        다량으로 폐기되는 주물사를 이용하여 반응인자인 열처리 온도, 열처리 시간 등을 변화하여 최적의 경량골재를 제조하여 반응인자에 따른 경량골재의 겉비중, 흡수율 및 강도 등을 측정하여 각종 제조 조건에 따른 영향을 검토하였다. The method of manufacture for the light-weight aggregate from casting sand is developed at this study. In order to find optimum manufacturing condition, firing time and firing temperature were varied and their effects on physical properties, such as density, water absorption, mechanical strength were measured.

      • 저온처리가 성숙과정에 있는 참다래 과실 조직의 수분포텐셜과 당농도에 미치는 영향

        I investigated diurnal change in fruit tissues water status of kiwifruit at the third period of the growth stage III as the fruit were maintained at 10℃ from 18:00 to 8:00 in a 24 hour-period. The treatments of low temperature effected definite change in water status of fruit tissues from 10∼11 on October, but did not in the other periods. The treatments at the third period from 17:00 to 8:00 for 2 weeks also effected clear change in sugar concentration from 12∼25 on October, but did not in the other periods. These result indicated that low temperature stress make charge water states of fruit tissues with the assent of sugar concentration at early autumn season.

        A failure mode in the beam strengthened with a high modulus plate appears as a interface debonding failure or ripping-off failure. This failure mode means that plate is separated from adhesive or concrete before displaying its own ability. Therefore, as a method for controlling a premature failure, it is need to use a general anchorage implement. We conducted bending tests for reinforced concrete beams strengthened with CFRP. The experimental variables were a concrete strength, reinforcement ratio, cover thickness of concrete and length ratio of CFRP for a pure span. A failure load, failure mode, load-deflection curve and strain response at different distances from a cut-off of CFRP and strain distribution curve were measured to determine the bond development length. Also, the bond development length was compared with Nguyen’s model and British Standard specification.

        헬리코박터 파이로리 균 진단용 ^13C-요소 캅셀의 개발

        The purpose of this study was to develop a new ^13C-urea- containing capsule for diagnosis of H. pylori. The urea-containing capsules were prepared with various diluents such as polyethylene glycol (PEG), microcrystalline cellulose, sodium lauryl sulfate and citric acid. The dissolution test, ^13C-urea breath test and stability test were then performed on the capsules. Microcrystalline cellulose and sodium lauryl sulfate retarded the initial dissolution rates of urea. However, PEG increased the initial dissolution rates of urea. Furthermore, two formulae composed of PEG, [^13C-urea/PEG (38/1.9 mg/cap)] and [^13C-urea/PEG/citric acid (38/1.9/1.9 mg/cap)] had the maximum DOB value, about 16 at 20 mim, while the formula composed of only 38 mg ^13C-urea had the maximum DOB value at 30 min. The results indicated that PEG improved the sensitivity of ^13C-urea in the human volunteers. The capsule [^13C-urea/PEG (38/1.9 mg/cap)] was stable for at least six months in 25 and 37℃. Thus, a PEG-containing capsule, [^13C-urea/PEG (38/1.9 mg/cap)] would be a more economical, sensitive and stable preparation for diagnosis of H. pylori.

        상아질형성부전증에 대한 증례보고

        Dentinogenesis imperfecta is inherited as a single autosomal dominant trait. Clinical features of dentinogenesis imperfecta is one in which the primary and permanent teeth are a characteristic reddish brown to gray opalescent color. Enamel is usually brokedown and exposed soft dentin abrades rapidly. Radiographs show slender roots and bulbous crown. The pulp chamber is small and pulp canals are small and ribbon-like. A 8-year-old and 9-year-old brother with complaint of abnormal crown shape and color of the teeth came to department of Pediatric Dentistry for complete rehabilitation. Family history revealed the wearing the complete denture due to premature loss of permanent teeth is several relatives. The obtained results were as follow. 1. Teeth showed yellowish brown color. The crown of teeth showed severe attrition and breakdown of enamel in both deciduous and permanent dentitions. 2. Partial or complete obliteration of the pulp chambers and pulp canals, and small teeth buds of permanent premolar were observed on radiographs. 3. Family history revealed the complete denture due to premature loss of permanent teeth in several rlatives. 4. Restorations of anterior teeth with composite resin veneering showed good esthetic result. But brokendown easily due to loss of dentinal support. 5. Restoration of posterior teeth with preformed crown rehabilitated the masticatory function and estabilished the vertical dimension of occlusion. But further care is needed for estabilishment of final vertical dimension of occlusion after completion of the permanent dentition.

        한국 재래 산양에서 Leptospira spp.에 대한 혈청역학적 연구

        Between January 1999 and September 2001, 948 sera (120 from each province except 108 from Chungbuk) from 8 provinces were sampled from Korean goats. All the samples were serologically tested for Leptospira spp. By the microscopic agglutination test against four L. interrogans serovars including canicola, icterohaemorrhagiae, pomona and hardjo, 948 Korean goats were confirmed as 11 seropositives (1.2%) only infected with L. icterohemorrhagiae. All positive sera were collected from Gyeonggi (5), Gangwon (4) and Chungbuk (2). Titration of them were classified as 1:100 of 10 sera except one case with 1:200 from Gyeonggi. It was meaningful that the pathogen in Korean goats was mainly distributed in the northen part of the country. Consequently, the results in the study were confirmed and analyzed the recent status of infection of leptospirosisas zoonotic agentsome in Korean goats.

      • 탄소섬유보강판의 홈삽입에 따른 철근콘크리트 보의 보강효과

        This paper presents a feasibility study of an alternative strengthening method by slot-bonded CFRP plates for reinforced concrete beam. A total 14 reinforced concrete beam were constructed, tested and the response of the beams in terms of deflection, strains, failure load and failure mode were examined. Each specimen was initially loaded for 75% of ultimate load, cracked specimen were strengthened with CFRP plate and then tested until complete failure. Test variables included the strengthening method, steel ratio and strengthening length, and the effects according to each test variables are analysed. The experimental results show that proposed methods can increase the flexural strength and stiffness of the beam significantly. Also, the failure of the specimens strengthened by the proposed method are more ductile than externally bonded specimen.

        폴록사머 188 및 멘톨에 의한 이부프로펜의 용해도 증가

        To enhance the solubility of poorly water-soluble ibuprofen with poloxamer and menthol, the effects of menthol and poloxamer 188 on the aqueous solubility of ibuprofen were investigate. In the absence and presence of additives such as ethanol and poloxamer 188, the solubility of ibuprofen increased until the ratio of menthol to ibuprofen increased from 0:10 to 4:6 followed by and abrupt decrease in solubility above the ratio of 4:6, indicating tat 4 parts of ibuprofen formed eutetic mixture with 6 parts of menthol. In the presence of poloxamer, the solutions with the same ratio showed abrupt increase in the solubility of ibuprofen . Furthermore, in the presence of poloxamer, the solution with ratio of 4:6 showed more than 2.5- and 6-fold increase in the solubility of ibuprofen compared with that without additives and that without menthol, respectively. The solution with menthol/ibuprofen ratio of 1:9 and higher than 15% poloxamer 188 showed the maximum solubility of ibuprofen, 1.2㎎/ml. Thus, menthol gave the greatly enhanced solubility of ibuprofen with poloxamer 188.

        아세클로페낙 연질캡슬(클란자 에스 연질캡슬)의 개발

        To develop and aceclofenac soft capsule, four preparations with various solubilizers were prepared and their dissolution test was carried out. Among four preparations tested, a preparation with ethanolamine was selected a formula of aceclofenac soft capsule (Clanza S^(™), since it showed the fastest dissolution rate. Bioequivalence of aceclofenac tablet, Airtal^(™)(Dae-Woong Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd.) and aceclofenac soft capsule, Clanza S^(™)(Korea United Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd.) was evaluated according to the guideline of KFDA. Fourteen normal male volunteers (age 20-25 years old) were divided into two groups and a randomized 2×2 cross-over study was employed. After oral administration of one tablet or capsule containing 100 ㎎ of aceclofenac, blood ws taken at predetermined time intervals and the concentration of aceclofenac in plasma wa determined with an HPLC method under UV detector. The pharmacokinetic parameters (C_(max), T_(max) and AUC_(t)) were calculated and ANOVA was utilized for the statistical analysis of parameters using logarithmically transformed AUC_(t), C_(max) and T_(max) between Airtal tablet and Clanza soft capsule were 2.89%, 0.18% and 43.0%, respectively. There were no sequence effects between two formulations in these parameters. The 90% confidence intervals using logarithmically transformed data were within the acceptance range of log(0.8) to log(1.250(e.g.log(0.81) - log(1.23) and log(0.89) - log(1.14)) for AUC_(t) and C_(max), respectively. Thus, the criteria of the KDFA guidelines for the equivalence was satisfied, indicating that Clanza S^(™) soft capsule is bioequivalent to Airtal^(™) tablet.
