        To create good urban environment using old agricrltural crops, eight old crops were evaluated for growth and pollution injury at five districts in Seoul. The results are summarized as follows ; 1. In investigation of ten air pollutants in July and August, it was detected heavy contents at Kuroku districts, while Kwangzinku and Songpaku showed the least contents. There have resulted SO2 to be the most detection in Kuroku during experiment period. Whereas O3 showed them the most at Songpaku in August, while it was Soedaemunku in July. In dust content, Kuroku had the least in July, while Yongsanku was in August. 2. In the growths during three months of five districts in Seoul, Nicotiana tabacum was the worst, while five crops such as Perilla frutescens, Ricinis communis, Zea mays, Sorghum bicolor, Cassis tora were the best for growth. Yongsanku out of five districts was the worst them in general, however, there were the best growth in Sedaemunku. Perilla frutescens, Sorghum bicolor, Loix mayuen showed good overall everywhere. In pollution injury, it was quite different from distticts and crops, there showed more 3.0 grade of severe infury Gossypium nankion at Songpaku, Cassia tora at Kuroku, Nicoriana tabacum at Kuroku and Songpaku respectively. There were shown at Kuroku and Songpaku to be the heavy injury while three districts such as Seadaemunku, Yongsanku, Kwangzinku showed a little injury. 3. In contents of sulfur absorption in leaves among them, they were quite different from districts and crops. Sorghum bicolor, in Kwangzinku absorbed it the most, whereas there were the least it in Seodaemunku and Songpaku. Sorghum bicolor was the most absorption for it at Kwangzinku, while Ricinus communis at Kwangzinku, and Zea mays at Seodaemunku were analyzed the least for them. 4. Pollutant that showed overall the highest correlation coefficients with plant growths was O3, next was SO2 and NOx in order of them. The most crops had high correlation coefficients with O3. The crop which had high correlation coefficients for growth with O3 was particulary Perilla frutescens. They had correlation negatively between them in plant height, and plant width, while there were positively correlation between them with pollution injury. Sorghum bicolor showed also th have high correlation with O3, and Ricinus communis negatively correlation between O3 and plant width, and to have correlation positively between dust contents and no. of branches. Zea mays also gave results positively high correlation between O3 and injury leaves due to pollution while there were negatively high correlation for growth with it. Cassia tora showed also positively high correlation between pollution injury and O3.

        The diagnostic requirements were suggested and explained regarding the systems of differentiation of symptoms and signs in the third year study of standardization and unification of the terms and conditions used for diagnosis in oriental medicine. The systems were as follows : - analyzing and differentiating of epidemic febrile disease - analyzing and differentiating in accordance with the Sasang constitution medicine based on four-type recognition - differentiation of disease according to pathological changes of Chong and Ren channels - standards for diagnosis of women's disease - standards for diagnosis of children's disease - standards for diagnosis of motor and sensor disturbance (-muscle. born, joint, etc.) - standards for diagnosis of neuropsychiatric disease - standards for diagnosis of five sense organ disease - standards for diagnosis of external disease The indivisual diagnosis pattern was arranged by the diagnostic requirements in the following order : another name, notion of diagnosis pattern, index of differentiation of symptoms and signs, the main point of diagnosis, analysis of diagnosis pattern, discrimination of diagnosis pattern, prognosis, a way of curing a disease, prescription, herbs in common use, disease appearing the diagnosis pattern, documents. The standards for diagnosis of each disease was arranged by the diagnostic requirements in the following order : another name, notion of disease, the main point of diagnosis, analyzing and differentiating of disease, analysis of disease, discrimination of disease, prognosis, a way of curing and prescription of disease, disease in western medicine appearing the disease in oriental medicine, documents.

      • ACK를 이용한 EM 코드로부터 효율적인 SPARC코드 생성에 관한 연구

        The purpose of this paper is to improve SPARC code-quality. We suggest a method of SPARC code generation using EM tree. Our method is divided into two phases: EM tree building phase and code expansion phase. The EM tree building phase creates the EM tree and code expansion phase translates it to SPARC codes. EM tree is designed to pass parameters of a procedure call through register windows. To remove hybrid stack, we extract an additional information from EM codes. We improved many disadvantages that arise from code expander in ACK.

        Inconel 718 상향 엔드밀링시 절삭력에 미치는 공구형상오차의 영향

        In an end milling process, the undeformed chip section and cutting forces vary periodically with the phase change of the tool. However, the real undeformed chip section area deviates from the geometrically ideal one owing to the cutter runout and tool shape error. In the current study, a method of estimating the real undeformed chip section area which reflects the cutter runout and tool shape error is presented during up-end milling processes of Inconel 718. The specific cutting forces, K_r and K_t are defined as the radial and tangential cutting forces divided by the modified chip section area, respectively. Both of the K_r and K_t values become smaller as the helix angle increases from 30˚ to 40˚. Whereas they become larger as the helix angle increases from 40˚ to 50˚. The K_r and K_t values show a tendency to decrease with increase of the modified chip section area.

        The purpose of this study is to estimate the implicit prices and consumers’ preference by attributes on Korean beef cattle ham using choice experiments. Main attributes are the country of origin, non-antibiotic certification, HACCP certification, addition of Korean agricultural products and use of natural colors. The implicit prices of each attribute and level for country of origin are estimated as KRW 919.0 for Korean pork, KRW 2,173. for imported beef and KRW 5,232.9 for Korean cattle beef. The other estimated implicit prices are KRW1,762.9 for non-antibiotic certification, KRW 577.5 for HACCP certification, KRW 57.9 for addition of Korean agricultural products and finally, KRW 572.9 for use of natural colors. This study is expected to contribute to the decision-making process of Korean beef cattle farmers by providing useful quantitative information on attributes and price that are related to consumers’ preference on Korean beef cattle ham.

        This paper describes development of low cost precision machine that has combined the Build-in Motor with a vacuum chuck. This study mainly aims to find out a cutting condition for maintaining optimum surface condition and to examine cutting characteristics of the precision machine that is equipped by diamond bites. The cutting materials is Al alloy. Several experiments were carried out to find out the main factors that affect the surface roughness such as principal axis RPM(rotation per minute), feeding speed, and cutting depth. As a result, we obtain The optimum cutting condition of the developed precision machine.

        Locoregional recurrence is the most common type of recurrence in surgical operation of gastric adenocarcinoma, and peritoneal dissemination is one of the most difficult problems in advanced gastric adenocarcinoma treatment. Because the peritoneal cavity is the most common site of the first recurrence after gastric cancer resection, intraperitoneal chemotherapy seems a logical choice for cancer chemotherapy. In this study, Mitomycin C (MMC)-activated charcoal (CH)-alginate (ALG) beads were prepared by the mixtures of CH particles adsorbed with MMC as an anti-cancer drug and aqueous alginate solution. The alginate is recognized as biodegradable, nontoxic, and biocompatible. The release of MMC from the beads in 0.1 M Tris buffer was stable and continuous until about 1 week. The MMC-CH-ALG beads can be applied in the peritoneal cavity for intraperitoneal chemotherapy since they provide a good adhesiveness on the tissue and controlled release pattern of the drugs.

        Reaction of benzaldehyde derivatives with ethylacetate afforded ethylbenzylidenecyanoacetate. Especially, the crystal structure of ethyl p-methoxybenzylidenecyanoacetate were demonstrated by X-ray diffrection method. The crystal structure is only exist in E-form. The kinetic studies on the mechanism of nucleophilic addition of thiophenol to ethyl benzylidenecyanoacetate have been investigated by UV-spectrophotomery and the rate equation which can be applied over wide pH range was obtained. From the rate equation, effect of generalbase and substituent, the fellowing reaction proposed. Below pH 3.0, thiophenol added to the double bond, while above pH9.0 thiophenoxide ion added to the double bond. In the range of pH from 3.0 to 9.0, these reaction occurred competitively.

        Biodegradable retinal fixation devices obtain mechnical fixation of the retina with desirable chorioretinal scarring and with the potential for local, sustained release of antimetabolites and steroids to inhibit proliferative vitreoretinopathy. We manufactured a biodegradable retinal tack with barb that was designed in order to prevent intrusion from implantation of retinal tacks. This study was carried to evaluate the efficacy for retinal fixation and the capability for sustained release of drugs with a newly designed biodegradable retinal tack Biodegradable retinal tacks were made of polymers of glycolic acids and were designed with barbs in a shape to prevent the disinsertion. Biodegradale retinal tacks are divided into 3 parts, a conical portion that is inserted into the sclera, a cylinder portion that remains in the vitreous, and a neck portion between the pin and the cylinder. The tapered conical end was manufactured to allow easy insertion through the retina and choroid into the sclera. A cylinder portion was manufactured with a tapered angle that fixes firmly into the orifice of 19 gauge spinal needle. A neck portion, 0.4 mm in diameter, was designed to prevent disinsertion from following implantation of retinal tack. The applicator was a 19 gauge spinal needle and its orifice was prepared to 15°angle to accept the tapered cylinder portion of the retinal tack. The retinal tacks, secured in the needles, were passed through the formed vitreous and inserted into the retina, choroid, and sclera and were released by pushing the internal needle, usually within 2-3mm of the medullary ray of the posterior rabbit retina A retinal tack was placed in each of 8 pigmented rabbit eyes. Slit-lamp biomicroscopy, indirect ophthalmoscopy and fundus photography were performed periodically from 1 day to 8 weeks after surgery. Eight eyes were enucleated and studied by light microscopy at 8 weeks. Biomicroscopic evaluation of the animals revealed edemas adjacent to the retinal surfaces immediately after insertion of the biodegradable retinal tacks in all the animals. These edemas disappeared after 1 week. The first noticeable change in the size of retinal tacks was shown after 2weeks. The size of the retinal tacks gradually got smaller, decreasing to about one-half at 4 weeks and about one-third at 8 weeks. All retinal tacks remained in inserted places without any movement for an 8 week period. On light microscopy, epiretinal proliferations were seen to extend into the vitreous cavity. Cellular capsules that lined the inner aspect of the scleral defect caused by tack insertion were found. However the adjacent retina had a normal cytologic appearance and architecture in all specimens. We manufactured a biodegradable retinal tack that is designed to prevent intrusion from implantation of retinal tacks. All biodegradable retinal tacks reduce in size with time, but no retinal tacks extruded from the inserted place. The newly designed biodegradable retinal tack can be used for retinal fixation and may be used as a vehicle for the introduction of pharmacologic agents to prevent the cellular events that promote proliferative vitreoretinopathy.
