        In many applications researchers have been interested in implementation of Viterbi decoding algorithm for convolution codes. But it is problems that long constraint length codes need many storages and hardware implementation is complicated. In this paper, several stages of trellis diagram are integrated and this procedures are formulated into simple matrix operations. Also backtracking decoding procedures is eliminated. This algorithm is called a new Viterbi transform(VT). The number of the trellis search can be reduced using the VT. Because of local memory access, the storages can be taken in. Long constraint length codes can be decoded by combining the unit module processors.

      • Active and Teactive Power Control of a Doubly Excited Brushless Reluctance Machine for Wind Power Generation

        본 논문에서는 풍력발전용 브러쉬없는 2 중 여자 릴럭턴스기의 유.무효전력제어를 위해서 시스템 설계 및 구현방법을 나타내었다. 이를 위해 일정한 고정자 자속과 쌍방향성 인버터를 사용하고 이 시스템 제어를 위해서 모토롤라 DSP를 이용하였다. 또한 풍력발전시스템의 기동시 과전류 방지를 위해서 소프트 스타팅을 구현하였다. 2 차 dq축 고정자 전류를 제어하여 계통선에 연계된 1차 권선의 유.무효전력를 제어하였다. 본 시스템은 풍력발전시스템의 적용시 유.무효전력를 제어할 수 있어서 계통선의 역율조절을 할 수 있다. 그리고 고정자 2 차 주파수를 제어함으로써 풍속의 변화에 쉽게 적응할 수 있어 기존의 풍력발전기보다 더 우수한 시스템을 구현할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다. In this paper. the concept and implementation of active and reactive power control of a DEBRM for wind power generating system are presented. Stator flux orientation scheme is employed to achieve decoupled control of active and reactive power flow. A 2-hp DEBRM prototype system. with a DSP based controller and a bidirectional power converter. is built to verify the theoretical analysis. Computer simulation and labatorary experimental results are shown in excellent agreement.

      • 평방근 정보필터를 이용한 미지의 측정 바이어스를 갖는 시스템에 대한 적응추정기의 설계

        In this paper, we present an adaptive estimator for tracking of a maneuvering target containing unknown or randomly switching biased measurements using square root information filter(SRIF). The SRIF is employed instead of conventional Kalman filter since it exhibits more efficient features in handling the unknown measurements bias and improved numerical characteristics. Computer simulations for a system with unknown bias are carried out to show the adaptability and tracking performance of the proposed algorithm.

        Corrosion fatigue crack growth behaviors of Zinc coating steel, SGH41, in 3% NaCl aqueous solution was investigated with a hydraulic fatigue testing machine. A hydraulic fatigue test machine was manufactured using a personal computer, a proportional valve one, a hydraulic system. Corrosion fatigue crack growth rates of SGH41 is reduced than that of the uncoated steel by anti-corrosion effect of zinc. Paris rule, da/dN=C(ΔK)? is applied about the relation between the stress intensity factor range, ΔK, and crack growth rate, da/dN, of both the coated specimen and the uncoated one. Where the slope of the correlation, m, is 2.24 for the coated specimen and 3.66 for the uncoated one. The corrosion sensitivity, (da/dN)corr/(da/dN)air, of the coated specimen was smaller than that of the uncoated specimen.

      • 접선흐름 및 교차흐름 실관형 막모듈에서의 투과추출 특성

        The perstraction experiments of acetic acid, ethanol and phenol have been undertaken under various experimental conditions such as pressure difference changes, superficial velocity changes, and potting density changes in four system with different distribution coefficients. In these experiments tangential flow and cross flow hollow fiber modules potted with different hollow fiber were used. The mass transfer coefficients in organic and aqueous phases could be expressed in dimensionless form as functions of Reynolds number, Schmidt number and potting density. In perstraction of acetic acid and ethanol in MIBK-acetic acid-water system and TBP-ethanol-water system, the mass transfer resistance in membrane phase overrode that in organic and aqueous phases. In MIBK-phenol-water system, the mass transfer resistance in aqueous phase was dominant. In the case of using cross flow hollow fiber module, the mass transfer effect showed an enhancement over tangential flow hollow fiber mudule due to the reduction of both dead area and boundary layer resistance in aqueous phase. This was observed to be dominant in MIBK-phenol-water system, that in xylene-acetic acid-water system, respectively.

      • 해조류 용매별 추출물의 항돌연변이원성

        톳, 미역 및 다시마를 용매별로 추출하여 이들 추출물의 항돌연변이원성을 검색하였다. 톳 용매별 추출물의 MMS에 대한 항돌연변이 효과는 TA100 균주에서 헥산, 에탄올, 에칠에테르 추출물 순으로 높았고, TA102 균주에서 헥산, 에칠에테르, 에탄올 순으로 높았으나, 미역 및 다시마 추출물은 항돌연변이원성이 거의 없었다. ICR191에 대한 항돌연변이 효과는 시험된 모든 시료에 대한 에탄을 추출물이 높은 항돌연변이 효과를 나타내었고, 에칠에테르와 헥산 추출물은 물 추출물보다도 낮은 효과를 나타냈다. 그러나 톳 추출물은 시험된 모든 용매 추출물에서 60% 이상의 높은 항돌연변이 원성을 나타내어 ICR-191에 의해 유도되는 돌연변이 원성을 저해하는 물질이 수용성 및 비수용성에 걸쳐 다양함을 나타내었다. 한편, 미역, 다시마 및 톳 추출물의 sodium azide에 대한 항돌연변이원성은 없는 것으로 나타났다. Desmutagenic effects against methyl methanesulfonate(MMS)-, 2-methoxy-6-chloro-9-〔3-[2-chloroethyl〕aminopropylamino〕acridine(ICR191)- and sodium azide-induced mutations by the extracts from Hizikia fusiforme. Laminaria japonica and Undaria pinnatifida with different solvents were investigated. The solvent extracts from Hizikia fusiforme were the highest desmutagenic effect against MMS in n-hexane and against ICR191 in ethanol extract. but no against sodium azide in all solvent extracts tested. While the solvent extracts from Undaria pinnatifida and Laminaria japonica were the highest against ICR191 in ethanol extract. but no against sodium azide and MMS in all solvent extracts tested. Moreover. all the solvent extracts from Laminaria japonica were inhibited 60% or more ICR191-induced mutations.

      • 스트립라인 접합형 서큘레이터 설계

        In this paper, we analyze a junction-circulator used in RF system of mobile communications and find out ferrite medium which is playing a important role of circulator. Also we presented the electromagnetic field of circulator inside based on modal analysis method. Input impedance and scattering parameter of circulator are searched by χ/μ value which is decided the resonanent frequency and bandwidth. We designed the junction-circulator for 880㎒ and fabricated it. The experimental data for the designed circulator in 880㎒ frequency range agree well with the designed data.

      • Evolutionary Programming for Designing Independent Cells

        본 본문에서는 독립셀 설계를 하나의 0-1 Integer Programming 모델이 개발되었다. 모델은 대안적인 공정계획과 중복설계, 공정시간, 그리고 가용능력등과 같은 현실적인 관련 파라메터들을 고려하여 설계되었다. 그리고 이 모델의 해결을 위해 유전알고리즘에 기초한 진화적 해결방법을 제시하였다. 이 방법은 기존의 방법에 비하여 빠른 시간내에 최적해를 구하였으며, 대규모의 문제에 대하여 효율적으로 적용 가능하였다. In this paper, an evolutionary programming approach is proposed for the designing independent cells in cellular manufacturing with alternative process plans and machine duplication consideration. Several manufacturing parameters such as production volume, machine capacity, processing time, number of cells and cell size are considered in the process. The model is formulated as a 0-1 integer programming and solved using genetic algorithm. It determines the machine cells, part families and process plan for each part simultaneously.

      • ATM망에서의 동적 트래픽 억제 알고리즘

        In this paper, a traffic enforcement algorithm is proposed to enhance the efficiency of traffic shaper in point of the cell conformance ratio with parameters negotiated during call connection setup in ATM network. This algorithm is based on Leaky Bucket but uses the limiting function of cell delay variations, which is controlled dynamically to absorb their propagation effects according to the input and output profiles. The simulation study shows its justifiability and its efficiency increasing for the traffic with higher burstiness. This allows more cells to be handled in the network and higher QOS can be provided to the users accordingly.
