        19세기 西進東漸의 파도 속에서 국가의 자립과 근대화를 위해 몸소 힘썼던 兪吉潛과 福澤??論의 사상 가운데 그들의 政淪論을 한국과 일본의 근대화 방향 차이를 중심으로 살펴보고자 한다. Due to the friction characteristics of pump, cylinder packing and passenger car, in the elevation system actuated with hydraulic inverter, there exist dead zones, which cannot be controlled by a PID controller. To overcome the drawbacks, in this paper, we propose a new hybrid fuzzy-sliding mode control scheme, which controls the controller output between a sliding mode control output and a PID control output by fuzzy control method. The proposed hybrid control scheme achieves an improved control performance by using both controllers: We first propose a design method of the hybrid controller for a hydraulic system controlled by inverters, then propose a design method of a hybrid fuzzy-sliding mode control scheme. The effectiveness of the proposed control scheme is shown by simulation results, in which the proposed hybrid control method yields better control performance then the PID controlled scheme, not only in the zero-crossing speed region but also in the overall control region including steady-state region.

      • 임베디드 리눅스를 이용한 산업용 인버터의 웹 기반 원격 관리

        전체적인 하중 전달 체계를 결정하는 예비 구조 설계는 구조 설계자의 많은 경험, 지식, 직관 등이 요구된다. 구조 설계자는 자신의 경험, 지식, 직관을 기초로 한 판단에 따라서 구조시스템 대안을 생성하고, 개략적으로 해석, 설계한 후에, 구조시스템 대안의 구조적 특성과 장점, 단점을 파악하여 최종적인 구조시스템을 결정한다. 하지만, 이 과정은 정해진 순서에 따라서 순차적으로 진행되는 것이 아니라 구조 설계자의 지속적인 판단에 따라서 여러 작업들에 걸쳐서 전후진하거나 반복적으로 진행된다. 즉, 예비 구조 설계의 프로세스는 정해져 있지 않고, 상황에 따라서 다양하게 전개된다. 이는 예비 구조 설계 과정에 컴퓨터를 효과적으로 활용하기 어렵게 만드는 원인중의 하나이다. 이를 해결하기 위해서는 구조 설계자가 컴퓨터와의 지속적인 상호 작용 방식에(interactive) 따라서 예비 구조 설계 프로세스를 조절할 수 있어야 하고, 이는 다시 예비 구조 설계 프로세스에 포함되는 단위 작업들, 그 관계, 전체적인 구성에 대한 명확한 이해가 선행되어야 한다. 본 연구에서는 예비 구조 설계 프로세스의 단위 작업들과 그 관계를 분석하여, 구조 설계자가 컴퓨터와의 상호 작용을 통하여 프로세스를 효과적으로 조절할 수 있도록 재구성한 예비 구조 설계 프로세스 모델을 제시한다. Driven by the growth of the Internet and the increasing ubiquity of embedded computing systems, the embedded system is exploding in terms of a proliferation of products and the number of complex applications. Intelligent dedicated systems and appliances used in interface, monitoring, communications, and control applications increasingly demand the services of a sophisticated, state-of-the-art operating system. In the case of industrial controller, it is required to use a real-time operating system (RTOS) as a good building block to enable Internet connectivity. However, commercial RTOSes are increasingly less desirable due to their lack of standardization and their inability to keep pace with the rapid evolution of technology. In order to overcome these problems, we consider using embedded Linux and embedded web server. Availability of source code, reduced licensing, reliability, open source community support, as well as others, are key reasons for the use of embedded linux by embedded developers. In this paper, we develop embedded linux platform to control the industrial inverter with the Internet connecting feature. The method of web-based management is also proposed by using the embedded web server and Java applet. We show the feasibility of remote management for the commercial inverter controller with the proposed three-tier web-based remote management system.

      • 실시간 시스템인 승강기 제어기 프로그램 개발

        This paper discusses a real time multi-tasking system model and a development environment for an elevator control system. Recently, as the elevator systems become large-scaled and operate with high speed, there are lots of software tasks to be processed with time constraints. Thus, the control systems are designed with distributed control structure and characteristics of typical real time systems. For structural design of such real time system, we introduce a multi-tasking model based on a real time operating system model and an software development environment based on virtual prototyping which simulates real system operation in the cross development environment. The developed system model and the development environment are successfully applied to development of a new elevator system with distributed control structure and its system reliability can be verified through numerous field tests.

        This paper describes my experiences in delivering a 3-year of psychological service to the Korean National Archery Team(1996-1998). The process of developing psychological skills training programs(PSTP) over a 3-year period is outlined. The contents of PSTP are explained and the importance of full cooperation from coaches, sport organization, and the ethics of the coach is discussed as well.

      • EIA-709.1 Control Network Protocol을 이용한 필드버스 시스템 구현

        EIA-709.1 Control Network Protocol is the basic protocol of LonWorks systems that is emerging as a fieldbus device. In this paper, the protocol is implemented by using VHDL with FPGA and C program on an Intel 8051 processor. The protocol from the physical layer to the network layer of EIA-709.1 is implemented in a hardware leval. So it decreases the load of the CPU for implementing the protocol. We verify the commercial feasibility of the hardware through the communication test with Neuron Chip, based on EIA-709.1 protocol, which is used in industrial fields. The developed protocol based on FPGA becomes one of IP and we are able to implement SOC for the terminal device in the distributed control systems. Also, the result can be applicable to various industrial field because it is implemented by VHDL.

      • 실시간 폐루프 제어 시스템을 위한 Profibus-FMS 네트워크의 구현

        As many sensors and actuators are used in various automated systems, the application of network to real-time distributed control system is gaining acceptance in many industries. In order to take advantages of networking, however, the network should be carefully designed to satisfy real-time distributed control. This paper presents an implementation method of closed-loop control using Profibus-FMS. In order to implement a closed-loop control system, we used industrial computers with Profibus-FMS network cards and a DC servo motor. Through various experiments, the step response of the control system with network was compared with the reference response without network.

      • IEEE 802.11을 이용한 Profibus 네트워크의 무선 확장 및 성능 평가

        This paper focuses on a method to connect mobile devices such as mobile robot. Automated Guided Vehicle (AGV) and Unmanned Container Transporter(UCT) to a fieldbus. In this paper, the IEEE 802.11 wireless LAN is used to extend a Profibus network for the mobile devices. In order to integrate these two networks, a gateway is developed using two threads and an internal buffer. Furthermore, a polling algorithm is applied at the gateway in order to satisfy real-time requirements on data communication, Finally, the performance measures such as data latency and throughput are experimentally evaluated on a wirelessly-extended Profibus network. The results shows the feasibility of the wireless extension of Profilbus for various mobile device.
