        푸른길 공원의 대기 환경 특성에 관한 연구

        Objectives: This study aimed to survey the characteristics of air quality and meteorological conditions in a greenway park. Methods: We measured meteorological and health related factors, including noise, particulate matter ($PM_{10}$) and selected gaseous air pollutants at three locations in a greenway park and on a general roadside as comparison. The measurements were repeated four times from April to October 2014. Results: The average air temperature in the greenway park was $20.7^{\circ}C$ which was $1-2^{\circ}C$ lower than on the general roadside. The average $PM_{10}$ concentration in the greenway park was $85.0{\mu}g/m^3$, a level 2-3 times lower than that at the roadside. The noise level at the greenway site was 4.4 dB(A)- 23.0 dB(A) lower than at the roadside. The average CO, $CO_2$, $SO_2$ and NOx concentrations in the greenway park were lower than at the roadside. The average phytoncide and anions concentrations in the greenway park were higher than at the roadside. Conclusions: The urban forest of the greenway park may have some impact on air quality and meteorological conditions.

        Evolution of Industrial Cluster and Policy : The Case of Gumi City, Korea

        본 연구는 구미 전자산업클러스터의 진화과정을 분석하고 지역산업변화에 정부의 역할을 이해하는데 그 목적이 있다. 1990년대 초반까지 구미 산업단지는 수도권에 본사를 둔 대기업 분공장의 집적지로 구미지역에서의 산업연계가 미약했다. 그러나 최근 20년 동안 구미는 지역 내 기업 간 연계와 중소기업의 혁신활동이 상당히 이루어져 전자산업중심의 클러스터로 발전하고 있다. 정부의 산업정책은 구미전자산업클러스터의 진화과정을 이해하는데 매우 중요하다. 초기의 국가산업정책은 전략산업의 선정과 개발을 통해 구미 국가산업단지의 성장과 전자산업 중심의 전문화에 영향을 미쳤으며, 최근의 혁신클러스터 정책은 기업, 대학, 연구소간의 연계를 강화하고 지역 내 혁신네트워크 형성을 지원하였다. 경상북도와 구미시는 지역 대학 및 기업과 직접 협력관계를 맺고 지역의 연구개발 역량 향상과 중소기업 지원을 위한 정책을 중심으로 지역 발전에 기여하였다. 중앙정부와 대기업의 역할에 더해 지방정부와 중소기업의 역할 증대가 구미산업클러스터 진화의 기반이 되고 있다. This paper aims to analyze the process of the evolution of Gumi electronics industrial cluster and to understand the role of governments for local industrial dynamics. Gumi was a typical satellite platform type new industrial district up to mid-1990s. At that time, Gumi industrial park was the agglomeration of branch plants headquartered in Capital Region with weak local linkages. During the last two decades, however, Gumi has evolved to an electronics industrial cluster with considerable local interfirm linkages and innovation activities of SMEs. Recognizing government industrial policies is critical in understanding the process of the evolution of Gumi electronics cluster. At the early stage, the state was the developer and locator of business activities within the confines of the Gumi industrial park. In recent years, central government's innovative cluster policy contributed to strengthening networks among firms, universities, and research centers to form local innovation networks as well as networks between large branch plants and SMEs. Gumi city and Gyungsangbuk-do promoted innovative activities of SMEs through the supports of cooperative networks between universities and SMEs. The increasing roles of SMEs and local governments in addition to the large branch plants and the central government have become the basis of the evolution of industrial cluster in Gumi.

        북한산국립공원 북한산성-인수봉 지역의 산림군집구조

        북한산 국립공원지역의 식생구조를 파악하고자, 북한산성에서 인수봉에 이르는 지역에 16개의 방형구(2500㎡)를 설정하여 식생을 조사하였다. 식물군집을 분류한 결과 16개 조사구는 신갈나무 혼효림 군집, 소나무-신갈나무 군집, 신갈나무 우점군집의 3개 군집으로 분류되었다. 북한산 국립공원내 북한산성에서 인수봉에 이르는 지역의 우점수종은 신갈나무로 나타났다. 수종간의 상관관계는 신갈나무와 진달래, 신갈나무와 개옻나무, 진달래와 철쭉, 노린재나무와 철쭉, 당단풍과 함박꽃나무 등의 수종들 간에는 높은 정의상관이 인정 되었고, 물푸레나무와 진달래, 노간주나무와 당단풍, 쪽동백나무와 당단풍 등의 수종들간에 부의 상관이 비교적 높은 편이다. 조사지의 군집별 종 다양성도는 1.23 6~1.319의 범위로 다른 국립공원들의 능선부 식생에 비하여 비교적 높게 나타났다. To investigate the vegetation structure of the region from Bukhansanseong to Insubong in Bukhansan National park, 16 plost(2500㎡) set up with random sampling method were surveyed. Three groups Quercus mongolica -Mixed Broad Ieaved community, Pinus densiflora -Quercus mongolica community, Quercus mongolica community was classified (or communities were classified) by cluster analysis. Quercus mongolica were found as a major woody plant species in Bukhansan National park region. High positive correlation were proved between Quercus mongolica and Rhododendron; Quercus mongolica and Rhus tricocarpa; Rhododendron mucronulatum and Rhododendron schlippenbachi; Symplocos chinensis and Rhododendron schlippenbachii; Acer pseudosieboldianum and Magnolia sieboldii, and relatively high negative correlation was proved between Fraxinus rhynchophylla and Rhododendron mucronulatum; Juniperus rigida and Acer pseudosieboldianum; Styrax obassia and Acer pseudosieboldianum. Species diversity(H`) of investigated groups were ranged from 1.236~1.319 and it was relatively high compared to those of the ridge area of other national parks.

      • 동일한 국제예후지표(International Prognostic Index)를 나타내는 미만성 대형 B-세포 림프종에서 Bcl-2와 p16의 임상적 중요성

        In Korea, malignant lymphoma is a common cancer, comprising about 2.7% of all malignant neoplasm. Diffuse large B cell lymphoma is the most common lymphoma, representing about 50% of all Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. Diffuse large B-cell lymphoma is usually considered as heterogeneous group of neoplasms rather than a single clinicopathological entity. Clinical prognostic systems, including the International Prognostic Index (IPI), although useful to assess overall prognosis, embrace patients with heterogeneous prognoses. But International Prognostic Index scoring system is not sufficiently predict the prognosis. It is likely that the prognostic assessment of patients with diffuse large B-cell lymphomamight be improved by using biological features. Bcl-2 protein and p16 protein expression is recognized as useful biologic markers predicting the prognosis of patients with diffuse large B-cell lymphoma. To determine the clinical significance and prognostic value of bcl-2 and p16 proteins expression patterns, we studied 18 patients with de novo DLBL, whose archival pathology specimen were available for immunohistochemistry studies, atChungnam National University Hospital from September 1992 to December 2000. Archival specimens from each patient were immunostained with respective antibodies for bcl-2, p16. The results are as follows; 1) The median age was 54(rage : 37-69). There were 12 male patients(66.7%) and 6 female patients(33.3%) The 'B' symptom was abscentin all patients. The stages were as follows : Ⅰ, 2 patient(11.1%), Ⅱ, 10 patient(55.6%), Ⅲ, 4patient(22.2%) and Ⅳ, 2patient(11.1%). 3 patients(16.8%) had the elevated LDH level, 14 patients(77.8%) had the normal LDH level and 1 patients(5.6%) was not identified the LDH level. 2 patients(11.1%) had the bulky disease and 16 patients(88.7%) had no bulky diease. The distribution of ECOG status were O, 2 patients(11.1%c), 1, 14patients(77.8%) and 2, 2patients(11.1%). 2) Theimmunohistochemistry results are as follows bcl-2:+,10 patients(55.6%), bcl-2:-, 8patinets(44.4%), p16:+,3 patients(16.7%), p16:-, 15patients(83.3%) 3) After a median follow UP durations of 67 months, the median survival time was 57 months with a rage of 7-100+ months. 5-years overall survival rates was 44% by Kaplan-Meier method. 4) Reduced overall survival was demonstrated in the patients who expressed bcl-2 protein(P=0.0174). 5-year overall survivial rate was 12%(bcl-2 expression) versus 88%(no bcl-2 expression) 5) Among diffuse large B-cell lymphoma patients with IPI score 0-1, reduced overall survival was demonstrated with bcl-2 expression(P=0.023). 5-year overall survival rate was 18%(bcl-2 expression group) versus 100%(no bcl-2 expressiongroup) 6) Median survival durtation of diffuse large B-cell lymphoma patients negative for p16 expression was 57 months whereas p16 postive patients' median survival duration was not reached(P=0.4478). In diffuse large B-cell lymphoma patients with identical IPI scores, bcl-2 expression had additional prognostic value.

        Fungus such as Candida albicans is a normal flora that is frequently found in the oral cavity, gastrointestinal tract, genitourinary tract, vaginal mucosa in a normal person. However, candida can cause opportunistic infection in an immune compromised host. Candidiasis has broad spectrum of disease from mucocutaneous infection to invasive or disseminated infection. But, it is rarely reported that candida is associaed with gastrointestinal tract disease in a healthy adult. The case of gastric ulcer associated with candida particularly in a health adult is reported with relevant literature.

        방사선사진의 인덱스-순서 분석을 통한 치아경조직의 탈염화 검출

        Purpose : The purpose of this study was to develop the radiographic technique for detecting the demineralization which is known as indication of dental caries. Materials and Methods : This technique was based on the comparing of multiple radiographs which was irradiated by multiple X-ray spectra. For the meaningful comparing, the multiple radiographs were reconstructed to the dosimetrically consistent images using a standard material. The difference of resulting images of same target with multiple spectra represents the difference of response of material as regards the spectra. Results : We have found about 10% of demineralization of dental hard tissues particularly in the proximal region through the analyzing of differences. Conclusion : Most intriguing thing in this investigation was that the method to analyze difference shows us to an anatomic structure of dental hard tissues even if absolute values of optical density were excluded during the procedures.

        영국의 첨단기술 산업정책과 지역정책

        1979년에 자유시장 주의를 강조하는 대처수상의 보수당 정권이 집권함에 따라 보조금 지급을 위주로 하고 있었던 영국의 지역산업 정책은 기술 개발과 혁신을 지원하는 방향으로 전환되었다. 이를 위해 과학기술의 상업화를 저해하는 대학과 기업간의 문화적 장벽을 허물 수 있는 첨단 과학단지의 건설이 장려되었다. 실제로는 런던 대도시권 주변의 웨스턴 크레슨트 지역에만 첨단산업 집적이 본격적으로 이루어지게 되었다. 미국의 실리콘밸리를 모델로 한 캠브리지 지역은 첨단산업 발전의 잠재력이 높아 주목되고 있다. 그러나 낙후지역에 첨단산업을 발전시켜 고용안정과 지역 불균형을 시정하려는 정책의도는 전반적으로 달성되지 못하였다. 지원정책이 선택적이고 차별적인 성격을 가지고 있었으므로 핵심지역에 위치한 기존의 첨단산업 집적지가 주변지역에 신설된 과학단지에 비해 발전에 유리했다. 또한 지역사회와 차단된 과학단지는 사회적 양극 분화를 촉진하고 기술진보를 저해할 수 있다는 측면이 지적될 수 있다 The inauguration of conservative cabinet headed by Thatcher. M. in 1979 had brought the major policy changes in the area of regional development. The Tory government, believed in the liberal economic policy based on the notion of free market, supported the technological development and innovation initiated by the regional industry instead of financial aid to the stagnating region. Accordingly, the construction of science park in the U.K had been cheered in the 1985 by the local government, universities, and public institutes. But, in general, the policy aim of securing the job stability and realizing the balanced development on the national level has not been succesfully achieved. In fact, high-tech industries agglomerated only in the western crescent region around the metropolitan London. Therefore the region, where technical and information infrastructures for the high-tech industries had been already accumulated, was in better position to pursue high-tech industrial development compared with the regions surrounding newly constructed science parks. In addition. the "science park island" separated from the regional society has brought forth the disfunction of precipitating the polarization of local community and hazarding the diffusion of technological progress.

      • 공업용 접착제 증기 흡입이 흰생쥐 기관상피에 미치는 영향 : 조직화학적 및 미세구조적 연구

        Industrial glues, known as Bonds in Korea, contain many kinds of organic solvents, and glue sniffing of youths became one of the social problems in Korea. Mixed exposures to solvents by glue sniffing may induce chronic toxicities different from those induced by exposures to the solvent of single component. In this study, toxicological insult of the inhalation of glue vapor on the primary target organ, the tracheal epithelium of the respiratory system was morphologically worked out. Vapor samples of organic solvents were collected for analysis, and the components found were aceton, n-hexane, methyl cyclopentane, c-hexane, and toluene by gas mas. In order to inhale the organic solvents of adhesives to the mouse, experimental animals were exposed to vapors of the glues(acetone 5212 ppm, n-hexane 139 ppm, c-hexane 3757 ppm, methylcyclopentane 1820 ppm, and toluene 2.2 ppm) in a chamber for 20 min/day for 3, 5, 7, 14 consecutive days, in a whole body inhalation chamber. Control groups were exposed to room air. Animals were sacrificed and tracheal tissues were collected and fixed in 10% neutral formalin for light microscopy and in 2.5% glutaradlehyde - 1.5% paraformaldehyde for transmission electron microscopy and in 2.5% glutaraldehyde for scanning electron microscopy. The results are as follows : 1. In the tracheal epithelium of a normal mouse, ciliated cells, nonciliated cells and basal cells were found, but goblet cells and submucosal glands were not found. 2. In the tracheal mucosa of a normal mouse, alcianophilic bands were detected, but PAS positive bands were not found, but alcian blue-PAS positive cells were found in the mucosae exposed to glue vapor for 7 days and 14days. 3. Distributing of ciliated and nonciliated cells in the epithelium were roughly comparable during experimental periods; the longer the experimental period(2 week), higher the percentage of non-ciliated cells. 4. The mouse of organic solvent inhaled group showed three distinct forms of nonciliated cells, which were apparently transitional types between nonciliated cells and ciliated cells. It is suggested that the role of the nonciliated cell might be a developmental functioning involved in the epithelial cell turnover. Nonciliated cells show a great deal of plasticity; change to ciliated cells during the early phase; and revolving of nonciliated cells during the repopulation phase after injury. The results suggest that ultrastructural morphologic changes in tracheal epithelia may occur following glue sniffing, and those structural changes were analysed as an adaption to the environment.

        The result of comparative group strudies on the nature and characteristics of Foot Reflexology using acupuncture as a health treatment to cure the diseases and aches in our body by stimulating a specific part or point of the body are as follows: 1) We can keep in good health by stimulating a specific part of our body. 2) Many neverous systems are concentrated in the foot more sensitive than the hand and it is possible to cure illness using them. 3) We can guess our state of Health from the state of development, and the structure, of our feet. 4) Park Jae-woo's foot theory forms a similar contracted corresponding system of body but in which the tip jount of the toe corresponds to our head. 5) Park's refexology claims that there exists a passage of energy blood which are linked to the blood vessels of body in a direct relationship to the contracted corresponding system enbodied in the feet. 6) Mildred Carter's approach is the structure of the contracted bowels of the body into the feet along with the right center line of the body, placing the right bowels into the right foot and vice versa. 7) Mildred Carter claims that the inside of the feet reflects the corresponding the backbone of the body. 8) Anna kaye's approach shows that two kinds of zones of the body, vertical and horizontal, correspond to these of the feet. 9) Takenouchi theory is a zone therapy which considers important the marginal scope of nerves transmitting in human body. 10) Bowling pin's reflexology is another interpretation of the contracted corresponding system of the foot laying stress on the torso.

The Anti-cancer Effect of Oriental Medicine Chung-Ri-Ja-Gam-Tang in the Mouse with Metastatic Lung Cancer. Proceedings of International Symposium on East-West Medicine, Seoul. 231-243, 1999.-The oriental medicine Chung-Ri-Ja-Gam-Tang is an herbal medicine which has been used for pulmonary diseases and known as having immune stimulatory effects. It has been known effective in lung cancer. So we studied the effects and the mechanisms of this herbal medicine it the mouse with metastatic lung cancer. The metastatic lung cancer of the mouse was produced with melnoma cell line(B16BL/6).5×10□/mouse tumor cells were injected intravenously to the CDF1 mouse via tail vein. The mice were divided 4 groups. The first group was treated with 50mg/kg extract of Chung-Ri-Ja-Gam-Tang per oral for 10 days after cancer cell injection, second group treated with saline after cancer cell injection, the third group with medicine without cancer cell, and the last group with saline only. After 10 days treatments some of the mice were scarificed and the lung and spleen was removed. The survival duration, weight change, the number of metastatic cancer nodule of the lung, the NK cell activity, the capacity of cytokines(INF-γ,INF-α,IL-2) production and the proliferation activities of mouse lymphocytes were measured. The surival times of the group 1 mice were longer and the weight loss was less than the group 2 significantly. The number of the metastatic nodule of the lung were decresed in the group 1 than the group 2. The production of INF-γ,was increase in group 2 than group 3 and 4, IL-2 production was increased in group 1 than group 2,3,4 significantly. There was no difference in TNF- α production and proliferation activity of lymphocyte in each group. The NK cell activity was significantly increased in group 1 than group 2,3,4. We conclude that the Chung-Ri-Ja-Gam-Tang has the effect of increasing the NK cell activity of the CDF1 mouse with metastatic lung cancer(B16BL/6). And it is suggested that the increased production of the IL-2 is the mechanisms of enhanced NK cell activity.
