The purpose of this study lies in grasping of the whole character of Korean poetry in the modernization period. As a method of research, this study divides the modernization period into two terms. Then it examines how the poetic patterns of each term originated and died away. Furthermore, this study closely examines the individual characteristics which the poetic patterns of each poetry had and focuses on comprehending the generl character of the literature in midernization period by integrading those characteristics. As a result, we come to a conclusion that literature in the modernization period has played a decisive role in laying the foundation for the full-scale modern literature in the swirl of tension between maintenance(tradition) and change(alien culture). As a preliminary to solving the task of this study, this study has surveyed the historical background of the modernization period centering on each class in charge of literature and traced how each class chose a certain pattern of poetry according to their characteristics. As a result, we came to the conclusion that the social and cultural background which are the historical requisite to the formation of the literature of the modernization period was instrumental to understanding the basic characters and forms of the literature in the midernization period.

For the purpose of investigating the positive rate of rubella antibody and sero-conversion rate after rubella vaccination, 863 high school students of the two regions were studied from April 21st, 1996 to September 20th, 1996. The main results were as follows; 1. Positive rate of IgG in male was higher than in female, and the rate of IgM was also higher in male than in female. 2. Positive rate of IgG by blood type was similar, but positive rate of IgM was higher in AB type than the others. 3. Positive rate of IgG by vaccination was similar to all groups, but positive rate of IgM was higher in which was not vaccinated group. 4. Positive rate of IgG and IgM, having vaccination card, was less than which was not having vaccination card. 5. Those who were vaccinated acquired IgG(+) regardless of an existence of IgG antibody, and 28.3% of IgG(-), IgM(+) male who was not vaccinated became IgM(+), IgG(+) after 3months later. As a result positive rate of male was higher than female. The author conclude that vaccination is necessary to prevent from rubella for them.
Nonvolatile Memory Characteristics of Double-Stacked Si Nanocluster Floating Gate Transistor

We have studied nonvolatile memory properties of MOSFETs with double-stacked Si nanoclusters in the oxide-gate stacks. We formed Si nanoclusters of a uniform size distribution on a 5 nm-thick tunneling oxide layer, followed by a 10 nm-thick intermediate oxide and a second layer of Si nanoclusters by using LPCVD system. We then investigated the memory characteristics of the MOSFET and observed that the charge retention time of a double-stacked Si nanocluster MOSFET was longer than that of a single-layer device. We also found that the double-stacked Si nanocluster MOSFET is suitable for use as a dual-bit memory.
컴퓨터 시스템 및 이론 : 인터넷 최상위 한자 도메인의 국제 생성 규칙(LGR)을 위한 검토 대상 이체자 묶음 선정 방안 연구

이 논문은 인터넷 최상위 한자 도메인의 국제 생성 규칙(LGR)을 위하여 검토 대상 이체자 묶음 선정 방안을 연구한다. 한자 도메인의 국제 생성 규칙을 정하는데 있어 가장 어려운 점은 한자 이체자를 어떻게 처리할 것인가이다. 만일 이체자가 들어간 도메인들(보기: 東海國, 東海)이 각각 다른 주소로 접속된다면 혼란이 일어나므로 같은 주소로 접속되는 것이 바람직하다. 그런데 한중의 이체자 묶음이 같지 않으므로 한중의 이체자 묶음을 통합할 필요가 있다. 이런 이유로 저자는 중국 이체자 묶음 3093개에 대한 검토 작업을 진행하다가 한국 한자가 전혀 없거나 한 글자만 있는 중국 이체자 묶음은 한국이 검토할 필요가 없음을 발견하였다. 한국은 중국 이체자 묶음 가운데 한국 한자가 2자 이상 있는 것만 검토하면 된다. 이렇게 함으로써 저자는 한국이 검토해야 할 중국 이체자 묶음의 개수를 3093개에서 303개로 줄일 수 있었는데, 이는 원래 중국 이체자 묶음 개수의 1/10 이다. 본 논문에서 제안한 방법에 따라 중국 이체자 묶음 303개에 대한 검토가 마무리되면 중국과의 협의를 통해 인터넷 최상위 한자 도메인의 국제 생성 규칙을 정하는 작업이 가속화될 것이다. This paper discusses a method of selecting variant groups to be reviewed for LGR (Label Generation Rule) of Internet Top-Level Hanja Domain. The most difficult problem in setting up LGR of Internet Top-Level Hanja Domain is how to treat Hanja variants. If domains containing variants (e.g.: 東海國, 東海) are directed to different addresses, confusion will arise. Therefore, it is desirable that such domains are directed to the same address. Since variant groups of Korea and China are not same, we need to unify variant groups of Korea and China. In the process of reviewing 3093 Chinese variant groups, the author found that Korea does not need to review Chinese variant groups which include no or just one Korean Hanja character. Korea only need to review Chinese variant groups which include two or more Korean Hanja characters. By doing so, the author could reduce the number of Chinese variant groups to be reviewed by Korea from 3093 to 303, which is only one-tenth of the original number of Chinese variant groups. After Korea finishes reviewing 303 Chinese variant groups selected according to the method suggested in this paper, the job of setting up LGR of Internet Top-Level Hanja domain will be accelerated by negotiating with China.

Genetic diversity of Korean landrace rice accessions was assessed with microsatellite markers. The 214 alleles weregedfrom 3 for SSS locus to 37 for RM206 locus with an average number of 12.6 alleles per locus. Gene diversity values according tothe 17 microsatellite primer loci varied from 0.045 to 0.934 with an average of 0.676. Among the 14 microsatellite primers, RM48,RM206, RM214, RM232 and RM249 showed comparatively high number of aleles. On the UPGMA cluster analysis based on theGS coefficient matrix, the 175 Korean landrace rice accessions were divided into five major groups and the genetic similarity coef-to0.664 depending on the 17 microsatellite loci. While the Group IV showed the highest average value in gene diversity, hencegroup II showed the lowest average value of gene diversity among the five groups. The assesment of genetic diversity of Koreannative rice accessions by the present microsatellite analysis will be helpful for efficient conservation strategy of rice germplasm.This preliminary work may also provide a protocol for a larger-scale evaluation of molecular diversity of germplasm of Koreanlandrace rice accessions.Clustering, Genetic diversity, Korean rice landrace, microsatellite markers
