차기구축함 통합마스트에 적용을 위한 전자기파 메타물질 흡수체의 온도 환경 내구성 검증

본 논문에서는 차기구축함에 탑재될 통합 마스트의 레이더 반사면적을 감소시킬 수 있는 스텔스 기술로 응용하기 위해 해양 환경이 모사된 온도 환경 조건에서 전자기파 메타물질 흡수체의 내구성을 검증하였다. 이를 위해 미국 군사 규격인 MIL-STD-810H의 Method 501.7 중 Procedure I 조건에 따라 주기적으로 온도를 조절할 수 있는 항온 챔버에 저장 후 전자기파 메타물질 흡수체의 반사도를 측정하였다. 고온 환경시험 전과 후 모두 X 밴드 전체에서 스텔스 성능을 충족시킬 수 있는 -10 dB 미만의 반사도가 확인되었다. In this paper, the durability of an electromagnetic metamaterial absorber is verified in a temperature varying condition mimicking a maritime environment for the purpose of applying it to reduce the radar cross section of an integrated mast of the next-generation destroyer. To validate the durability, the reflectance of the electromagnetic metamaterial absorber was measured after storing it in a chamber that can control the temperature according to Procedure I of Method 501.7 included in MIL-STD-810H. Before and after the environmental test, both of the measured reflectances were retained less than -10 dB over the X band, that can guarantee the stealth functionality.

The aim of this study is to evaluate the possibility of damage to cultural assets resulting from vibrations generated by construction vehicle traffic. The cultural heritage's natural vibration frequency was determined to be 150Hz by measurement. The damping ratios were calculated as 4.7% using the logarithmic decrement approach and 4.3% using the half-power method. The vibration measurements obtained during vehicle operation indicated that, despite an increase in vehicle velocity of up to 15 km/h, the vibrations remained below the detectable level of 0.13 mm/sec. When the road is curved and the terrain is sloped, a suitable speed for vehicle operation was found to be around 17 km/h, at which point vibrations were seen. The highest recorded vibration amplitude at this velocity was 0.217 mm/sec, which remains below the stringent regulation limit of 2 mm/sec. Thus, it can be concluded that there is no actual harm caused by vibrations

The purpose of this study is to investigate whether Arrow Shooting and various activities of Military Men in Chosun Dynasty are possible to be considered as physical Education. In order to meet the purpose of this study, first the definition of Martial arts nowdays that was recogniased as a military arts in the past was investigated on the ground of physical Education. Second, The philosophical background of Arrow shooting in chosun Dynasty was examined. Third, the record of military men who played Arrow shooting and various activities of Martial Arts (武藝), especially the content of Nan Jung il Gi which was written by General Lee Soon shin(李舜臣), Chung Mu Gong(忠武公), was examined concretely Last, how they could be recognized as a physical Education nowdays was investigated. The results are as follows. Martial Arts of Military Men in Chosun Dynasty had a political meaning that is security of nation and ethnics, on the other hand, had a Educational meaning that maintained physical fitness and cultivate morality as an individual and a member of society. Obviously, it is unnatural for us to understand physical Education of Mordern Society and Martial arts of traditional society in the same line. But it may be help you the understand physical Education of traditional society on Society and view of culture at that time. It will be a ground for us to change our recognition about tradition for the past and so, I think that Arrow shooting and physical activities of Military Men in Dynasty(朝鮮朝) can be considered as physical Education in this days.
한국해군 함정 통신장비 안테나의 통합마스트 탑재 가능성

마스트는 해군 함정에서 가장 높은 구조물로, 장거리 통신 및 레이더 가시거리(LOS, Line Of Sight) 확보를 위해 각종 통신기와 레이더 안테나들이 설치된다. 통합마스트는 레이더 반사 면적(RCS, Radar Cross Section)을 줄일 수 있어 함 생존성 향상을 기대할 수 있기 때문에 최근 미국, 유럽 등 해외에서 건조되는 함정에 적용되고 있는 비율이 늘고 있다. 본 논문에서는 해외에서 통합마스트를 적용할 경우 통신 안테나의 통합 현황 및 안테나 개발 사례를 분석하였다. 그리고 한국 해군의 운용 통신망을 분석하여 통합마스트를 적용할 경우 통신기 안테나 형태에 따른 함정 RCS 영향, 다양한 대역의 통신기 안테나의 통합마스트 통합 가능성과 고려사항을 제시하였다. The mast is the highest structure in a naval ship, and various communication and radar antennas are installed to achieve long-range communications and line of sight. The U.S. and European navy currently are adopting integrated mast to their new ships, as it can reduce the Radar Cross Section(RCS) of the new ships and thus improve survivability of the ship. In this paper, when other navies adopt integrated masts on new ships, types of antennas, according to the cases that the antennas are integrated on the integrated mast or not, are analyzed. Also the types of antennas and transmission techniques for the radio communication equipments of the Korean Navy are analyzed in various frequency bands. For adopting an integrated mast on Korean new ships, the effects of the ship RCS according to the types of antennas, the possibility of integration the antennas and the integrated mast and considerations were presented.

This study is intended to figure out more about the horseback archery called Partian-shot shown in the ancient tomb wall paintings. Partian-shots were performed in the Koguryo period. Riding on a horseback at full gallop an archer draws a bow back to the ear and the whistle arrowhead aims at an animal. The images presenting the unified body movement of Koguryo athletics means the archery and art of hunting in the time of Koguryo has been well established and systematic at the time of the paintings. A bibliographic research through a variety of reference books dealing with wall paintings of Koguryo has been done for this paper. Here are main points that are considered to worth giving attention to and discussing about. First of all, the art of hunting came out to world in the 2nd century AD in Pharthia who won the war again Rome in Northeast of Iran. The similar images shown in the Koguryo wall paintings describing hunting skills are also presented in the Chinese style mirrors made in Pharthia. Further, it is also carved in the silver plates of Sasan Dynasty who destroyed the Pharthia Kingdom. In the plates horses are running with their front legs holding up in the air as if they are flying. It is called flying gallop. The archer is about to shoot the arrow aiming at a lion with the upper part of body turned. The techniques shown in the craft of Pharthia is called Phartian shot. Second, it is not clear how the art was delivered to Koguryo. It is assumed that cultural interchanges along the Silk Road would let the techniques broadcasted to Koguryo. Some assert Koguryo people developed their own archery techniques while improving their hunting skills. It is more likely that the techniques were transferred to Koguryo rather than the latter assertion. This assumption is possible when we understand the archery techniques were officially transmitted to Japan. Lastly Koguryo people tried to learn the advanced body techniques by practicing Sa Hee. They exhibited their techniques in wars or hunting contests. Their techniques were transferred to Shilla Kingdom and were spread to all over Korea later on.

In this study, we confirmed the structural stability of bearings applied to large radar structures via finite element analysis and verified the margin of safety of bearings due to wind load. The analysis was performed using the weight of the antenna as a point mass, and various wind load conditions were input as a remote force. The structural safety was confirmed based on the amount of deformation of the bearing, and the margin of safety under wind load and rotational conditions was evaluated and confirmed.
