        강원도 화천군 수달(Lutra lutra) 서식지의 식생 구조

        In order to determine whether vegetation would be one of the factors for the selection of otter home range, vegetation structure and other potential factors were studied in Hwacheon, Korea. Thirteen sites, otter’s activity found and not found, were investigated in North Han River and connected tributary streams of Hwacheon-gun. Three types of vegetation were classified by cluster analysis, which is short grass, tall grass and shrub type. Vegetation zone of each channel is composed of either one type, or mosaic of tall grass and shrub type. Short grass type is common in Lake Paro and upper North Han-river where water level is highly variable throughout a year. Therefore, annual species such as Persicaria nodosa, Fimbristylis dichotomam and Chenopodium ficifolium are the most dominant. Shrub type is common at the downstream sites of Jichon stream and along mainstream of North Han River down Lake Paro. A shrub species, Salix koreensis, is the most common. Tall grass type is dominant occupying the most vegetation zone of the tributary channels. Phragmites japonica is absolutely dominant. Due to its dense cover, a few plant species are co-existed. Otter activity was found in all three vegetation types and no marked activity was found at some sites of tall grass type. There is no difference in species composition and physiognomy between tall grass sites with and without otter activity, while it shows significant difference in fish availability between two groups. Overall we found that home range of otters in the region is along the mainstream and downstream of tributary streams with high fish availability in all vegetation types and in various human activity levels.

      • Trioctylamine에 의한 유기산의 추출

        For elucidation of various parameter's effect on the reactive extraction of organic acidstrioctylamine(TOA)-diluents system, the association model, equilibrium constants and extraction factors(loading) were investigated . The organic acids rosed were propionic. succinic, masonic, and benzoic acid. Extractant was tertiary amine, TOA and diluents were butylaeohol, hexane, and benzene. It was concluded that the loading of monobasic acid of propionic acid were higher than that of dibasic acids of oxalic, and malonic acid with extranctant TOA. In the extraction of monobasic acid the extraction factor was not affected by the initial concentration of extractant amine, but in the extraction of dibasic acids the extraction factor was getting better with decreasing the initial concentration of amine. There was a strong effect of diluents upon the extractien factor, and the order of these factor was as shown below: xylene<Benzene<butylalcohol<choloroform<methylisobutylketone.

      • 공생별의 고분산 분광선 연구 - CI Cyg 방출선

        1998년 9월 12일 (위상 □ = 0.90)와 2002년 8월 12일 (□ = 0.47)에 Aller 와 Hyung이 관측한 Lick 천문대의 HES 고분산 분광 자료, 그리고 2009년 10월 21일 (□ = 0.54) 보현산 천문대에서 형식과 이성재가 관측한 BOES 고분산 분광자료를 이용해 공생별 CI Cyg를 연구하였다. 방출선 윤곽과 선세기는 관측시기의 별 위상에 따라 변화를 보였다. 우리는 O I, O III, [O I], [O III], N III, [S III], Si II 선들의 윤곽을 제시하고, 이를 통해 공생별CI Cyg를 구성하는 뜨거운 백색왜성과 M4 분광형을 가진 차가운 적색거성 주변 가스의 물리적 조건에 대해 논의 하였다. We investigated the high dispersion HES data of the Symbiotic star CI Cyg observed at Lick Observatory on September 12th, 1998 (phase □ = 0.90) and on August 12th, 2002 (□ = 0.47) by Aller and Hyung. along with the BOES data observed at Bohyunsan Observatory on October 21st, 2009 (□ = 0.54) by Hyung and Lee. The emission line profiles and their line intensities show change depending on the phase of different observing periods. We present the line profiles of O I, O III, [O I], [O III], N III, [S III], and Si II and discuss the physical condition of the nebulous gas surrounding two components of the symbiotic star CI Cyg, i.e., a small hot white dwarf and a cold M4 type red giant star.

        추황배(Pyrus pyrifolia Nakai cv. Chuhwangbae) 과피로부터 1종의 Sterol과 3종의 배당체 화합물의 단리·동정

        본 연구에서는 배의 유용성 증명을 위한 일환으로 배의 화학성분을 분자수준에서 밝히고자 하였다. 이에 배 과피 MeOH 추출물을 용매분획하여 얻은 EtOAc-산성 분획과 EtOAc-중성분획을 대상으로 Sephadex LH-20, silica gel, 그리고 ODS colmn chromatography와 HPLC를 이용하여 정제 및 단리하였다. 그 결과, EtOAc-산성 분획과 EtOAc-중성 분획으로부터 각각 2종씩의 화합물을 단리하였다. 단리된 화합물 1-4는 1H- 및 13C-NMR 분석을 통하여 각각 (S)-(+)-2-cis-abscisic acid O-β-D-glucopyranosyl ester (화합물 1), 1-[4-O-β-D-glucopyranosyl]phenyl ethanone(piceoside, 화합물 2), β-sitosterol (화합물 3), 그리고 β-sitosteryl 3-O-β-D-glucopyranoside (화합물 4)로 동정되었다. 단리된 3종의 배당체 화합물(화합물 1, 2, 4)들은 본 연구에 의해 배로부터 처음 동정되었으며, 화합물 3은 추황배로부터 처음 동정되었다. 본 연구결과가 배 함유 성분연구는 물론 배의 기능성 해명 연구에도 추후 중요한 기초자료로 활용되길 기대한다. We isolated and identified antioxidants from acidic and neutral ethyl acetate fractions of the peel of pear (Pyrus pyrifolia N. cv. Chuhwangbae). We isolated 4 compounds from the methanol extract, by using 3 different types of column chromatography (Sephadex LH-20, silica gel, and octadecylsilane) and preparative HPLC. We identified the isolated compounds as (S)-(+)-2-cis-abscisic acid O-β-D-glucopyranosyl ester (compound 1), 1-[4-O-β-D-glucopyranosyl]phenyl ethanone (picroside, compound 2), β-sitosterol (compound 3), and β-sitosteryl 3-O-β-D-glucopyranoside (compound 4) by nuclear magnetic resonance analysis. We are the first to report the identification of compounds 1, 2, and 4 from pear.

      • 지방족 C -아민류 추출제에 의한 유기산의 반응 추출

        The effects of extractant species, concentration, solvent and temperature on the degree of extraction were investigated, and also the effects of concentration of stripping phase and temperature on the degree of re-extraction were investigated in physical and reactive extraction system using equilibrium extraction unit. The used organic acids were acrylic acid, methacrylic acid, pyruvic acid, α-ketoglutaric acid, and the extractants were n-octylamine(OA, primary amine), di-n-octylamine(DOA, secondary amine), tri-n-octylamine(TOA, tertiary amine) and Aliquat 336. (TOMAC, quaternary ammonium salt). N-butylacetate(n-BAc), methyl-isobutyl-ketone(MIBK), chloroform, xylene and kerosene were used as solvents. The effect of the degree of re-extraction was investigated using alkaline solution of NaOH and Na₂CO₃. We found that the degree of extraction for reactive extraction was 2∼9 times than that for physical extraction and that the effect of extractants on the degree of extraction of organic acid was the order of OA>TOMA>DOA>TOA. And the degree of extraction was increased with increasing the concentration of extractants. In solvent effect, solubility parameter was more effective than dielectric constant of solvent, and the degree of extraction increased as the difference of solubility parameter of solvent and solute decreased, therefore the order was kerosene>xylene>chloroform>MIBK>n-BAc. Also, the degree of re-extraction increased with decreasing basicity of stripping phase, therefore, the degree of re-extraction for re-extraction of organic acid was higher in Na₂CO₃solution than in NaOH solution. As a result of the effect of temperature, the degree of extraction was decreased and re-extraction was increased with increasing temperature, respectively.

      • 폐흡충에 의한 무균성 노흉에 대한 돼지꼬리형 도관(pig-tail catheter)을 이용한 치료의 효과

        Background: Pulmonary paragonimiasis is caused by consumption of raw or improperlycooked crustacea infected with the laval stage (metacercaria) of Paragonimus westermani. The most characteristic symptoms were rust-colored sputum and cough. Paragonimiasis causes pleural thickening or effusion in 48% of the patients. Pleuro-pulmonary paragonimiasis can be easily overlooked by physicians who do not suspect this disease in the differential diagnosis. Method: We compared the outcomes of 11 patients with paragonimus empyema managed either through thoracotomy or pig-tail catheter drain. These patients were confirmed by food history, clinical and radiological findings, and laboratory data. Results: The male and female ratio was 1.75 : 1, and mean age was 40.0 ± 13.5 years. AII patients had pulmonary symptoms such as cough or chest pain. Serum-ELISA for paragonimiasis were all positive (mean titer was 0.57). AII patients had pleural effusion in radiological findings( 2 patients had bilateral pleural effusion). All patients received praziquantel (75 ㎎/㎏/day for 3days). Two patients were treated with thoracotomy and nine patients were treated with pig-tail drain. Hospital stay were 14.5 days in thoracotomy group and 5.6 days in pig-tail group respectively, Conclusion: Compared to the conventional thoracotomy grouP, the patients with paragonimus empyema who received pig-tail catheters had a significantly-decreased period of drain in situ, were clinically improved earlier, and were discharged earlier.

      • 쓰레기 소각재를 사용한 시멘트 모르터의 물리적 특성에 관한 연구

        The purpose of this study was to use daily waste incinerated ash, which was reclaimed worthlessly, as substitutes of fine aggregates in concrete. Various kinds of admixture was utilized to strengthen the cement mortar mixed with waste incinerated ash, and altered the curing condition to diminish the rate of expansion. By the results of this experiment, it was possible to produce the lightweight concrete, charactered with the gravity below 1.5 and over 160kg/㎠ compressive strength by replacing all fine aggregates with waste incinerated ash. It was also observed that the low temperature curing condition, lessoned gas exhausts, was effective to increase the strength of cement mortar.

      • 괴상석탄재와 폐주물사를 사용한 경량모르터의 물성에 관한 연구

        In this study, bottom ash, lightweight aggregate, and Expanded Polystyrene was used to lighten the mortar. In order to compensate the reduction of strength caused by lightening, the waste foundry sand produced as soild waste was substituted for fine aggregate. As the device of reducing the ratio of absorption, the procedure of mixture was altered to check the effectiveness of surface coating of porous lightweight aggregate. It was observed over 170kg/㎠ compressive strength at about 1.3, and over waste foundry sand, and the ratio of absorption was decreased over 10% by changing the procedure of mixture.

      • 계층적 구조를 이용한 발전기 계통의 상태궤환 최적제어

        This paper presents a new algorithm of three-level optimal control for non-linear systems. The method replaces the solution of all level differential equation with the solution of an algorithm equation by Single Term Walsh Series. Also, the proposed algorithm is applied to actual non-linear systems such as power systems, because hardware and software are simplified using Fast Walsh Transformer.
