The application of solar energy, in the field of alternative energy, was on the increase tendency. In the case of advanced nations, through continuous R&D, solar hot water heater with high efficiency has been used for the house and the industrial process on business, advanced nations were reached up the experimental stage of solar generation system. But, the actual circumstance of the domestic has been not accomplished the popularization of solar hot water heater and the settlement of it which is the fundamental stage of the solar energy usage. This trouble, the domestic was flooded with small enterprise for producing solar hot water heater, was caused by the popularization and the production without verification of performance. To supply the monitoring program for evaluating solar hot water heater, this research was purpose to improve the technical development of the enterprise for producing solar-heat hot-water-boiler and served as an aid for the enlargement and the popularization on solar energy.
高濃度有機排水の高溫 · 好氣處理における 力口り一/水 (C/W) 比の重要性

The significance of Calorie/Water (C/W) ratio was investigated in the treatment of highly concentrated orgnic wastes by the Thermophilic Oxic Process (TOP). Shochu progressing wastewater was used in this study. When C/W ratio was 2.18, most of carbon in influent was converted to CO_2 and all water was evaporated. Organic matter was not completely converted to carbon dioxide (CO_2) when the C/W ratio was less than 1.85. It is because that the biologicak activity was low due to the increase of moisture. The mixture in the reator was dried when C/W ratio was 4.13 beacuse excess energy was provied. Considering these results, it si concluded that the optimum C.W ratio is 2.18. The thermophilic oxic process is included in the high energy combustion, in other word this process was defined as "Biocombustion".
구조물의 비접촉 비파괴 검사를 위한 레이저 초음파법 적용

The defects evaluation of the interior and the surface would be considered as vital characteristics in predicting the total life span of the steel structure. More importantly, the understandings in the interior composite of welding zone and the notifications in the presence, the formation, and the positioning of the non-metallic inclusion are necessary as well, since there were signs of relatively high defect frequency presented in the welding zone. The ultrasonic testing is a highly recommended technique chosen from among other techniques because of variety of advantages in conducting the non-destructive testing for the welding zone. However, the ultrasonic testing had technical disadvantages referred as followings; the problems due to the couplant between the PZT and the specimen, the formations that were miniature and complex, the moving subject, and the high temperature surrounding the specimen. This research was conducted to resolve the technical disadvantages of the contact ultrasonic testing by studying the non-contact ultrasonic testing where the ultrasonic waves were transferred by the laser, and revealing the specimen defects at its interior part and its surface part. The ultimate goal of this research was to develop a non-destructive evaluation applying the laser manipulated ultrasonic method for the steel structure
진공청소기 팬 모터의 진동 및 소음원인 분석을 위한 유동해석

Recently technology resulted in highly efficient and multiple-functional electric appliances considering environmental problems. One of the environmental problems is noise of a product in respect to its function. A vacuum cleaner is an essential electric appliance in our daily lives. However, severe noise resulted from high motor speed for improving the function of the appliance is a nuisance for the user. This noise is caused by vibration from various parts of the appliance and fluid noise during a series of intake and exhaust processes while rotating the impeller connected to the axle at a high speed of the fan motor inside the vacuum cleaner rotating around 30,000-35,000rpm. Despite the fact that many researchers conducted studies on reducing the noise level of the fan motor in a vacuum cleaner, only few studies have been conducted considering both the theoretical and experimental aspects using fluid analysis by measuring vibration and noise. Moreover, there has not been a study that accurately compared major noise data obtained considering both of the aspects. In this study, both aspects were considered by considering the following experimental and theoretical methods to verify the major causes of noise from the fan motor in a vacuum cleaner.
용접결함의 형상인식을 위한 분류기 알고리즘의 성능 비교

In this study, we compared backpropagation network(BPNN) with probabilistic neural network(PNN) as the classification algorithm of welding flaws. For this purpose variables are appied the same to two algorithm. Here, feature variable is composed of time signal itself and frequency signal itself. Those are ultrasonic signals reflected on welding flaws. Through this process, we comfirmed advantages/disadvantages of two algorithms, identified application methods of two algorithms to classification methods of welding flaws. These advantages/disadvantages and application methods are based on theoretical backgrounds.

In this study, the researches classifying the natural flaws in welding parts are performed using the signal pattern classification method. For this purpose 500MHz storage digital oscilloscope including FFT function and enveloped waveform generator are used and the signal pattern recognition procedure is made up the digital signal processing, feature extraction, feature selection and classifier design. Specially it is composed with and discussed using the distance classifier is based in euclidean distance the empirical Bayesian classifier. In feature extracting, it is performed using the class-mean scatter criteria. And the signal Pattern classification method is applied to the signal pattern recognition problems of natural flaw that is porosity inclusion, slag inclusion, lack of penetration, lack of fusion. center crack, side crack, toe crack. root crack as the planar and volumetric flaw classification problem. According to this results, if appropriately learned the neural network classifier is better acquire the recognition rate of 86.31% above through it is different a little according to domain extracting the feature and the classifier

Noise cause is dividing to fluid noise by exhaust flow of fan and vibration noise by rotational vibration of motor. Until now, measuring method has been used to measure vibration by the accelerometer, this method has been not measured for the vibration in some parts of brush and commutator because of motor construction. This research was purposed on the accurate analysis, using laser vibration analyzer, of noise cause against the difficult part in old times. By using this measured data, we would like to use for the design of silent motor.
