In recent years, gonorrhea has been pandemic and remains one of the most common STDs in the world, especially in developing countries. For the detection of a more effective therapeutic regimen and assessing the prevalence of Penicillinase Producing Neisseria gonorrhoeae(PPNG), we have been trying to study the patients who have visited the Venereal Disease Clinic of Choong-Ku Public Health Center in Seoul since 1980 by menas of the chromogenic cephalosporin method. In 1998, 93 strians of N. genorrhoeae were isolated, among which 60(64.5%) were PPNG. The prevalence of PPNG in Seoul, which had been decreased to 39% in 1996 after a peak of 74.3% in 1993, is increased to 64.5% in 1998.

과립상 세포종은 Schwann 세포 기원으로 생각되며 인체에 비교적 드물게 발생한다. 과립상 세포종은 전신 어느 곳에서나 발견될 수 있으나 주로 혀, 구강, 피부 혹은 유방 등에서 호발하며 드물게 위장관에서 발견된다. 위장관에서는 식도에서 가장 호발하며 다음으로 위, 대장 순이다. 과립상 세포종은 대부분, 특히 위장관에서는 양성이며 소수의 악성 병변이 보고되었다. 이러한 이유와 함께 수술 전의 진단이 어렵기 때문에 과립상 세포종에 대한 근본적인 치료는 현재까지 외과적 절제술이다. 최근에 시도되는 치료방법들로는 내시경적 레이저 치료, 용종절제술, 내시경적 점막 절제술 등이 있다. 저자들은 상부 소화관 내시경검사를 시행하여 식도 과립상 세포종을 진단하고 내시경적 점막 절제술을 시행하여 합병증 없이 퇴원하여 현재 재발없이 경과 관찰중인 1례를 경험하였기에 보고하는 바이다. Granular cell tumors, which occur infrequently, are probably of Schwann cell origin. They can occur almost anywhere in the body but usually affect the tongue, oral cavity, skin, or breasts and are rarely found in the gastrointestinal tracts. The esophagus is the most frequent gastrointestinal site, followed by the stomach and the colon. Granular cell tumors are generally benign, especially in the gastrointestinal tract, some malignant lesions have been reported. For this reason, and also because preoperative diagnosis is difficult, the standard treatment for granular cell tumor has until now been surgical excision. In recent years, other therapeutic methods is endoscopic laser therapy (ELT), polypectiomy, endoscopic mucosal resection (EMR). We report a case of esophageal granular cell tumor which was diagnosed by an endoscopy and managed using an endoscopic mucosal resection without complication.
마이크로파 대역에서 실내 환경의 경로손실인자를 사용한 통계적 모델링

In this paper, indoor propagation characteristics are analyzed for various environments such as corridors, walls and corners at microwave band. In order to present the statistical model for indoor environments the loss factors of each case are obtained by linear regression analysis method with the function of logarithmic distance between transmitter and receiver. Comparisons of our predicted results to measurements indicate that improvements in accuracy over conventional statistical models are achieved.

This paper presents a method to identify the on-set of chatter by using the chatter frequency-spindle speed diagram for a milling spindle-workpiece system in face milling process. To this purpose, a new method using frequency response function is adopted for predicting both the chatter condition and chatter frequency. A chatter frequency-spindle speed diagram for various conditions is proposed and studied to diagnose the chatter. The experimental results show that the chatter frequency-spindle speed diagram is useful for diagnosis of the on-set of chatter vibration.

Conventional aerodynamic simulations have been carried out by using Supercomputer and over a hundred thousand grid points. It takes a long CPU time to get a result. So this method has been mainly used as a research and demonstration tool. In this paper a practical aerodynamic simulation for early phases of the automobile design is presented. CFD(Computational Fluid Dynamics) has been able to apply to industrial field in these days. CPU time is shortened and more fine-mesh can be calculated. This new method has been applied to the aerodynamic simulation system a designer has been able to carry out the practical simulation on early designing phase of an automobile.

The swine wastewater treatment were investigated by electro-activated sludge process combined with formative overlap biolayer(FOBL) activated-sludge process and electricity formative overlap biolayer(EFOBL) in sequence. Organic material is reacted between solution and electrode by oxidation-reduction potential. Fe^(3+) or Fe^(2+) ion isolated from both electric poles is used for coagulation and precipitation of suspended solid. The removal amount of COD is 42% as a most effective one at the 32℃ of solution temperature. To raise the temperature until 32℃, Iron electrodes needs 20V and tungsten electrode needs 15V. Swine wastewater has high concentration of organic material, which can be removed by coagulation. BOD, TSS removal efficiency obtained in the range of 39% to 82% by using a polymerized coagulant, containing lOO㎖/ℓ, 32%~80% by using Al_(2)(S0_(4))_(3), containing 0,4%, and 59%~89% using Ca(0H)_(2), containing 4%. BOD is removed up to 38.2% with 3 days of HRT in FOBL and BOD removal rate in activated sludge process using effluent of FOBL is about 66.7% with 4 days of HRT, 85% with 6 days of HRT, 90% with 8 days of HRT. 90~99% of BOD removal efficiency could be accomplished with 1 days of HRT in EFOBL. In the Electro Activated Sludge Process, Each removal rate of BOD, COD, SS, T-N, T-P is 90.5%, 89%, 94.5%, 64.1%, 68.3% with 8 days of HRT respectively. T-N, T-P are removed 66~75.4%, 68.5~77.9% with 10~12 days of HRT.

We install various model in test section of wind tunnel. With constant velocity, we give each variable distance and then take data from pressure holl by using Micro-Manometer and observe pressure difference of body's surface and see real-body flowtype by using smogwrite method with scanning point based on flow type's size. We connect pitot tube with travers. We see pressure difference of surrounding body moving travers up-down and see flow property accoding to pressure difference by using data here
