        추황배(Pyrus pyrifolia Nakai cv. Chuhwangbae) 과피로부터 1종의 Sterol과 3종의 배당체 화합물의 단리·동정

        본 연구에서는 배의 유용성 증명을 위한 일환으로 배의 화학성분을 분자수준에서 밝히고자 하였다. 이에 배 과피 MeOH 추출물을 용매분획하여 얻은 EtOAc-산성 분획과 EtOAc-중성분획을 대상으로 Sephadex LH-20, silica gel, 그리고 ODS colmn chromatography와 HPLC를 이용하여 정제 및 단리하였다. 그 결과, EtOAc-산성 분획과 EtOAc-중성 분획으로부터 각각 2종씩의 화합물을 단리하였다. 단리된 화합물 1-4는 1H- 및 13C-NMR 분석을 통하여 각각 (S)-(+)-2-cis-abscisic acid O-β-D-glucopyranosyl ester (화합물 1), 1-[4-O-β-D-glucopyranosyl]phenyl ethanone(piceoside, 화합물 2), β-sitosterol (화합물 3), 그리고 β-sitosteryl 3-O-β-D-glucopyranoside (화합물 4)로 동정되었다. 단리된 3종의 배당체 화합물(화합물 1, 2, 4)들은 본 연구에 의해 배로부터 처음 동정되었으며, 화합물 3은 추황배로부터 처음 동정되었다. 본 연구결과가 배 함유 성분연구는 물론 배의 기능성 해명 연구에도 추후 중요한 기초자료로 활용되길 기대한다. We isolated and identified antioxidants from acidic and neutral ethyl acetate fractions of the peel of pear (Pyrus pyrifolia N. cv. Chuhwangbae). We isolated 4 compounds from the methanol extract, by using 3 different types of column chromatography (Sephadex LH-20, silica gel, and octadecylsilane) and preparative HPLC. We identified the isolated compounds as (S)-(+)-2-cis-abscisic acid O-β-D-glucopyranosyl ester (compound 1), 1-[4-O-β-D-glucopyranosyl]phenyl ethanone (picroside, compound 2), β-sitosterol (compound 3), and β-sitosteryl 3-O-β-D-glucopyranoside (compound 4) by nuclear magnetic resonance analysis. We are the first to report the identification of compounds 1, 2, and 4 from pear.

      • 국내 프로야구 구단의 브랜드 이미지 강화전략

        The purpose of this study was to investigate the brand image of Korean professional baseball clubs in the spectators view through brand image scale of the previous study and further to provide a direction in reinforcement strategy of brand image of professional baseball clubs. The target of this research were people who attended the games in four home stadiums consisting of LG Twins, Doo San Bears, SK Wyverns, and Hyun Dai Unicorns during the 2004 Korean professional baseball season 370 samples were used in this analysis. Four domains and ten sub domains from "A study of the generalization of sports brand image scale" by Hong Seok-Pyo(2002) and reconstructed questionnaires of "A study of an effect of brand image on product consumption" by Kim, Ku-Nam(2000) were used as research materials. Factor analysis and reliability test used to confirm the availability of the scale. The results from descriptive statistics, analysis of variance by using SPSS WIN 11.0 are as following. First, results indicated that brand image for each baseball club divided into several sub domains and its sub facet. LG Twins has excitement, competence as sub domain and refreshing, modernity as its facet for its brand image. SK Wyverns has excitement, sincerity as sub domain and refreshing, ruggedness as its facet. Hyun Dai Unicorns has sincerity, competence as sub domain and reliability, successful as its facet. Doo San Bears has excitement, ruggedness as sub domain and ruggedness, toughness for its facet. Second, the peat impacts on developing brand image for each professional baseball club are shown as team formation factor, game style factor, and stadium factor except stadium factor of Hyun Dai Unicorns. In conclusion, A direction in reinforcement strategy of brand image are deduced as following. First, brand personality should be applied. Second, each professional baseball dub needs constant application of brand image. Consistency of brand image and brand image making movement in the baseball clubs and an application of Integrate Marketing Communication(IMC) and be applied in reinforcing brand image.

      • 제초제(propanil. butachlor) 저항성 잡초 선발 방법에 관한 연구

        This study was conducted to develop a simple selection method for herbicide-resistance weeds. Two methods, designated "seedling method" and "stem node method" were employed for screening of barnyardgrass against propanil and butachlor. In the seedling method, shoot and root growth of barnyardgrass were significantly inhibited at quarter of the recommended herbicide rate, while in the stem node method, the similar inhibition was obtained at half of the recommended rate. Thus, it was concluded that the seedling method is more simple and quick method to evaluate response of barnyardgrass to propanil and butachlor compared to stem node method.

        단백질 간의 상호작용에 대한 연구는 생물학적 프로세스를 이해하기 위해 중요한 부분이다. 이 논문의 목적은 생물학적 내용을 담고 있는 연구논문으로부터 단백질간의 상호작용을 추출하는 확장성을 가진 텍스트 마이닝 기법을 제안하는데 있다. 단백질 간의 상호작용에 대한 정보는 주로 생명과학 관련 연구논문에 존재하지만 컴퓨터로 자동으로 처리하여 상호작용에 관한 정보를 추출할 수 있기 위해서는 텍스트 마이닝 기술이 적용되어야 한다. 바이오 텍스트 마이닝에서 대두되고 있는 중요한 쟁점은 대용량의 연구논문에서 필요한 정보를 어떻게 효율적으로 정확하게 추출할 것인가에 대한 내용이다. 또한, 관심이 있는 단백질의 종류나 상호작용에 대한 관련성을 나타내는 문장내 패턴의 다양성을 수용하기 위하여 시스템의 확장성을 높이는 것도 소프트웨어 공학적인 측면에서 중요한 이슈이다. The research for protein-protein interactions remains an important part to understand the biological process. This paper suggests a text mining technique with extensibility, which extracts the protein-protein interaction from the biological research papers. There is much information related to the protein-protein interactions in plentiful biological research papers, we need the text-mining technique to extract the protein-protein interaction information automatically and rapidly. The main issue in bio-textming lays how to extract the necessary information efficiently and correctly. In addition, it is a significant issue to accommodate the concerned kinds of proteins and the diversity patterns in sentences with the relevance about protein-protein interactions in order to increase system extendibility in aspect of software engineering.

        Locoregional recurrence is the most common type of recurrence in surgical operation of gastric adenocarcinoma, and peritoneal dissemination is one of the most difficult problems in advanced gastric adenocarcinoma treatment. Because the peritoneal cavity is the most common site of the first recurrence after gastric cancer resection, intraperitoneal chemotherapy seems a logical choice for cancer chemotherapy. In this study, Mitomycin C (MMC)-activated charcoal (CH)-alginate (ALG) beads were prepared by the mixtures of CH particles adsorbed with MMC as an anti-cancer drug and aqueous alginate solution. The alginate is recognized as biodegradable, nontoxic, and biocompatible. The release of MMC from the beads in 0.1 M Tris buffer was stable and continuous until about 1 week. The MMC-CH-ALG beads can be applied in the peritoneal cavity for intraperitoneal chemotherapy since they provide a good adhesiveness on the tissue and controlled release pattern of the drugs.

        모형식품의 해동방법에 따른 물성변화

        Optimal thawing conditions of frozen model foods containing protein and starch were investigated at various thawing conditions such as room temperature, hot air, and microwave heating. Hardness of the frozen model foods was getting higher as the water content increased. Thawing rates at room temperature, hot-air heating at 50℃, and microwave heating were 0.02Kg/min, 0.08Kg/min. 0.01 Kg/min. respectively. Final thawing time was as follows; control 60min, 5% sucrose: 50min, 10% sucrose: 30 min, 5% NaCl: 30 min. Total drip loss was as follows; room temperature thawing: 22.5%, 200W microwave thawing 1.3%, and 50℃ hot air thawing nearly negligible.

      • 精密測定 計器用 Stainless Steel의 加工과 熱處理에 따른 諸性質의 變化

        In order to study the change of properties in Fe-13.3% Cr-0.37%C martensitic stainless steel for precision measuring gauge with the various heat treatments and plastic working, the change of micostructure, hardness and wear resistance were investigated. The results obtained in this experiment are as follows: 1. The high Cr alloy of 13% Cr martensitic stainless steel has selfhardening property which is not remarkably affected by the cooling rate, and also the hardness of this alloy was the highest value in the case of oil quenching after austenitized at 1000℃ for 1/3 hour. 2. The hardness and the corrosion resistance of low temperature tempering treatment are superior to high temperature tempering, especially the hardness of 200℃×2hr tempering treatment are superior to high temperature tempering, especially the hardness of 200℃×2hr tempering treatment in the case of air cooling after austenitized at 1050℃ for 1/3 hour is excellent. 3. The amount of retained austenite hardly existed in the case of air cooling after austenitized at 1000℃ for 1/3 hour, and the increase of hardeness with subzero-treatment is very small. 4. The property of hot working is good but the property of cold working is poor. And then, the secondary hardening with reheating treatment appeared at 400~450℃. 5. Bainite trasformation was occurred in the isothermal heat treatment, and the hardness and the wear resistnace of marquenching treatment are higher than martempering treatment. 6. The elevation of the wear resistance is proportional to the increase of the hardness obtained from the various heat treatments, especially the wear resistance of 200℃×2hr tempering treatment after air cooling is effective than after oil quenching and the wear mechanism is mainly a grinding abrasion.

      • 난소절제후 Estrogen을 투여한 흰쥐 대동맥에서 Protein Kinase C-α와 Fas 발현의 변화

        Estrogen is believed to decrease coronary artery disease. Protein kinase C-α(PKCα)appear to be important in signal conduction pathways. Estrogen treatment increases catalytic activity of PKCα,and activation of PKCαcan modulate estrogen receptor levels and responsiveness. And it was reported that activation of PKC can protect cells from apoptosis induced by Fas ligation. But the beneficial effect of estrogen on PKCαwas not clearly demonstrated. The objective of this study was to evaluate the role of PKCαafter ovariectomy and estrogen therapy in rat aorta. The results were summarized as below: 1. The significant pathological changes were not observed in the rat aorta irrelevant to ovariectomy and estrogen therapy. 2. The expression of Fas was decreased in the aorta of estrogen-treated rats than that of ovariectomized rats without estrogen therapy. 3. Increased expression of PKCαwas more marked in the aprta of estrogen-treated rats than that of ovariectomized rat without estrogen therapy. In conclusion,PKCαmay be important in signal conduation pathway on the effect of estrogen. Activation of PKCαby estrogen reduced Fas expression, suggesting that PKCαactivation may play a role in protection against atherasclerosis. Further studies are needed to elucidate the role of PKCαafter estrogen therapy.
