Highly monodisperse poly(methyl methacrylate)(PMMA) microparticles crosslinked with urethane acrylates containing carboxylic groups were produced by dispersion polymerization in methanol solution. Different from conventional crosslinkers, the urethane acrylate employed as a crosslinker showed an excellent effect on maintaining the monodispersity of PMMA microparticles even in the moderate crosslinker concentration (to about 10 wt%). This was believed that the urethane acrylate helped forming the monomer-swellable surface of primary particles, because of its structurally long tetramethylene oxide groups in its molecule. However, at high concentration and low molecular weight of the urethane acrylate, bimodal distributions were observed, which was attributed to the serious increase of the crosslinking density.

This paper introduces the analysis and development of digital holographic data codec technology to effectively compress hologram data. First, the generation method and data characteristics of the hologram standard data set provided by JPEG Pleno are introduced. We analyze energy compaction according to hologram generation method using discrete wavelet transform and discrete cosine transform. The quantization efficiency according to the hologram generation method is analyzed by applying uniform quantization and non-uniform quantization. We propose a transformation method quantization method suitable for hologram generation method through transform and quantization experiments. Finally, holograms are compressed using standard compression codecs such as JPEG, JPEG2000, AVC/H.264 and HEVC/H.265 and the results are analyzed.
마틴 부버의 커뮤니케이션철학: “실체론”을 넘어 “관계론”으로

This essay explores Martin Buber’s holistic communication philosophy. Buber explains relations among the people with two types, ‘I and It’ and ‘I and Thou’. This study concentrates to find his communication philosophy from holistic approach. We can find it in relations of ‘I and Thou’ especially. So in this discussion will be analysed the basic background of his communication epistemology. Secondly it will be attempted to clarify essence and limitations of the ontological communication in his theory of ‘I and It’. Furthermore I will investigate Buber’s communication thoughts in relation of ‘I and Thou’ from the holistic approach. This essay suggests to overcome limitations of the ontological communication paradigm between sender and receiver. Together this article contributes to solve communication problems in modern society, for example, alienation, dehumanization, social conflict etc.

Vestibular schwannoma often causes ipsilateral hearing loss due to its involvement of the 8th cranial nerve. Therefore hearing rehabilitation as well as tumor control should be considered simultaneously, especially when the patient also has hearing impairment in the contralateral side. Here, we report a 51-year-old patient who underwent contralateral cochlear implant due to temporal bone fracture in huge vestibular schwannoma patient.
