        북한산국립공원의 계류수질 보전 전략(I)

        This study was conducted to investigate physicochemical property changes from July 1998 to August 2001 in Mt. Bukhansan National Park. Four water sampling points were selected to measure the quality of stream water in the northeastern part of the Mt. Bukhansan National Park. The results were summarized as follows; In spring, the average pH of stream water was below the first class of the river water quality standard, while it was normal level in summer. The average electrical conductivity was about 2.3~3.3 times higher in downstream water than in upstream water during spring and summer. The contents of anions($Cl^-$, $NO{_3}^-$, $SO{_4}^{2-}$) were about 1.1~7.4 and 0.4~11.4 times higher in downstream than in upstream water, respectively. These results indicate that water quality was poorer in downstream than in upstream water. We suggest that stream water in the Mt. Bukhansan National Park should be protected from impacts of snow melting mineral particles in spring season and human impacts like wastewater of point source in summer season.

      • 절삭가공오차보상을 위한 기상측정 데이터기반 신경회로망의 응용

        This paper presents a methodology of machining error compensation by using Artificial Neural Network(ANN) model based on the inspection database of On-Machine -Measurement(OMM) system. First, the geometric errors of the machining center and the probing errors are significantly reduced through compensation processes. Then, we acquire machining error distributions from a specimen work piece. In order to efficiently analyze the machining errors, we define two characteristic machining error parameters. These can he modeled by using an ANN model, which allows us to determine the machining errors in the domain of considered cutting conditions. Based on this ANN model, we try to correct the tool path in order to effectively reduce the errors by using an iterative algorithm. The iterative algorithm allows us to integrate changes of the cutting conditions according to the corrected tool path. Experimentation is carried out in order to validate the approaches proposed in this paper.

        The microbial activity of P3-luboklar FC,FC-A,FC-A(XT)DX and DXB was compared by DGHM Germ Carrier Test method. The following results were obtained. 1. FC,KB and KC has shown to be effective against all strains within 10 minutes. 2. FC-A was effective against E. coli, immediately, and kill could be achieved against Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Staphylococcus aureus within 4 minutes and 16 minutes, respectively. 3. DXB was effective against all strains within 10 minutes with the exeption of B. subtilis. 4. FC-A(XT) was the most effective against B. subtilis.

        This study was to look for cutting conditions which are safe, comfortable and contributable to the increase in productivity at the time in turning. The shape of chips while turning have a strong effect on cutting processing. If chips fail to be well controlled, systematic cutting is not possible by revolution of chips entangled with workpiece or damage of tool edges, and this causes problems threatening the safety of the operator. This study is designed to identify conditions which chips effectively controlled and able to treat properly, and the results are as follows: 1. Feed rate, which determined the shape of chips, was found to have a stronger impact on the shape of resulting chips than any other cutting condition. 2. When feed rate was 0.25mm or over, controlled chips(coil spring type) were produced under whatever cutting conditions. 3. When feed rate was 0.25mm or over and depth of cut was 1.0mm, well-controlled shorter coil type chips were produced at every spindle speed, which implied they were the most suitable cutting conditions. 4. Feed rate 0.2mm was found to be an unstable section where coil spring and linear mixed type chips were produced together, and as feed rate decreased, more linear chips beyond control were produced. 5. At the same spindle speed, as the diameter of the material became bigger, controlled chips were produced only when the depth of cut was reduced, and vice versa under feed rate 0.2mm. 6. At the same feed rate, the lower spindle speed was, the more stable chips were produced.

      • 예비 및 현직 초등교사의 경력과 성별에 따른 STS 상호작용에 대한 인식조사

        The purpose of this study is to consider pre-service and in-service elementary school teachers' perceptions about STS (Science-Technology-Society) STS interactions by gender and career. To consider their perceptions and develop the proper teaming methods/materials to it, the next matters were established ; 1. What difference is there between their perceptions about the nature of science and technology and those about STS interactions by genders? 2. What difference is there between their perceptions about the nature of science and technology and those about STS interactions by careers? 222 of the seniors in Jinju National University of Education, namely pre-service elementary school teachers, and 185 of the active teachers in Kyung- Nam Province were selected as the objects for researching these matters. The results were analyzed with a percentage as an examining tool of TBA-STS (Teachers' Beliefs about Science-Technology-Society). The results were as follows ; First, the difference of opinions by genders was not clear in contents. In some of the questions which asked the interactions among science, technology, and society, actual and simple views were a little bit different. Second, in active teachers' recognition of STS interactions by careers, there was a meaningful difference. In other words, most teachers thought of the influence of science on technology as 'technology is an application of science', but the teachers wish 6 to 15 years careers told mostly consider the influence of technology on society as actual opinions. It showed that the teachers with more than 25 years careers had simple thoughts that technology makes our lives more convenient. Moreover, on the STS interactions, those with more than 25 years careers recognized with simplicity that one thing has influence on only another thing. From these above results, the following suggestions are made for the succeeding studies. First, the basic principles of STS should be introduced in the curriculums for pre -service teachers, and also the instruction of it to in-service teachers should be intensified in order that they can have firm views of it. Second, studies should be made to investigate what factors have influence on teachers' recognition of STS. I hope that the succeeding studies on it will be made actively and they will be helpful to settle the education of STS in elementary science education.

      • 이동형 생체계측을 위한 임베디드 컴퓨팅

        연구목적: 초소형 정밀 기계 기술로 제작된 2차원 가속도 센서와 916 MH2 단거리 고주파 데이터 통신 기술을 응용하여 인체의 운동상태를 자동으로 감지하고 분류하는 기법을 제안 하고자 하였다. 재료 및 방법: 인체의 신호를 획득하기 위하여 미국 버클리대에서 제작한 무선 센서를 등 산용 조끼의 전면상단에 부착해서, 대상자의 흉골 부위에 위치하도록 하고, 앉은 상태에서 일어서거나 눕거나 하는 동작 및 그 역동작이 일어날 때, 가속도 센서에서 감지되는 4가지 종류의 파형 현화에 해당되는 데이터를 무선센서 네트웍을 통해 획득하였다. 결과: 획득한 신호를 주성분분석(Principal Component Analysis)과 지원벡터머신(Support Vector Machine)을 사용하여, 2차주성분까지를 도표화하고 클러스터링 함으로써, 4개의 영역으로 분할하는 것이 가능함을 말 수 있었다 결론: 소형 센서들이 작동되는 임베디드 컴퓨팅 환경에서 일상생활 중에 발생하는 인체의 4가지 동작을 자동으로 감지하고 분류하는 것이 가능함을 보였다. Purpose: New monitoring and classifying method of human motion contort was pro- posed by using 2-axial MEMS accelerometer and 916 MHz short-range data communica-tion technology. Materials and Methods: The wireless sensor of MICA mote was attached to a woman mountain vest and located close to the subject's sternum. During four types of sub-ject's motion, that is, sit-to-stand, stand-to-sit, sit-to-tying, and tying-to-sit, waveform changes of the accelerometer data were acquired by wireless sensor network. Results: The acquired signal was analyzed by Principal Component Analysis(PCA) and Support Vector Machine(SVM) technique. By clustering the first and second principal components, four regions corresponding to the four types of motion, were clearly segment-ed. Conclusion: Human motion context during daily life could be monitored and classified automatically by using small sensors in embedded computing environment

        리우 올림픽 출전 선수들의 경기력 분석

        이 연구는 세계태권도연맹이 실시해온 랭킹 시스템 도입에 의해 1~6위까지 랭킹 상위자들에게 올림픽 자동 출전권을 부여함에 있어 리우올림픽 경기 결과를 분석하여 올림픽에서 입상한 선수들과 올림픽 자동출전권을 획득한 선수들과의 비교함으로써 랭킹시스템 제도에 대한 발전 방안을 모색한 결과 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 첫째, -58kg급 체급에는 1위 중국(shuai zhao), 2위 태국(Tawin Hanprab), 3위 한국(Kim TAE-hun), 도미니카 공화국(Luisito PIE) 순으로 나타났다. 1위 입상자 중국선수의 경우 긴 신장을 이용한 몸통기술(10), 얼굴(4)로 나타났으며, 이 체급 자동 출전권 1위를 획득한 이란선수의 경우 예선탈락을 하였다. 둘째, -68kg급 체급에서는 1위 요르단(Ahmad), 2위 러시아(Alexey), 3위 스페인(Joel), 한국(Lee)으로 나타났으며, 1위 입상자 요르단 선수의 경우 몸통(9), 얼굴(8), 주먹(1)로 얼굴 및 몸통 등에서 대등하게 기술을 발휘하며 다른 선수에 비해 얼굴기술이 탁월하게 좋은 것으로 나타났다. 이 체급 1위로 자동출전권을 획득한 벨기에 선수의 경우 메달권에서 러시아선수를 만나 패함으로서 메달 획득을 하지 못하였다. 셋째, -80kg급 체급에서는 1위 코트디부아르(Cheick), 2위 영국(Lutalo), 3위 아제르바이잔(Milad), 튀니지(Oussama)로 나타났으며, 1위 입상자 코트디부아르 선수의 경우 좋은 체격과 선수 특유의 탄력을 이용한 순발력으로 몸통(11), 얼굴(3), 주먹(2)로 나타났다. 이 선수의 경우 공격 기술이 탁월하며 역습기술에서는 득점이 나타나지 않아 공격과 방어기술이 탁월한 선수로 나타났으며 이 체급 랭킹포인트 1위로 자동출전한 이란선수의 경우 9강에서 아제르바이잔 선수를 만나 예선 탈락 하였다. 넷째, +80kg체급에서는 1위 아제르바이잔(Radik), 2위 나이지리아(Abdoulazak), 3위 브라질(Maicon), 한국(Cha)로 나타났으며, 1위 입상자 아제르바이잔 선수의 경우 몸통(4),얼굴(4)로 최고 중량급에서 몸통 및 얼굴기술이 다양하며 방어기술 또한 좋은 것으로 나타났다. 이 체급 랭킹 포인트 1위로 자동 출전한 우주베키스탄 선수의 경우 8강에서 쿠바 복병을 만나 골든포인트에서 패하여 메달을 획득하지 못하였으며 최종대회 1위를 차지한 아제르바이잔 선수의 경우 랭킹포인트 3위로 올림픽 자동출전권을 획득하여 금메달의 영광을 차지하였다. This study was conducted to analyze the results of the Rio Olympic Games in order to grant the Olympic qualification to the top ranking players by the introduction of the ranking system implemented by the World Taekwondo Federation and to acquire the automatic Olympic qualification By comparing with the players, we searched for the development of the ranking system, and the following conclusions were obtained. First, shaai zhao, Tawin Hanprab, Kim TAE-hun, and Luisito PIE ranked in the order of -58 kg. In the case of Chinese athletes who ranked first, body length (10) and face (4) using long elongation were shown. In the case of Iran, which was automatically ranked in the first place in this weight ranking point, Azerbaijan player was eliminated in the ninth round. . Fourthly, in the + 80kg weight class, it was ranked as 1st in Azerbaijan (Radik), 2nd in Nigeria (Abdoulazak), 3rd in Brazil (Maicon) and in Korea (Cha) 4) showed that body and face skills varied in the top heavyweight, and defensive skills were also good. In the case of Uzbekistan player who was automatically placed in the top of this weight ranking point 1, he was not able to win the medal by defeating Golden Point in Cuba in the quarter-finals.         Neuroprotection and reduced gliosis by pre- and post-treatments of hydroquinone in a gerbil model of transient cerebral ischemia

        <P><B>Abstract</B></P> <P>Hydroquinone (HQ), a major metabolite of benzene, exists in many plant-derived food and products. Although many studies have addressed biological properties of HQ including the regulation of immune responses and antioxidant activity, neuroprotective effects of HQ following ischemic insults have not yet been considered. Therefore, in this study, we examined neuroprotective effects of HQ against ischemic damage in the gerbil hippocampal cornu ammonis 1 (CA1) region following 5 min of transient cerebral ischemia. We found that pre- and post-treatments with 50 and 100 mg/kg of HQ protected CA1 pyramidal neurons from ischemic insult. Especially, pre- and post-treatments with 100 mg/kg of HQ showed strong neuroprotective effects against ischemic damage. In addition, pre- and post-treatments with 100 mg/kg of HQ significantly attenuated activations of astrocytes and microglia in the ischemic CA1 region compared to the vehicle-treated-ischemia-operated group. Briefly, these results show that pre- and post-treatments with HQ can protect neurons from transient cerebral ischemia and strongly attenuate ischemia-induced glial activation in the hippocampal CA1 region, and indicate that HQ can be used for both prevention and therapy of ischemic injury.</P> <P><B>Highlights</B></P> <P> <UL> <LI> Low dose of hydroquinone (HQ), a tumorigenesis-inducing factor, does not show neuronal damage. </LI> <LI> Pre- and post-treatments with HQ significantly protects neurons from transient cerebral ischemia. </LI> <LI> Pre- and post-treatments with HQ significantly attenuate ischemia-induced gliosis. </LI> <LI> HQ could be a novel compound for postischemic therapy after cerebral ischemic insults. </LI> </UL> </P>

        치위생학 전공 학생의 특수목적 영어교과목 요구분석

        Objectives: This study analyzes the demands of dental hygiene college students for English courses and proposes ways to improve English courses for college students majoring in dental hygiene that would take advantage of English for specific purposes (ESP) in the future. Methods: Using a structured questionnaire, four universities by region with departments of dental hygiene were selected at random, and out of a total of 260 college students majoring in dental hygiene, data of 258 students, excluding data with missing values, were considered for investigating the needs of English curriculum development using the SPSS program. Results: Total 82.1% of the students expected English programs, and they said that English was important, The proposal for English curriculum development indicated that although the number of English programs was sufficient, diversification of English programs or changes in methods of managing classes were required. As for the need for English programs (66.4%), they required more ESP, such as practical English for dental or dental terminology, which can be used clinically and more than English for general purposes (EGP). Conclusions: Students in dental hygiene showed a higher demand for more professional ESP that can use clinically as dental hygienists in the future. It is necessary to consider the reorganization of the curriculum or changes in the method of managing English classes by reflecting one demands of dental hygiene students.
