        The prevalence of PPNG among pretreated gonorrhea cases isolated at the STD clinic of Choong-Ku Public Health Center in Seoul has been studied and reported annually since 1981. In 1991, 123 strains of N.gonorrhoeae were isolated, among which 58(47.1%) were PPNG. In 1992, 98 starains of N.gonorrhoeae were isolated, among which 51(52.0%) were PPNG. In all, 109(49.3%) strains were found to be PPNG among 221 strains isolated between 1991-1992. The prevalence of PPNG in Seoul showed increased tendency till 1989, thereafter, it has been stationary or slightly decreasing.

      • 무증상으로 발견된 담낭-담관 누공을 동반한 Mirizzi 증후군 1예

        Mirizzi's syndrome is a rare complication of the gallstone disease, characterized by narrowing of the common bile duct (CBD) due to chronic extrinsic compression of an impacted gallstone in the cystic duct or the neck of the gallbladder. The impacted gallstone may erode into the bile duct, causing cholecystocholedochal fistula. The patients generally have history of repeated attacks of jaundice and abdominal pain. But there is no report about asymptomatic Mirizzi syndrome with cholecystocholedochal fistula which were found incidentally. So herein we present our clinical experience with a case of asymptomatic Mirizzi syndrome with cholecystocholedochal fistula in a young female.

        공기청정기의 일부 실내공기 오염물질 제거효율에 관한 연구

        In this study, we investigated PM_(10), NO₂, and 1-hydroxypyrene(1-OHP) in urine at indoor environments which are 35 houses and 20 hospitals for using air cleaner and non-using air cleaner in Seoul metropolitan area and Kyoung-gi province from April, 2003 to February, 2004. Moreover, we examined effect of improvement for indoor air quality and health effect by concentration of 1-OHP also we investigated removal efficiency by air cleaner for PM_(10), NO₂, and 1-OHP that were 28.5%, 27.4%, and 42.1% respectively. Concentration of PM_(10), NO₂, and 1-OHP were 19.02±18.14μg/m³, 8.66±3.06ppb, and 0.19±0.18μg/g creatinine when air cleaner was no worked. The concentration for PM_(10), NO₂ and 1-OHP were 13.60+10.79μg/m³, 6.29±2.71ppb, and 0.11±0.10μg/g creatinine, respectively. It was significant statistically. Therefore, it is considered using the air cleaner to remove the partial pollutants in indoor environment and is positive effect for health.

        초등학교 과학 수업에서 개념도 활용의 효과

        In this study, we investigated the effects of using concept mapping as an instructional tool on 4th graders' achievement, science learning motivation, and attitude toward science classes. T재 classes (38 students) from an elementary school were respectively assigned to a control group and a treatment group. Students were taught about "expansion of matter by heat" and "heat transfer". These topics were chosen because they require students to understand more concepts as well as relationships among them. A science learning motivation test and an attitude toward science classes test were administered as pretests. A researcher-made achievement test, the science learning motivation test, and the attitude toward science classes test were administered as posttests. The results indicated that using concept mapping in 4th-grade science classes was not significantly effective in improving students' achievement though a statistically significant positive effect was found in the subcategory of knowledge. No statistically significant effect of using concept mapping was found in the scores of the science learning motivation test and the attitude toward science classes test. Educational implications are discussed.

      • V₂O-B₂O₃-PbO 유리의 전자 상자성 공명연구

        V₂O??-B₂O₃-PbO 유리의 VO??에 관한 전자 상자성 (EPR) 스펙트럼으 연구하였으며, vanadium이온의 스핀해밀토니안 상수들을 구하였다. 유리시료안의 V₂O??양을 증가시킴에 따라 g??과 g??값은 증가하였으나 A??과 A??값은 감소하였다. 이는 V₂O??수가 증가하면 동일 평면상의 vanadium과 oxygen배위간 결합의 공유성이 증가함을 의미한다. 유리내의 vanadium 4가이온은 정방형 일그러진 8면체를 한 vanadyl착물로 존재한다. Electron Paranmagnetic Resonance(EPR) SPECTRA OF (VO)?? in V₂O??-B₂O₃-PbO glasses have been studied and spin hamiltonian paramenters of vanadium ion have been calculated. It is found that the value of g??and g?? increases while the value of A?? and A?? decreases with an increase of V₂O?? content in the glass samples, showing that the covalency in the in-plane vanadium -oxygen ligand bonds increase with increasing the concentration of V₂O??. The tetravalent vanadium ions exist as vanadyl complexes with tetragonally distorted octahedral sites in the glasses.

      • 천연한방식물체 추출물의 생리활성에 관한 연구

        Physiological activities of extracts of Oldendia diffusa(WILLD.) ROXB., Agrimonia pilosa LEDEB. Var. japonica(MIQ.) NAKAI and Aconitum coreanum (LEVL.) RAIPAICS were investigated, respectively. Electron donating ability of Agrimonia pilosa LEDEB. var. japonica(MIQ.) NAKAI was higher than 60% at concentrations of various diluted solutions. The SOD like activity of 5% extracts of Oldendia diffusa(WILLD.) ROXB. And Agrimonia pilosa LEDEB. var. Japonica(MIQ.) NAKAI were measured as 64.08% and 62.38%, respectively. Tyrosinase inhibition experiment was done as using mushroom tyrosinase. Tyrosinase inhibitory effect of 1% extract of Agrimonia pilosa LEDEB. var. japonica(MIQ.) NAKAI was measured as 89.6%. This result was very higher than 81.5% of Oldendia diffusa(WILLD.) ROXB. at the same concentration.

      • 칼슘과 아연으로 치환된 Y0.8 Pr0.₂ Ba₂ Cu₃ O7_δ 의 전기 및 자기적 성질에 관한 연구

        전이온도가 72K인 고온초전도체 Y?P?B?Cu?O?에서 초전도성을 감소시키는 Pr원소자리에 Ca과 Zn를 적당히 치환시켜 자기적 성질을 연구하였다. 초전도 전이온도(Tc)는 Ca이 치환된 시료의 경우 80~85k의 범위에서 측정되었으며, Zn가 치환된 경우에는 35~49K의 값을 보였다. 비저항의 온도 변화로부터 결정된 전기적 전이온도는 온도에 대한 자기모우먼트으 변화에서 구한 자기적 전이온도와 비슷한 값을 보였다. 자기이력곡선으로부터 Bean의 모델을 이용하여 Hcl(저임계자기장), Hc?(고임계자기장), 반자성정도, 임계전류밀도를 측정하였다. 이러한 성질들은 시료 내에 Ca의 치환량이 많아질수록 증가하였으며, Zn가 많아질수록 급격히 감소하였다. 특히 임계전류밀도는 x=0.0인 시료는 1.60x10?A/㎠이었으며 Ca이 치환된 시료는 1.30~1.98x10? A/㎠, Zn가 첨가된 시료는 3.5x10?~1.3x10?A/㎠의 값으로 계산되었다. 이것은 시료 내에서 Ca은 초전도성을 증가시키고, Zn는 초전도성을 감소시키는 것을 의미한다. We have studied magnetic properties as a appropriate substitute of Ca and Zn element for Prelement which reduces superconducting properties in the high-temperature superconductor Y?Pr?Ba?Cu?O? of transition temperature 72K. When Ca is put into, the critical temperature(Tc)showed the value of measurement at the range of 80~85K while for Zn the Tc had the range of 35~49K. The electric critical temperature determined by the temperature dependence of resistivity had a similar data to the magnetic field), Hc?(high critical magnetic field), diamagnetic ratio and critical current density have observed by Bean's model from the magnetic hysterisis curve. These properties were increased with adding Ca and abruptly decreased with adding Zn in the samples. Especially, the critical current density of x=0.0 sample was calculated at 1.60x10?A/㎠ and those of the other Ca-added samples at the range of 1.30~1.98xA/㎠and those of Zn-added samples at the range of 3.50x10?~1.30x10?A/㎠. These mean that Ca increases supercondecting properties in the sample and Zn element decreases them.

        It is necessary to evaluate the location suitability of livestock facilities to guide reasonable livestock. The evaluation system could help plan new livestock facilities in rural areas. The assessment was performed based on location characteristics of livestock facilities such as land utilization around livestock facilities, size of livestock facilities, water and drainage condition, accessibility and distance from roads, floor condition, distance from village and house, direction of livestock facilities, ventilation facilities, animal Waste treatment, and so forth. In this study, location characteristics of livestock facilities were showed each location factors using statistical analysis.

        관개수심에 따른 벼의 생육 및 수량

        논토양에 있어서 관개수심에 따른 온도분포를 파악하고, 벼 재배에서 관개수심을 달리했을 때 수온과 지온의 온도환경변화와 이에 따른 수도의 생육 및 수량반응을 구명코자 실시한 시험결과는 다음과 같다. 우리나라 수원지방에서 수도재배기간 중 평균기온범위는 23.4∼29.1℃의 분포를 보였으며, 평균기온은 25.3℃이었다. 평균수온은 21.4∼26.7℃의 범위를, 지온은 21.7∼25.7℃의 범위를 보였으며, 수온 및 지온은 평균기온의 상승ㆍ하강에 따라 상승ㆍ하강하였다. 관개수심에 다른 생육특성을 보면 초장, 엽면적, 건물중 등은 처리간 차이가 없었다. 그러나 유수형성기는 12cm관개구에서 이앙 후 87일, 4cm구에서 83.3일이 각각 소요되어 관개수심이 깊을수록 유수형성기는 늦어지는 경향이었다. 수량 및 관련형질은 ㎡당 수수는 4cm관개구에서 413.3개/㎡로 가장 많았으나, 수당립수 및 ㎡당 입수는 오히려 8cm관개구가 각각 99.0개. 38,808개/㎡로 가장 많았으나, 관개수심별 정조수량은 대차 없었다. This experiments were carried out to evaluate the characteristics of temperature and the response of growth and yield characteristics under different irrigation depth in paddy rice field. Range of mean air temperature showed from 23.4℃ to 29.1℃ and mean of these air temperature was 25.3℃, while range of water temperature was from 21.4℃ to 26.7℃ and mean water temperature was 24.7℃. Range of soil temperature also was shown from 21.7℃ to 25.7℃ and mean temperature was 24.4℃ during growing periods of rice in Suwon. Plant height, leaf area index and dry matter were not shown difference among different irrigation depth, but date of panicle formation between irrigation depth showed difference such as that 12cm irrigation depth required 87.0 days while 4cm irrigation depth 83.3 days from transplanting showing that the deeper the irrigation depth, the later the panicle formation delayed. Number of panicles per ㎡ was shown highest in 4cm irrigation depth with 413.3/㎡, but 8cm irrigation depth showed higher number of grain per panicle and number of grain per ㎡ with 99.0, 2560.0/㎡ respectively. Unhulled rice yield among different irrigation depth showed no difference statistically.
