Peroxiredoxin V, an atypical thioredoxin peroxidase, is widely expressed in mammalian tissues. In addition, Prdx V is localized in mitochondria, peroxisome, cytosol, and nucleus. Prdx V has been reported to protect a wide range of cellular environments as antioxidant enzyme, and its dysfunctions may be implicated in several diseases, such as cancer, inflammation, and neurodegenerative disease. Identification and relative quantification of proteins affected by Prdx V may help identify novel signaling mechanisms that are important for oxidative stress response. However, the role of Prdx V in the modulation of hypoxia‐related cellular response is not studied yet. In order to examine the function of endogenous Prdx V in hypoxic condition in vivo, we generated a transgenic mouse model with Prdx V siRNA expression controlled by U6 promoter. Of many tissues, the knockdown of Prdx V expression was displayed in kidney, lung, and liver, but not spleen and skin. We conducted on the basis of nano‐UPLC‐MSE proteomic study to identify the Prdx V‐affected protein networks in hypoxic kidneys. In this study, we identified protein networks associated with oxidative stress, fatty acid metabolism, and mitochondrial dysfunction. Our results indicated that Prdx V affected to regulation of kidney homeostasis under hypoxia stress.

It is possible not only to treat high concentration organic matter such as food wastes but also to utilize food wastes as resources according to the bio-energy generation such as methane. The method of co-digestion of mixed wastewater mixed with organic wastes such as sewage sludge concentrated waters together with drinking wastewater is the most ideal method. Radiation not only has germicidal power in water treatment, but also is effective in decomposing degradable organic matter. Second chemical contamination problem is also solved because it does not use chemicals. Introduction of radiation pretreatment system to solve problems caused by mixing of waste water and organic waste resources. Biological electrochemical fusion system is used to remove the nutrients contained in the organic matter-removed mixture. Through the development of a system for treatment of high concentration wastewater, the processing efficiency is verified through the universal water treatment system for wastewater containing high concentration organic matter in addition to treatment of wastewater.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the joint moment on lower extremity during a developpe devant. Data were collected by Kwon3D, KwonGRF program. Two professional modem female dancers were participated in this experiment. Subjects performed a developpe devant in meddle heights. On the axes of X, Y, Z, it was shown that the maximum joint moment was occurred in hip joint. The moments are plotted during developpe devant. The ankle muscles generate a plantar flexion moment and the knee muscles generate a flexion moment and The hip muscles generate a extension moment. So these muscles of joint muscles were known to play a key role in keeping the body balance while doing developpe devant. In addition adduction moment occurred at hip, knee, an ankle in the order of amount, we could assume from this data that turn out motion started from the hip joint. There was small active turn out possible below the hip joint. A small amount of extra turn out could be obtained when standing because of flexion between the foot and floor, which could be used to give a passive external rotation force to the whole leg and this could produce a rotation between the knee and foot. This passive external rotation could produce very damaging results. Therefore, lower extremity joint muscles such as hip, knee, and ankle muscle should be trained to keep the body balance and prevent injury during developpe devant performance. And for the safe and perfect turn ort performance, hip joint abduction, the most important external rotating muscle for turn out is needed to train and full stretching should be done in advance.

The study was conducted to evaluate the difference of life style, subjective symptoms and health cognition depending on the Sasang Constitution in the industrial workers. The results were as follows ; Constitutional distribution among exposed group were Tae-eum In(38.4%), So-eum In(35.2%), and So-yang In(26.4%) and it was turned out that Tae-eum In took a higher portion of Sasang constitution than other constitutions in technician workers. 'Exercise' and 'Obesity' were found most in Tae-eum In, In So-eum In there were many 'Normal' weight and 'Having digestive disorders' were found most in So-eum In. There were no significant difference in the health cognition among the constitutions. The closer to 'normal' weight, the higher prevalence in 'having' concern about health condition and the more 'normal' condition in sleeping, the higher prevalence of 'having' self-confident in present health.
상악골과 비사골동에 이환된 백악질 골화성 섬유종(cemento-ssifying fibroma)의 치험례

The cemento-ossifying fibroma is a benign fibro-osseous tumor that may behave in an aggressive pattern. Although found predominantly in the mandible, most of these unusual tumors may arise in the maxilla and paranasal sinuses. Especially these lesion in the maxilla and sinuses behave more aggressively and are more prone to recur compared to mandibular counterparts. Therefore, more radical approach may be recommended than expectant observation or curettage in the initial management of this neoplasm. This is a case report of cemento-ossifying fibroma extended to maxillary sinus and naso-ethmoidal area treated by wide surgical excision after repeated conservative treatments.

In order to investigate seepage failure of sand layer and analyze the effect of the loaded filter constructed on the top of the layer, small scale laboratory tests were carried out on 6 kinds of grain sized sand layers with and without loaded filter of variations of thickness. The results obtained are as follows; 1. The relationship between critical velocity and critical gradient had positive correlation and appears to be linear equation regardless of grain size of the sand. 2. The critical velocity had a trend to increase linearly as grain size of the sand get to be bigger. And the critical velocity in the effective size of 10mm appeared to be about 15 times of that of the 0.2㎜ effective size. 3. The critical velocity was increased according to increase the thickness of loaded filter. And the critical velocity in the 8㎝ thick of loaded filter showed to be 2 times as comparison to the case of no loaded filter. In virtue of the conclusion above, the seepage force can fail sand layer seriously but the stability of sand layers will be able to improve remarkably by construction of loaded filter on the top of the sand layer.
부분적으로 유체가 채워진 원통형 관내의 외팔보 진동특성에 관한 실험적 연구

This paper presents the vibration characteristics of an intelligent cantilever beam in contact with fluid using PZT actuator and PVDF film. The effect of liquid level on free vibration of composite beam in a partially liquid-filled circular cylinder is investigated. The dynamic behaviors of a flexible beam-water interaction system are examined. The coupled system is subject to an undisturbed boundary condition in the fluid domain. In the vibration analysis of wetted beam, the decoupled analyses between beam and fluid have been conventionally employed by considering firstly the composite beam vibration in air and secondly performing the correction taking account for surrounding fluid effects. That is, this investigation was to look at how natural frequencies, mode shapes, and damping are affected by liquid level variations. Using the coupled modal reanalysis method employing the governing equations and the clamped-free and free-free boundary conditions, the vibration analysis of beam in contact with fluid is performed. We also carried out the experimental verification about reliability of theoretical methods to inclusive vibration analysis of the fluid-structure system with PZT actuator and PVDF film. It was found that the coupled natural frequencies decrease with the fluid level for the identical composite beam due to added mass effect.
