The experiments were performed in a high temperature furnace to examine the effects of the temperature difference between the single round jet and the surrounding fluid on the characteristics of impinging heat transfer. It was found that the average heat transfer coefficient increased in proportion to 1.5th power of the jet velocity, which was higher than that of previous measurements in which the jet temperature was the same as the ambient temperature. since the jet is thermally mixed with its surroundings, the heat transfer increases as the nozzle-to-surface distance decreases. The maximum average heat transfer occurred at the nozzle-to-surface distance normalized by the nozzle diameter.

The purpose of this study is to present an improved the construction method of slab form combined with ceiling finish. The current integration construction method has some waste factors ; unnecessary process, rework, time & cost waste. Therefore the study applied the value stream analysis methodology for efficient improvement of current process. The main contents of the study are as follows ; 1) Waste factors of current process were analyzed through current state mapping(CSM). 2) An improved process was suggested through future state mapping(FSM). 3) Cost reduction effect by process improvement was also analyzed. The study recommends that development of technique to eliminate waste factors and application of the construction method of slab form combined with ceiling finish should be increased.
뇨(尿)중 3-Methylhistidine 함량의 측정과 이용

기존의 방법을 일부 수정하여 뇨중 3-methylhistidine을 분석하였다. 뇨중 3-methylhistidine을 fluorescamine 유도체화하여 HPLC에 주입하고 C_18 column과 10 mM acetonitrile/sodium phosphate buffer(pH 7.5)로 분리·용출시켜 형광검출기로 측정하였다. 3-methylhistidine의 체류시간은 7분 이내이었으며, histidine과의 분리상태도 서로 간섭함이 없이 양호하였다. 뇨에 3-methylhistidine을 첨가하고 이를 분석하였을 때의 회수율은 93∼106%로 높은 수준이었다. 체육학과 남학생중 웨이트 트레이닝 단련자와 비단련자를 대상으로 조사한 단기간의 웨이트 트레이닝에 따른 뇨중 3-methylhistidine 함량의 변화는 두 집단 모두 웨이트 트레이닝후의 3-methylhistidine 분비량이 유의하게 증가하였다. A modified method is given for the precolumn derivatization and subsequent high-pressure liquid chromatographic seperation of 3-methylhistidine from urine. The elution contained isocratic solution with acetonirile and 10 mM sodium phosphate(pH 7.5) requires less than 7 min. The recoveries of 3-methylhistidine from urine control were 93% to 106%. 3-Methylhistidine determinations were performed on urine samples from volunteers who were both male trained and non-trained physical undergraduates. As the result, urinary 3-methylhistidine content of volunteers increased significantly after weight training.
PVD 방법에 의한 TiN barrier metal 형성과 공정개발

Ar과 N₂?가스가 혼합된 분위기에서 반응성 스퍼터링 방법에 의하여 TiN 박막을 증착하였다. N₂ 가스의 농도는 화학양론적으로 TiN이 형성되는 조건에 맞도록 조절하였으며, 기판의 온도는 실온에서 부터 700℃의 범위내로 유지하였다. (111) texture 구조를 가지면서 화학양론적으로 Ti??N??인 박막은 기판의 온도가 600℃ 이상에서 형성되었고, 기판의 온도가 600℃ 이하에서는 형성된 박막은 N-과다형이었다. XRD, XPS 및 RBS 분석 결과 TiN 박막의 조성비는 기판의 온도에서 다소 의존하였으나 약 5% 이내에 불과하였다. TiN 박막의 면저항은 기판온도의 증가에 따라 감소하였고, 기판온도가 600℃에서 증착된 TiN 박막의 면저항능 14.5Ω/□ 였고, Ar―가스 분위기에서 700℃로 30초간 열처리한 후는 8.9Ω/□ 이었다. 따라서 반응성 스퍼터링방법에 의하여 형성되는 양질의 TiN 박막은 기판온도가 600℃이상이 최적조건임을 알았다. Titanium nitride (TiN) films were prepared by reactive sputter deposition in mixed gas of Ar+N₂?. The volume percentage of N₂ in the working gas was chosen so as to grow stoichiometric TiN films and the substrate temperature during film growth was set from room temperature to 700℃. stoichiometric Ti??N?? films with (111) texture were grown at temperatures over 600℃, while films prepared at temperatures below 600℃ showed N-rich TiN. The composition x and y in the Ti??N?? films determined by XPS and RBS varied within 5% with the substrate temperature. The sheet resisstance of the TiN films decreases as the substrate temperature increased. TiN film prepared at 600℃ showed 14.5Ω/□, and it decreased to 8.9Ω/□ after the sample was annealed at 700℃, 30 sec in Ar-gas ambient by RTA. By far, high quality stoichiometric TiN films by reactive sputtering in the mixed gas ambient could be prepared at substrate temperature over 600℃.
결절성 및 괴상성 간세포암에서 역동적 전산화단층촬영 소견에 따른 경동맥화학색전술결과의 예측

Purpose: To evaluate retrospectively whether it is possible to predict the transarterial chemoembolization(TACE) result with the pre-TACE dynamic CT findings. Materials and Methods: The dynamic CT findings of 33 patients with 35 nodular and 8 massive hepatocellular carcinoma(HCCs) who was taken follow up CT after TACE, were reviewed retrospectively. After excluding the diffuse or infiltrative HCCs, the mass was classified into two groups of nodular and massive types. The size, location, degree of enhancement, pseudocapsule, portal vein(PV) thrombosis and arterioportal(AP) shunt were evaluated on the dynamic CT scans. The vascularity, multiple or parasitic blood supply, AP shunt and the possibility of superselection were considered on the angiography. After TACE, the pattern of lipiodol uptake and residual enhancing nodules were evaluated on the follow-up CT scans. Results: The good TACE results could be obtained in 18 of 35 nodular HCCs with dynamic CT findings of small size(mean=2.94cm), peripheral location, hyper-or iso-enhancement, and absence fo PV thrombosis, with angiographic finding of possible superselection, but the pseudocapsule did not give important effect on the result. Most of the massive HCCs had poor TACE results. Conclusion: The prediction of the TACE results of nodular and massive HCCs was possible with dynamic CT findings. If the good prognostic factors were not observed on the pre-TACE dynamic CT, the multiple TACE and/or combination therapy with percutaneous ethanol injection(PEI), surgical resection or others should be considered for the effective control of the HCCs.

This study aims to determine the distribution of T lymphocytes and their relationship with clinicopathologic factors in endometrial carcinoma. Samples were collected from 89 patients with endometrial endometrioid adenocarcinoma treated in Pusan National University Hospital from 2004 to 2011. Normal endometrial tissues were obtained from 30 women and served as controls. Immunohistochemical staining for CD8 (cytotoxic) and CD4 (helper) T lymphocytes was performed on paraffin-embedded sections.The relationship of these cells with stage, histological grade, myometrial invasion, and lymph node metastasis was analyzed. The rate of CD8+andCD4+lymphocytes in the endometrial endometrioid adenocarcinoma tissues was 67.4% (60/89) and 44.9% (40/89), respectively, which were significantly higher (p< 0.05) than that in the control group. The rate of CD8+ lymphocytes expression was negatively correlated with histologic grade, myometrial invasion and lymph node metastasis. The proportion of infiltration of the CD4+ lymphocytes was negatively correlated with histologic grade and myometrial invasion. The high rate of infiltration of T lymphocytes was negatively correlated with histologic grade, myometrial invasion and lymph node metastasis. Tumor-infiltrating T lymphocytes may be used as pathologic prognostic factors in endometrial carcinoma.

Seven commercial soybean paste were tested, for ACE inhibition effect. In purification of ACE inhibitor from No. 2 soybean paste, acetone fraction (50∼80%) had 57% protein yield with 92.8% ACE inhibition effect. Inhibitor was purified from acetone fraction of soybean paste by Sephadex G-25, Sephadex LH-20 and ODS column chromatography and HPLC. IC_(50) value of the purified inhibitor was 0.6 ㎎/㎖. The inhibitor showed the competitive inhibition patterns on ACE. Amino acid analysis showed that the peptides consist of Ala, Phe, Leu, Glu, Gly, Ser, and Asp.

Tamoxifen is a synthetic non-steroid anti-estrogen that has been used effectively for several years in the adjuvant treatment of breast cancer. But, the drug has been associated with development of endometrial poylp, hyperplasia and adenocarcinoma possibly mediated through its agonistic estrogen properties during the menopausal period in which estrogens are at a low level. Endometrial polyp has been described as the most common endometrial pathology in association with postmenopausal tamoxifen treatment. We present the case of woman with a giant endometrial polyp of uncommon dimension who was receiving adjuvant tamoxifen for 5 years after breast cancer surgery.
