일반논문 : 김응서(金應瑞)를 기억하는 방식과 그 문학적 형상화

임진왜란과 요동 深河전투에서 활약한 金應瑞는 다양한 기억이 공존하고 있는 인물이다. 『조선왕조실록』을 살펴보면, 임진왜란에서 降倭 유치와 관련된 전공이 많은 그는 조정에서 그에 대한 의견이 분분하였고, 그가 최대 활약상을 보인 평양성전투에 대해서 평양지역 기록에서는 계월향의 도움으로 적장을 죽인 인물로, 柳成龍의 『징비록』에서는 적군이 도망쳐도 알아차리지 못하는 인물로 나온다. 『조선왕조실록』을 비롯한 그에 대한 기억을 남긴 여러 텍스트에서 서로 엇갈린 기억이 공존하고 있는 것이다. 광해군 시기에 明의 요청으로 요동에서 後金과 전투를 벌인 김응서는 姜弘立과 함께 투항하게 된다. 투항 후 실록에 따르면, 그가 병사하였다 하기도 하고, 끝까지 충절을 잃지 않고 적정을 탐지하다 죽임을 당했다고 하기도 한다. 하지만 충절을 잃지 않고 마지막까지 고국에 정탐기록을 보내다 죽은 죽음은 평양쪽 기록들에 의해 점차 강화되게 된다. 이렇게 충절의 이미지로 강화된 그의 기억은 임진왜란을 기억하고 있는 문학작품인 『임진록』에도 영향을 미쳐, 심하전투에서 후금을 정벌하러 가는 모습과 동일한 모습으로 왜를 정벌하러 간다. 후금과의 전투에서의 기억이 거슬러 올라가 임진왜란을 표현하는 것으로, 그의 충절의 이미지는 고스란히 유지되며 서사화된다. 강화된 기억이 문학적 텍스트에까지 영향을 미쳐 그 기억은 더욱 확산되고 강화되어 우리의 기억 속에 고착화된다고 볼 수 있는 것이다. 김응서에 대한 이와 같은 엇갈린 기억들과 그 서사, 문학적 변모들은 그에 대한 다양한 기억이 어느 한 지점으로 귀결되고 다시 그것이 문학에 영향을 미치는 것으로, 사실에 대한 기억들과 기억의 서사, 기억의 문학적 형상화의 측면에서 흥미로운 시선을 제공해주고 있다. Fabrication and High-Temperature Compressive Behavior of Unique Multi-Sheet Stacked Block Ni–Cr–Al Metallic Foam

Large unique block Ni–Cr–Al superalloy foam was fabricated using a combination method of powder-alloying, multi-sheetstacking, and hot compression processes. Subsequently, the compressive properties and deformation behaviors of multi-sheetstacked block metallic foam were investigated from room temperature to 1073 K. The analysis of the resulting structuralcharacteristics of the block foam showed that the interfaces between the sheets have complex strut interactions, such ascontacted (deformed) and intersected struts. The relative density was measured as 2.93% for sheet foam and 4.90% for blockfoam. The compressive deformation of sheet and block Ni–Cr–Al foams showed the typical compressive stress–strain curvesof plastically deformable metallic foams regardless of foam type. However, different deformation behaviors in the plateauregions were detected based on the type of foam. It is noteworthy that the yield strength of block foam showed a relativelylower value than that of sheet foam, even though the block foam had higher relative density. The existence of unique interfacesin the multi-sheet stacked block foam may have affected strength and plastic deformation. Finally, distinct compressivebehaviors related to the structural and microstructural characteristics of block Ni–Cr–Al foam are discussed.

A New Sesame Variety, “Kangbaek” with Disease Resistance, Lodging Tolerence and High Yield

A new sesame variety Kangbaek was developed from Yeongnam Agricultural Research Institute in 2004. Cros wasmade by lodging resistant SP9003-3 line to the F1with high yielding capacity, folowed by pedigree selection, yield test and RYT by the sesame breeding team at the National Insti-tute of Crop Science up to 2003. The variety showed higher disease resistance, especially phytophothra disease, and lodging resis-respectively. It's 1000 grains weight was about 2.54 g indicating 0.03 g heavier than that of Yangbaekkae, and it's oil content wasabout 52%. Kangbaek also contained total 7.65mg/g of such lignans as sesamin and sesamolin. The average yield of Kang-baek was 82 kg per 10a at the national-wide regional performance.

중등학교 현장 물리교육의 현황과 개선방안

To investigete the obstacles of developing physics education in secondary schools and the countermeasure in present situtation, I distributed subject - description style answer sheets to middle & high school teachers in Cheju, which consist of 28 detail subjects under the big 8 themes. The recovery rate is 75%, and now I'm describing the result. According to the themes, total frequency is like this : Derection of Physics Leaming(412), Administration of Physics Facilities and Other Elements(298), Administration of Physics Education(268), Contents of Text( 183), Events of Science(163), Guiding of Students(l23), Grade and Evaluation of Students(101), 6th Education Cumculum(86). It suggests as the improvement that experiment training for teachers be reinforced, programs about new physicse teaching menthod be introduced, teachers try to motivate the students in class, teaching material for students?advanced learning be developed, usage of teaching material be presented, qualified experiment assistant be arranged and no less than two laboratories be provided by school unit and hours of teaching on physics teacher lessen. Besides, science events need to be held for every student by school unit, which should be eximined about when and how they would be he held.

<P>On page 5433, Yong‐Young Noh, Antonio Facchetti, Kang‐Jun Baeg, and co‐workers report that high performance ambipolar complementary inverters and ring oscillators are provided by a remarkable enhancement of both hole injection and transport for n‐channel dominant N2200 OFETs. The significant enhancement of hole mobility in N2200 OTFTs is attributed to the strong dipoles in fluorinated high‐k gate dielectric blend of P(VDF‐TrFE):PMMA. </P>

재발 또는 불응성 비호즈킨 림프종 환자에서 CDME 구제항암화학요법 후 고용량 항암화학요법 및 자가말초혈액 조혈모세포이식의 효과

Background and objectives : The long-term survival in patients with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma (NHL) after conventional dose chemotherapy is about 35% and the rest of the patients tend to have relapse. So, in relapsed or refractory NHL, we compared the outcome of patients undergoing high-dose chemotherapy with autologous peripheral blood stem cell transplantation(APBSCT) with only salvage chemotherapy of cisplatin, dexamethasone, mitoxantrone, and etoposide(CDME). Materials and methods : From June 1993 to December 1999, 25 patients with relapsed or resistant NHL were treated with CDME regimen as salvage chemotherapy. Twelve patients were received four cycles of CDME chemotherapy, and 13 patients were received high-dose chemotherapy with APBSCT following two cycles of CDME chemotherapy. Results : The median follow-up duration was 12.8 months(range:4-68). The overall response rate was 41.7% (complete response rate 25%, partial response rate 16.7%) in 12 patients with CDME only. Thirteen patients who were treated with high-dose chemotherapy with APBSCT achieved 61.5% complete response rate and 15.4% partial response rate, with an overall response rate of 76.9%. The estimated 3-year progression-free survival rate was significantly higher among patients who received high-dose therapy than patients who received CDME only(41.5% vs 20.0%, p<0.05). And, 3-year overall survival rate was significantly higher among patients who received high-dose therapy(51.3% vs 25.0%, p <0.05). Conclusions : In relapsed or refractory NHL, CDME chemotherapy is an effective salvage chemotherapy and allow peripheral blood stem cell collection. Also, high-dose chemotherapy with APBSCT following CDME is superior to CDME salvage chemotherapy only.

Blockers of renin-angiotensin system(RAS) including ACE inhibitor or ARB are one of the most frequently prescribed medications for the treatment of hypertension, heart failure and proteinuria. One of the major side effects of these RAS blockers is the deterioration of renal function, mainly due to a reduction of intraglomerular pressure. Therefore, close monitoring of renal function is recommended when RAS blockers are initially prescribed, especially for the patients with impaired renal function. We report a patient who was transferred to our hospital due to the sudden development of oliguria and dyspnea after treatment for hypertension with ACEi and ARB. She was finally diagnosed as RAS blocker-induced acute renal failure with pulmonary edema complicated on congenital solitary kidney. After hemodialysis and conservative treatment, her renal function was recovered with maintenance of normal urine output. Conclusion:This case highlights the necessity of the functional and structural evaluation of kidney to prevent the serious complication such as acute renal failure before the administration of ACEi and/or ARB.

Cyclophosphamide가 Mouse 肝臟의 燐酸鹽 分解酵素 活性에 미치는 影響

Cyclophosphamide which is known as a widely used anticancer drug is very effective against a lymphosarcoma, leukemia and nonneoplasmic diseases such as rhematoid arthritis and lupus erythematosus. Cyclophosphamide acts on a DNA as a alkylating agent inhibiting the cell division and growth. And it is also known that metabolites of cyclophosphamide damages the liver cell. The authors have, therefore, undertaken to pursue the effect of cyclophosphamide on the phosphatase activity in the liver. Albino mice, DDY strain, weighing 20gm were used as experimental animals. The experimental animals were administered daily with 200gm of cyclophosphamide per kilogram of body weight were divided into 7-day treatment group and 10-day treatment group. The specimens obtained from the liver were fixed with 10% formalin and sliced at 16 μm thickness in a frozen cryostat. The activity of alkaline phosphatase was observed by the Gomori's method and activity of the adenosine triphosphatase was observed by the Wachstein-Meisel's method for histochemical study. The results were as follows. 1. Alkaline phosphatase activity of the hepatic lobule was moderately positive at the periportal and intermediate zone of the 7-day cyclophosphamide treatment group and trace activity of alkaline phosphatase was observed at the periportal and intermediate zone of the 10-day cyclophosphamide treatment group. 2. Adenosine triphosphatase activity of the hepatic lobule was moderately positive at the periportal, central and intermediate zone of the 7-day cyclophosphamide treatment group and weakly positive at the central and periportal zone of the 10-day cyclophosphamide treatment group.
