Cryogenic cooling effect on mechanical alloying of the mixture of Fe-14Cr-3W-0.1Ti and Y<SUB>2</SUB>O<SUB>3</SUB> powders was investigated. The powder mixtures were ball milled for 40h at room-temperature and -150<SUP>o</SUP>C. Cryomilling produced much finer particle/grain size than conventional room-temperature milling. XRD diffraction peak intensity was much lower under cryomilling conditions due to formation of nano-size grains and increased residual microstrain. Absorption amounts of interstitial elements were considerably higher under cryomilling conditions.

We developed processes of co-evaporation and precursor-reaction for high quality CuIn,GaSe2(CIGS) and characterized their structural properties using various techniques such as SEM, XRD, XRF, and Auger depth profiling. In addition, we used a basic fabrication process for CIGS photovoltaic devices and evaluated their J-V characteristics. For the cells of 0.47 cm<SUP>2</SUP>, the conversion efficiency of 15.54% and 9.7% was obtained for co-evaporated and precursor-reaction prepared CIGS cells, respectively.

Purpose: This study aimed to identify the relationship among sleep, resilience, and interpersonal relations of college students. Methods: Data were collected by using a structured questionnaire consisting of Korean Sleep Scale, Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale-10, and Relationship Change Scale between September 21st, 2018 to September 30th, 2018. Subjects were 185 college students who currently attend universities in a city. Collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA, Tukey’s test and Pearson’s correlation coefficient using the SPSS 25.0 program. Results: The mean score of sleep was 34.93±6.35, the mean score of resilience was 23.17±6.95, and the mean score of interpersonal relations were 3.65±0.38. In sleep, there were significant differences according to grade and major. In resilience, there were significant differences according to gender and grade. Sleep was negatively related to resilience (r=-.319, p<.001) and interpersonal relations (r=-.226, p=.002). Interpersonal relations were positively correlated to resilience (r=.348, p<.001). Conclusion: The results suggest that concrete measures to promote interpersonal relations need to be sought in consideration of the relations among college students' sleep, resilience, and interpersonal relations. Also, it is expected that the study will be used as basic data to improve the interpersonal relations of college students in the desirable direction by improving the sleep and resilience of college students.
원발성 간암에서 PIVKA-II 및 Lens Culinaris Agglutinin-A 반응성 Alpha-fetoprotein(AFP-L3)의 임상적 유용성

Background/Aims: Des-γ-carboxy prothrombin(DCP), a protein induced by vitamin K absence or antagonist-II(PIVKA-II), and Lens culinaris agglutinin-A reactive AFP-L3 have been reported to be useful markers for the diagnosis of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). In the present study, both the PIVKA-II and AFP-L3 were analyzed and compared with a conventional AFP to determine its usefulness, specificity and sensitivity in the diagnosis of HCC. Methods: Sera were collected from 108 patients consisting of 17 patients with chronic hepatitis, 22 patients with liver cirrhosis and 69 patients with HCC. The AFP-L3 was determined by an lectin affinity electrophoresis coupled with an antibody-affinity blotting. Level of DCP was measured by an enzyme immunoassay with an anti-DCP monoclonal antibody. Results: The sensitivity and specificity of PIVKA-II and AFP L3 were 49.3% and 89.5%, and 32.5% and 85.7%, respectively. No significant correlation was found between the PIVKA-II or AFP L3 and serum AFP. No correlation was found etween the PIVKA-II or AFP L3 and the characteristics of HCC. The template reaction of a 1: 1 mixture of 4,5-disubstituted(2CH_(3) or 2C1)-1,2-phenylenediamine and alkylenediamine [NH_(2)- (CH_(2))_(n)-NH_(2); n = 2 or 3] with 2,4-pentanedione in the presence of a nickel(Ⅱ) salt gave a series of asymmetric 14-11 nickel(Ⅱ) complexes with disubstituted tetraazaannulene, [Ni(Me_(4)-X_(2)bzotetraaza[Y]ene] (X =CH_(3) and Cl, Y= 14 and 15), which were characterized by mass, infrared, ^(1)H and ^(13)C NMR spectra. The electronic effects of the disubstituent groups on the phenyl ring significantly affected the spectral properties of the complexes. The electrochemical behaviors of the nickel(Ⅱ) complexes with monosubstituted benzoN_(4) macrocycles, [Ni(Me_(4)-Xbzotetraaza[Ylene)] (X = H, NO_(3), CH3 and Cl, Y = 14 and 15) exhibited cyclic voltammograms characterized by, two irreversible, one electron, waves due to oxidation of the macrocycle (Mc); Mc^(+) → Mc^(2+) in the ranges of +0.06-+0.28 V for 14-X and t-0.01-+0.29 V for 15-X, and Mc^(+) → Mc^(2+) in the ranges of +0.58 to + 0.81V for 14-X and +0.36 to +0.79 V for 15-X versus Ag/Ag^(+) (0.01 M AgNO_(3) in 0.1 M tetraethylammonium perchlorate (TEAP) acetonitrile solution). In the reduction area only one reversible wave Ni^(2+)/Ni^(+) was detected at E_(1/2)= -1.65 to -2.65 V in DMSO. The relationships between the oxidation potentials (E_(ap) and σ_(p) were linear with a slopes of 0.23 V for 14-X and 0.18 or 0.23 V for 15-X (correlation coefficients of 0.99). The catalytic reduction of dioxygen by the electropolyrnerized glassy carhon electrodes (GCE) occurred at about 400 mV more positive than by the bared one. The catalytic reduction using 14-X occurred at potentials somewhat more positive than using 15-X.
Electrical Properties of ZrO2 and YSZ Films Deposited by Pulsed Laser Deposition

Polycrystalline ZrO2 and yttria-stabilized ZrO2 thin films have been deposited on Pt/Ti/SiO2/Si substrates by pulsed-laser-deposition methods. Pt/ZrO2/Pt and Pt/YSZ/Pt capacitor structures show giant conductivity switching behaviors which can be utilized for nonvolatile memory devices. Maximum on/off ratio of 106 and good endurance even after 105 times conductivity switching are observed in a typical Pt/ZrO2/Pt whose ZrO2 film has been deposited at 100C and at an oxygen pressure of 50 mTorr. The Pt/ZrO2/Pt structure exhibits two ohmic behaviors in the low-voltage region (V < 1.4 V), depending on the value of previously applied high voltage, and Schottky-type conduction in the high-voltage region (1.4 V < V < 8.9 V). It seems that conductivity switching behaviors in our Pt/ZrO2/Pt structure result from changes in both the Schottky barrier and the bulk conductivity controlled by applied voltages. A Pt/YSZ/Pt capacitor structure has more stable reset voltage and current state than a Pt/ZrO2/Pt capacitor structure. Moreover, a Pt/YSZ/Pt capacitor structure shows higher conductivity than a Pt/ZrO2/Pt capacitor structure, which may result from substitution of Y3+ ions for Zr4+ ions.
Lactobacillus spp.와 Bacillus coagulans의 glutathione sulphydryl 함유율과 항산화 활성

활성산소의 세포막 파괴효과로부터 보호작용과 항산화 활성이 강한 균주를 선별하기위하여 33균주에 대한 세포내 glutathione 함유율과 linolcic acid 산화억제활성을 측정하였다. Lactobacillus casei HY2782 25.15 u㏖/g으로 가장 높은 함유율을 보이고 있으며 Lactobacillus rhamnosus CU01, Lactobacillus plantarum CU03 이 14.0u㏖/g 으로 통계적인 유의성을 나타내는 수준으로 높은 함유율을 나타내었다. 포자형성균주중의 glutathione 함유율측정결과 Lactobacillus sporogenes CU815, sporolactobacillus inulinus ATCC13538 은 Bacillus coagulans 균주의 GSH 함유율 보다 유의성이 인정되는 높은 함유율을 나타내었다. L. acidophilus ATCC4356, L. casei HY2782, L. brevis CU06 L. helveticus CU631은 Lactobacillus spp 중 높은 항산화 활성을 나타내었고 Bacillus coagulans의 항산화 활성범위는 6.02~51.72%로 나타났으며 Bacillus coagulans균주의 항산화 활성이 Lactobacillus spp.의 산화억제활성보다 높은 성향을 나타내었다. The antioxidative ability on the basis of reduced glutathione sulphydryl level, the inhibition activities of linoleic acid peroxidation of cell free extract of Lactobacillus spp and Bacillus spp. have been determined; Lactobacillus casei HY 2782 contained the highest level of GSH among the probiotic strains with 25.1μmole/g. Significanly high level of GSH occured in the intracellular cell free extract of Lactobacillus rhamnosus CU01, Lactobacillus plantarum CU03 The antioxidant activity and inhibition of linoleic acid peroxidation of cell free extract of Lactobacillus spp and Bacillus spp by thiobarbituric acid(TBA) assay have been shown to be significantly differed depending on the strains(P>0.01). Intracellular cell free extracts of L. acidophilus ATCC4356, L. casei HY2782, and strains of Bacillus coacillus revealed a significantly intensive inhibitory activity in the linoleic acid peroxidation reactions. Spearmans' rand correlation between inhibitory activity on linoleic acid peroxidation and cellular GSH levels of Lactobacillus spp was analysed and the correlation quotient was 0.65 which means a significant positive correlation.
