네트워크 응용 프로그램을 개발하기 위해서는 Socket API를 많이 이용한다. Socket API를 이용해 정상적인 동작을 하는 것은 아주 쉽다. 그러나 실제 개발 과정에서 정상적인 상황이 아닌 여러 가지 비정상적인 오류에 처하게 됨에 따라 속수무책일 때가 많다. 따라서 본 논문에서 각 플랫폼별로 비정상적인 오류들의 사례 연구를 통하여 효율적인 응용시스템 개발에 도움을 주고자 한다.

In a previous study, we developed a new food additive as an egg yolk antibody (IgY) against carbohydrate digestion enzymes for the regulation of blood glucose level and weight control. The IgY delayed and decreased the increment of blood glucose level after administration of sucrose in human being by 30% in 20∼30 min. We also developed a lipase inhibitor as a water extract of two kinds of herb, Platycodon grandiflorum and Solanum melongena. Twenty three volunteers were subjected to the intake of the egg yolk IgY plus the herbal extracts for 50 days. In average, the treated subjects appeared to lose 1.96 ㎏ of body weight and 3.4 ㎏ of body fat mass during the treated period. Furthermore, Panniculus adiposus and breech size were significantly decreased during the experimental period. Above results suggested that the administration of the dietary additives composed of egg yolk IgY and natural herbal extract improve the obesity by the decrement of body weight and body fat mass.

The prevalence of sleep disorder is about 30% of the population. Common sleep disorders are insomnia, obstructive sleep apnea, narcolepsy, restless legs syndrome, rapid eye movement sleep behavior disorder and parasomnia. These sleep disorders lead various medical and mental complications. However, most sleep disorders are underdiagnosed and not treated appropriately. Sleep medicine is important for treating these sleep disorders and maintaining general healthy conditions. Specialized and comprehensive treatments for sleep disorder are important in sleep medicine.

Background: Due to the lack of rapid drug susceptibility test (DST) which determines the appropriate drug prescription for the TB patients, the drug resistant TB which threaten the world`s health such as multi drug-resistant (MDR) TB and extensively drug-resistant (XDR) TB are increasing. Methods: we invented a new chamber which makes a thin layer of agar mixture for rapid DST. Agarose was used for immobilizing the Mycobacterium tuberculosis (MTB) strain and 3D culture. Agarose in liquid state was mixed with MTB stock solution and the mixture was loaded in the MTB culture chamber. After solidifi cation of agarose mixture, the culture medium and drugs were supplied into the chamber. The medium and drugs were diffused into the agarose matrix and the growth of MTB was tracked by the time-lapse microscopic imaging method. The acquired images were analyzed using quantitative digital information about the growth of MTB and the DST results were provided. Results: we tested the 129 MTB strains including 27 PanS (all susceptible), 54 MDR and 48 XDR with the 4 fi rst-line TB drugs: isoniazid, rifampin, streptomycin and ethambutol. The DST results were compared with the conventional DST method with the Lowenstein-Jensen medium. There was no disagreement in 108 cases of PanS, 12 disagreements in 216 cases of MDR and 12 disagreements in 192 cases of XDR. The total disagreement rate was 4.9% in 516 cases. Conclusions: we could determine drug susceptibilities using the single cell tracking method only in fi ve days. This rapid DST method can reduce DST time dramatically and be used for fast and accurate treatments for TB patients leading the increase of the cure rate.

Background: Vitiligo remains a major challenge in dermatology. However, much of the treatment remains unclear, because little evidence is available. Objectives: To answer some critical questions pertaining to management of vitiligo patients. Methods: A modified Delphi process among 31 vitiligo experts was conducted. A total of 12 clinical vitiligo treatment questions without clear answers were collected via a vote. To address each question, two members performed systematic literature reviews and prepared draft statements along with the levels of evidence and strength of recommendation. After reviewing the draft, all expressed their extent of agreement from 1 (strong disagreement) to 9 (strong agreement) for each item. The drafts were revised to reflect suggested comments. Voting continued until the agreement rate did not change. Results: The consensus process was completed after five rounds. We identified the best answers to 12 key questions, including issues on long-term phototherapy, systemic and topical corticosteroids, topical calcineurin inhibitors, immunosuppressants, excimer laser treatment, and surgical interventions. Conclusion: This consensus would complement current guidelines and aid both physician and patient decisionmaking in the treatment of vitiligo.

Purpose: The aim of this study was to elucidate the effect of a bovine hydroxyapatite/collagen (BHC) block in one-wall intrabony periodontal defects in dogs. Methods: A one-wall intrabony periodontal defect (4 mm wide and 5 mm deep) was prepared bilaterally at the mesial side of the mandibular fourth premolar in five beagle dogs. After thorough root planing, block-type BHC ($4{\times}5{\times}5$ mm) was placed on one side. The contralateral defect area did not receive any material as a sham-surgery control. Histological analysis of the sites was performed after an 8-week healing period. Results: Two of five samples in the experimental group healed well without dissipation of the graft materials, and histological analysis revealed excellent regeneration of the periodontal tissues. However, most of the grafted materials had been displaced in the other three samples, leaving only a small portion of the graft. The measured parameters exhibited large standard deviations, and the mean values did not differ significantly between the experimental and sham-surgery control sides. Conclusions: The application of BHC alone-without a barrier membrane-to wide, one-wall intrabony periodontal defects yielded inconsistent results regarding both periodontal regeneration and substantivity of the graft materials. Thus, the use of a barrier membrane for noncontained-type defects is recommended to improve the stability of the grafted material, and to condense it.

Three-dimensional (3D) double-network graphene oxide/alginate-polyacrylonitrile (GO/Ca-Alg₂-PAN) composite hydrogels were synthesized via surface functionalization of GO to activate adsorption sites. The morphology and structure of the GO/Ca-Alg₂-PAN were analyzed by scanning electron microscopy (SEM), Brunauer-Emmett-Teller (BET), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), and thermogravimetric analysis (TGA-DSC). The results of the physicochemical analyses indicated that GO/Ca-Alg₂-PAN was successfully synthesized by the combination of a 2D -structured graphene oxide with the alginate which was functionalized with the PAN polymer to generate the 3D double network composites. This functionalization approach contributed to an increase in Cu<SUP>2+</SUP> ion adsorption capacity. The maximum adsorption capacity of the GO/Ca-Alg₂-PAN for Cu<SUP>2+</SUP> was 5.99 mmol/g. The results of adsorption kinetic experiments indicated that the GO/Ca-Alg₂-PAN reached adsorption equilibrium within 147 mins at 2 mM Cu<SUP>2+</SUP> in accordance with a pseudo-second-order model.

<P>A facile route to fabricate a protein-immobilized network pattern circuit for rapid and highly sensitive diagnosis was developed <I>via</I> the evaporation directed impromptu patterning method and selective avian influenza virus (AIV) immobilization. <P>Metal–organic frameworks (MOFs) have recently received much attention as promising candidates for gas storage, chemical separation, and heterogeneous catalysis. However, the applicability of MOFs remains limited due to their relatively large band gaps. Here, on the basis of first-principles theory study, it is demonstrated that this problem could be overcome by tailoring Zn<SUP>2+</SUP> ions in MOFs with Co<SUP>2+</SUP> ions while maintaining the same organic linkers. Density of states and molecular orbitals for MOFs with two elements, Zn and Co ions, show that band gaps ranging from semiconducting to metallic states can be obtained by tailoring the overlaps between the Co and Zn d-orbitals and the O and C p-orbitals.</P> <P>Graphic Abstract</P><P>First-principles calculations showed that the electronic properties of IRMOF-1 could be tailored by cobalt substitution to the metal cluster. <IMG SRC='http://pubs.rsc.org/services/images/RSCpubs.ePlatform.Service.FreeContent.ImageService.svc/ImageService/image/GA?id=b816668d'> </P>
