東醫壽世保元의 文獻的 資料에 根據한 中風 治療에 대한 考察

The purpose of this study was to find the way of treatment and prevention the stroke by Sangsang constitutional medical therapy. I came to get some conclusions after considering literatures of 《Dongyi Suse Bowon》and the conclusions as follows. 1. In 《Dongyi Suse Bowon》the stroke of Soumin is caused by 'Interior cold disease'. When 'Interior Yin' can not descend, the disease arise. In this case Lee Je-ma used 'Sohabhyang-won(蘇合香元)' , 'Chulaek-su(鐵液水)' . 2. The stroke of Soyangin is caused by 'Interior heat disease'. When the hot Qi of stomach and spleen is blocked, the disease arise. In this case Lee Je-ma used 'Dokhwal-jihwang-tang(獨活地黃湯)' , 'Jihwang-baekho-tang(地黃白虎湯)'. 3. The stroke of Taeumin is caused by 'Dry and heat disease'. When the heat of liver and the dryness of lung is excessive, the disease arise. In this case Lee Je-ma treated with 'Woohwang-chungsim-hwan(牛黃淸心丸)'. 'Wonji-sukchangpo-tang(遠志石菖浦湯)' , and 'Kwache-san(瓜帝散)' etc. Above results indicate that not only taking medicine but also filling up the Healthy energy(保命之王) is important to treat stroke.

Thymoma is associated with myasthenia gravis, Pure red cell aplasia, and autoimmune diseases such as autoimmune hemolytic anemia, aplastic anemia, and hypogammaglobulinemia. It's association with aplastic anemia is rare and aplastic anemia appearing after surgical removal of thymoma is especially rare. The authors hereby report a case of aplastic anemia occuring in a patient who was diagnosed with thymoma and myasthenia gravis and had the tumor surgically removed. The patient was treated with anti-thymocyte globulin, cyclosporin, and prednisolone, and showed partial remission with hematologic improvements after 12 months.

P247 : A study on use of complementary and alternative medicine for acne

Background: Complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) is any practice that has healing effects, but is not based on evidence demonstrated by scientific method. Recently, CAM has been used in various diseases including acne. However, there have been no studies on CAM for acne in Korea. Objectives: The purpose of this study was to analyze the use of CAM in acne patients. Methods: A total of 159 patients with acne were enrolled on the study, and filled out a questionnaire about use of CAM. Results: Overall 87.4% (139/159) of the patients reported the previous or current use of at least one more type of CAM. Cosmetics for acne (100, 22.9%) was most frequently used, followed by diet therapy (81, 18.5%), spa and bath therapies (77, 17.6%), health food supplement (67, 15.3%), skin care shop (64, 14.6%), oriental medicine (38, 8.7%), and aromatherapy (9, 2.1%). The most common reason for using CAM was ``wish to try everything`` (28.6%), and the most common source of information was internet (40.5%). The therapeutic effect of CAM was best with diet therapy (32.1%). The most common side effect of CAM was aggravation of symptoms. The most common monthly cost for CAM was between 50,000 and 100,000 won/person. Conclusion: As our results, we can predict that the use of various types of CAM for acne will become more common. Therefore, dermatologists need to study about benefits and adverse effects of CAM for acne.

인터넷 메타데이타 검색 및 관리 시스템의 설계 및 구현

인터넷은 디지탈 형태의 다양한 정보를 신속하게 전달한다는 점에서 매우 각광을 받고 있다. 그러나, 대량의 인터넷 정보 중에서 자신이 원하는 정보 자원을 정확하게 많이 얻어 낼 수 있는 방법의 제공은 매우 어려운 문제이다. 본 논문에서는 인터넷 정보 자원의 메타데이타를 관리하기 위해 SeriCore라는 SGML 형식의 메타데이타 DTD(Document Type Definition)를 정의하고, 이들 메타데이타를 효율적으로 저장하고 검색, 관리할 수 있는 시스템을 설계, 구현하였다 The Internet has gained popularity because ot provides various information in digital format. However, it is very difficult to provide methods which make it possible to search adequate information resource from bulk of Internet information. 牛糞 添加가 産卵鷄의 成長과 初産卵 日齡, 初産卵時분重 및 初産卵重에 미치는 影響

In order to investigate the proper rate of addition of dehydrated cattle manure (DCM) to chicks feed, 0%, 1%, 3% and 5% of DCM were added to basal feed. These feeds were used to the pullets from one day old to the begining of laying. The results obtained were as follows; 1.No significant differences were detected among the lots in weight gain, the amount of feed intake and feed efficiency until 12 weeks. However a tendency was shown, i.e. the weight gain was redused as the rate of DCM was increased in the feed. 2.The age when 80% of pullets began to lay was 154 days old in the control lot. As the rate of DCM was increased in the feed, the age of laying was retarded (p<0.05). The body weight at the begining of laying also showed diffrences among lots (p<0.01), even though no tendency was detected in accordance with the content of DCM in the feed. However, heavier eggs were produced at the begining of laying, as the rate of DCM in the feed increased. The differences of weight of eggs among lots were not statiscal significance. 3.According to the above results it would be concluded that DCM could be added up to 5% until 12 weeks as grower feed for laying young chicks but not be added any amount in the pullet feed after 12 weeks of age.

완전 고환성 여성화 증후군 1례

저자들은 외형상 여성으로써 원발성 무월경과 양측 외음부 종양 촉지를 주소로 입원한 complete testicular feminization syncrome 1례를 경험하였기에 이를 문헌고찰과 함께 보고하는 바이다 The 46, XY individual with complete testicular feminization syndrome is a phenotypic female who is usually somewhat tall, has excellent breast development and presents to the gynecologist because of primary amenorrhea and an inguinal mass. In complete testicular feminization syndrome, axillary and pubic hair are sparse or absent and some degree of virilization such as clitorial hypertrophy, partial labioscrotal fusion and hirsutism doesn't occur at puberty. We report a case of complete testicular feminization syndrome with the brief review of literatures.

PEO가 첨가된 원형관 난류유동에서의 마찰저항 감소 측정

The drag reduction by polymer additive is a well-known phenomenon and has been widely studied due to its high usefulness. In this study, in order to obtain the fundamental data on the drag reduction by polymer additive. we measured the friction factors in the polymer added turbulent flow through a circular pipe for Reynolds number ranging 10000-50000. As polymer additive, PEO (polyethylene oxide: molecular weight 4 x l0^(6)) was used. We also performed the experiments varying the concentration of PEO from 3 to 24 wppm to investigate the effect of the PEO concentration on the drag reduction. We observed more than 25% drag reduction under the above experimental conditions and the most effective drag reduction was found at 6 wppm (31% drag reduction).

하악전치발치를 통한 교정

치열의 crowding을 해소하는 방법에는 크게 발치, 비발치로 크게 나눌 수 있다. 발치로 교정하는 경우 주로 고려되는 발치대상 치아는 제1,2 소구치이며 그 다음이 제2대구치, 하악전치, 제1대구치등 이다. 하악전치의 발치는 소구치 발치가 여의치 않을때, 선택적으로 사용될 수 있다. case를 잘 선택한다면, 치료시간도 줄일 수 있고, 간편하게, 심미적 및 기능적으로도 좋은 효과를 얻을 수 있다. 아직 이에 대한 국내 연구와 보고가 활발하지 않아 소개하고자 한다. There is a variation in the range of normal occlusion, and we must fit out treatment to the needs of each patient. If the upper or lower incisors are congenitally missing, malformed, or crowded, the extraction of the incisor has incisor has some advantages over the extraction of premolars and nonextractions. The advantages are 1)simple mechanics, 2)reduced treatment time, 3)less relapse tendency, and 4)fewer facial profile changes. In order to decide which incisor should be extracted, we must consider certain factors: 1)discrepancies in anterior arch length, 2)anterior tooth ratio, 3)periodontal and tooth health condition, and 4)the relationship between the upper and lower midline. Diagnostic set-up can be helpful to plan the treatment and show us the post treatment result.

잠제의 형상 변화에 따른 반사파 및 투과파의 거동특성

A numerical model is represented to calculate the wave fields such as the reflected waves, the transmitted waves, and depth averaged velocities over submerged breakwaters for the normally incident wave trains of nonlinear monochromatic wave. The numerical model is correctly formulated by using both the finite amplitude shallow water equations with the effects of bottom friction and the explicit dissipative Lax-Wendroff finite difference scheme, also satisfactorily verified by comparison with the other results. The behaviors of reflected and transmitted waves with respect to geometric parameters of submerged breakwater such as the slope, crest depth, and crest width are numerically analyzed in this study. In particular, the reflection and transmission coefficients are quantitatively calculated as the function of geometric parameter of submerged breakwater. It is found that the crest depth among parameters related to practical design may be the most important parameter in designing the submerged breakwater. Therefore, the effective and economic performances of submerged breakwater should be depended on the determination of optimal crest depth.

1. The values of Cronbach's alpha for the Taeyang, Taeum, Soyang and Swum questionnaire were 0.7955, 0.7776, 0.8545, and 0.8601 respectively. These results indicate a highly satisfactory level of internal consistency for the questionnaire. 2. If the deletion of an item increases Cronbach's alpha then what that means is that the deletion of that item improves reliability. Therefore, any items that result in substantially greater values of alpha than the overall alpha may need to be deleted from the questionnaire to improve its reliability. 3. Factor analysis was performed on the 81 questionnaires. Based on the scree plot and the number and decrement of eigen values greater than one, three to four factor solution was most significant. 4. The hierarchical cluster analysis was performed on the 81 Sasang constitution questionnaire. These results suggested that two or four clusters identified with homogeneous groups 5. The hierarchical cluster analysis was performed on the 1046 responders. These results suggested that two, three, or four clusters might identified with homogeneous groups. Furthermore, there were statistically significant difference among the each group by ANOVA(P<0.0001).
