When a failure occurs in active distribution system, it will be isolated through the action of circuit breakers and sectionalizing switches. As a result, the network might be divided into several connected components, in which distributed generations could supply power for customers. Aimed at decreasing customer interruption cost, this paper proposes a theoretically optimal island partition model for such connected components, and a simplified but more practical model is also derived. The model aims to calculate a dynamic island partition schedule during the failure recovery time period, instead of a static islanding status. Fluctuation and stochastic characteristics of the renewable distributed generations and loads are considered, and the interruption cost functions of the loads are fitted. To solve the optimization model, a heuristic search algorithm based on the hill climbing method is proposed. The effectiveness of the proposed model and algorithm is evaluated by comparing with an existing static island partitioning model and intelligent algorithms, respectively.
Experimental Study on Tire-Road Dynamic Contact Pressure Distribution Using FTIR Imaging
Liang Chen,Zhu Daqian,Wang Guolin,Shan Maoqing 한국자동차공학회 2021 International journal of automotive technology Vol.22 No.5
The power source for accelerating, braking, and steering of the vehicle is derived from the contact force between tire and road. Therefore, the pressure distribution in the tire-road contact patch is imperative for explorative studies into tire and vehicle performance. A test bench for measuring tire-road dynamic contact pressure distribution was designed based on the frustration of total internal reflection (FTIR) imaging. The load, camber angle, slip angle, and rolling speed of the tire can be adjusted by the bench. The factors, including the color of calibration material and the ambient light, were studied to improve the calibration accuracy of the bench and solve the problem of recurring calibration of the bench at regular intervals. From the image captured by the camera, the contact region between the tire and the road was obtained by image processing technologies, including image correction, graying, filtering, and segmentation. The obtained contact region was converted into contact pressure distribution by the parameters obtained from calibration subsequently. Finally, the dynamic contact pressure distribution under different conditions, including different inflation pressure, load, camber and slip angles, was analyzed and the error is within a reasonable range.

Four new ursane-type triterpenoid saponins, clinopoursaponins A–D (1–4), six new oleanane-type triterpenoid saponins, clinopodiside VII–XII (5–10), as well as eight known triterpene analogues (11–18), were isolated from the aerial parts of Clinopodium chinense (Benth.) O. Kuntze. The structures of the new compounds were determined based on extensive spectral analyses, including 1D (1H and 13C) and 2D NMR experiments (COSY, NOESY, HSQC, 2D TOCSY, HSQC-TOCSY and HMBC), HR-ESI-MS and chemical methods. Compounds 1–18 were evaluated for their protective effects against anoxia/reoxygenation-induced apoptosis in H9c2 cells and cytotoxicities against murine mammary carcinoma cell line 4T1. Compounds 8, 9 and 18 exhibited significant protective effects, while compound 1 exhibited cytotoxic activity with IC50 value of 7.4 μm compared to 7.6 μm for the positive control 10-hydroxycamptothecin.

Ran-ran Shan,Liang-guo Yan,Yan-ming Yang,Kun Yang,Shu-jun Yu,Hai-qin Yu,Bao-cun Zhu,Bin Du 한국공업화학회 2015 Journal of Industrial and Engineering Chemistry Vol.21 No.1
The Mg–Al-CO3-LDH with Mg2+/Al3+ molar ratio of 2 was prepared via coprecipitation method atconstant pH of 9–10 and used to remove three red dyes by batch adsorption method. The results showedthe Mg–Al-LDH were well crystallized and can adsorb the red dyes effectively. The optimal adsorbentdosage and contact time were 1.0 g and 60 min, respectively. Adsorbed amount hardly changed whenpH < 10. The adsorption kinetics fit the pseudo-second order kinetic models well and isothermscorrespond to Langmuir model strictly. All the relevant mechanisms were studied and manifested asanion exchange and also electrostatic attraction for CR.

The phytohormone abscisic acid (ABA) plays a vital role in plant development and response to abiotic stress, and many components in ABA signaling remain to be discovered to fully understand the highly complex ABA signaling network. Here we reported that over-expression of MYB28 or MYB99, two R2R3 MYB transcription factors in Arabidopsis thaliana, confers hypersensitivity to exogenous ABA during seed germination, cotyledon greening and early seedling growth. However, both myb28-1 and myb99-1 knockout mutants exhibit wild-type ABA phenotypes most likely due to a functional redundancy of the multiple MYB members. Real-time PCR analysis shows that over-expression of the MYB28 or MYB99 changes expression of a subset of ABA-responsive genes. Collectively, these findings suggest that MYB28 and MYB99 play important, positive roles in ABA signaling during seed germination and early seedling growth.

In this article, adaptive tracking control for a class of switched stochastic nonlinear systems subject to unknown dead-zone input using multi-dimensional Taylor network (MTN) is studied. Firstly, the characteristic function is introduced to convert the nonlinearity of the input dead-zone into a linear model. Secondly, a novel adaptive control method based on the backstepping recursive design technique is proposed, which combines MTN and common Lyapunov functions (CLFs). Significantly, a method to reduce the computational complexity of switched stochastic nonlinear systems is proposed for the first time, which introduces characteristic function and MTN technology. The result makes clear that the proposed controller can ensure all signals of the closed-loop system are bounded in probability, and the output of the system can track reference signal well. Finally, the effectiveness of proposed control method is verified by simulation results.

HMGB1 is associated with human cancers and is an activator of autophagy which mediates chemotherapy resistance. We here show that the mRNA levels of HMGB1 are high in leukemia cells and it is involved in the progression of childhood chronic myeloid leukemia (CML). HMGB1 decreases the sensitivity of human myeloid leukemia cells K562 to anti-cancer drug induced death through up-regulating the autophagy pathway, which is confirmed by the observation with an increase in fusion of autophagosomes and autophagolysosomes. When overexpressing HMGB1, both mRNA levels of Beclin-1, VSP34 and UVRAG which are key genes involved in mammalian autophagy and protein levels of p-Bcl-2 and LC3-II are increased. Luciferase assays document that over-expression of HMGB1 increases the transcriptional activity of JNK and ERK, which may be silenced by siRNA. The results suggest that HMGB1 regulates JNK and ERK required for autophagy, which provides a potential drug target for therapeutic interventions in childhood CML. [BMB reports 2011; 44(9): 601-606]

Gang Xiao,Wen Zhang,Yong-Liang Zhang,Jiu-Jun Chen,Shan-Shan Huang,Lu-Ming Zhu 제어로봇시스템학회 2011 제어로봇시스템학회 국제학술대회 논문집 Vol.2011 No.10
In order to overcome the defect of physic-chemical monitoring system and enhance the intelligence of biological monitoring technology, an online monitoring system of fish behavior is proposed in this paper. The main contributions of this system are as follows: 1) adaptive background updating algorithm (ABU); 2) automatic camshift tracking algorithm (ACT) with twice searching; 3) particle filter tracking (PFT) algorithm; 4) persistent turning walker (PTW) model; 5) artificial immune algorithm (AIA). This online system is used to monitor and analyse the fish behavior continuously, establish a normal behavior model and detect the anormal behavior. Experimental results show that the system is running stably and has achieved well effect in the simulation environment.
