The correlation between primary Si and silicide refinement induced by ultrasonic treatment (UST) of multicomponent Al–Sialloy containing Ti, Zr, V, and P was investigated. UST significantly refined the primary Si phase owing to cavitation-inducedwetting and deagglomeration of MgAl2O4particles. Lowering the UST finish temperature caused deterioration of the degreeof primary Si refinement, instead leading to silicide refinement. Cavitation-induced silicide nucleation on wetted MgAl2O4consumed the MgAl2O4particles, particularly in the case of primary Si nucleation. Similarly, the formation of an AlP phaseon the silicide phase reduced the nucleation efficiency of the AlP phase. Poisoning of the MgAl2O4and AlP phases by thesilicide phase was responsible for the deterioration in primary Si refinement. Room-temperature tensile strength and hightemperatureelongation were increased by UST and were dependent on the size of primary Si.

In this study, the process and equipment to recycle wastepaint were designed and development. The characteristic of this recycling process is to improve the recycling efficiency by dividing the previous recycling process into two processes, liquid-phase process and powder-phase process, with the hardness of wastepaint. As the result of this study, we confirm that this process may be helpful to recycle wastepaint.

In this study, The method to produce anticorrosive paint using reproductive wastepaint was investigated. The liquid-phase resin, BHO-500 and powder-phase paint BHO-300 were produced through wastepaint reproductive process. BHO-500 and BHO-300 could be replaced respectively polyvinylchloride resin and filler, which are thr components of anticorrosive paint. The properties of the anticorrosive paint produced through this process were excellent in comparison with the existing anticorrosive paint.
이온샤워 도핑 공정조건에 따른 저온 Poly-Si TFT 전기적 특성에 관한 연구

A large ion beam that was extracted from the bucket ion source and a XeCl excimer laser were utilized for impurity doping and impurity activation. In this work, we studied the activation of impurities according to the change of acceleration voltage and doping time. It is observed that sheet resistance decreases as doping time increases, but over 5min. The phenomenon of hydrogen-eruption is occurred. So we concluded that the adequate doping time is within 5minutes, which has the dose of 5 X 10^(5)/㎠. We found that the dominant ion species are P2Hx^(+) or PHx^(+) for phosphorous ion, which could be changed according to various processing conditions of Ion Shower Doping. In order to reduce the effect of hot carrier stress, Experiments on low energy doping were carried out. As a result of above experiments, low energy doping of lkev appears good crystal and sheet resistance( -530Ω/□) from the analyses of UV-Reflectance and 4-point probe. Experimental results on the acceleration voltage shows that 10kev appears the lowest value of sheet resistance at the whole range of ELA-energy density, which can be explained in tei,ns of the projected range near to thickness of poly-Si.
고로슬래그미분말 대체율에 따른 고품질 콘크리트의 공학적 특성에 관한 실험적 연구

As a part of efforts for conformity of demand in regard to high quality of concrete, blast-furnace slag has been utilized by means of cement replacement. Superior performance can be ensured, environmental pollution can be prevented and economical advantage can be obtained with utilization by cement placement. But the study on the blast-furnace slag is not systematic and reasonable. So, it is planed that basic data in regard to technique of manufacturing and economic improvement of high quality concrete is showed with experimental comparison and investigation of engineering properties of high quality concrete utilized by cement placement of blast-furnace as industry by-product in this study.
다결정 실리콘 트렌지스터의 이온 샤워 도핑과 엑사이머 레이저 activation에 관한 연구

Ion implantation being used in the fabrication process of semi-conductor is utilized for the formation of S/D. But It is difficult to apply to large area glass substrate in the process of TFT-LCD. Also It demands high temperature for the recovery of damage after ion implantation. Therefore, ion shower doping which is non-mass separate and dope directly large ion beam without scanning by D.C voltage is the promising method. In this study, we are going to make clear of material characteristics change after ion shower doping and predict the dominant ion species in ion beam generating according to processing condition of ISD. Also we have proceeded a study for minimizing degradation of gate electrode in laser activation and perfect removal of implant damage and effective impurity activation.
Baculovirus Vector System에 의해 발현된 재조합 Pseudorabies Virus Major Capsid Protein의 면역원성

The recombinant pseudorabies virus major capsid protein (rMCP) was produced by expression of the MCP gene in Sf-9 cell using baculovirus transfer vector system. Following evaluation of the immunochemical properties of the rMCP, the immunogenicity of the recombinant subunit protiens were investigated in guinea pig and swine to obtain the preliminary guide line for the subunit vaccine using rMCP and gP50. It was proved that ultrasonication and 30% ammonium sulfate was most efficient to concentrate and purify the protein. The rMCP was safe in mice, guinea pigs and piglets. In guinea pigs, rMCP mixed with various adjuvants induced substantial degree of serum neutralizing antibody titers, but revealed incomplete protecivity against challenge. In swine, the combination of rMCP and gP50 showed the higher serum neutralizing antibody titers and cellular immune responses than rMCP alone. However, the protectivity was lower in comparison with the commercial gI-deleted inactivated vaccine. We expect these results to contribute to characterization of MCP gene of Korean isolate of PRV and to ultilize as preliminary information for prodution and evaluation of PRV recombinant subunit vaccines.
