CAN (Controller Area Network) is widely used as a network protocol for real-time distributed control systems. The identifier field(ID) is used not only to differentiate the messages but also to give different priorities to access the bus. This thesis presents an algorithm to dynamically adjust a part of ID in order to allocate the network resource to messages that experience large transmission delay compared to their transmission period. In order to demonstrate the algorithm's feasibility, message transmission delays have been measured with and without the algorithm on an experimental network test bed.
구강건강에 이용되는 보완대체의학 치료: 무작위대조임상연구를 통한 문헌적 고찰

Objective : This review aims at analyzing Complementary and Alternative Medicine (CAM) therapies, using for oral health to know current use of CAM in dental area by analyzing randomized controlled clinical trials (RCTs). Method : We searched the following 6 electronic databases until 1 July 2014. : Pubmed, Medline, Embase, Allied and Complementary Medicine Database(AMED), Cumulative Index to Nursing and Allied Health Literature(CINAHL), the Cochrane Library. We included parallel RCTs and cross-over RCTs that assessed the efficacy of CAM regardless of blinding and language. Results : A total of 154 RCT articles were included. There were 2-arm parallel study design(69.5%), 3-arm parallel study design(20.8%), 4-arm parallel study design(4.5%) and Cross-over design(5.2%). Complementary and alternative medicine RCTs in oral health tend to increase in the early-2000s and in the mid-2010s. In addition, 154 citations were classified according to diseases and interventions that categorized Natural Products studies(68.2%), Mind and Body Practices studies(31.8%). We classified in detail that vitamin and mineral therapies(29.9%), dietary supplements(24.7%), acupuncture(23.3%), Herbal medicine(13.6%), homeopathy (2.6%), energy therapies(2.6%), Massage(1.9%), biofeedback(0.6%), traditional medicine(0.6%). Conclusion : Increasing publications and diverse interventions regarding CAM for oral health is observed by analyzing RCTs from the literature review. Further studies are needed to be performed as systematic reviews to verify their effectiveness and the research to inquire into side effect.

Driven by the development of innovative vehicle applications, contemporary automotive E/E (electric/electronic) architecture requires a high level of networking and software platform. In networking, FlexRay is a communication protocol for IVN(In-Vehicle Network) in safety critical applications such as x-by-wire. In software platform, AUTOSAR serves as a basic infrastructure for the management of functions within both future applications and standard software modules. In control engineering, Rapid Control Prototyping is a process which lets the engineer quickly test and iterate their control strategies on a real-time computer with real input/output devices. This paper focuses on implementation of FlexRay with AUTOSAR using rapid prototyping. This paper presents a development of FlexRay module based on FlexRay protocol specification V2.1 as well as FlexRay software platform with AUTOSAR standard specification V2.0.1.
Characterization of the Promoter Controling the Stage-Specific Gene Expression of Bombyx mori

본 연구에서는 누에의 초기 배아시기에 유전자 발현 조절이 가능한 EEG-704 promoter를 개발하고자 하였다. Promoter의 핵심 영역을 결정하기 위하여, 10개의 서로 다른 partial mutant clone들을 만들고 이를 Sf9 곤충세포주에 도입하여 luciferase assay 방법을 사용하여 각각의 clone의 활성을 분석하였다. Constitutive promoter인 BmA3 promoter에 의한 활성과 비교하였을 때, 약1.5 kb의 promoter 염기서열을 포함하는 clone이 가장 높은 luciferase 발현율을 나타내었다. 특히 EEG-704 유전자의 경우 BLAST를 이용한 유전자 비교·분석의 결과 누에의 열충격 단백질 20.8 (BmHsp20.8) 과 동일한 것으로 밝혀졌으며, 정상 온도조건과 비교하였을 때 열충격을 가한 조건하에서 발현율이 증가하는 현상을 나타내었다. 특이적으로 발생단계에서 직·간접적으로 발현 조절이 가능한 이러한 promoter는 여러 유용 재조합 단백질 생산을 위한 형질전환 누에 개발 시 매우 유용할 것으로 생각된다 We characterized embryo early gene (EEG)-704 promoter of the silkworm Bombyx mori, which is specifically regulated in the development stages. To determine core promoter region, 10 different partial mutant clones were tested by luciferase assay in Sf9 cells. About 1.5 kb promoter shows higher luciferase activity than constitutive promoter (BmA3). Interestingly, EEG-704 shares the same DNA sequences with BmHsp20.8 by the result of BLAST analysis; its expression is also increased under heat shock condition. Development of such promoter inducible, directly or indirectly in the developmental-stage, is very useful in making recombinant proteins in transgenic silkworms.

Objectives: This study aimed to explore the passive multi-channel time series analysis method by measuring bio-potentials of acupuncture point and the peripheral region Methods: Bio-potential was measured at ST36 and the peripherical region of ST36 of 5 healthy volunteers at three times. The diagram of the potential changes over time were smoothed by moving average method and similarities of ST36 and the other points were calculated. Results: In the normal weight group, bio-potential similarity tended to decrease in proportion to the distance from the acupuncture point. In the obesity group, bio-potential similarity appeared in a very wide area. Bio-potential similarity had positive correlation with BMI value. Conclusions: The passive multi-channel time series analysis method showed the possibility be appropriate for the electrical characteristics study of meridians.

We observed the vertical distribution and feeding ecology of the Mirror dory, Zenopsis nebulosa, in the Southern Sea of Korea from 2009 to 2013 using an otter trawl. The total length of captured individuals ranged from 11 to 48 cm. Individuals captured at greater depths were significantly larger than those from shallower sites. Fish abundance was significantly related to depth and temperature. We found that 89% of the total catch was obtained at depths between 80 and 140 meters. Prey organisms, including fish, crustaceans,and cephalopods, were found in Z. nebulosa stomachs. Fishes were the main prey items for all size groups. Cephalopods were consumed by individuals > 25 cm in length. Our findings suggested that the vertical distribution of Z. nebulosa varied with depth and temperature, and that the fish are carnivores
