유아의 셀프 리더십에 대한 어머니의 언어통제유형 및 유아 정서지능의 영향 분석 = A Study on the Factors Influencing Young Children`s Self-Leadership: Mother`s Verbal Control Style and Mediated Effects of Children`s Emotional Intelligence

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to investigate the influence of mother`s verbal control style and mediated effects of children`s emotional intelligence on children`s self-Leadership. The participants of this study was 314 five years old children and their mothers. The children`s self-leadership, mother`s verbal control style, and children`s emotional intelligence were measured by the questionnaires developed and modified by Lee(2007), Doh(1997), Lee, Lee, & Shin(2000), respectively. The result of this study showed that mostly mother`s verbal control style and children`s emotional intelligence were significantly related with children`s self-leadership. Specifically, children`s self-leadership were negatively related with mother`s imperative and position-oriented verbal control style and positively related with mother`s person-oriented verbal control and children`s emotional intelligence. Also, sub-factors of children`s emotional intelligence served as a partial positive mediator to the effect of associate mother`s verbal control style in children`s self-leadership. Accordingly, educators for young children need to develop the ways for supporting children`s self-leadership in terms of providing effective programs for mothers to use more person-oriented verbal control in their interaction with their children. And, the result of this study could provide insight on children`s self-leadership to early childhood teachers.
