Giant keratoacanthoma is an uncommon variant of keratoacanthoma, which may increase to a diameter of several centimeters. Although keratoacanthomas usually resolve spontaneously, giant keratoacanthoma can be invasive and destructive. A 49-year-old man presented with a 5-year history of multiple large hyperkeratotic and crusted plaques and nodules on sun-exposed areas such as the face, ear, hand, and forearm. Some lesions involuted spontaneously, whereas others became rather enlarged. The biopsy specimen revealed horn-filled crater formation, epidermal extending resembling a buttress, and an eosinophilic glassy appearance in the keratinocytic cytoplasm. We treated the lesions with acitretin, and they almost completely resolved after 13 weeks. Here we describe a case of multiple giant keratoacanthoma treated with acitretin. Natural convection heat transfer from the corner between a vertical flat plate and adiabatic wall has been studied for various inclination angles of the adiabatic wall and Rayleigh numbers by using Mach-Zehnder interferometer in air. Natural convection heat transfer is increased with increasing the inclination angle of the adiabatic wall. The local Nusselt number is increased to x/L=1/18 and then decreased at θ=30° And 60°, but decreased at θ=90°, 120°, 150° And 180° as the dimensionless plate length increases. The mean Nusselt number at θ=30° Shows minimum and at θ=180° Maximum for constant Rayleigh numbers.

This study has been carried out to investigate into the natural convection heat transfer from the isothermal horizontal plate with downward projecting fins numerically. The governing equations for the system are solved by the finite difference method and sucessive under relaxation method at Ra=10^(5), Pr=0.71, C_(F)=7.75. Mean Nusselt numbers, velocities, temperatures and stream functions are obtained for various dimensionless fin lengths. The results are as follows ; 1. The dimensionless temperature distributions decrease rapidly in fins and linearly in fluid as x/s increase 2. The mean plate, fin and total Nusselt number are decreased by increasing the dimensionless fin lengths 3. The mean late Nusselt number is less than the mean fin Nusselt number at l/s>8.0 4. The local fin Nusselt number is increased rapidly near the fin tip and that of the fin tip is decreased rapidly by increasing the dimensionless fin lengths.

This study is to explore how consumers' needs for tactile cues affect their purchasing behaviors in the internet shopping mall. Since previous studies about internet shopping malls are mainly performed on the primary factors of perceived risk, there are insufficient studies of tactile cues for apparel products. Emphasis of this study is placed on verifying the following hypothesis; it is expected that consumers' needs for tactile cues affect apparel purchasing behaviors in inter-net shopping. The questionnaire was administered to 20 to 30 year old male and female respondents who are either students or businessmen living in the Busan area. 150 questionnaires were completed and collected for data analysis. The data were, using SPSS 10. 0 for Window, statistically analyzed by frequency and factor analysis for VARIMAX, Cronbach's coefficient and Linear regression analysis. The results of data analysis are as follows: First, the tactile cues negatively affect purchase intentions of consumers. This shows that apparel internet shoppers who have high desire for tactical cues tend to avoid purchasing products through the internet. Second, the factor analysis of the moderating effect on perceived risks shows that the perceived risks significantly moderate both the tactile cues and purchase intention of consumers. Third, analysis of purchased experience also shows that purchased experiences significantly moderate both the tactile cues and purchase intention.

Mokpo-MS를 利用한 F_1用種子 採種方法과 採種能力

成分改良된 Mokpo-MS를 利用하여 F_l用種子 採種方法과 採種能力을 究明코자 實驗한바 MS와 花粉親間 의 交互栽植時에 10a 當 F_l採種量은 어느 組合에서나 다 같이 MS 1 畦, 花粉親 1畦 交互畦栽植에서118~127kg의 F_l採種量을 얻었고 MS 2 畦, 花粉親 1 畦 交互畦 栽植에서는 101~ 118Kg, MS 3 畦, 花粉親 1 畦 交互畦 栽植에서는 86~89Kg의 F_l採種量을 얻었다. The F_1 seed production in per l0a has been produced by 118kg to 120kg with the one row planting of pollen parents and one row alternate planting of Mokpo-MS. The other hand, two rows planting of Mokpo-MS and one row alternate planting of pollen parents has been to produced by 101kg to 118kg and three rows planting of Mokpo-MS and one row alter nate planting of pollen parents has been produced by 86 to kg in F-l seed production.

The mean plate Nusslt number is decreased by increasing the dimensionless fin lengths and the mean fin Nusselt number shows the maximum value at H/S=2.0 3. The mean total Nusselt number shows the optimum fin length for the maximum heat transfer at H/S=2.0 4. The mean plate, fin and total Nusselt number are increased by increasing the dimensionless fin lengths at H/S=1.0

입원한 중년기 환자의 건강증상정도와 간호요양원에 대한 인식 조사

Purpose: The purpose of study was to prepare data for establishing the nursing home by understanding the health complaints and the cognition about nursing home in the middle aged patients. Method: Research design was a descriptive survey. The subjects were 186 patients who aged 40-64 and administrated at a hospital in G. City. Data were collected by interview with the questionnaires from Dec. 26, 2003 to Jan. 20, 2004. Data were analysed by Y17frequency, mean, ANOVA. Duncan's test through SPSS. Result: The mean score of the health complaints was 1.60 and the cognition about nursing home was 2.15 of 4 point. The score of health complaints was significantly higher in female, lower educational level, lower monthly income, without spouse. The score of cognition about nursing home was significantly higher in higher educational level, higher monthly income. Subjects responded nursing home has merits of the nursing quality and the cost effect, and it should be near home. Conclusions: The level of health complaints was 40% and the cognition of nursing home was 54% of 100 in the middle aged patients.

남부지역에서의 양파 수확, 저장 및 유통실태

This study was carried out to find marketing, storage and harvest of onion in southern parts of Korea from Jan. 1994 to Apr. 1994. Early maturing cultivar harvest between 10th and 20th of May but late maturing cultivar harvest between 10th and 20th of June, this period was busy farming season with a shortage of labor. Early maturing cultivar was send out good directly but late maturing cultivar was send out good after shortage the simple store house with the period 7-9 month, and professional seed production farmer are not in here. We hope that this report stimulates research to investigate for the establishment of not only harvesting practices such as varietal improvement, machanical harvesting and disease resistant variety for the storage.

제지폐수처리용 생물고분자응집제를 생산하는 Bacillus sp. K-111의 배양특성조사

Flocculant-producing microorganisms were screened from obtained strains in the laboratory using a pulp-wastewater treatment as the flocculating agent. K-111 strain that had high flocculating activity among them was selected and identified as Bacillus sp. K-111 16s rDNA sequencing. The favorable medium for the production of flocculant was glucose 1.5%, NH_4NO_3 0.2%, tryptone 0.01%, K_2HPO_4 0.08%, KH_2PO_4 0.06%, CaCO_3 0.03%, MgSO_4·7H_2O 0.005%, MnSO_4 0.005% in 1 liter of D.W. at initial pH 7.0. The optimum culture temperature and pH were 30℃ and pH 7.0, respectively. the flocculating activity was observed most highly after 36 to 48 hr of cultivation at the optimum conditions. the flocculating activity of produced biopolymer on optimum conditions was about 2.5-fold higher than that of screening medium.
