        Objective : For the purpose of preparing the fundamental data and assessing the status of exposure level of chemical substances and physical agents. Methods and Material : Such as noise, two types of dust, four types of metals, seventeen types of organic solvents, and four types of other materials classified by specific chemical substances in 21 metal product plating factories classified by 28 processes. The author determined exposure level on those hazardous materials from Jan. to Dec. 2001. Results : The results were as follows: 1. The exposure level for noise was exceeded to Threshold Limit Value(TLV) in the process of 6 cases of Machining, 5 and 4 cases of pre and post-buffing, and 6 cases of waterdrop-removing, the mean noise level of all of processes was not exceeded to compliance level. 2. The exposure level for dust was not exceeded to TLV at all. 3. The exposure level for Chromium(Cr) was exceeded to TLV in Chromium plating process, metal exposure level including Zinc(Zn), Manganese(Mn), and Lead(Pb) was not exceeded to TLV. 4. The exposure level of toluene in case of organic solvents was exceeded to TLV in 1 case of finishing/cleaning, coating/developing process, respectively. 5. The exposure level of four types of other materials classified by specific chemical substances were not exceeded to TLV. 6. The exposure level for dust and metal including Zn, Mn, and Pb was decreased in comparison with two results of air monitoring performed. There was no difference of the exposure level for Cr, noise, and four types of other materials classified by specific chemical substances, and the exposure level for organic solvents was slightly increased. 7. The exposure level for noise in factories employing more than 21 workers was higher than that for noise in foadtories employing less than 20 workers. The more workers, the lower exposure level in metal including Zn, Mn. The exposure level for Cr was increasing in factories employing more than 51 workers, and the more workers the lower exposure level in organic solvents. Conclusion : According to above results, this study suggests positive work environment managements in processes exceeding exposure limit value as well as continuously consecutive work environment management in processes not exceeding exposure limit value and revealing no chronological difference of exposure level should be needed.

        CRS, which was initially developed to support airline reservation is now the main part of e-business of airlines, and it decides the degree of prompt and accurate itinerary for travelers due to the remarkable difference in availability inquiry and seats reservation information according to CRS joining level CRS joining level also decides the exactness of reservation, ticketing and traffic data collection and plays the most important role in the exactness of advanced forecast of demand, appropriate seats allocation, and overbooking. Therefore, it provides front end function like seats reservation, schedule display, fare inquiry on-line linked with CRS and back office function like sales result of travel agents, accounting administration, stock administration and customer administration and decides the level of an airline's e-business.

        심초음파로 결정된 응급 심낭천자술의 천자부위

        Background: The aim of this study was to determine whether the conventional subcostal approach is suitable for emergency pericardiocentesis in patients with cardiac tamponade or impending cardiac tamponade. Methods: This study was a prospective, observational study conducted at the emergency department of a tertiary hospital, Patients who had symptomatic pericardial effusion and who needed emergency pericardiocentesis in the emergency department were included in this study. We measured the epicardium-to-pericardium distance at the subcostal, parasternal, and apical area with two-dimensional echocardiography to determine the appropriate puncture site for pericardiocentesis. An epicardium-to-pericardium distance of more than 1.0 cm was considered as the primary safety factor in determining the Puncture site for pericardiocentesis. The skin-to-pericardium distance was considered as secondary safety factor. Results: Ninety-five consecutive patients(55 males and 40 females; total mean age: 53 year old) with cardiac tamponade or impending cardiac tamponade were enrolled in this study. The puncture site for pericardiocentesis, as determined by echocardiography, was the subcostal area in 43 patients(45%), the apical area in 40 patients(42%), the left parasternal area In 11 patients(12%), and the right parastemal area in one patient(1%). Pericardiocentesis failed in 2 patients(2%) with the subcostal approach and in one patient(1%) with the apical approach. The average epicardium-to-pericardium distance was 31 ±21 mm in patients with the subcostal approach and 21±8 mm in patients with other approaches. There were no differences in the amount of pericardial fluid and in the intraperical pressure among patient groups according to puncture site. There were two procedure related complications: a puncture of the right ventricle with the subcostal approach and a ventricular tachycardia with the apical approach.

      • Tunable Charge Injection via Solution-Processed Reduced Graphene Oxide Electrode for Vertical Schottky Barrier Transistors

        <P>We demonstrate, for the first time, the use of a solution-processed reduced graphene oxide (rGO) layer as a work function tunable electrode in vertical Schottky barrier (SB) transistors. The rGO electrodes were deposited by simple spray-coating onto the substrate. The vertical device structure was formed by sandwiching a <I>N</I>,<I>N</I>′-dioctyl-3,4,9,10-perylenedicarboximide (PTCDI-C<SUB>8</SUB>) organic semiconductor between rGO and Al electrodes. By varying the voltage applied to the gate electrode, the work function of rGO and thus the SB formed at the rGO-PTCDI-C<SUB>8</SUB> interface could be effectively modulated. The resulting vertical SB transistors based on rGO-PTCDI-C<SUB>8</SUB> heterostructures exhibited excellent electrical properties, including a maximum current density of 17.9 mA/cm<SUP>2</SUP> and an on–off current ratio >10<SUP>3</SUP>, which were comparable with the values obtained for the devices based on a CVD-grown graphene electrode. The charge injection properties of the vertical devices were systematically investigated through temperature-dependent transport measurements. Charge injection was dominated by thermionic emission at high temperature. As the temperature decreased, however, impurity state-assisted hopping occurred. At low temperature and negative gate voltage, the reduced width of barrier induced by a high drain voltage yielded Fowler–Nordheim tunneling at the interface.         Objectives : The Purpose of this study is to investigate the clinical application of conservative treatment including quadratus lumborum MST for lumbar HIVD(Herniated Intervertebral Disc) with sacralization. Methods : We used acupunture, herbal acupuncture, herbal medicine, Quadratus Lumborum MST for this patient. This patient received hospital treatment for 25 days. Results : After conservative treatment, the patient’s pain was controlled and NRS score was decreased. ODI and ROM also were improved. Conclusions : Oriental conservative treatment including quadratus lumborum MST has a positive effect to control pain of lumbar HIVD(Herniated Intervertebral Disc) with sacralization.

        During the process of melanogenesis, oxidative stress which is one of the main causes of melanocyte damage, is generated from various sources including reactive intermediates, such as NO, and melanin intermediates with oxidant properties. It has been found that NO and NO-induced cyclic guanosine monophosphate (cGMP) pathway plays an important role in Ultraviolet B (UVB)-induced melanogenesis via induction of tyrosinase expression. In an attempt to find a novel compound reducing oxidative stress and melanogenesis, we evaluated anti-inflammatory and NO scavenging effects of (2RS,4R)-2-(2,3- dihydroxyphenyl)thiazolidine-4-carboxylic acid (MHY384) in vitro and in vivo. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of MHY384 on NO mediated melanogenesis in vitro and in vivo, using B16F10 melanoma cell and melanin-possessing hairless mice, HRM2 models, respectively. The NO scavenging activity of MHY384 was evaluated in cell-free system. Our in vitro study determined that MHY384 inhibited melanogenesis via regulating tyrosinase activity by NO-induced cGMP signaling pathway in B16F10 melanoma cells. In vivo experiment was conducted in HRM2 hairless mouse mice which are pre-treated with MHY384 and then irradiated with UVB repeatedly. Expressions of phosphorylated cAMP response element-binding protein (pCREB), tyrosinase, and nuclear Microphthalmia-associated transcription factor (MITF), and NO, peroxynitrite and reactive oxygen species (ROS) were measured by morphological, histological or biochemical analyses.MHY-384 was proved to be effective at scavenging nitric oxide (NO), which serves as an important modulator in the melanogenesis signaling pathway. MHY-384 significantly inhibited 200 μM sodium nitroprusside (SNP, a NO donor)-induced NO generation in dose dependent manner. In addition, MHY-384 suppressed tyrosinase activity and melanin synthesis induced by SNP in B16F10 melanoma cells. The effect of MHY-384 on NO-mediated pathway was also investigated. The gene expressions of tyrosinase and MITF and the protein level of pCREB, which are normally increased by UVB and oxidative stress, were down-regulated by MHY-384. HRM2 hairless mice were used to evaluate anti-melanogenic effects of MHY384 in vivo. It was found that MHY-384 modulated UVB-induced morphological, histological and biochemical changes, such as expression of tyrosinase and nuclear MITF and production of NO, ONOO? and ROS. In conclusion, MHY-384 inhibited NO-mediated melanogenesis by direct NO scavenging as well as reducing the expression of tyrosinase via NO/cGMP signaling pathway. It might be utilized for the development of a new candidate for treatment of the hyper-pigmentation disorders.

        온라인 미디어 플랫폼의 발전 및 코로나19 사태로 디지털 영상 콘텐츠의 양산과 소비가 급증하고 있다. 이용자들은 디지털 영상 콘텐츠를 선택하기 위해 썸네일, 티저 영상 등을 통하여 짧은 시간에 콘텐츠를 파악하고 본인에게 맞는 디지털 영상 콘텐츠를 선정하여 시청하고 있다. 세계 곳곳에서 생산되는 모든 디지털 영상 콘텐츠를 일일이 확인하고, 이용자가 선택할 수 있게 티저 영상을 수작업으로 편집하는 것은 매우 불편한 작업이다. 본 연구에서는 티저 영상을 자동으로 생성하기 위해 YCbCr 컬러 모델을 기반으로 키프레임을 추출하고, 클러스터링 기법을 통해 추출된 키프레임을 최적화한다. 마지막으로 최종 추출된 키프레임을 연결하여 사용자들의 디지털 영상 콘텐츠 확인을 도와 주기 위한 티저 영상을 제작하는 방법을 제시한다. Due to the development of online media platforms and the COVID-19 incident, the mass production and consumption of digital video content are rapidly increasing. In order to select digital video content, users grasp it in a short time through thumbnails and teaser videos, and select and watch digital video content that suits them. It is very inconvenient to check all digital video contents produced around the world one by one and manually edit teaser videos for users to choose from. In this paper, keyframes are extracted based on YCbCr color models to automatically generate teaser videos, and keyframes extracted through clustering are optimized. Finally, we present a method of producing a teaser video to help users check digital video content by connecting the finally extracted keyframes.

      • Extensive cicatricial alopecia due to delayed diagnosis of erosive pustular dermatosis of the scalp in a young woman: its difficulty of diagnosis

        Erosive pustular dermatosis of the scalp (EPDS) is a rare inflammatory disorder of the elderly, characterized by sterile pustules and chronic erosions on the scalp, leading to cicatricial alopecia. Variety types of trauma have been reported as the predisposing factors of EPDS. A 38-year-old woman presented with a 6-year history of progressive erythematous patch with erosions and crusted pustular lesions on her scalp. The lesion initially had begun at the frontal area mimicking seborrheic dermatitis, and developed to the entire scalp. Several treatment methods including systemic and topical steroids, antibiotics and herbal medicine have been tried, but recurrence have continued. She had no history of any other medical problems or trauma history. Skin biopsy revealed mixed dermal infiltrate of lymphocytes and neutrophils. KOH test, bacterial and fungal cultures showed negative results. Systemic steroids and cyclosporine were tried and, after 2 months, the erosive and pustular lesions almost resolved. No recurrence has been observed during 6-month with topical tacrolimus. There is no single diagnostic finding or test that confirms EPDS, so the exclusion of other conditions should be needed to make a diagnosis. Herein, we present a rare case of EPDS occurred in a young woman without any trauma history. Clinicians need keep EPDS in mind when confronting relapsing inflammatory dermatosis of the scalp to prevent permanent cicatricial alopecia.
