Mycobacterium scrofulaceum에 의한 마우스 폐의 Superoxide Dismutase유도

This study was undertaken to investigate whether the induction of superoxide dismutase in the lung was affected by infection with M. scrofulaceum. In addition, association between the plasmidbearing and induction of superoxide dismutase(SOD) were investigated with various strains of M. scrofulaceum. When M. scrofulaceum were injected to ICR-JCL mouse intravenously, type 42 CDC 1198 and type 43 Brooks strains induced superoxide dismutase in the lungs, which no significant changes in the activity of superoxide dismutase in the spleen were observed. Strains of M. scrofulaceum which possessed a large plasmid(>80 Kb)induced much oxygen metabolites in the host than the plasmidless strains. This result suggests that more virulent strains of M. scrofulaceum induces the activity of superoxide dismutase in the host to protect the injuries from the reactive oxygen species during the infection.

A survey of sanitary and qualitative control of raw and market milk in Chonnam district was carried out in quest of the grade of propriety by the legal standards. For this study 149 raw milk samples, which were taken from the pastures in Chonnarn district, were collected from the milk plants and l61 market milk samples were collected from the shops in Gwang-3u city- In order to survey the status of control of raw milk in every pasture, the pastures were divided into three groups. A group was the pasture raising more than 20 cows; B group, 10 ~ 20 cows; C group, less 10 cows. The results obtained were as follows: 1. The mean value of specific gravity was 1.029, acidity was 0.14 per cent and fat content was 3.2 per cent in i49 raw milk samples, and 1.029, 0.13 per cent and 3. 1 per cent in 161 market milk respectively. The passing rates by legal standards of specific gravity, acidity and fat content in raw milk were 78.7 per cent, 96.7 per cent and 75.3 per cent, and in market milk 66.5 per cent, 97.5 per cent and 66.5 per cent respectively. The fact that except for acidity the passing rates of market milk in specific gravity and fat content were less than those of raw milk indicated unfit processing for market milk by the milk plants. 2. The acceptable level for bacterial numbers in raw milk by legal standard were 65.1 per cent by standard plate count and 69.8 per cent by direct microscopic count. The acceptable level by legal standards for bacterial number in raw milk among the pastures were 62.5 per cent in A group, 65.2 per cent in B group, 64.8 per cent in C group by standard plate count, and 68.8 per cent, 71.7 per cent and 71.8 per cent by direct microscopic count respectively. As mentioned above the sanitary and qualitative control and treatment of raw and market milk were yet unfit to date in Chonnam district, but it shall be improved gradually in the future.

본 논문은 주식투자를 문제영역으로 하는 전문가 시스템 설계와 구현 연구에 관한 것이다. 주식투자와 관련된 기존 프로그램들의 대부분이 데이타베이스, 통계분석, 시장모델 등에 관한 것이었으나 본 논문에서 구현하는 주식투자 전문가 시스템인 ASIE(Artificial Stock Investment Expert) 시스템은 주식투자 분야의 투자 전문지식을 조직화해서 주식투자 전문가 시스템을 구축하고, 이를 사용자들에게 제공하여 효율적이고 합리적인 투자를 할 수 있도록 도와주는 것을 목표로 한다. ASIE 시스템은 현재의 상황에 대한 사용자의 의견을 입력으로 받아 지식베이스에 들어 있는, 투자에 경험이 많은 전문인의 경험적 지식으로 추론을 하여 여러가지 투자 조건에 알맞는 적절한 투자 종목을 선정해 준다. Design and implementation of an expert system for stock investment is described. Existing programs related to stock investments are mostly about database management, statistical analysis systems or mathematical model of stock markets, instead the ASIE(Artificial Stock Investment Expert)system described is an expert system, which systematizes human expert knowledges for stock investment and provides inferred decision alternatives to users for better investment decisions. The ASIE system incorporates the user's opinions about current situations and performs inferences using the formalized knowledges in knowledge-base together with other data in the database and finally composes the preferred portfolio suitable for the various investment conditions and user's personal preferences.
고인성 라인파이프강의 인성과 천이온도의 분석 Ⅲ. Charpy 충격특성, DWTT, CTOA의 상관관계

Correlation of Charpy V-notch (CVN) impact properties, drop-weight tear test (DWTT) properties, and crack tip opening angle (CTOA) values of a high-toughness API X70 pipeline steel was investigated in this study. Two-specimen CTOA test (TSCT) was conducted on the rolled steel specimens to measure CTOA, and the test results were related with the CVN and DWTT data to find correlations between them. The CVN total energy density showed almost 1:1 linear correlation with the DWTT initiation energy density. The TSCT test results indicated that the specimens rolled in the single phase region had the larger CTOA as well as the higher CVN and DWTT energies than those rolled in the two phase region because their microstructures were composed of acicular ferrites and fine polygonal ferrites. The measured CTOA showed better correlation with the DWTT propagation energy than with the CVN or DWTT total energy as it was related with the crack propagation speed. Since the value of Sin(2CTOA) was linearly proportional to the DWTT energy, it could be used as a useful parameter to reliably estimate the CTOA.
Evolutionary anisotropy and flow stress in advanced high strength steels under loading path changes

<P>Chaboche kinematic hardening, Yoshida-Uemori, and homogenous anisotropic hardening (HAH) models were evaluated in terms of their prediction capability of flow stress and evolutionary r-value under loading path changes. The first two models are based on kinematic hardening, whereas the HAH model is based on distortional hardening. Continuous compression-tension (CT) tests with pre-strains for dual phase 780 and transformation-induced plasticity (TRIP) 780 steel sheets were conducted. For the initial anisotropy described by the Yld2000-2d model, uniaxial tension tests for three material orientations and a biaxial test were performed. During the CT tests, both stress and r-value variations with plastic strain were measured. All the models were implemented into the finite element software ABAQUS using user material subroutines. Experimentally, both sheets exhibited typical anisotropic hardening features such as the Bauschinger effect, transient hardening, and long-range softening. The TRIP 780 exhibited small work-hardening stagnation. In addition, the evolutionary r-value during the second loading was significant. The three models could predict most of the features in the stress-strain curves during the second loading. However, only the HAH model could predict the experimentally observed r-value evolution. This evolutionary r-value predicted by the HAH model could be explained by distortion of the yield locus during the first loading and its rapid recovery toward the initial yield locus shape. The electroless deposition of copper on the hydrogen-terminated Si(111) surface was investigated by means of attenuated total reflection Fourier transform infrared (ATR-FTIR) spectroscopy, scanning tunneling microscopy (STM), and energy-dispersive spectroscopy (EDS). The hydrogen-terminated Si(111) surface prepared was stable under air atmosphere for a day or more. It was found from ATR-FTIR that two bands centered at 2000 and 2260 $cm^{-1}$ appeared after the H-Si(111) surface was immersed in 40% $NH_4F$ solution containing 10 mM $Cu^{2+}$. On the other hand, STM image included the copper islands with a height of 5 nm and a diameter of 10-20 nm. The EDS data displayed the presence of copper, silicon and oxygen species. The results were rationalized in terms of the redox reaction of surface Si atoms and $Cu^{2+}$ ions in solutions, which are changed into $Si(OH)_x(F)_y$ containing $SiF_6^{2-}$ ions and neutral copper islands.
Stress update algorithm for enhanced homogeneous anisotropic hardening model

<P><B>Abstract</B></P> <P>A stress integration algorithm is provided for a novel homogeneous-yield-function-based anisotropic hardening (HAH) model. The new model is an extension of the original HAH model that describes cross-hardening or softening of a sheet metal under an orthogonal strain path change. A semi-explicit integration scheme for the stress update is utilized to efficiently handle the gradient of the distorted yield surface during complex strain path changes, as originally proposed by Lee et al. (2012). Validations of the algorithm developed were conducted by comparing the predicted stress–strain curves of dual-phase (DP) 780 and extra-deep-drawing-quality (EDDQ) steels with experimental stress–strain responses observed under cross-loading conditions. Finally, the accuracy of the proposed finite element (FE) formulations was assessed by r -value prediction and preparation of iso-error maps.</P>
