      • 초음파 에너지를 부가한 물-경유 에멀젼유의 디젤기관 성능에 관한 연구

        This study was undertaken to investigate the engine output, fuel consumption and its brake thermal efficiency of diesel fuel(DF), ultrasonic energy adding diesel fuel(UDF) and ultrasonic energy adding emulsified fuel(UEF) according to the variation of the speed of engine revolution through engine performance test device under the circumstances of electrical load (4/4) and 80℃. The results obtained are as follows: 1. In the case of UDF, as a result of fuel atomization combustion efficiency became good and accordingly fuel consumption rate decreased by 2∼2.5%, brake horsepower increased by 1.32% maximum. According to decrease in fuel consumption rate and increase in brake horsepower, specific fuel consumption rate was improved by 1.8∼3.5%, and brake thermal efficiency was improved by 2∼2.6%. 2. When using UEF, torque and brake horsepower decreased by 0.4∼1.35%, 0.41∼1.34%, fuel consumption rate increased by 3.15∼4.05%. 3. When using UEF, in spite of the increase in brake horsepower and fuel consumption rate, owing to the small calorific value of emulsified fuel, brake thermal efficiency was improved by 6.1∼7.3%. 4. In the case of UDF, torque was improved, whereas when using UEF, torque was decreased.

        15주간의 신체 활동 증진 프로그램이 여자 대학생의 신체 조성 및 혈중 지질 농도에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of this study was to develop the lecture model as liberal arts which have the positive effects to promote physical activity and to decrease obesity-dated variables. Subjects in this study were women university students, and they were divided into two groups to voluntary applying; one was tennis group (n=10), the other table tennis group (n=10). Physical activity promotion program in this study was practiced one time a week, 130 min. one time with the intensity under 83% predicted HR max for 15 weeks. Anthropometrics, body fat(%), blood lipid profile were measured before and after attending the program, respectively. After 15-week-physical activity promotion program, body weight, BMI, WHR, body fat(%), total cholesterol concentration, triacylglyceride concentration were decreased significantly in both groups (p<.5). Resting heart rate was decreased significantly only in tennis group (p<.5). No significance was shown in systolic and diastolic blood pressure to both groups.

        소방대원들의 실내, 실외 근무 형태에 따른 유산소 운동능력 및 등속성 근력

        The purpose of study was to investigate the influence of cardiopulmonary function and isokinetic knee joint muscle strength on duty form in the fm fighters. 28men who aged 30-40 years were measured by resting pulmonary function test, exercise stress test(Q4500, Quinton, Co.) and isokinetic knee joint muscle strength testing(Cybex 6000 dynamometer system). Subjects were divided into the 2 groups that were indoor duty group and outdoor duty group. Statistical analysis was performed using analysis of variance t-test. Major findings and conclusion are as follows: In body fat test, outdoor duty groups was showed lower than that of indoor duty group. For the lung function test at rest, lung volume, vital capacity, MVV, FEVO.5-1.0, expiratory and inspiratory flow rate were checked. In results, outdoor duty group was showed higher than that of indoor duty group. During exercise stress test, heart rate, ventilation, and oxygen uptake, were checked by automatic gas analyzer. In results, outdoor duty group was showed higher than that of indoor duty group. In isokmetic knee joint muscle strength, peak torque and average power of indoor duty group was showed significantly lower than that of outdoor duty group. At Comparison of right and left knee joint, isokinetic strength, isokinetic power and isokimtic endurance of right knee joint was showed significantly higher then that of left knee joint, but in 60 degree per second, left knee joint was showed higher then that of right knee joint. Result from this investigation show greater personal training and fire quell a not, emergency rescue activity was increased knee joint muscle strength. Therefore, physical fitness and health maintenance programs for fire fighters have been developed, implemented and proven to reduce morbidity and mortality and financial expenditures.

      • 만성 화농성 중이염의 세균학적 고찰

        Background and Objectives : Chronic suppurative otitis media is one of the frequent diseases in otolaryngologic field. It is important to choose of antibiotics in the management of infectious disease. But the organisms in infections have been changed and resistance to antibiotics has been grown as the development of antibiotics has been achieved. And so it has been necessary to recognize the changes of organisms and resistance in antibiotics. Our study was performed to identify the pathogens isolated from discharges in chronic otitis media and evaluate the antibiotic agents, to recognize the change of to resistance to·antibiotic agents and to use the appropriate anitiotics. Materials and Methods : Retrospectively, authors reviewed the backeriologic study of 114 cases of chronic suppurative otitis media who visited the Department of Otolaryngology, Soonchunhyang University in Seoul from Nov. 1996 to Oct. 1999 and analyzed 101 strains and its sensitivity test to various antibiotics. Result : In 93 cases in which pathogenic organism was isolated, single infection was 85 cases(91.4%) and mixed infection was 8 cases(8.6%). The most frequent pathogenic organism was Staphylococcus aureus(59.4%), Pseudomonas aeruginosa(13.9%), Providencia(4.8%), Alcaligenes(3.0%) and Streptococcus pneumoniae(2.9%) were the next. Methicilline-Resistance Staphylococcus aureus was 34 cases(57.6%) of Staphylococcus aureus. Staphylococcus aureus was sensitive to Vancomycin(96.7%), Trimethoprim-Sulfamethoxazole (57.6%), Cefuroxime(42.4%) and Ciprofloxacin(40.7%) but resistant to Penicillin(94.9%). Pseudomonas aeruginosa was sentitive Amikacin(100%), Ciprofloxacin(100%) and Gentamicin(67%). Conclusion : As MRSA recently was wide spread in community accquired infection as well as nosocomial infection, we must consider strict control of MRSA.

      • 膈下遂瘀湯 煎湯液이 鎭通, 消炎 및 膈臟에 미치는 影響

        Kyughachugatang(膈下遂瘀湯) has been applied as an oriental medicine which has been exerted therapeutic effects on pain of hypo-chondriac zone. This experiment is designed to investigate the effects of Kyughachugatang Extract on the analgesia, anti-inflammation and pancreatic damage. The results were obtained as follows : 1. On the experiment of analgesic effects of Kyughachugatang Extract, the Writhing syndrome induced by acetic acid was reduced compared with Control Group. The analgesic effects observed by the Hot plate method was revealed the Paw licking time and Escape time prolonged. 2. Anti-inflammatory effects was increased by Kyughachugatang Extract administration. 3. On pancreatic damage of mice induced by streptozotocin, the Writhing syndrome induced by acetic acid was reduced compared with Control Group, the analgesic effects observed by Hot plate method was revealed the Paw licking time and Escape time prolonged by Kyugachugatang Extract administration. 4. On pancreatic damage of rats induced by streptozotocin, anti-inflammatory effects was increased by Kyughachugatang Extract administration. According to the results, Kyughachugatang Extract is revealed the effects on the analgesia, anti-inflammation and pancreatic damage. We conclued that Kurghachugatang Extract promote or activate blood circulation by removing blood stasis(活血化瘀).

      • 韓國産 靈芝 煎湯液이 Mouse의 免疫細胞 機能에 미치는 影響

        This study was done to know the effects of Natural Ganoderma or Cultured Ganoderma on the innate immunities, tumor immunities and rosette forming capacities of spleen cells. The innate immunities were evaluated by measuring the effects of Natural or Cultured Ganoderma on the phagocytic activity and reactive oxygen intermediate(ROI) formation of macrophages. The effects of Natural or Cultured Ganoderma on the tumor immunities were evaluated by checking the antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity(ADCC) and natural killer(NK) cell activities. The administrations of both Natural and Cultured Ganoderma increased the phagocytic activities and the production of ROI of macrophages from the peritoneal cavities. But the effects caused by Natural Ganoderma were bigger than those by Cultured Ganoderma. Both the Natural and Cultured Ganoderma enhanced the ADCC but did not affect on the NK activity. The capacities of spleen cells to forming rosette were increased greatly bo the administration of Natural Ganoderma and slightly by the administration of Cultured Ganoderma. The results of this study showed that even though both Natural and Cultured Ganoderma enhanced the innate immunities, tumor immunity, and rosette forming capacity of spleen cells, Natural Ganoderma were better than Cultured Ganoderma in increasing the host's immune capabilities.

        정상교하 아동의 두개안면부 성장에 관한 종적 연구

        혼합치열기 정상교합 아동 24명(남:14명 여:10명 초진 시 평균 나이 9±1.3세, 평균 관찰 기간: 13±1.3개월)에 대한 성장량을 측정하여 기능적 교정장치의 순수 치료효과를 평가하는데 도움이 되기 위해 3회(5~8개월 간격) 촬영한 측모 두부 방사선 규격 사진에 대한 분석 결과 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 1. 남아는 상악골은 전하방, 하악골은 전방성장하였고, 여아는 상하악골이 전하방 성장하였다(p<0.05). 2. 상하악골의 남녀간 차이에서 수평적 성장상태는 여아가 컸고(A point 여아: 2.39mm, 남아: 1.26mm, p<0.05), 수직적 성장상태는 유의한 차이가 없었다. 3. 상악 전치의 치축은 두개저에 대해서 순측 경사하였고(p<0.01) 하악 전치의 치축은 큰 변화가 없었다. The purpose of this study was to provide the reference data evaluating the treatment effect of orthopedic appliances. The skeletal and dental growth increments were measured in 24 normal mixed dentition children(boys: 14, girls: 10) by three serial lateral cephalograms: initial mean age: 9±1.3 years, mean observation period: 13±1.3 months, Cephalometric changes were analysed. The results were as follows: 1. In boys, the maxilla showed forward and downward growth pattern and the mandible showed forward growth pattern(p<0.05). In girls, the maxilla and mandible showed forward and downward growth pattern(p<0.05). 2. Horizontal growth of both maxilla and mandible in girls was superior to those in boys(A point: girls: 2.39mm, boys: 1.26mm, with p<0.05), whereas vertical growth of both maxilla and mandible in boys was similar to those in girls. 3. The change in tooth axis showed labioversion of upper incisor(p<0.01) and comparatively stable lower incisor position.

        심미수복 재료의 마모와 화학적 분해

        수복재료의 요건으로서 치아의 저작기능과 심미성을 회복할 수 있는 물리적, 화학적 성질뿐만 아니라 생물학적 적합성과 구강내 환경변화에 대한 내구성을 들 수 있다. 불소 방출의 장점을 갖는 컴포머나 시술시간을 줄이는데 유리한 재료인 유동성 복합레진을 유구치부에 사용하려고 할 때 마모저항성과 구강내 환경에서의 분해저항성은 중요한 물성 중 하나이다. 실험에 사용된 복합레진은 최근에 시판되고 있는 Charmfil(Denkist, Korea)과 유동성인 Charmfil flow(Denkist, Korea)이고, 컴포머는 Compoglass F(Ivoclar Vivadent, Liechtenstein)와 유동성인 PrimaFlow(DMG Hamburg, Germany)이었다. 각 제품의 분해저항성과 마모도를 평가하고자 마모시험 후 마모된 면의 깊이를 측정하였고 알칼리성 용액에 보관 시 각 제품의 분해저항성을 무게손실, 표면하 분해층 깊이, 용출된 Si 농도를 기준으로 평가하였고 주사전자현미경과 공촛점 레이저 현미경으로 분해층을 관찰하여 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 1. 무게손실량은 각 제품간 차이를 보이지 않았다(p>0.05). 2. 분해층 깊이는 Compoglass F가 가장 깊었고, PrimaFlow, Charmfil, Charmfil flow 순이었고 Compoglass P와 다른 제품 간에는 유의한 차이를 보였다(p<0.05). 3. Si 용출량은 Charmfil flow가 가장 많았고, Compoglass F가 가장 작았으며 두 제품 간에는 유의한 차이를 보였다(p<0.05). 4. 주사전자현미경 관찰시 표면 양상 및 분해층 깊이를 관찰할 수 있었고 공촛점 레이저 현미경 관찰시 NaOH 용액에 보관한 후 수복재의 기질과 충전제 사이의 결합의 파괴 양상인 분해층 깊이를 관찰할 수 있었다. 5. 마모는 Compoglass F에서 가장 많이 일어났으며, PrimaFlow, Charmfil, Charmfil flow 순이었고 각 제품 간에는 유의한 차이를 보였다.(p<0.05). 6. 각 제품의 Si 용출량과 분해층 깊이 사이(r=0.602, p<0.05), 마모 최대 깊이와 비커스 경도 사이(r=0.501, p<0.05)에는 유의한 상관관계를 보였으나 Si 용출량과 마모 최대 깊이 등 다른 항목간에는 유의한 상관관계를 보이지 않았다.(r=-0.052, p>0.05). 본 연구에서 Compoglass F는 불소 함량은 가장 높았으나 화학적 분해층과 마모깊이가 가장 깊은 것으로 나타났으며 flowable type의 복합레진과 컴포머는 표면 경도와 마모도에서 양호한 결과를 보였다. 이상의 결과 복합레진과 컴포머의 평가요소로서 마모도와 함께 가수분해도 고려되어야 할 것으로 사료된다. The aim of this study was to evaluate the resistance to degradation and to compare the wear resistance characteristics of four esthetic restorative materials in an alkaline solution. The brands studied were Charmfil, Charmfil flow(composite resin), Compoglass F and PrimaFlow(compomer) . The results were as follows: 1. The mass loss were not significantly different among the materials(p〉0.05). 2. The sequence of the degree of degradation layer depth was in descending order by Compoglass F, PrimaFlow. Charmfil, and Charmfil flow. There were significant differences between Compoglass F and the others(p<0.05). 3. The sequence of the Si loss was in descending order by Charmfil flow, Charmfil, PrimaFlow, and Compoglass F. There were significant differences among these materials(p<0.05). 4. When observed with SEM, destruction of bonding between matrix and filler was observed and when observed with CLSM, the depth of degradation layer of specimen surface was observed. 5. The sequence of maximum wear depth was in descending order by Comfoglass, PrimaFlow, Charmfil, and Charmfil flow. There were significant differences among these materials(p<0.05). 6. The correlation coefficient between Si loss and degradation layer depth (r=0.602, p〈0.05), Vicker's hardness number and maximum wear depth (r=0.501, p〈0.05) were relatively high. These results indicate that wear and hydrolytic degradation may be considered to be evaluation factors of composite resins and compomers.

      • 다양한 절삭이송속도로 가공한 A1 7075-T6 소재의 쇼트피닝 전후 피로수명에 관한 연구

        Aluminum alloy 7075-T6 is ideally used for highly stressed parts such as aircraft components because of its excellent strength to weight ratio. This paper presents a study on the effect of feedrate changes on the fatigue life of A1 7075-T6 specimens before and after shotpeening. For this purpose, five groups of specimens, each of which consists of eight specimens, were first machined at five different feedrates (0.05, 0.10, 0.15, 0.20 0.25mm/rev). Half of eight specimens in each group were then peened and the others remained un-peened. Finally, the fatigue life of each specimen was measured by using 4-point rotatry bending machine. In this paper, comparison of fatigue life among ten sets of specimens is presented. One observation is that the fatigue life of unpeened specimens are inversely proportional to the feedrates. On the other hand, the fatigue life of peened specimens are similarly improved regardless of feedrates except 0.05. Based on the results, it is concluded that shotpeening may improve the fatigue life of Aluminium alloy regardless of feedrates. Therefore, machining productivity may also be increased by choosing higher feedrates for structural conponents that need to be strain-hardened by shotpeening after machining
