Influence of Al2O3 Content and Cooling Rate on Crystallization in Fe2O3–CaO–SiO2–Al2O3 Systems

The behavior of silico-ferrite of calcium and aluminum (SFCA) phases and the influence of sintered ore quality were investigatedusing a confocal laser scanning microscope to understand how the Al2O3content of iron ore affects the sintered orestructure and the crystallization behavior of SFCA in a Fe2O3–CaO–Al2O3–SiO2 pseudo-quaternary system. The experimentalresults were used to inform simulations of the heterogeneous dynamic behavior in response to the rapid temperature changesand various chemical compositions typically encountered in actual sintering processes. Increasing the Al2O3content in theFe2O3–CaO–Al2O3–SiO2 pseudo-quaternary system led to the hematite content decreasing, which affects the reducibilityof the sintered ore. The correlation between the creation of SFCA and the cooling effect associated with varying the Al2O3is discussed in detail.

A Study on the Functionality of Halophytes from Coast area of Jeollanam-do

This study was undertaken to improve the perceived value of halophytes and contribute to the activity of the local economy by analyzing the antioxidant activity and mineral content of Suaeda japonica, Tetragonia tetragonoides, and Spergularia marina that grow wild on the mud flats and coastal areas. The total phenolic compound content found in each order is as follows: Suaeda japonica (3.674∼5.989 mg TAE/g dry wt.), Tetragonia tetragonoides (2.515∼4.471 mg TAE/g dry wt.), and Spergularia marina (2.450∼4.067 mg TAE/g dry wt.); DPPH radical scavenging and ABTS cation radical scavenging activities were also recorded in the same order. In the case of minerals, Iron(Fe) was relatively high in Suaeda japonica (960.1∼1,346.7 mg/kg), Manganese(Mn) in Tetragonia tetragonoides (197.1∼574.8 mg/kg), and Zinc(Zn) was relatively high in Spergularia marina (63.19∼216.56 mg/kg). It was confirmed that the mineral content of Suaeda japonica, Tetragonia tetragonoides, and Spergularia marina was significantly higher than that of Chinese cabbage, lettuce, leek, and spinach.

혈중 및 호기 일산화탄소를 이용한 일산화탄소 헤모글로빈 농도간의 관련성 연구

This study was conducted to find a correlation between blood COHb and calculated COHb with expiratory air and related variables such as occupational and smoking factors. Author selected 69 healthy workers in 8 workplaces suspected CO exposure. Basic informations were collected by self-reported questionnaire and medical history taking. Author measured Indirect COHb concentration with expiratory air using Micro II-Smokerlyzer and blood COHb concentration using Oxymeter. The results of the study were summarized as follows : 1. In the smoker, mean blood COHb and calculated COHb with expiratory air were 2.21±0.98% and 2.27±0.97 %, and there was not a statistically significant difference. In the non-smoker, mean blood COHb and calculated COHb with expiratory air were 0.42±0.43 % and 0,65±0.30 %, and there was also not a statistically significant difference. 2. There were positive correlations between blood COHb and calculated COHb with expiratory air in both the smoker (r=0.91, p=0.0001) and non-smoker (r=0.73, p=0.0001). 3. In the smoker, the factors affected COHb were total smoking index (Pack × years) and passed time after the last smoking. 4. In the nonsmoker, the parking and driving groups had higher COHb concentration than others (p<0.05). In conclusion, there was no significant difference between indirect COHb concentration with expiratory air using Smokerlyzer and blood COHb concentration and there was a highly significant correlation between indirect and blood COHb concentrations. Therefore indirect COHb concentration with expiratory air is a useful screening method for CO exposure. Author suggest the resection of smoking during at least 90 minutes before measuring COHb concentration in order to exclude smoking effects.

당뇨병 환자에서 발생한 대장 가성폐색증 1예

가성 장폐색은 기계적인 폐색부위가 없이 복부팽만과 구토 등 장폐색의 증상과 징후가 나타나는 질환을 말하며, 선행원인을 찾을 수 없는 원발성 가성 장폐색과 다른 질환에 이차적으로 발생하는 속발성 가성 장폐색으로 나눌 수 있다. 당뇨병은 잘 알려진 속발성 가성 장폐색의 원인이지만 실제로 당뇨병에 의한 가상 장폐색의 발생 빈도는 매우 드문 것으로 보이며, 가성 장폐색의 적절한 치료에 대해서는 아직 논란이 있다. 저자들은 2형 당뇨병 환자에게 대장에 국한된 급성 가성 장폐색을 진단하고 보존적 치료를 시행하여 호전된 1예를 경험하였기에 문헌고찰과 함께 보고하는 바이다. Colonic pseudo-obstruction is a disorder characterized by gross dilatation of the colon in the absence of any anatomic lesions, which obstructs the flow of the intestinal contents. Diabetes is a well known cause of secondary pseudo-obstruction but its prevalence in rare and not well understood. A 59-year-old woman patient was admitted due to abdominal distension and nausea of a day's duration. She was diagnosed with diabetes 15 years ago, but the condition had been poorly controoled. On the abdominal radiographs, there were marked small and large bowel dilatation with the, exception of the descending colon. Our initial diagnosis was mechanical obstruction, but the possible causes were not found. Also, we could not find another cause of the secondary pseudo-obstruction, with the exception of diabetes mellitus. Thus, she was diagnosed with a diabetes induced intestinal pseudo-obstruction. The colonic dilatation was resolved by conservative management and she became comfortable in 10 hospital days, and was subsequently discharged.

토끼에서 근육주사시 입자 크기에 따른 amoxicillin의 비교 약물동태학

To investigate the pharmacokinetic difference between the two amoxicillin (AMX) particles in rabbits after intramuscular injection (i.m.), both of AMX-S (particle size: 10 ㎍) and AMX-L (particle size: 100 ㎍) were injected into New Zealand White rabbits (1.2±0.3 ㎏) at a dose rate of 10 ㎎/㎏ of body weight. In this study, serum AMX concentrations were detected by microbiological assay with E. coli BE 1186 which shows high antibiotic sensitivity. After i.m. administration, AMX-S and AMX-L were best fitted as 1-compartment model with the absorption and elimination phase. The biological half-life (T_1/2, _k10) of AMX-S is 4.06±1.09 h and that of AMX-L 4.76±0.69 h. The serum maximal concentration time (T_max) of AMX-S and AMX-L were 0.88±0.17 h and 0.77±0.11 h, respectively. Maximal AMX concentration (C_max) (AMX-S: 5.71±0.62 ㎍/㎖, AMX-L: 5.04±0.25 ㎍/㎖) in serum showed a significant difference (p<0.05). In terms of bioequivalance, however, there was no difference between the two AMX's after i.m. injection in the basis of C_max and AUC.

The decline of consumption due to economic depression and recession has changed the past maker-centered distribution structure into the consumer-centered one. Migliore have emerged as the new distribution firm with these change of the times. Aggressive promotion and advertisements of the Migliore make, as they say, the fifth distribution industry which is the fashion-shopping malls and provide the expansion of it in the regional cities as well as Seoul. In the aspects of shop numbers, compare to the last couple of years, almost a double amount of shops have been increased. Nevertheless the fast extension of the market size has produced several problems such as over supplies made an excessive competition between the shops. Therefore, the purpose of this study is the evaluation about a new type of distribution emerging recently in the rapidly changing environment of distribution, and to improve the service quality of shopping malls so that they can overcome the severe competitions and develop for the long run.

고리형 에테르의 반응성에 관한 연구

The reactivity increase of unsubstituted energetic compound in cyclic ethers was found in order of three-membered cyclic form < five-membered cyclic form < four-membered cylclic form. The nucleophilicity and basicity of cyclic ethers can be explained by the negative charge on oxygen atom of cyclic ethers. The reactivity of propagation in the polymerization of cylclic ehters can be represented by the positive charge on carbon atom and the LUMO energy of active species of cyclic ethers.

It is feedback and interaction possibilities enable advertisers and Internet users to be customer and differentiate the advertisement to met user's own requirements. Its distribution opportunity is especially is suitable for the companies can benefit by building a brand image to establish a userlink or simply to learn about interactive media. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to find out the relation between the Internet advertising which would work as the leading media in corporations' marketing communications and the Internet user characteristics, and to show the evaluations of each type of advertisement by Internet user characteristics.

Today, the Ministry of Environment has made great efforts in various fields :improving water quality, providing clean tap water, reducing air pollutants in urban and industrial areas, reducing and recycling wastes, managing hazardous wastes, preserving wilderness, expanding environmental awareness through education and developing clean technology. However, green consumer's needs and expectations are changing and diversifying, resulting in a changed global environment for industry, such as ozone depletion and global warming. Due to these changes, many companies are striving to achieve the Environment High -Technology Venture in Korea. In this paper, we are analyzed of the business strategies used by small, growth-seeking firms in environment high technology industries. The construct of active policy was examined from both a micro level, focusing on individual strategy dimensions, and a macro level, focusing on the firm' overall strategic postures and patterns of strategy-related variables.
