        어패럴 CAD System의 활용화 방안 연구(Ⅱ) : 테일러드 쟈켓 설계 과정을 중심으로

        The Purpose of this study was to utilize of CAD System in pattern making process for women's apparel. The automation by the use of CAD System provides the higher accuracy and efficiency in pattern making process. AccuMark 300 System was used, for this study. The results from this study were as follows 1. New size spec chart and grading pitch chart were developed based on the data analysis and fitting tests for female college students. 2. New jacket block was developed based on the torso length sloper. 3. Automatic grading of jacket block have been developed by creation and modification of grading rules of block pattern. 4. Pattern Design Systyem(P/D/S) were enabled to be constructed directly form a block pattern by modifications to existing styled pattern. 5. Original master pattern was generated by P/D/S menu option. 6. Production pattern added seam allowance, notchs was generated by P/D/S menu option. 7. Interative maker making process have enabled to save a wide range of time and space. 8. Measurement of garment by P/D/S measuring tools is to utilize in garment costing, quality control.

        어패럴 CAD System의 활용화 방안 연구(Ⅰ) : Hip Block 의 개발

        The Purpose of this study was to develop pattern drafting methods of the hip block and sleeve for female college students of 18 to 26 year-old. The study procedures and results were as follows 1. 313 female college students were measured, 17items were analyzed statisitcally. 2. New hip block and sleeve sloper were developed based on the result of the data analysis and fitting tests. 3. The sensory test was applied to evaluate the new hip block and sleeve sloper for female college student by comparing it with Japanese Bunka method sloper. According to statistical analysis of the result of 40items on the questionnaire, all the items showed significant difference(a∠=0.01) between the two, with the new pattern having higher scores. The new drafting method proved to be better fitted at all 40items, and to be comfortable.

        피질이형성증과 동반된 난치성 간질의 외과적 치료

        The advent of neuroimaging technique has enabled the accurate diagnosis of structural abnormalities associated with intractable epilepsy. Among these, neuronal migration disorders(NMDs) or cortical dysplasias(CDs) involving cerebral cortex are increasingly recognized as a major cause of intractable epilepsy. CDs are expressed as variety of forms depending upon the time of injury to the developing nervous system. CDs are highly and intrinsically epileptogenic. It is crucial to completely resect the epileptogenic zone in focal CDs for better seizure outcome. Hemispherectomy or multilobar resection is preferred for hemimegalencephaly. Callosotomy can be chosen in the diffuse CDs who have intractable drop attacks. However, resective surgery can benefit the selected patients with diffuse CDs if localizing information persists.

        원격탐사에 사용되는 편미분방정식을 고속으로 풀기 위한 기법을 프로그래밍하고 성능을 향상시킬 수 있는 방법을 제시했다. 미지수가 30만개 이상되는 복소수(non-Hermitian) 행렬의 해를 구하는 프로그램을 작성했다. 이 프로그램은 C와 PVM에 기반을 두고 있다. 수렴속도를 향상시키기 위해 대각 스케일링을 이용했다. 통신속도의 개선을 위해 데이터 압축 기법을 이용했다. 수렴속도를 측정 제시함으로써 실제 문제 적용에 참고할 수 있다. Network-based computing with cluster of personal computers or workstations recently has become an important and successful technique. Network-based computing enables fast computation and resolves short of storage with computers on the desks. Cluster of inexpensive computers offers them aggregated computing power and storage to challenge very large-scale problems. Iterative solvers are used for the large sparse linear systems. Preconditioners accelerate the rate of convergence of the iterative solvers. However, parallelization accelerate the rate of convergence of the iterative solvers. However, parallelization of preconditioners is far from satisfaction so far. Thus, the simplest diagonal scaling is a good alternative for improved convergence and easy parallelization. In order to reduce communication overhead, a data compression technique is considered. Data communication time can be reduced at the cost of convergence rate. MATLAB simulation result is given in this paper. This method is effective to cluster of computers connected through slow networks.

        Objectives : the purpose of this study is to report the improvement of HIVD patients with gait difficulty, who treated by M.S.T(Motion Style Treatment) Methods : the clinical study was done on 3 cases of patients with disc extrusion, whose walking ability was not improved after the admission in Ja-Seng Oriental Medicine Hospital for a week. we checked the walking time and NRS score after the treatment of M.S.T(Motion Style Treatment) each day. Results : the walking time increased after the treatment of M.S.T(Motion Style Treatment). Whereas NRS score decreased after the treatment of M.S.T(Motion Style Treatment). after 2-3 weeks of treatment, 3 cases of patients could walk more than 20 minutes.

        Expression of Human Lactoferrin Gene in Transgenic Rice (Oryza sativa L.)

        Lactoferrin is an 80-kDa iron-binding glycoprotein known to exert many biological activities, such as facilitating iron absorption and having antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory effects. Rice can be a useful target for edible food plants to introduce human lactoferrin, because it has lower allergenicity and is likely to be safer than microorganisms or transgenic animals. A cDNA fragment encoding human lactoferrin (HLF) driven by the maize polyubiquitin promoter, along with herbicide resistance gene (bar) driven by CaMV 35S promoter, was introduced into rice (Oryza sativa L. cv. Dong Jin) using the Agrobacterium -mediated transformation system. Putative transformants were initially selected on the medium containing bialaphos. The stable integration of the bar and HLF genes into transgenic rice plants was further confirmed through polymerase chain reaction (PCR) and Southern blot analyses. The expression of the full length HLF protein from various tissues such as grains and young leaves of transgenic rice was verified by Western blot analysis. Analysis of progeny also demonstrated that introduced genes were stably inherited to the next generation at the Mendelian fashion.

      • Comprehensive Genome-Wide Proteomic Analysis of Human Placental Tissue for the Chromosome-Centric Human Proteome Project

        <P>As a starting point of the Chromosome-Centric Human Proteome Project (C-HPP), we established strategies of genome-wide proteomic analysis, including protein identification, quantitation of disease-specific proteins, and assessment of post-translational modifications, using paired human placental tissues from healthy and preeclampsia patients. This analysis resulted in identification of 4239 unique proteins with high confidence (two or more unique peptides with a false discovery rate less than 1%), covering 21% of approximately 20 059 (Ensembl v69, Oct 2012) human proteins, among which 28 proteins exhibited differentially expressed preeclampsia-specific proteins. When these proteins are assigned to all human chromosomes, the pattern of the newly identified placental protein population is proportional to that of the gene count distribution of each chromosome. We also identified 219 unique <I>N</I>-linked glycopeptides, 592 unique phosphopeptides, and 66 chromosome 13-specific proteins. In particular, protein evidence of 14 genes previously known to be specifically up-regulated in human placenta was verified by mass spectrometry. With respect to the functional implication of these proteins, 38 proteins were found to be involved in regulatory factor biosynthesis or the immune system in the placenta, but the molecular mechanism of these proteins during pregnancy warrants further investigation.       • Development of a Mitochondria-Targeted Hsp90 Inhibitor Based on the Crystal Structures of Human TRAP1

        <P>The mitochondrial pool of Hsp90 and its mitochondrial paralogue, TRAP1, suppresses cell death and reprograms energy metabolism in cancer cells; therefore, Hsp90 and TRAP1 have been suggested as target proteins for anticancer drug development. Here, we report that the actual target protein in cancer cell mitochondria is TRAP1, and current Hsp90 inhibitors cannot effectively inactivate TRAP1 because of their insufficient accumulation in the mitochondria. To develop mitochondrial TRAP1 inhibitors, we determined the crystal structures of human TRAP1 complexed with Hsp90 inhibitors. The isopropyl amine of the Hsp90 inhibitor PU-H71 was replaced with the mitochondria-targeting moiety triphenylphosphonium to produce SMTIN-P01. SMTIN-P01 showed a different mode of action from the nontargeted PU-H71, as well as much improved cytotoxicity to cancer cells. In addition, we determined the structure of a TRAP1–adenylyl-imidodiphosphate (AMP-PNP) complex.         소아 제 1 형 당뇨병이 골대사와 골밀도에 미치는 영향

        Background: The effects of type 1 diabetes mellitus on the metabolism and density of bone in children are still controversial. The aim of this study was to evaluate the effects of type 1 diabetes on markers of bone metaboism and BMD in children by analyzing BMI, HbAlc, biochemical markers, sex hormones, bone metabolism and BMD related factors. Methods: We compared 36 patients (15 males, 21 females) with type l diabetes mellitus to 167 healthy children (84 males, 83 females) who lived in Taegu. We measured FBS, serum calcium, phosphorus, HbAlc, osteocalcin, testosterone and estradiol for analyzing the factors which influence on bone metabolism and BMD. BMD was measured at lumbar spine, femur and total body by DEXA. Results: The BMI and serum level of osteocalcin were not different in both groups. Serum calcium level was significantly lower in the diabetic group than that of control group. BMD had no difference in both groups. There was no correlation between BMD and glycemic control (HbAlc) or duration of diabetes. There was good correlation (r=0.78, p$lt;0.01) between serum testosterone level and BMD in male patient group. There was negative correlation (r=-0.4) between serum osteocalcin level and BMD. There was significant correlation (male: r=0.76, female: r=0.66) between lean body mass and BMD in both group. Conclusion: The BMD was not decreased significantly and bone turn-over was normal in children with noncomplicated type 1 diabetes mellitus, and BMD was not influenced by the duration or degree of metabolic control of diabetes. But, we need further study including other risk factors that have influences on BMD and bone metabolism in type 1 diabetes mellitus (J Kor Soc Endocrinol 15:582-590, 2000).

        Constituents of the Stems and Fruits of Opuntia ficus-indica var. saboten

        From the stems and fruits of Opuntia ficus-indica var. saboten, eight flavonoids, kaempferol (1), quercetin (2), kaempferol 3-methyl ether (3), quercetin 3-methyl ether (4), narcissin (5), (+)-dihydrokaempferol (aromadendrin, 6), (+)-dihydroquercetin (taxifolin, 7), eriodictyol (8), and two terpenoids, (6S,9S)-3-oxo-$\alpha-ionol-\beta$-D-glucopyranoside (9) and corchoionoside C (10) were isolated and identified by means of chemical and spectroscopic. Among these isolates, compounds 3∼5 and 8∼10 were reported for the first time from the stems and fruits of O. ficusindica var. saboten.
