우리나라 지역 직업성질환 감시체계의 현황과 전망

기존의 특수건강진단과 작업환경측정을 통한 직업병 관리가 진폐증, 소음성난청 등의 소수 특정질환에 국한되고 실제 직업병 발생 규모 파악이나 신종 직업병의 발견에 한계를 보인다는 사실은 산업의학전문가들 사이에서도 공감을 이루고 있다. 미국과 영국 등에서의 직업성질환 감시체계에 대한 경험은 우리 나라의 직업성질환 감시체계 구축에도 새로운 자극제가 되면서, 1998년이후 인천, 대전, 여천, 구미, 부울경 지역에서 지역 직업성질환감시체계를 산업보건관리의 중요한 시스템으로 구축하려는 노력이 확산되고 있다. 새로이 구축되어지는 이들 지역 직업성질환 감시체계는 감시하고자 하는 대상질환, 활용 가능한 인적자원 및 자료원, 지역 의료체계의 특수성 등에 따라서 목적과 방법을 달리하면서 독특한 형태로 발전을 하고 있다. 각 지역단위 감시체계들이 그 상황에 맞게 독특한 목적과 전략들을 발전 시키면서도, 향후 발전할 국가적인 차원의 직업성질환 감시체계 구축을 위하여 직업성질환 감시의 기본 전략 등을 공유하는 등의 노력이 필요하다. 환례 정의 및 기본적인 등록 서식의 공유, 직업성질환 감시 자료원의 발굴, 공동의 정보 네트워크 및 직업성질환 감시 데이터베이스 구축 등 직업성질환 감시활동을 지원하기 위한 여러 기초 인프라 구축에 힘을 모아야 할 것이다. 우리 나라에서 직업성질환 감시체계를 성공적으로 구축하기 위해서는 수집된 자료의 질 관리를 위한 직업성질환 감시의 원칙 제정과 감시 전략의 공유 등이 필요하며, 전국적인 직업성질환 감시체계의 하부구조라고 할 수 있는 지역감시체계의 기초 토대 마련과 강화작업이 절실하게 필요하다.

남성화를 보이는 여성에서 발견된 난소의 Steroid Cell Tumor 1예

Steroid cell tumor is a rare ovarian sex cord-stromal tumor which accounts for 0.1% of all ovarian tumors. Until now, only 4 cases have been reported in domestic literatures. Steroid cell tumor often secrets testosterone and presents virilization in adult women or precocious puberty in children. Treatment is often performed by surgical removal, adjuvant chemotherapy and radiation, but completely accepted treatment was not existed. We experienced a case of steroid cell tumor, which was manifested by typical virilization in a 43-year old patient, who was previously performed hysterectomy and unilateral oophorectomy. So, we present with a brief review of the literatures.

서울의 Penicillinase Producing Neisseria gonorrhoeae 발생빈도(1998)

In recent years, gonorrhea has been pandemic and remains one of the most common STDs in the world, especially in developing countries. For the detection of a more effective therapeutic regimen and assessing the prevalence of Penicillinase Producing Neisseria gonorrhoeae(PPNG), we have been trying to study the patients who have visited the Venereal Disease Clinic of Choong-Ku Public Health Center in Seoul since 1980 by menas of the chromogenic cephalosporin method. In 1998, 93 strians of N. genorrhoeae were isolated, among which 60(64.5%) were PPNG. The prevalence of PPNG in Seoul, which had been decreased to 39% in 1996 after a peak of 74.3% in 1993, is increased to 64.5% in 1998.

Based on the analytic solution to the electrostatic problem of the multi-junction trap with equal N-junction capacitances C and a well capacitance Cw, we obtain explicit expressions for the charging energy, the GiMs free energy, the energy barrier height and the threshold voltage. In particular, when an electron is already trapped in the store island, we analyze the effect of the well capacitance and the number of junction for single electron multi-junction txap. In the C_(w)/C>3/Ncase, an electron can be trapped in the store island height depernds on the number of junction, the value of barrier height is Ne^(2)/8C for C_(w)/C>1. Thus, when N is large and C_(w)/C is large, it is favor of trapping electron in the store island. We find that multi-junction trap with small well capacitance is not suitable for studying the single electron trap. Multiloop edgewise Archwire 기법으로 치료된 전치 개교 증례의 두부방사선사진 계측학적 평가

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the change of before and after treatment of anterior openbite malocclusions treated by Multiloop Edgewise Archwire technique. The openbite sample consisted of 4 male and 12 female adults, treated with nonextraction or third molar extaction. The normal sample consisted of 58 subjects, which have pleasing facial profile and normal occlusion and no experience of orthodontic or prosthodontic treatment. The 58 subjects of normal sample were subdivided by cephalometric vertical relationship of face. The 40 subjects, cephalometric vertical relationship of face was in normal range, classified as Normal Sample group 1. The 18 subjects, increased cephalometric vertical relationship of face, classified as Normal Sample group 2. The computerized cephalometric analysis was accomplished with 50 reference points for 22 skeletal measurements, 46 dentoalveolar measurements, 8 soft tissue measurement. Statistical analysis of the data was carried out with paired t-test, Student's t-test, and DUNCAN test using SAS(PC version). The results were as follows : 1. There were no statistically significant differences in skeletal measurement between before and after treatment. The major changes were in dentoalveolar region. 2. After treatment, the long axis of maxillary and mandibular posterior teeth were distally tipped-back, and uprighted to bisected occlusal plane. The interincisal angle was increased. 3. There were no statistically significant increase in the upper posterior dental height and statistically significant decreace in the lower posterior dental height. The upper anterior dental height was increased, but there was no statistically significant increase in the absolute upper anterior dental hight. The lower anterior dental height was increased. 4. After treatment, the maxillary occlusal plane to palatal plane angle and the mandibular occlusal plane to mandibular plane angle were statistically significant increased. Then, there were no statistically significant difference between after treatment group and normal sample group 2. 5. After treatment, the percentage of upper lip length to upper anterior dental height was decreased. Then, There were no statistically significant difference between after treatment group and normal sample group 2.

양어용 사료첨가제로서 감귤발효액 (EM-Fermented Orange)의 항산화특성

Mandarine orange (Citrus unshiu Marc.) only added with sugar was fermented by effective microorganisms (EM). called "EM-fermented orange". EM was mainly composed of lactic acid bacteria. phototrophic bacteria and yeast. As pH of EM-fermented orange reached 3.5 to 4.0 in the course of fermentation. the incubation was stopped. and then. EM-fermented orange was preservable at room temperature for about 6 months. Composition and concentration of free amino acids in EM-fermented orange were analyzed. Concentration of total amino acids was 167 mg/l. and the relative content of carnosine (β-alanyl-L-histidine) which was well known as a kind of antioxidant materials was very high. 41%. In addition. crude extract showing antioxidant activity could be obtained from EM-fermented orange using some organic solvents. The antioxidant activity of the crude extract was equivalent to about 9% of that of vitamin E by the use of 1.1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) method. It was suggested that EM-fermented orange having antioxidant characteristics could promote the health of fish.

상악 제 2대구치 발치를 동반한 Ⅱ급 부정교합의 치료

The purpose of this report is to present the successful improvement of occlusal relationship and facial esthetics in class Ⅱ division 1 malocclusion with severe labioversion of upper anterior teeth and severe overjet, and in class Ⅱ malocclusion with infraversion of bilateral maxillary canines by MEAW mechanics, which enables us to get effective distal en mass movement of maxillary dentition, with upper second molar extraction. After treatment, there were natural contact points at canine and premolar regions, normal occlusal relationship and treatment results, satisfied the gnathologic concept, in this 2 cases. Compared with the routine treatment with premolar extraction, the treatment time and patients' discomfort were reduced. And the MEAW mechanics, which enables us to get effective distal en mass movement of maxillary dentition, resulted in reduction of the treatment time and getting the good treatment results. Consequently, the major concerns in orthodontic treatment are appropriate diagnosis and treatment plan, so, the application of second molar extraction with appropriate case analysis and diagnosis is very helpful to orthodontic treatment.

벼 생육 및 수집에 대한 대체농자재의 영향

본 시험은 환경농업기술을 직접 농가에 파급시킬 목적으로 3년간('96~'98)수행하였던 연구결과를 토대로 1999년에 환경농업 시범마을인 남원시 대강면 방산리의 일반농가포장에서 수행한 결과이다. 계분 발효퇴비와 깻묵을 시용한 환경농업과 절충형농업 시험구의 벼 생육은 화학비료를 시용한 일반관행농업 시험구에 비하여 저조하였으며, 왕우렁이(Ampullarius insularus)를 이용한 잡초방제 효과는 제초제 2회(초·중기)살포효과보다 우수하였다. 목초액의 병해충 방제효과는 저조하였고 또한 환경농업과 절충형농업 시험구의 정조수량은 일반관행농업 시험구에 비하여 3~5% 감소 되였다. 수질은 환경농업과 절충형농업 시험구가 일반관행농업 시험구에 비하여 COD, NO₃-N, SO₄^(2-), Cl^(-)이 낮았으며, 물벼룩의 밀도는 높았다. The aim of this study was to apply the new agricultural technique developed for three years(96-98) by demonstration at an model farm of environmental agriculture located in Bangsan-ri, Dagang-myun, Namwon-city. Rice growth of environmental farming plot, which supplied with oil cake and compost fermented with chicken manure was reduced compared to that of conventional farming plot, which supplied with chemical fertilizers. Weed control by using of Ampullarius insularus in the rice paddy field was effective compared to that of control, which treated with chemical herbicide twice. The yield of rice was decreased of 3-5% in both environmental and eclectic farming good compared to that of conventional farming plot. The water quality of environmental not and eclectic farming plot were good compared to conventional farming plot. Density of water flea was high in environmental and eclectic farming plot compared to that of the conventional farming plot.

원형도파관과 구형도파관간의 T-접합 분기회로 해석

In this paper, the T-junction branch network of the orthomode transducer is analyzed. The T-junction blanch network consists of the cylindrical common waveguide and the rectangular sub-waveguide. Using the vector potential of each region, the hybrid mode is considered. Based on the derived electromagnetic components, scattering parameters of the T-junction branch network are calculated. The cylindrical waveguide size and the rectangular waveguide size are WR62 and WC55. In order to analyze the discontinuity of the T-junction branch network, high order mode of the branch region is considered the 15th. From the results, the transmission coefficient. S31 and S21 show -3dB, the reflection coefficient, S11 and S33 are -10dB, -8dB in the range of 13.3GMz∼16GHz.
