Design of a Gain Scheduled PID Controller for the Precision Stage in Lithography

This paper presents a novel PID gain scheduling controller using a root mean square (RMS) signal for the precise positioning stage in lithography process. Low perturbation in stage regulation is a very important issue and it significantly affects the quality of the lithography process. Perturbation in regulation control is also referred as stage hunting, and usually the stage hunting has a tendency to be decreased if the control bandwidth of the system is reduced. However, in this case the control system will be very weak against small disturbances such as electrical noise or even structural vibration of the building in which the stage is installed. In this paper, a gain scheduling control scheme using a real-time RMS converter chip is proposed to minimize stage hunting and simultaneously maximize immunity to disturbances. For the test of the proposed control scheme, an air levitated precision stage was designed and used for experiments. Simulations were conducted by MATLAB to model and analyze the stage and controller. The simulation and experimental results are presented to verify the effectiveness of the proposed control scheme for the precision positioning stage, as compared with a conventional PID controller.

Aspects of Nonverbal Communication as Language Behavior

Eisenberg와 Smith의 主張에 의하면, 非言語的 意思傳達의 領域은 "말을 使用하지 않는 意思傳達"이라고 하며 Wenburg와 Wilmot는 "언어(말) 以外의 모든 傳達緖端"를 통하여 非言語的意思傳達行爲가 遂行된다고 主張한다. 非言語的 傳達을 爲한 象徵으로는 身體行動ㆍ얼굴 表情ㆍ눈 表情ㆍ空間과 時間의 活用ㆍ觸角行爲 等을 꼽을 수 있는데, 이들은 각기 文化圈에 따라 多樣한 差異를 보인다. 여기에서 文化의 定義를 擧論함으로써 非言語的 行動樣式과 文化와의 관계를 明確히 할 수 있다. Edward B. Tylor, Ralph Linton, Clyde Kluckohn, 그리고 C.A. Ellwood의 文化에 관한 定義를 紹介하면서 非言語的 行動樣式이 文化圈에 따라 달라짐으로 因한 文化的 衝擊(Culture Shock)을 論하고 多樣한 文化의 變異에 不拘한 基底恒存類似性(Underlying Similarities)도 指摘하면서 論述하였다. 價値觀, 異考樣式, 文化觀, 非言語的 要素 等이 純粹自然言語 못지 않게 思考傳達活動에 크게 寄與하고 있음을 論證함으로써 社會言語學的 立場에서의 言語硏究에 一助가 되고자 試圖하였다.

문법적 틀에 박혀 있는 표현들에 얽매여 사전적 의미 내지 교과서적 일상표현에만 집착해온 종래의 영어학습관행으로 말미암아 우리는 영미인과의 대화과정에서 단도직입적으로 결론적이고도 거두절미식의 대화표현만을 나열하는 우스꽝스러움을 종종 체험한다. 중간중간에 적절히 상황연결식 표현을 삽입할줄 모르는 원인은 한영표현에 자신감이 없다는 것에서 여실히 입증된다. 언어행위는 상황전개에 필요한 각 단계마다 요구되는 쉽고도 적절한 표현들이 잘 조화를 이룰때 유창하고 자신있는 대화로 성립될 수 있는 것이다. 쉬운 한국어 표현을 영어로 옮기는 노력과 더불어 쉬운 영어표현을 한국어로 이해하려는 노력이 절실히 요구된다. 영미인과의 지속적인 접촉을 통하여 그들의 사고방식과 언어습관을 익히는 과정을 수없이 반복함으로써 영어다운 영어를 구사할 수 있는 날이 까까워질 것이라는 것을 밝혀두고자 한다.

디지털계의 구성을 위한 다양성 잉여수 연산회로의 설계에 관한 연구

Digital Systems are increasingly being used in the range of instrumentation and control engineering. An efficient implemintation of digital filter based on the residue number systems(RNS) are studied. The RNS offers the possibility of high speed operation and error detection/correction because of the parallel arithmitic operation on each digit. On this paper, A flexible multiplier circuit design is persented for more high reliablity RNS digital systems.

本 論文은 半導體 IC에 適合한 gyrator 回路의 한 構成方法을 提案한다. 먼저 回路 基本 構成要素인 電壓電流變換機 (VCT)의 實驗方法에 對해서 論하고 다음으로 VCT 에 의해 構成된 Gyrator의 Q特性 off set 電壓의 素子 感度에 對한 考案을 通해 實驗結果와 比較 하고 있다. 다시 變회 Conductance의 對戰源電壓, 對 園溫渡等에 對한 實驗을 行하고 있다. 마지막으로 聯立 高城 filter를 構成하여 實驗을 하고 이들의 實驗結果에 의해 Q 가 數百인 安全한 Gyrator를 實現可能함을 나타내고 있다. This paper propose an ideal Gyrator by means of a semi-conductor IC. The first thing consdered is the theorem of fucdamental circuits, and how to construct a Voltage- Current Transformer(VCT). secondly, this paper compares the circuits character and the results of the experiments. The results of these experiments show a method for making a very good (high)Q Gyrator.
