Gastric angiodysplasia is vascular ectasia in mucosa and submucosa of the gastric wall. It is an uncommon cause of upper gastrointesinal hemorrhage that may occur in the stomach or duodenum. There are many kinds of endoscopic treatments, such as argon plasma coagulation, electrocoagulation, heat probe, and submucosal injection of hypertonic saline mixed with epinephrine for gastric angiodysplasia. However, these treatment methods are associated with high rate of rebleeding. In order to avoid the recurrence, endoscopic band ligation has recently been used as an alternative method for endoscopic treatment of gastric angiodysplasia. We encountered a case of gastric angiodysplasia that presented with overt bleeding and anemia, and was successfully treated with endoscopic band ligation.

Chloride ions are considered to be the major cause of steel corrosion in concrete structures exposed to seashore environments and also permeation of chloride is controlled by chloride diffusion. Therefore, the study on chloride diffusion of concrete have been done so far by many researchers. In this study, several factors such as capacity of voltage, time of an electric current, concentration of NaCl solution, water-cement ratio, and temperature of the solution were examined to grasp what influence they were on the chloride ion diffusion properties using the Rapid Chloride Penetration Test(RCPT) by electrophoresis. Also standing on the basis of the such result application possibility of Rapid Chloride Penetration Test(RCPT) used in this study will be evaluated and the basic data on the durability design for the chloride attack will be suggested.

Background : In recent years, gonorrhea has been panedemic and remains one of the most commom STDs in the world, especially in developing countries. Objective & Methods: For the detection of a more effective therapeutic regimen and assessing the prevalence of PPNG, we have been trying to study the patients who have visited the VD Clinic of Choong-Ku Public Health Center in Seoul since 1980 by means of the chromogenic cephalosporin method. Results: In 1996, 139 strains of N. gonorrhoeae were isolated, among which 53(39.0%) were PPNG. Conclusion: Our results suggests that after a peak of 74.3% in 1993, the prevalence of PPNG in Seoul is gradually declining.

托裡消毒飮이 傷處治癒에 미치는 影響

These experiments were conducted to investigate the wound healing action of Taklee-Sodok-Eum(TSE) water ext. TSE extract did not affect on the paper disk granuloma formation and mouse paw edema induced by histamine, but inhibited on the leakage of evans blue into peritoneal cavity. Using proliferation of Balb/c 3t3 fibroblast cell line as an in vitro model of granulation tissue formation, the ability of TSE to stimulate cellualar proliferation of fibroblast cells was investigated. When the cells were seeded at 1 × 10 exp (4) cells/well, Balb/c 3T3 cells were reached to the late exponential phase at 3rd day. Under the conditions established above, TSE increased the proliferation of Balb/c 3T3 cells at concentration of 10^-6 g/ml. The treatment of 10^-6 g/ml of TSE did not influence on the DNA synthesis, but decreased the protein synthesis of the cells. The 10% serum from TSE treated mice(500㎎/㎏/day for 4 days) increased the proliferation of Balb/c 3T3 fibroblast markedly, and did not influence on the DNA synthesis and protein sythesis of the cells. The results suggest that wound healing in vivo will be agumented by the treatment of TSE. In addition, TSE may be of practical therapeutic use in wound healing.

Abstract - In this paper, The hardware and software of an Intelligent Traffic Controller has been designed. It consist of several parts-Main CPU module, Field I/O module, Display Module, communication module and Mother Board module. These modules were classified by the functions. This system can be communicated using the Mother Board module. A traffic data is processed by Main CPU module, A data input and output are processed by Field I/O module, User interface is processed by Display module, and Software debugging is processed by communication module and Main CPU module. In this paper, a hardware can be attached and detached easily because It was designed as the module. This system has an advantage that can be used as the common controller. The Overall System consists of several part - loop sensor, loop detector, traffic controller and PC to debug software. Until a few years ago, the sequential program method had been used in Embedded System. But, Because of the complex hardware, the Real Time Operating System is used at the present. In this thesis, OS-9 is ported to the traffic controller. The verification program is designed for testing hardware and software. The verification program consists of several parts - serial communication test, free memory test(DRAM, FLASH, SRAM), Timer test, real time clock, data key read and write test, LED test, Field I/O module test and Front Panel Assembly test. User can verify the hardware and software by calling sub-program.

運動選手의 身體構成 및 體型에 관한 硏究

This study aims to afford basic data for picking aut new athletes who are expected to have abilityes to be good players in the future. Fifty eight boys having excellent records as athletes in their sports events were selected from the primary schools located in the Pusan area, and their somatotypes as well as their body compositions were analyzed. The results are as follows; 1. The gymnasticss showed most low on an average by 134.4±4.60㎝ and 1.60±0.07m² in their height and body surface area respectively, but the volley ballers most high by 154.9±3.44㎝ and 1.37±0.07m²respectively. 2. The middle distance runners showed most low by 4.8±0.071kg in body fat, but the swimmers most high on an average by 6.5±0.98kg in body fat. 3. The sprinters and the gymnastics group were analyzed asectomorphic mesomorph with 2.72-4.04-3.00 and 2.59-4.29-2.62 respectively in their mean somatotypes, the football and swimmer groups balanced mesomorph-ectomorph with average 2.40-3.18-4.21 and 2.82-3.24-3.54 respectively, the middle distance runners mesomorph ectomorph with average 2.40-3.18-4.21 and 2.82-3.24-3.54 respectively, the middle distance runners mesomorph ectomorph average 2.12-3.37-4.15, the basket ball and the jumping group balanced ectomorph with average 2.76-2.84-4.01 and 2.08-1.92-4.94 respectively, and finally the volleyballers ectomorphic endormorph with average 2.76-2.84-4.01.

PVA-ECC를 활용한 Half PC 복합체의 역학적 특성에 관한 실험적 연구

ECC represents one particular class of HPFRCC, which are defined by an ultimate strength higher than their first cracking strength and the formation of multiple cracking during the inelastic deformation process. This study is to provide the fundamental data for the development of hybrid construction method such as the half PC(Precast concrete) reinforced by PVA-ECC, the mechanical properties of half PC according to the alteration of properties of PVA-ECC in terms of the type of fiber, Vr, S/M, placing height of PVA-ECC, are experimentally investigated. As the results. it is found that the half PCs of PVA-ECC have very higher mechanical performance in terms of yield load, strain capacity beyond yield point and maximum flexural load than that of mortar. Also, flexural crack in the half PCs of PVA-ECC are not localized at first crack and are growed to many micro crack, especially multiple cracking in specimen of P(12)-30-0.1ㆍ3 occurred.

Results : In 1997. 99 strains of N. gonorrhoeae were isolated, among which 45(45.5%) were PPNG. Conclusion : The prevalence of PPNG in Seoul, which had been decreased to 39% in 1996 after a peak of 74.3% in 1993, is increased to 45.5% in 1997.

벤처기업 육성을 통한 부산지역 경제발전 방안

1980년대 이후 부산지역경제의 전국비중은 급격히 감소되어 왔다. 본 연구는 날로 침체되어가고 있는 부산경제에 활력소를 제공하고 지역경제구조를 보다 고부가가치화, 고도화시키는 촉매제 기능을 담당할 지역 벤처기업의 육성전략을 제시하는데 그 목적이 있다. 벤처기업의 육성은 중소제조업이 중심이 되어 지역경제를 구성하고 있는 부산지역 산업구조를 개선하는데 있어 선도적인 역할을 할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다. 그러나 부산지역에서는 경제적 의미에 부합되는 벤처기업은 극소수에 불과하고 기존사업 형태를 유지하면서 법률적인 요건을 충족시킨 기업들이 그 주류를 이루고 있다. 부산지역에서 벤처기업이 육성되기 위해서는 첫째, 고부가가치 신기술을 개발할 수 있는 잠재력을 지닌 고급인력에게 기술개발에서 창업, 사업화에 이르는 종합적인 창업보육지원이 필요하며, 둘째, 지역민간 벤처캐피탈, 정책금융, 부산시 자금 등으로 분리되어있는 벤처기업 관련자금을 체계적으로 공급할 수 있는 금융지원시스템이 확립되어야 하며, 셋째, 벤처기업의 신기술개발 및 혁신, 디자인개발, 공정관리에 필요한 인적.물적지원시스템이 대학을 중심으로 구축되어야 하며, 넷째, 개발된 기술의 상품화를 위한 경제성분석, 수요개발, 광고, 물적유통 등에 대한 외부전문가들의 사업화지원시스템이 필요하며, 다섯째, 벤처기업이 대기업으로 성장하는 단계별로 금융, 기술, 사업화 등을 지속적으로 지원할 수 있는 종합적인 지원센터가 필요하다.

女子大學生의 PWC 에 관한 實驗的 硏究 : with priority given to %Vo₂max %VO₂max를 中心으로

With the subject of six Badminton players, seven Softball tennis players, and six General Students; this study was made in order to reveal the degree of PWC170 and %VO₂max by measuring how rate would change when they run on the treadmill. These results are as follows: 1. In Body surface area, badminton players were 1.64±0.058㎡, softball tennis players were 1.54±0.072㎡, general students were 1.45±0.093㎡. 2. In all-out time, badminton playerswere the highest as 15.15 1.00/min, softball tennis players were 15.04 0.41/min, general student were 12.45±1.35/min. 3. In Maximum heart rate, badminton players were 190.0 2.53beats/min, softball tennis players were 192.4±3.74 beats/min, general students were 205.0±2.45beats/min. 4. In VO₂max, badminton players were 2.92±0.188ℓ/min, softball tennis players were 2.87±0.500ℓ/min, general students were 2.30±0.311ℓ/min. In VO₂max/wt, badminton players were 43.61±2.821 ㎖/kg/min, softball tennis players were 49.65±10.129 ㎖/kg/min, general students were 45.68±3.495 ㎖/kg/min. 5. In Rest O₂pulse, badminton players were 4.56±1.035 ㎖/beats, softball tennis players were 3.50 ±.932 ㎖/beats, general students were 2.78±0.412 ㎖/beats. In Max O₂Pulse, badminton players were 15.42±1.77 ㎖/beats, softball tennis playerswere 15.13±2.559 ㎖/beats, general student were 11.33±1.741 ㎖/beats. 6. In Rocovery heart rate and % VO₂max, badminton players were fastest recovery, general students were last recovery. 7. Between heart rate and %VO₂max revealedvery high correlation as more than r=0.91 Significantly different revealed 0.1% at the level. 8.
