Locoregional recurrence is the most common type of recurrence in surgical operation of gastric adenocarcinoma, and peritoneal dissemination is one of the most difficult problems in advanced gastric adenocarcinoma treatment. Because the peritoneal cavity is the most common site of the first recurrence after gastric cancer resection, intraperitoneal chemotherapy seems a logical choice for cancer chemotherapy. In this study, Mitomycin C (MMC)-activated charcoal (CH)-alginate (ALG) beads were prepared by the mixtures of CH particles adsorbed with MMC as an anti-cancer drug and aqueous alginate solution. The alginate is recognized as biodegradable, nontoxic, and biocompatible. The release of MMC from the beads in 0.1 M Tris buffer was stable and continuous until about 1 week. The MMC-CH-ALG beads can be applied in the peritoneal cavity for intraperitoneal chemotherapy since they provide a good adhesiveness on the tissue and controlled release pattern of the drugs.

The transient soot distributions within the region bounded by the droplet surface and the flame were measured using a full-field light extinction technique and subsequent tomographic inversion using Abel transforms. The soot volume fraction results for n-heptane droplets represent the first quantitative assessment of the degree of sooting for isolated droplets burning under microgravity condition. The absence of buoyancy(which produces longer residence times) and the effects of thermophoresis produce a situation in which a significant concentration of soot is produced and accumulated into a soot-cloud. Results indicate that indeed the soot concentration within the microgravity droplet flames(with maximum soot volume fractions as high as ~60ppm) are significantly higher than corresponding values that are reports for normal-gravity flames. This increase is likely due to longer residence times and thermophoretic effects that manifested under microgravity conditions.

The numbs, of elevators in the country has recorded about 100 thousand in 1995. Since 1993, about 18,000 elevators have been increased each year. And it is expected that about 15,000 elevators will be installed every year. Inspite of this situation, there are not any proper safety management systems to prvent the elevator accidents in this county, Because of this reason, elevator accidents do not cease and occur continuousely. So at this time, it is very urgent that the preperation of fundamental programs to prevent the elevator accidents. In this study, it is investigated the realities and problems of safety management system for elevators in this country. And it is suggested the general plans for construction of safety management system for elevators to solve the problems concerning to elevators. To approach the aim, the questionaries far industries and users are executed. As a results from investigation of questionaries, It is suggested the plans for improving the safety management system for elevators, including organizations far inspection, standards for inspection, inspectors, period of time for inspection, maintenance system, manufacturing and distribution system for components of elevator etc.

We can save the moving time for taking park in meeting through the remote coferencing system. We can quickly make a decision by using video conferencing system in real-time. In this paper, we designed an prototype model of multimedia Data Transmission Subsystem on ATM. The desigend system is compased of audio server, video server, adn document server, adn they formulate audio subsystem, video sybsystem, and document subsystem respectively. The result of this paper can provide bse technology of implementing conferencing system, which may be enough to develop multimedia conferencing system for using voices, still images, full motion images in communication protocol.

Boiler is a hazardous equipment to have potential explosion all the time. And not only it has malfunction at explosion, it lead to people death but also secondary accident such as explosion and fire. Therefore, this equipment should not be broken for keeping its own function. And also, high level of safety should be kept in the process of the use not to be malfunctioned A large scale of accident due to boiler explosion can be preventive in advance. Boiler fracture is occurred by instant expansion (approximately 1700 time) from quick evaporation of water in boiler, due to pressure decrease in boiler. Emitting energy from it is tremendous and it is so dangerous because of its high temperature. Secondary explosion such as fire is also a main hazard occurring at fuel supply place. If any devices with high pressure is broken, then not only boiler vessel but also components of it are spread with high speed, causing secondary accident. This study is to analyze integrally accident cause of fire and flue tube boiler to have occurred pressure fracture actually, to show countermeasures to prevent accident loss from the fire and flue tube boiler.
선박수리업무에 종사하는 군무원들의 작업환경에 대한 인식이 직업만족도에 미치는 영향

This study was carried out to evaluate the relations among working environments, health behaviors and satisfaction with their duty in a group of 200 ship-repair workers in the ROK navy. The results were as following; Age of workers was 40 years and over(83%) and working duration was 10 years and over (71.5%). Most of them were married and had studied beyond high school. The 69.5% of workers satisfied with their job, whereas. about 59.5% of workers had satisfaction with their working condition. There were current drinkers, 78.5%, current exercising workers, 43.5%, obese workers, 28.0%, and salted food intakers, 18.5% in the workers. The major harmful environmental factors in the ship-repair workplace are noise, vibration, dust and chemicals. Most of workers are exposed to above harmful factors and complained about exposure of noise and dust. The consumption of cigarette or alcohol in people who exposed to noise was much higher than in people who did not, but the difference was not statistically significant. Prevalence of obesity and hypertension were not significantly different between the exposure with noise and dust. Noise or dust exposure was significant relation to satisfaction with their duty and working condition. The affective factors for satisfaction with their duty were people who worked for 10 years or more(OR= 4.53), exercisers(OR=4.78) and dust(OR=3.05) in Logistic regression analysis.

Secondary school teachers' leasure activities which exert great effects on middle- and high-school students' thought and behavior become an important factor for their profession and sentiment. This study examined secondary school teachers' leasure activities in relation to gender, years of teaching experience, and marriage via survey methodology. The results of the study can be summarized as follows: 1. Female teachers tended to have less time in weekdays than did male teachers. 2. Married teachers tended to prefer outdoor activities on weekend. 3. Both female and male teachers were found to spend last summer vacation doing general leisure activities such as reading, meditating, collecting, and exploring. 4. More female teachers than male teachers tended to consider that principals, vice principals, and head teachers did not have much interest in leisure. 5. Among the obstacles to teachers' leasure activities were lack of time, place, and facilities.
