The dose-response effect of polysaccharide extracts(PS-1) from Artemisia iwayomogi was investigated under various hepatic disease models. Silymarin, DDB and UDCA were used as reference compounds. We found that the maximal effective dose of PS-1 was 100 ㎎/㎏ b.wt. in CCl_4-induced hepatotoxicity, D-galactosamine-induced hepatitis, in ANIT-induced cholestasis and 300 ㎎/㎏ b.wt. in CCl_4-induced chronic liver disease, 30 ㎎/㎏ b.wt. in chronic bile duct ligation and chronic ethanol fatty liver. These findings suggest that PS-1 fraction protects the hepatocyte against various hepatic injuries, and this fracton might be of therapeutic value.

The whole process of manufacturing diabatic leather for upper and lining is investigated into raw skin, pelt wet bule, crust leather and finished leather It is tried to make the more functional upper leather and lining leather in the whole leather process by the use of developed recipr. The lower chrommed wet blue for upper and lining is developed through tanning process. The air-permeability of crust leather for upper and lining is incerased through miling The hygiene of finished leather for upper and lining is increased by the of antibacterial and deodorization agents. The upper leathe and lining leather through these have the more improved physical properies of the finished leather than those through other treatments.

The aim of the study is to examine the theoretical background and method of the interperiod tax alloction, and to apply the allocation method to Korea's coporations in business. The interperiod allocation is to distribute the differences between income tax and income expense for the accounting year related, so the objective of the allocation is to provide the useful information to the users of financial statements. As Korea has not the accounting method of interperiod tax allocation as the current accountion standart yet, the methods developed in the study for the application are suggested as follows. First, the allocation method should be applied after revision the tax law of Korea, and be applied first to the listed enterprises which are large in scale and require more information, and be extented to the outside enterprises. Second, the method of the allocation are deferred method, liability method and net of tax method, and among them, adopting the liability method is reasonable as it is considerable and applicable to practical use. Third, for the applicable range for accounting of the allocationg there are two different concepts, partical allocation and comprehensive allocation, and of the two methods comprehensive allocation will be suitable. Fourth, the items of balance sheet should be showed by the year and the effect and extinction of income taxes should be indicated as footnotes in the financial statement.
홍색소에 의한 염색연구 : 임원십육지의 색명을 중심으로 Based on Rimwonsimyouk-ji

Korean traditional colors are classified into blue, green, brown, black, red series. The number of these color-names, displayed in the Yi-dynasty literatures like Chosunwangchosilik, Rimwonsimyoukji, Goongjoongbalgi, is 152. The red colors among the 152 color-names is 39 and the names of red-color series comes out most frequently in the literatures. Rimwonsimyoukji shows 48 color-names and records generally their dyeing materials and methods. The 48 includes 14 names of red-color series and 15 methods of their dyeing. Unfortunately, the methods, recorded in Rimwonsimyoukji, does not show in detail about the dyeing materials and the ratio of the materials. Therefore, we tried to find the methods through other literatures, and we studies to recover 5 Korean traditional red-colors by 10 methods which we looked up in the other literatures. Finally, color fastness to daylight, to washing, and to rubbing are tested in order to examine the practicability of the recovered red-colors. While the colors are beautiful, their color-fastness are low partly to daylight and washing. Therefore, the recovered red-colors can be used to make folk souvenir for sightseeing industry and to dye clothes with high quality which do not expose long to daylight and require special washing. The recovered red-dyeing will contribute to regenerate Korean traditional culture with red-color and to develop nonpolluting dyeing industry with high profit.
유기농 자재의 시용이 토양의 이화학적 성질과 상추, 가지의 생육 및 체내성분에 미치는 영향

This study was carried out to investigate the effect of microbial fertilizers on the application of organic farming materials in soil on growth and yields of leaf lettuce, eggplant. Three microbial fertilizers, Aika, Kalen-gold and EMRO-EM were used. The results were summarized as follows ; 1. The effect of soil chemical properties after application organic arming materials, The amounts of pH, EC, P2O5 and O.M. treated all plot were few of change. 2. Change of soil microbial after application organic farming materials, The number of bacteria, actinomycetes and fungi in N, P, K treated plot showed the increased tendency, to the contrary, The number of bacteria, actimycetes in Aika, kalen-gold and EMRO-EM treated plot showed the increased, The number of fungi showed the dicreased tendency 3. The application effects of Aika, Kalen-gold and EMRO-EM on the growth, yield and components of leaf lettuce and eggplant in comparison with chemical fertilizers plot was not a difference.
水盜作에서 親環境農業 定着을 위한 오리 및 왕우렁이 農法의 可能性 分析

Concerns on use of excess amount of chemical fertilizer and pesticide in current farming system turns both of the producer and consumer of agricultural products to an organic farming which use a less chemicals and more natural manure. Possibility Analysis of Pond-snail and Duck Faming for Environment-friendly Agriculture in paddy field. Depression effect of weed occurrence by pasture of 5kg of the Pond-snail(Ampullarius insularus) per 10a and the 7th day after transplanting. Optimum duck rasing density in rice paddy field was was 25~30 heads per 10a and ducks could be harvested three times in a year starting from 40 days after mature-seedling machine transplanting. The weed control rate of the duck raised paddy field was superior to the conventional agriculture. Yield per 10a of the duck raised and pond-snail(Ampullarius insularus) farming was inferior to conventional agriculture. The earnings of The Duck and Pond-snail farming realize a profit. From these results, it seems that the Organic farming are usefel and pasture of the Duck, Pond-snail(Ampullarius insularus) for depression of the weed occurrence is effective as the environmental perservation farming.
