읽기폭 검사는 언어이해처리에 필요한 작업기억의 용량을 측정한다고 알려진 과제이다. 이 검사는 근래의 언어이해와 관련된 개인차 연구에서 많이 사용되어 부분적으로 타당도를 인정받은 검사이다. 그러나 아직까지 이 검사의 신뢰도는 보고된 바가 없다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 읽기폭 검사의 신뢰도를 검토하고자 하였다. 신뢰도의 검토를 위해 검사-재검사 신뢰도와 동형검사 신뢰도 방법을 이용하여 읽기폭 검사의 신뢰도를 측정하였다. 특히 동형검사 신뢰도를 측정하기 위해서 읽기폭 검사 한 벌을 추가로 고안하였다. 두 가지 유형의 신뢰도에서 읽기폭 검사는 비교적 높은 신뢰도를 보여주었다. The reading span test is the one that measures working memory capacity required in reading comprehension. In several individual difference studies on language comprehension, this task has proved to be valid. However, there has been no report on the reliability of the task. The goal of this study is to measure the reliability of the reading span test. To do this, the test-retest reliability and the alternative test reliability of the test have been measured. Especially, to measure the alternative test reliability, the alternative test of the reading span test was made. The reading span test shows relative high reliability in two indices.
세포질내 정자주입법(ICSI)에 있어서 정자흡입 및 난자내 주입방법에 관한 연구

Study on Method of Sperm Aspiration and Injection into an Oocyte in Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection(ICSI) Immobilization of spermatozoa prior to intracytoplasmic sperm iniection(ICSI) sometimes results in crooked tail and this makes it difficult to aspirate sperm into an injection pipette tail first. Head-first sperm aspiration into an injection pipette avoid this problem due to the bigger size of the sperm head. The effect of head or tail-first sperm injection into an oocyte on fertilization cleavage, percentage of grade I embryos and development to blastocyst stage in ICSI program has been studied. A single living immobilized spermatozoa from oligoasthenozoospermic patient was injected into an oocyte head-first or tail-first according to the treatment. Eighteen hours after microinjection, oocytes ware inspected for survival and fertilization Fertilized oocytes with two pronuclei were cultured in 30μl drop of mHTF supplemented with 10% heat-inactivated follicular fluid(FF) at 37℃. On day 2. embryo transfer was performed with cleaved embryos. The remaining 2-8 cell stage embryos were co-cultured with BRL cells in mHTF + 10% FF for 72 hours and the developmental stage was observed. The data were analyzed by Analysis of Variance. A total of 164 oocytes from 36 cycles were assigned to earth treatment and ICSI was performed(88 head-first, tail-first). The rates of normal fertilization were 81.8% and 76.3% for head-first and tail-first, respectively. Of the fertilized oocytes, the percentage of cleaved embryos and the percentage of grade 1 embryo among cleaved embryos were 88.9% and 68.8%, 93.1% and 74.1% for head-first and tail-first, respectively. Of the 2-8 cell embryos cultured, 44.4%(16/36) and 50.0%(10/20) for head first and tail first, respectively developed to blastocyst stage. There were no differences in fertilization, cleavage, rates of grade 1 embryos, and development to blastocyst stage. In conclusion, head-first or tail-first sperm injection into an oocyte in ICSI program does not affect fertilization and subsequent embryo development to blastocyst stage in vitro.

<P><B>Abstract</B></P> <P>Wearable displays are considered as a bilateral communication tool in the hyperconnected era. Although several electronic clothing display was demonstrated, high power consumption issue still remained. Here, we present wireless powered wearable μLEDs (WμLEDs) with excellent stability. A custom-designed wireless power supply system operated a 30 × 30 WμLED array on a fabric. The WμLED stability was intensively investigated under bending, stretching, 85 °C/85% relative humidity and artificial sunlight conditions, showing the suitability of WμLED outdoor usage. <P>Recent studies have shown anticancer activity of apigenin by suppressing glucose transporter 1 (GLUT1) expression in cultured cancer cells; however, it is not clear whether apigenin can suppress glucose metabolism in lung cancer cells or sensitize them to inhibition of glutamine utilization-mediated apoptosis through metabolic and oxidative stress. We show that apigenin significantly decreases GLUT1 expression in mice. Furthermore, we demonstrate that apigenin induces growth retardation and apoptosis through metabolic and oxidative stress caused by suppression of glucose utilization in lung cancer cells. The underlying mechanisms were defined that the anticancer effects of apigenin were reversed by ectopic GLUT1 overexpression and galactose supplementation, through activation of pentose phosphate pathway-mediated NADPH generation. Importantly, we showed that severe metabolic stress using a glutaminase inhibitor, compound 968, was involved in the mechanism of sensitization by apigenin. Taken together, the combination of apigenin with inhibitors of glutamine metabolism may provide a promising therapeutic strategy for cancer treatment.</P>

Hereditary hemorrhagic telangiectasia, also knawn as Rendu-Osler-Weber disease, is a rare autosomal dominant condition characterized by telangiectases, arteriovenous fistulas, and aneurysms involving the skin and mucosa, as well as blood vessels of the lung, liver, and central nervous system. The most common clinical manifestations are epistaxis and gastrointestinal bleeding. Arteriovenous shunting leads to hepatic congestion, and con- gestive heart failure may occur. We report a casie of Rendu-Osler-Weber disease which revealed typical clinical symptoms and radiologic findings with a review of relevant literatures.

GPS의 프론트-엔드 수신단에서는 잡음 지수가 매우 중요하며 잡음 지수가 낮고 크기가 작은 저잡음 증폭기를 요구한다. 본 논문에서는 0.18 μm CMOS 공정을 이용한 L 대역 저잡음 증폭기의 설계에 관한 내용이다. 저잡음 특성을 위해 입력단 직렬 인덕터를 제거하고 트랜지스터의 유효폭(effective width)을 늘려 임피던스 정합을 이루어 냈으며 작은 칩 크기를 위해 높은 인덕턴스를 요구하는 인덕터들을 적층 구조로 제작하였다. 제작된 저잡음 증폭기는 1.4 GHz부터 2.1 GHz에 이르는 대역에서 2.5 dB 이하의 잡음 지수, 10.57 dB 이상의 반사손실, 17.3 dB의 최고 이득, 1.05 mm×0.78 mm의 크기를 달성하였다. In the front-end receiver of a GPS, the noise figure is extremely important and requires a low-noise amplifier with a low noise figure and small size. This study aims to investigate the design of an L-band low-noise amplifier using the 0.18-μm CMOS process. For low-noise characteristics, the input series inductor was removed, the effective width of the transistor was increased to achieve impedance matching, and the inductors requiring high inductance had laminated structures with small chip sizes. The low-noise amplifier achieved a noise figure of less than 2.5 dB, a return loss of more than 10.57 dB, a peak gain of 17.3 dB, and a size of 1.05 mm×0.78 mm in frequency from 1.4∼2.1 GHz.
