Benign tumors of the liver are rare, and Henson and associates collected only 34 hemangiomas between 1907 and 1954 at the Mayo Clinic. Most of the cavernous hemangiomas of the liver are small in size, and produce no symptoms during life, but some can reach massive proportions and often present as abdominal masses or causes symptoms by encroachment on adjacent viscera. We have recently been confronted by two case of those large tumors, which has prompted this report with a review of this relatively rare condition. 1) A 32-year-old woman was admitted because of anorexia and indigestion associated with headache, myalgia, mild elevation of fever and weight loss of 5kg in two months. Examination of the abdomen disclosed one finger breadth palpable liver which was slightly tender. A large intrahepatic space-occupying lesion was discovered on radionuclide scan, ultrasonography and computed tomography of the abdomen. Selective hepatic angiography revealed characteristic features of puddling of contrast media along the branches of right and middle hepatic arteries throughout the arterial and venous phase of the angiograms. The resected specimen using Cavitron Ultrasonic Surgical Aspirator was proved to a giant cavernous hemangioma of the liver on microscopic exam. A 32-year-old man came to the hospital because of abdominal pain and a extremely huge mass nearly occupying the whole of his belly. The lesion was found to be a multiloculated highly echogenic mass in the left lobe of the liver on ultrasonography, and a huge hypodense, well-circumscribed homogeneous one with central low density component in the liver on computed tomography of the abdomen. Extensive pooling of contrast media was found throughout the markedly enlarged liver with persistence of tumor stain wliich was measured to be about 25cm in diameter until the late venous phase of the selective hepatic arteriograms. The tumor was considered to be an unresectable one, and we recommended radiation therapy.

We used a portion of mitochondrial COI gene sequences (438 bp) to investigate the phylogenetic and population genetic characteristics of the diamondback moth, Plutella xylostella, in Korea. A total of 27 mtDNA haplotypes were obtained from the samples collected from eight localities mostly in southern part of Korea. One haplotype, DB24, obtained from Muju in Chunrabuk Province formed an independent phylogenetic group in the PAUP and PHYLIP analyses, separated by 1.8~2.7% of sequence divergence from others. This distinct haplotype appears to be one that carried by immigrants from outside study areas, but further study is required. Even excluding DB24, sequence divergence was moderate to substantial (0.2~1.4%) and haplotype diversity within populations was substantially higher (mean H = 0.95), compared with other relevant studies. Although most haplotypes were confined within one locality, female gene flow was substantial or high (Nm = 10.6-infinite). The same pattern was observed in the hierarchical genetic analysis, showing that local populations were composed of heterogeneous haplotypes, and the genetic distance between localities were not statistically significant. These findings allowed us to conclude that the local diamondback moth populations was formed with randomly dispersed individuals, survived from the diversified use of insecticides over geographic areas.

The purpose of this study was to examine the differences with demographic·behavioral properties among the groups of local residents, consisted by team loyalty, and then, to suggest appropriate market segmentation for spectators of sport spectatorship. First, the main targets of both clusters were the twenties~forties age groups and people who have with family/friends` visiting pattern, but particularly cluster Ⅰ(`positive team loyalty` group) seemed to have prospective customers; teenagers. Second, it would be good for cluster Ⅰ(`positive team loyalty` group), which had basically high team loyalty, to promote joining in supporters activity as a leisure. On the one hand, cluster Ⅱ(`passive team loyalty` group) was a group of regional residents who were not interested in local sports spectatorship, usually watched games by TV or radio, and whose watching a home(H) game in the stadium was the first time that being in the stadium. So, for the team, it would be a positive potential income to promote the visiting stadium of cluster Ⅱ. Consequently, it would be need to actively develop and to try differentiated marketing strategies for the team to achieve its goal; the growth of revenue, the admission charge. And, based on these differentiated marketing strategies of the team, regional residents would be able to have a new understanding of regional professional sports as leisure activities.
PVD 방법에 의한 TiN barrier metal 형성과 공정개발

Ar과 N₂?가스가 혼합된 분위기에서 반응성 스퍼터링 방법에 의하여 TiN 박막을 증착하였다. N₂ 가스의 농도는 화학양론적으로 TiN이 형성되는 조건에 맞도록 조절하였으며, 기판의 온도는 실온에서 부터 700℃의 범위내로 유지하였다. (111) texture 구조를 가지면서 화학양론적으로 Ti??N??인 박막은 기판의 온도가 600℃ 이상에서 형성되었고, 기판의 온도가 600℃ 이하에서는 형성된 박막은 N-과다형이었다. XRD, XPS 및 RBS 분석 결과 TiN 박막의 조성비는 기판의 온도에서 다소 의존하였으나 약 5% 이내에 불과하였다. TiN 박막의 면저항은 기판온도의 증가에 따라 감소하였고, 기판온도가 600℃에서 증착된 TiN 박막의 면저항능 14.5Ω/□ 였고, Ar―가스 분위기에서 700℃로 30초간 열처리한 후는 8.9Ω/□ 이었다. 따라서 반응성 스퍼터링방법에 의하여 형성되는 양질의 TiN 박막은 기판온도가 600℃이상이 최적조건임을 알았다. Titanium nitride (TiN) films were prepared by reactive sputter deposition in mixed gas of Ar+N₂?. The volume percentage of N₂ in the working gas was chosen so as to grow stoichiometric TiN films and the substrate temperature during film growth was set from room temperature to 700℃. stoichiometric Ti??N?? films with (111) texture were grown at temperatures over 600℃, while films prepared at temperatures below 600℃ showed N-rich TiN. The composition x and y in the Ti??N?? films determined by XPS and RBS varied within 5% with the substrate temperature. The sheet resisstance of the TiN films decreases as the substrate temperature increased. TiN film prepared at 600℃ showed 14.5Ω/□, and it decreased to 8.9Ω/□ after the sample was annealed at 700℃, 30 sec in Ar-gas ambient by RTA. By far, high quality stoichiometric TiN films by reactive sputtering in the mixed gas ambient could be prepared at substrate temperature over 600℃.

Focusing on the importance of exhibition industry, which had significant meanings with respect to marketing of participation companies as well as development of exhibition industry, this study analyzed the relationship between participation objectives and performance of exhibition. Furthermore, the determinants of exhibition choice and behavioral intention, associated with the two key factors above, were examined to suggest some ways to improve the competitiveness of the domestic exhibition industry. The results of this study elicited some implications. First, most companies, which participated in exhibition, established objectives and measured performance, by documentation before and after the exhibition. Second, there were significant relationship between participation objectives and determinants of exhibition choice, and third, participation performance of exhibition and behavioral intention also had positive correlation.

Although human error is recognized as the primary cause of railway accidents and incidents, there have been limitations in finding the root causes of errors and developing effective corrective actions in the Korean railway industry, due to the absence of a systematic method and lack of professional knowledge and skills of investigators. Therefore, there has been a strong need for a systematic methodology for human error analysis. This paper introduces a methodology for analyzing human error in railway operations, called HEAR (Human Error Analysis and Reduction). HEAR is intended to help analysts identify the sequences and various levels of causes of operators' erroneous actions in railway accidents or incidents and make recommendations to eliminate or reduce the future possibility of similar errors and accidents. It was developed based on a thorough investigation of various techniques for human errors analysis and feedback from field investigators.
응급실을 내원한 구강악안면외과 안면골 골절 환자의 변화에 대한 비교 연구

Although there have been many clinical studies about the facial trauma in the recent as well as in the past, severity and frequency of facial trauma are reported multifarious. It seemed to be because of variety of social, cultural, and environmental factors, and the view point of investigators. In this study, we investigated about the patients visiting emergency room during recent 4 years(2004-2007), and compared with retrospective study during former 10 years(1992-1996, 1999-2003) in Dept. OMS Pusan National University Hospital. We assessed the cause, type, demographic, etc, and analyzed alterations of facial bone fractures during past 3 periods. The results were as follows. The total number of patients was increased. 429 patients treated for maxillofacial fractures between January 1992 and December 1996, 466 patients treated between January 1992 and December 1996 and 764 patients treated between January 2004 and December 2007. The male-to-female ratio were 4.6:1, 3.9:1, and 4.16:1, respectively. Patient in the age groups of 10-19 years and 20-29 years increased in the latter two periods. Assaults and falls are decreased gradually, but slip down s are increased. Traffic accidents are still major cause of facial trauma. The mandibular fractures showed the highest incidence thorought three periods. Symphysis fractures of mandible was increased and condyle fractures of mandible was drecreased in the third period.
