N/A Comparative analytic review on clinical, endoscopic and histopathological findings was done in 13 cases of young age (under 29), 446 cases of mid age (30~69) and 39 cases of old age (above 70) stomach cancer who were visited Department of Internal Medicine of Masan Koryo General Hospital from March 1981 to July 1985. The following results were obtained: The peak of age incidence was the 5th decade amounting to 36.8%. The ratio between male and female was 2.6:1. The main chief complaint of each group was epigastric pain and it was followed by epigastric fullness. The most patient had the duration of symptom from 3 months to 6 months. For old-age group, mid-age group, major site of lesion in the antrum, meanwhile body for young-age group. The most frequent type of gastric cancer was type III in each group by Borrmanns classification. For each group, adenocarcinoma was major cases in the view of histopathological findings, and incidence of well differentiated type adenocarcinoma were lower in young-age group than others.
Superconducting MgB2 Wire Drawing Considering Anisotropic Hardening Behavior and Hydrostatic Effect

Numerical modeling was conducted to investigate the deformation behavior of powder mixture during multi-pass drawingprocesses for multi-filamentary MgB2wire. A modified Drucker-Prager Cap (DPC) model with an elliptical cap surface usingthe new material characterization method was developed to capture the anisotropic hardening behavior and hydrostatic effectof the powder mixture. A number of uniaxial die compaction, cold isostatic pressing, diametrical compression, and uniaxialcompression tests were conducted using different powder densities to characterize the modified DPC model. A commercialfinite element software ABAQUS with a user subroutine was used to simulate the drawing of the MgB2wire. The densityand area fraction of the powder mixture during the wire-drawing process were verified with experimental results. The differencein packing density at the inner and outer filaments of the MgB2wire was successfully captured by simulation. Inaddition, the effect of the initial packing density on the superconducting properties of MgB2wire was numerically studied. It is shown that the increase in the superconducting area, which results from a high initial packing density, should be moreeffective compared to the increase in the grain connectivity in enhancing the critical current properties for the MgB2wirewhen the final packing density is saturated after a number of drawing processes.

2015년부터 2016년 동안 우리나라 공항에서는 수입검역과정에서 금지식물로 폐기된 실적이 17만건에 달하며 그중 인천국제공항은 12만건 이상으로 가장 높다(농림축산검역본부 PIS, 2016). 인천국제공항을 통해 반입되는 휴대 금지식물에서 금지해충(과실파리류, 나방류 등) 유입 가능성이 높음에도 불구하고, 금지식물에서 발생하는 해충에 대한 객관적인 정보가 부족한 실점이다. 이에 2018년 1월부터 2018년 6월까지 인천공항으로 반입되는 휴대식물 및 해충조사를 실시하였다. 총 27,948건의 휴대식물에서 검사를 진행하였으며 98국가에서 316 품목을 조사하였다. 그 결과, 91건의 휴대식물에서 해충이 검출되었으며, 익은 바나나 14건, 망고스틴12건, 구아바 12건, 망고 11건, 람부탄 9건, 슈가애플 8건, 파일애플 4건, 고추 3건 등에서 검출되었다. 반입국가는 베트남이 47건으로 가장 많았으며 태국, 필리핀, 인도네시아 순이였다. 검출해충은 깍지벌레과와 가루깍지벌레과가 포함된 노린재목이 76건으로 가장 많았으며, 파리목은 11건이며 그중 오리엔탈과실파리가 1건이고, 개미류가 8건을 차지하였다.
Modeling the Cardiac Na+/H+ Exchanger Based on Major Experimental Findings

Na+-H+ exchanger (NHE) is the main acid extruder in cardiac myocytes. We review the experimental findings of ion-dependency of NHE activity, and the mathematical modeling developed so far. In spite of extensive investigation, many unsolved questions still remain. We consider that the precise description of NHE activity with mathematical models elucidates the roles of NHE in maintaining ionic homeostasis, especially under pathophysiological conditions.
Design of Automatic Inspection System for Maintenance of Unmanned Security Facility

Access to public facilities such as substations, dams and railroads has been very strict and unmanned surveillance equipment has been introduced and operated recently due to the development of ICT technology and the government"s policy of reducing cost. However, if an unmanned surveillance system fails, surveillance space, information leakage caused by intruders, and damage to facilities may occur. Also, it is necessary to check periodical visit by the manager in order to check the surveillance facilities, which causes additional management costs. In order to solve this problem, we designed a system to check the operation status of the unmanned monitoring facility in real time, attempt to recover automatically when a problem occurs, and notify the administrator of the problem. The designed system consists of an NVR that receives and judges information such as image, sound, and lighting condition, and a control device that detects and restores the state of the unmanned monitoring facility. The system proposed in this paper is expected to contribute to the improvement of the economic efficiency due to the minimization of surveillance space due to the failure of the unmanned monitoring facility and the reduction of the inspection cost.

When sensors were fabricated without a conductive layer, metal wires or pin headers were mainly used to receive the electrical signals from the sensor material. By fabricating the conductive layer, the degree of freedom in sensor design is increased and geometrically complex shapes can be manufactured. In this study, we built the electrical circuit for the flexible pressure sensor by arranging the multi-walled carbon nanotubes/polydimethylsiloxane composite and the conductive layer made from silver paste. That is, using DIW technology, the sensor material and conductive layer were formed into a series circuit and a parallel circuit, respectively, and the change in electrical resistance according to pressure was measured. As a result of experiments based on pressure, when the two materials were configured in a series circuit, they responded quickly to pressure at 35 ms. The changed resistance remained stable while pressure was applied. Consequently, the developed series circuit flexible pressure sensor demonstrates potential for applications involving instantaneous force or steadily increasing pressure measurement.
