      • 재발한 가와사끼병(Kawasaki disease) 1례

        가와사끼병은 5세 미만의 영유아에서 호발하는 급성 전신성 혈관염으로 아직 원인이 밝혀지지는 않았으나 감염성질환 또는 자가면역질환 등으로 추정되고 있다. 1967년 일본의 Tomisaku Kawasaki에 의해 처음 보고되었으며 국내에서도 많은 증례보고가 있어왔다. 가와사끼병은 발열, 발진, 안결막 충혈, 사지말단의 변화, 구강과 입술의 변화, 경부 림프선증 등을 특징으로 하며, 치료로는 면역글로블린의 대량 정주요법과 아스피린이 사용되고 있으며 합병증에는 관상동맥류를 비롯한 심혈관질환이 있고 이로 인한 사망율이 1-2%정도인 것으로 보고되고 있다. 이 질환의 재발은 드문 것으로 되어 있고 일본의 한 보고에 의하면 2-3%로 추정된다. 환아는 6세 남아로 14개월 전 처음 가와사끼병으로 진단받고 감마글로블린과 아스피린을 투약 받았고 당시 심혈관질환은 없었으며 본원 내원시에는 발열, 발진, 안결막 충혈, 붉고 갈라진 입술, 좌측 림프선병증과 손, 발의 부종이 있어 가와사끼병의 진단기준을 만족하였다. 환아는 역시 감마글로블린과 아스피린으로 치료받고 증세가 호전되었으며, 심초음파 검사상 관상동맥의 확장이나 관상동맥류의 증거는 없었다. 저자들은 가와사끼병의 재발 1례를 경험하였기에 보고하는 바이다. Kawasaki disease, acute systemic vasculitis, that usually occurs in infant and young children. The etiology is unknown, but is supposed to be infectious disease or autoimmune disease. Kawasaki disease was first reprted by Tomisaku Kawasaki at 1967 and then many cases have been reported in Korea. Kawasaki disease was characterized by fever, rash, conjunctival injection, changes of extremities, changes of oral cavity and lips, lymphadenopathy and has been treated with intravenous gammaglobulin and aspirin. The complications are cardiovascular lesions including coronary aneurysm and coronary thrombosis. Mortality is approximately 1-2%. Recurrence is rare and 2-3% in Japanese reports. A 6-year-old boy presented with the fever, rash, conjunctivitis, red fissured lips, left lymphadenapathy, and hands and feet edema. He had been treated with intravenous gammaglobulin and aspirin for Kawasaki disease 14 months ago. At that time, he didn't have cardiovascular lesion. He was also treated with intravenous gammaglobulin and aspirin at this episode. We didn't detect coronary artery dilatation or coronary aneurysm. So, authors report a case of recurrent Kawasaki disease.

      • FAC-Biofilm과 F-A 시스템에 의한 下水處理 特性

        Through the comparative experiment of FAC-Biofilm and F-A system using the wastewater treated by FAC process, the following conclusions ca be drawn form the results of this research. 1. Despite the fluctuation of influent concentrations, FAC process showed that since the wastewater qualities treated by it were within the range of effluent quality regulation, it was adequate as pretreatment process 2. The results of comparative experiments of FAC-Biofilm and F-A system presented that for COD and SS removal, all of both system resulted in a desirable removal rate, but NH_(4)-N was largly reduced by Biofilm process. Particulary, phosphorus removal was more effective to pass through the biofilm process after coagulation and sedimentation. 3. The waste sludge amount in FAC process was calculated by the equation of that of Contact-Stabilization Method, because MLSS concentration in reaeration basin keep being constant could be anticipated steady-state in operation the FAC process.

      • 가스관의 원격장와전류 탐상실험에서 관찰된 결함신호의 특성

        When the identical coils are used for the exciter and sensor in the remote field eddy current (RFEC) probe, two defect indications appear in a single defect signal. The two indications are expected to be the same according to numerical simulation study. However, in our previous experimental work on 1" diameter ferromagnetic tube, we had found that the two indications in a phase signal are not identical and it may be possible to estimate the defect depth by comparing the two indications in a single phase signal. In this paper, those findings are re-examined with gas pipes whose diameter is 48.8 mm. At first, the operating frequency and the coil spacing in a probe are decided. Secondly, defect specimens are designed and built after examining edge effects and the signal sensitivity to the distance between sensor and defect. The RFEC testing experiments using these specimens show the same tendency as appeared in 1" diameter tube, i.e., the defect indication that appears in a phase signal as the exciter coil passes a defect is smaller for shallow defects, but it becomes bigger than the other for deep defects. This finding seems to be very important since it enables us to estimate the defect depth without preparing calibration curves for various depths of defects.

        In examining Dewey’s aesthetic experience with regard to religious experience, this study has found that Dewey’s view of the religion is achieved through aesthetic experience. Dewey insisted humanistic common religion, and opposed any kind of faith which was based on a specific denomination or sect. For Dewey, religious experience, as a nature of experience, can belong to any human experience be it aesthetic, scientific, maral, political, or social. Religious education can be said to realize ideals and values through man’s imagination, and this religious eduation is in accord with general education. Therefore, religious education can be best achieved by realizing their ideals through developing imagination, by having children have aesthetic experiences through providing religious situations. However, in writer’s opinion Dewey’s view about the religion is not religious. Because Dewey did not discuss of Human death, heavenly Kingdom, the Future World, repentance etc., But Dewey’s view to the religious experience is much thinkful to the religious education. The fact, we can feel the divine imagination from the aesthetic experience, in the church’s interior or sacred music or hymns, more than from the sermon of creeds or the supernatural. Dewey rejects such religious education as teaching students to have faith in God, a supernatural and absolute being. In Dewey’s view, religious education in schools should keep children to have religious experience, which lead children to a devotional and meaningful life.

        In this paper, it is proposed to constant power control of solar power system. The solar power system has disadvantage that low power density and variable power output. Proposed strategy is controled by DC/DC converter using phase shift PWM and I-PD type control applying type 1 digital system. The validity of proposed control strategy is verified from simulations results using PSIM.

        In this paper, a new approach to modeling of static and dynamic systems using clustering techniques. To express the various and complex behavior of systems, we combine multiple model method. The Gustafson-Kessel algorithm is used in partitioning of system, and Takaei Sugeno rule structure is adopted to form the fuzzy rules. According to simulation, the performance of fuzzy modeling technique is evaulated.

        This study is designed to present the basic data of rational design in the middle school of variation type which is newly attempted in Korea after the 7th National Curriculum. For this, the design research report of 14 middle schools –which researched and reported recently- was compared and analyzed after examining the theoretical precedent analysis and the change of related laws about school facilities. The result is as follows. 1) The total area per each class is inclined to increase steadily. 2) The arrangement of a finger plan type is largely made up. 3) The media space is optionally set up in each subject. 4) The home base is showed variously from 8.1㎡ to 37.4㎡. 5) The each variation classroom is inclined to be contiguous according to the characteristic of each subject and the mutual relation.

        세가지 니켈 티타늄 파일의 휨과 비틀림 조건에서의 응력 분포에 관한 3차원 유한요소 연구

        이 연구의 목적은 세가지 니켈-티타늄 파일의 휨과 회전 조건 하에서의 응력 분포를 유한요소 모형을 이용하여 비교하는 것이다. ProFile .06/#30, ProTaper와 ProTaper Universal의 F3파일을 마이크로컴퓨터 단층촬영을 하고 reverse engineering을 통하여 세 니켈 티타늄 파일의 구조를 얻고 삼차원 유한요소모형을 제작하였다. 니켈 티타늄 합금의 비선형적인 물리적 성질을 반영하고 ABAQUS 프로그램을 이용하여 휨과 회전 조건 하에서의 기계적인 움직임을 수학적으로 예측 분석하였다. U-형태의 단면 구조를 가진 ProFile이 모형 가운데 가장 좋은 휨 성질을 나타냈다. 동일한 휨량 조건에서는 볼록한 삼각형 단면의 ProTaper가 다른모형보다 많은 힘을 필요로 하였으며, 반면에 가장 높은 von Mises 응력은 ProTaper Universal의 단면에서 움푹 파인 부위에 집중되었다. ProFile 모형은 동일한 크기의 회전력에 대해 가장 큰 응력 집중을 U-형 구 부위에 나타냈다. ProTaper 모형은 다른 모형에 비해 동일량을 비틀기 위해 더 많은 힘을 필요로 하였으며, 반면에 동량의 비틀림에서는 가장 높은 von Mises 응력이 ProTaper Universal의 단면에서 움푹 파인 부위에 집중되었다. Flexibility and fracture properties determine the performance of NiTi rotary instruments. The purpose of this study was to evaluate how geometrical differences between three NiTi instruments affect the deformation and stress distributions under bending and torsional conditions using finite element analysis. Three NiTi files (ProFile .06 / #30, F3 of ProTaper and ProTaper Universal) were scanned using a Micro-CT. The obtained structural geometries were meshed with linear, eight-noded hexahedral elements. The mechanical behavior (deformation and von Mises equivalent stress) of the three endodontic instruments were analyzed under four bending and rotational conditions using ABAQUS finite element analysis software. The nonlinear mechanical behavior of the NiTi was taken into account. The U-shaped cross sectional geometry of ProFile showed the highest flexibility of the three file models. The ProTaper, which has a convex triangular cross-section, was the most stiff file model. For the same deflection, the ProTaper required more force to reach the same deflection as the other models, and needed more torque than other models for the same amount of rotation. The highest von Mises stress value was found at the groove area in the cross-section of the ProTaper Universal. Under torsion, all files showed highest stresses at their groove area. The ProFile showed highest von Mises stress value under the same torsional moment while the ProTaper Universal showed the highest value under same rotational angle.

        틸락의 自治運動에 관한 고찰

        One of the most important character of the Theravada Buddhism different with other religions, is the self-relief through self-practise. In spite of whoever want to attain the Arahatship which is the goal of this religion by oneself in Theravada Buddhism, there is non self-belief ritual ; it is Pirit ceremony in Sri Lanka, Burma and Thailand. The Pirit means protection in short. This ceremony is originate in Sakyamoni Buddha's teaching when he was in Vesali in India. At that time that area was in serious disease and he protect those with this ceremony. This is for protecting someone from dhukkah (painfulness) and praying the happiness and fortunateness. For this ceremony, the specific suttas, like Mangala Sutta, Ratana Sutta and Karaniya Metta Sutta and so on., are Chanted by several monks. But the suttas which is explained on this is not so many because this ceremony is not the best way to obtain the Supreme goal in Theravada Buddhism. Cuddhist monks chant long time as much as whole night or several days, sometimes upto seven days continually. To complete this ceremony the special building named Pirit Mandapaya also is built of beatle trees with variant materials, a book which is called Maha Perit Pota is provided and some othere equipment like threads(pirit - nul), light, water, flower and perfume and so on. Are provided. However doing this ceremony is not the all of the Theravada Buddhism. In Theravada Buddhism also, the Supreme Goal is to attain the Arahatship through one's own practice.
