        연구중에 생산된 과학기술 참조데이터 관리에 관한 연구

        Scientific/technical data whose reliability is authorized have to include physical/chemical constants, authorized property value or authorized scientific statistical values so that the scientists in the same field use them continuously and repeatedly for their research. The data also have to be managed as Standard Reference Data that will be used in other area nationwide by analyzing, evaluating and authorizing the accuracy and reliability of the information with scientific methods. This study suggests a plan for establishing the National Center for Standard Reference Data as well as a necessity for managing the data produced in research process as a national Standard Reference Data. Also, a prototype of research information system for measurement standards is developed and described in detail for research information for measurement standard to be used as a reference data, then a plan to managing national reference data is suggested, in addition. 신뢰도가 공인된 과학기술데이터는 같은 분야 연구자들이 지속적이면서 반복적으로 사용할 수 있도록 물리화학적 상수, 공인된 물성값, 또는 공인된 과학기술적 통계 값을 가지고 있어야 한다. 이러한 측정데이터는 정보의 정확도와 신뢰도를 과학적으로 분석.평가하여 공인함으로써 국가적으로 모든 분야에 널리 사용할 수 있는 참조표준데이터(Standard Reference Data)로 관리되어야 한다. 본 논문에서는 연구중에 생산된 다양한 실험데이터를 국가 참조표준 데이터로서 관리되어야 하는 필요성과 국가참조표준 센터 설립을 위한 방안을 제시해 본다. 그 시도로 측정표준 연구정보를 하나의 참조정보로 이용할 수 있도록 측정표준 연구정보 시스템을 개발하였고 이 시스템에 대한 운영체계를 자세히 소개함으로서 국내 참조정보 관리에 대한 방안을 제시하고자 한다.

        Korean Anatomical Reference Data for Adults for Use in Radiological Protection

        For radiological protection from exposure to ionizing radiation, in which a population-averaged dose evaluation is used, establishing a system of reference anatomical and physiological data for a specific population of interest is important. Some studies were done in the past to establish Korean reference data; however, the data provided the mass values only for a limited number of organs/tissues. In addition, the standing height and total body mass are based on ~ 20-year-old data. In the present study, a new set of Korean reference anatomical values was established for use in the radiological protection of Korean workers and members of the public. The established Korean reference data provide the masses of 58 organs/tissues, including those needed to calculate the effective dose, which were derived by collecting and analyzing various scientific reports in the literature and data. In addition, the data provide not only standing height and total body mass, but also 131 additional anthropometric parameters; these values were derived from the most recent Korean national survey project, 7 th Size Korea. The characteristics of the data were also compared with several other population data, including the Asian and the International Commission on Radiological Protection (ICRP) reference data.

        2015 개정 교육과정에 따른 초등학교 과학과 교사용 지도서의 참고자료 분석- 3~6학년 물리영역을 중심으로 -

        This study analyzed reference data for the physics section in science guidebooks for the third-sixth grade in elementary schools, according to the 2015 revised curriculum. It analyzed the reference data by categorizing them in terms of subjects, objectives and presentation forms and the visual data used in the reference data by categorizing their types. The findings show that the ratio of the science knowledge type was highest (53.8%) among the subjects of reference data in guidebooks for the science section, followed by the application to real life, and then, supplementary inquiry experiments and activities. The ratios of other types such as advanced science, environment, scientists and science history were, however, less than 1%, so they need to be improved. The ratio of knowledge provision was highest (40.5%) among the objectives of reference data but the ratios of conceptual supplementation and deepening were similar in ratio. Meanwhile, While the expository type (88.4%) accounted for most of the present forms of reference data, and photographs and illustrations (93.6%) also accounted for most of visual data suggested with reference data. Thus more various types of presentation forms and the extension of visual data seemed to be needed. This study is expected to provide some suggestions for the meaningful use of reference data in guidebooks for teachers and for the development of science guidebooks for teachers in elementary schools.

        ISO 15926 기반의 참조 데이터 라이브러리 편집기의 개발

        ISO 15926 is an international standard for integration of lifecycle data for process plants including oil and gas facilities. From the viewpoint of information modeling, ISO 15926 Parts 2 provides the general data model that is designed to be used in conjunction with reference data. Reference data are standard instances that represent classes, objects, properties, and templates common to a number of users, process plants, or both. ISO 15926 Parts 4 and 7 provide the initial set of classes, objects, properties and the initial set of templates, respectively. User-defined reference data specific to companies or organizations are defined by inheriting from the initial reference data and the initial set of templates. In order to support the extension of reference data and templates, an editor that provides creation, deletion and modification functions of userdefined reference data is needed. In this study, an editor for reference data based on ISO 15926 was developed. Sample reference data were encoded in OWL (web ontology language) according to the specification of ISO 15926 Part 8. iRINGTools and dot15926Editor were benchmarked for the design of GUI (graphical user interface). Reference data search, creation, modification, and deletion functions were implemented with XML (extensible markup language) DOM (document object model), and SPARQL (SPARQL protocol and RDF query language).

        신재생에너지 국가참조표준 시스템 구축 및 개발 - 모델 기반 표준기상년

        Since 1990, the Renewable Big Data Research Lab at the Korea Institute of Energy Technology has been observing solar radiation at 16 sites across South Korea. Serving as the National Reference Standard Data Center for Renewable Energy since 2012, it produces essential data for the sector. By 2020, it standardized meteorological year data from 22 sites. Despite user demand for data from approximately 260 sites, equivalent to South Koreas municipalities, this need exceeds the capability of measurement-based data. In response, our team developed a method to derive solar radiation data from satellite images, covering South Korea in 400,000 grids of 500 m × 500 m each. Utilizing satellite-derived data and ERA5-Land reanalysis data from the European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts (ECMWF), we produced standard meteorological year data for 1,000 sites. Our research also focused on data measurement traceability and uncertainty estimation, ensuring the reliability of our model data and the traceability of existing measurement-based data.

      • Smart cities with big data: Reference models, challenges, and considerations

        <P><B>Abstract</B></P> <P>Cities worldwide are attempting to transform themselves into smart cities. Recent cases and studies show that a key factor in this transformation is the use of urban big data from stakeholders and physical objects in cities. However, the knowledge and framework for data use for smart cities remain relatively unknown. This paper reports findings from an analysis of various use cases of big data in cities worldwide and the authors' four projects with government organizations toward developing smart cities. Specifically, this paper classifies the urban data use cases into four reference models and identifies six challenges in transforming data into information for smart cities. Furthermore, building upon the relevant literature, this paper proposes five considerations for addressing the challenges in implementing the reference models in real-world applications. The reference models, challenges, and considerations collectively form a framework for data use for smart cities. This paper will contribute to urban planning and policy development in the modern data-rich economy.</P> <P><B>Highlights</B></P> <P> <UL> <LI> We analyze and classify urban data use cases into four reference models. </LI> <LI> We identify six challenges in transforming data into information for smart cities. </LI> <LI> We give five considerations to address the challenges in implementing the models. </LI> <LI> The challenges and considerations are based on four action research projects with government. </LI> <LI> Our findings can aid urban planning and policy development in a data-rich economy. </LI> </UL> </P>

        Introduction to the standard reference data of electron energy loss spectra and their database: eel.geri.re.kr

        Electron energy loss spectroscopy (EELS) is an analytical technique that can provide the structural, physical and chemical information of materials. The EELS spectra can be obtained by combining with TEM at sub-nanometer spatial resolution. However, EELS spectral information can’t be obtained easily because in order to interpret EELS spectra, we need to refer to and/or compare many reference data with each other. And in addition to that, we should consider the different experimental variables used to produce each data. Therefore, reliable and easily interpretable EELS standard reference data are needed. Our Electron Energy Loss Data Center (EELDC) has been designated as National Standard Electron Energy Loss Data Center No. 34 to develop EELS standard reference (SR) data and to play a role in dissemination and diffusion of the SR data to users. EELDC has developed and collected EEL SR data for the materials required by major industries and has a total of 82 EEL SR data. Also, we have created an online platform that provides a one-stop-place to help users interpret quickly EELS spectra and get various spectral information. In this paper, we introduce EEL SR data, the homepage of EELDC and how to use them.

        Rorschach 검사 규준에 관한 동향 연구 : 종합체계와 국제규준 자료의 국내활용을 중심으로

        Revision works of the Rorschach comprehensive system has faced difficulties after Exner s death. International normative reference were proposed as the outcomes of projects which collected various countries of national data were announced. And it later became the basis for the R-PAS (Rorschach Performance Assessment System). According to the international normative research, the results indicated that the adult data was relatively consistent across countries. However, it should be noted that only Japan among Asian countries was included and the Japanese data showed certain deviations from the international reference data. The child data showed large discrepancies between countries suggesting that careful attention is needed in application of the international references as well as South Korea’s comprehensive system. This study compared the data from the comprehensive system, the international references, and South Korea’s and international Rorschach research, offering considerations regarding the applications of the international references and comprehensive system in South Korean contexts. Also, this study reviewed the major changes in R-PAS. Such attempts will promote evidence-based practice of Rorschach test in South Korea. Exner의 사망 이후 Rorschach 검사의 종합체계 개정이 난관을 맞은 한편, 국가별 자료를 수합한 프로젝트들의 성과가 발표되면서 국제규준 자료(international normative reference data)가 제안되었고 이후 R-PAS(Rorschach Performance Assessment System)의 기초가 되었다. 국제규준 연구에 의하면, 성인집단 자료는 상대적으로 국가 간 일관성을 보이며 국제규준으로서의 활용 가능성을 보여주었다. 그러나 아시아 국가 중 일본만이 포함되었고, 또한 일본의 자료가 국제규준과 차이를 보였다는 점을 고려할 필요가 있다. 아동집단 자료의 경우, 국가 간 편차가 크게 나타나 국제규준 뿐 아니라 종합체계의 국내 활용에 세심한 주의가 필요함을 확인하였다. 본 연구는 종합체계, 국제규준, 국내외 Rorschach 연구 자료 등을 비교하여 국내 성인과 아동집단을 대상으로 종합체계 및 국제규준 적용 시 유의할 점들을 요약하고, R-PAS의 주요 변화를 개관하였다. 이러한 시도는 국내 Rorschach 검사를 둘러싼 근거기반 활용의 기반을 마련하는데 기여할 것이다.

        과학기술 논문의 참고문헌 텍스트 정보를 활용한 기술의 군집화

        Data on patent and scientific paper is considered as a useful information source for analyzing technological information and has been widely utilized. Technology big data is analyzed in various ways to identify the latest technological trends and predict future promising technologies. Clustering is one of the ways to discover new features by creating groups from technology big data. Patent includes refined bibliographic information such as patent classification code whereas scientific paper does not have appropriate bibliographic information for clustering. This research proposes a new approach for clustering data of scientific paper by utilizing reference titles in each scientific paper. In this approach, the reference titles are considered as textual information because each reference consists of the title of the paper that represents the core content of the paper. We collected the scientific paper data, extracted the title of the reference, and conducted clustering by measuring the text-based similarity. The results from the proposed approach are compared with the results using existing methodologies that one is the approach utilizing textual information from titles and abstracts and the other one is a citation-based approach. The suggested approach in this paper shows statistically significant difference compared to the existing approaches and it shows better clustering performance. The proposed approach will be considered as a useful method for clustering scientific papers.

        대한민국 표준기상데이터의 변화추이와 건물부하량에 관한 기초연구

        As 'Low Carbon Green Building' is highly required, programs to evaluate building performance are actively and commonly used. For most of these programs, dynamic responses of buildings against external weather changes are very important. In order to simulate the programs, weather data of each region must be properly entered to estimate accurate amount of building energy consumption. To this end, the existing weather data and weather data of KSES were compared and analyzed to find out how weather changes. Energy load of Korea's standard houses was also analyzed based on this data. As a result, data corresponding to June ~ September when cooling is supplied shows 23% of average increase with 30% of peak increase(June). On the other hand, data corresponding to November ~ February when heating is supplied shows 29% of average decrease with 34% of peak decrease(November). Increase in cooling load and decrease in heating load in the above data comparison/analysis show that KSES 2009 data reflects increase in average temperature caused by global warming unlike the existing data. Increase in dry-bulb temperature depending on weather change of standard houses increases cooling load by 17% and decreases heating load by 36%
