        The purpose of this study was to analyze the study-trend of papers about early childhood education : The Journal of Educational Research, Korean Journal of Child Studies, Korea Journal of Child Care and Education, The Journal of Korea Early Childhood Education, The Journal of Korea Open Association for Early Childhood Education. After substances of treatises of 1460 pieces are analyzed, to analyze the study-method. We did systematic sampling of 20% from the total 289 pieces of study-connected. The precedent study which referred to the substance analysis standard and the study-method analysis standard analyzed the study's trend. For maintaining this study's objectivity, data analysis method was coincided according the investigator analyzed and reviewed data substance together with an early childhood education expert.

        In order to determine the frequency of physical illness in schizophrenia, 107 schizophrenics were assessed with physical exam and routine laboratoy test. The results were as follows 1) Among the total number of 107 schizophrenics, 31 had the physical illness(29%), and among the schizophrenics with physical illness, female outnumbered male at the rate of 17:14. 2) There was no difference between schizophrenics with physical illness and schizophrenics without physical illness in demographic characteristics. 3) Classification of physical illness were disease of skin 7 (22.6%), musculoskeletal system 5(16. 1%), ENT(ear nose throat) 3(9.7%), endocrine system 3(9.7%), circulatory system 2(6.5%), respiratory system 2(6.5%), digestive system 1(3.2%), genitourinary system 1(3.2%), infection 1(3. 2%), eye 1(3.2%) respectively Authors suggest that physical exam and routine laboratory test should be done for all hospitalized psychiatric patients

      • 고려 홍삼 다당체가 암독소 호르몬-L의 체지방 분해작용에 미치는 영향

        This study was devised to observe the inhibitory effects of 2 kinds of ethanol treatment precipitate (crude acidic polysaccharide) from Korean red ginseng and Chinese red ginseng on a lipolytic action of Toxohormone-L which has been known as lipolytic and anorexigenic factors. Toxohormone-L was obtaind by partial purification of the ascites fluid from mice which had been inoculated with sarcoma-180. The yields of crude acidic polysaccharide from Korean red ginseng and Chinese red ginseng were 63.5 and 61,3% respectively, indicating that the Korean red ginseng was the higher. In vitro. the total inhibitory activity per gram of ginseng material were 4,928 and 4,254 unit respectively, also indicating that the Korean red gingeng was the better effective in the inhibition of the lipolysis. In vivo, once in 3 days injection of the red ginseng polysaccharide extracts(40㎎/㎖ in saline soln.) with 0.64 g/㎏ of body weight to the mice bearing sarcoma-180 was not effective against the extension of their life span. On the contrary, the life span of the mice were rather shotened by the injection of Chinese red ginseng polysaccharide extract, as compared to that of control. But body weight gain of sarcoma-180 bearing mice decreased significantly by administration of Korean red ginseng polysaccharide extract compared to those of the control or other red ginseng treated group (P<0.05).

      • 고려 홍삼이 암독소 호르몬-L의 체지방 분해작용에 미치는 영향

        This study was devised to observe the inhibitory effects of 3 kinds of petroleum ether extracts (percolation by petroleum ether), methanol treatment residue material (percolation by methanol) and ethanol treatment precipitate (crude acidic polysaccharide) from Korean red ginseng, Chinese red ginseng and American white ginseng on a lipolytic action of Toxohormone - L which has been known as lipolytic and anorexigenic factors. Toxohormone - L was obtained by partial purification of the ascites fluid from mice which has been inoculated with sarcoma -180. The yields of crude acidic polysaccharide from Korea red ginseng, Chinese red ginseng and American white ginseng were 63.5, 61.3 and 60.4% respectively, indicating that the Korean red ginseng was the highest. In vitro, at the concentration of 2㎍/㎖, the total inhibitory activity of lipolysis by the petroleum ether extract of Korean red ginseng, Chinese red ginseng and American white ginseng per gram of ginseng material were 18, 12 and 13 unit respectively, indicating that the Korean red ginseng was the most effective in the inhibition of the lipolysis. And then at the concentration of 500㎍/㎖, the inhibition rate of lipolysis by the methanol treatment residue material of Korean red ginseng, Chinese red ginseng and American white ginseng were 36.8, 32.6 and 29.5% respectively, and that of lipolysis by the crude acidic polysaccharide of each ginseng were 38.8, 34.7 and 37.8% respectively, and the total inhibitory activity per gram of ginseng material were 4.9×10³, 4.3×10³ and 4.6×10³unit respectively, also indicating that the Korean red ginseng was the most effective in the inhibition of the lipolysis.

      • 人蔘의 Polyacetylene 成分이 肝癌(HepG2) 및 L929 細胞增殖에 미치는 영향 硏究

        This study was devised to observe the cytotoxic activity of petroleum ether extract of panax ginseng roots (crude extract) and its partially purified fraction from silicic acid column chromatography (7 : 3 fraction) against Hep G2, L 929 and VERO 76 cells, in vitro. The composition and its content ratios of fatty acid in the crude extract and 7 : 3 fraction were determined to estimate the relationship between the fatty acid composion and the cytotoxic activity. Each cell line was cultured in medium containing serial concentration of the crude extract or 7 : 3 fraction for 72 hours. And then the growth rate, dose-response and size distribution of each cell were determined. The results obtained are summarized as follows, 1. The doubling times of Hep G2, L929 and VERO 76 cells were about 44, 32 and 25 hours, respectively. 2. The growth inhibition rates of Hep G2, L 929 and VERO 76 cells were gradually increased in proportion to the concentration of the crude extract or 7 : 3 fraction in culture medium. 3. The cytotoxic activity of the 7 : 3 fraction on the each cell line was more potent than that of the crude extract. 4. The growth inhibition rates of each cell by crude or 7 : 3 fraction was greatest in the L929 cell, next in the Hep G2 cell and that of VERO 76 was lower than that of L929 and Hep G2. 5. The numbers and size of Hep G2 and L929 cells cultured in medium containing crude or 7 : 3 fraction were significantly reduced and deformed, compared with control group. 6. The content of n-3 fatty acid In the crude extract or 7 : 3 fraction was about 4.2%. In view of the results, it could be suggested that inhibitory effects of the crude extract against cancer cell growth were increased by partially purifieation, the effects on the cancer cell were stronger than that of the normal cell, and related with n-3 fatty acids.

      • 단무지 공장에서 발생한 질식 사고의 원인과 방사선학적 소견: 중례보고 및 가스분석 결과

        목 적:단무지 공장에서 질식사고를 일으켰던 가스의 종류를 알아내고, 이러한 가스중독의 방서선학적 소견을 소개하기 위하여 본 연구를 하였다. 대상 및 방법:단무지 공장에서 발생한 질식 사고자 3예중 생존자 1예를 대상으로 단순흥부X-선검사와 CT 소견을 분석하였으며, 가스의 종류를 알아내기 위하여 단무지를 유리병에 넣어 발생된 가스를 가스크로마토그래픽을 이용하여 분석하였다. 결 과:단무지 공장에서 발생한 질식사고자중 생존한 1명의 방사선학적 검사에서 신속히 호전되는 폐경결(consolidation)을 볼 수 있었으며 이는 폐부종의 소견임을 알 수 있었다. 협기성 상태에서 단무지를 담은 유리병의 상층부 가스를 실험 분석한 결과 이산화탄소, 에칠알코올이 다량으로 검출되었으나 독성가스는 주로 황화수소이였다. 결 론:단무지 공장의 질식 사고자에서 폐방사선학적 소견은 폐경결을 보이는 폐부증으로서 이는 실험을 통해 단무지에서 발생되는 유독가스인 황화수소 때문임을 입증하였다. Purpose: To identify the main toxic gas released from salted radish in rice bran(Dan-M-Ji) and to introduce the radiological findings of the patient who was exposed to the gas. Materials and Methods: Chest radiographs and CT scans of one survivor among three men who were exposed to the gas from Dan-Mu-Ji were reviewed. Gas obtained from the closed bottle containing Dan-Mu-Ji was analized by using the gas chromatography. Results: The radiographlc examinations of the survivor were suggestive of pulmonary edema with it's rapidly improving consolidations in both lung. The headapace gas within the bottle containing Dan-Mu-Ji was mainly composed with carbon dioxide, ethyl alcohol and hydrogen sulfide, of which hydrogen sulfide was considered the main toxic gas released. Conclusion: Under the anaerobic condition, Dan-Mu-Ji released toxic hydrogen sulfide. Inhalation of hydrogen sulfide might produce non-cardiogenic pulmonary edema.

        All kinds of crops including foods, feeds and turf grasses are damaged frequently by various environmental stresses such as drought, salt, cold, and high temperature, which cause the loss of agronomic productivity. Plants cannot escape from environmental stresses. Thus, plants were evolving in the direction of overcoming environmental stresses. Some genes such as ARF, AB13, NAC, HSF, WRKY respond to environmental stresses have been reported in plants. The genes play a role in stress responses pathway of plants, the transcription factor in response to environmental stress. Typically OsWRKY76 increased the low temperature resistance, AtWRKY28 been reported to be related to the environmental stress. Zoysiagrass (Zoysia japonica Steud.) is used primarily useful for the garden or the golf course. But WRKY, environmental stress-related gene, is unknown in zoysiagrass. Here, we report the analyzing of WRKY genes and response by cold, dehydration and senescence stresses in zoysiagrass. Three WRKY gene (ZjWRKY3, ZjWRKY5, ZjWRKY7) cloning from zoysiagrass. It was transformed in arabidopsis and zoysiagrass. It will be a function analysis.

        Antitumor and Immunopotentiating Effects of Manda Enzyme

        This study was to evaluate the antitumor and immunopotentiation effects of Manda Enzyme (ME). Oral administration of ME (0.2ml/mouse) to tumor bearing mice significantly prolonged survival rate compared to the control group with the prolongation ratio of 40%. The inhibition ratios for the first and the second experiments were 51.8% and 26.4%, respectively. Only the spleen index was significantly increased in the MEF-treated group, but not in the control group. Gamma globulin level of the MEF-treated group was elevated when mice were injected with sarcoma-180 cells on the left groin. Activities of natural killer (NK) and lymphokineactivated killer (LAK) cells were observed by $^{51}Cr-release$ method. Activities of NK cell against YAC-1 cells were significantly increased in the MEF treated group. And LAK cell activities against P815 cells were also significantly increased in the experimental group. These observations, therefore, suggest that ME may have an anticancer effect and immunopotentiating effect in vivo.

        Screening Study on Alcoholic Extracts of Korean Medicinal herbs for Antitumor Activity

        This study was devised to observe the cytotoxic activity of alcoholic extracts of some Korean medicinal herbs against murine leukemic lymphocyte (P_(388)) in vitro. The growth rate, dose-response and size distribution of P_(388) cells cultured in the medium with or without the each herb extract were determined, and also the effects of incubation time in the same medium were determined. The experimental results obtained are summarized as follows; 1) The doubling time of P38s cells in culture medium without adding any extract was 11 to 12 hours. 2) In the culture medium of Pisa cells, the cytotoxic activity (1 unit) of each extract, Pa-doo, Dae-geuk, kam-soo, won-hwa, La-bok-ja, Sam-neung, A-chool, Dae-Hwang, Hoi-hyang and Do-in was applicable to 0. 076, 0.032, 0. 137, 0.166, 0. 057, 0.206, 0.068, 0.050, 0.829 and 0.9㎎/㎖ of medium, respectively. 3) The inhibitory effect of each extract against the growth of P388 cells was increased according to the increase of concentration on each extract in the culture medium. 4) The numbers of the P388 cells were significantly decreased by incubation with each alcoholic extract for 9 to 12 hours. 5) The pattern of size distribution of P_(388) cells incubated with the each extract was significantly changed after 6 to 9 hours' incubation.
