      • 기내배양시 GA₃처리에 의한 들깨의 생육 및 개화조절

        This study was conducted to estimate growth of leaf and shoot and flowering as affected by GA3 treatment in vitro. Plant height was longer as the concentration of GA3 was higher up to 2.0mg/l. Stem diameter was thick up to the concentration of GA3 was 0.1mg/l , but become thinner as the concentration of GA3 was higher. Root weight and root length were well developed in GA3 concentration was 0.5∼2.0mg/l. Number of roots was more in GA3 concentration was 0.5 and 1.0mg/l . The first flowering occurred in 40 days after 0.5 mg/l GA3 treatment. As the concentration of GA3 was higher, flowering was delayed. Number of flowering was significantly increased in GA3 concentration was 0.1 and 0.5mg/l. However, it was gradually decreased after 60 days. Percentage of flowering per plant was highest in GA3 concentration was 0.5mg/l , but it was lower as the concentration of GA3 was increased.

        It's not uncommon for the amount of leaves to be reduced significantly due to the early differentiation of flower-bud by short-day condition when growing perilla for harvesting the leaves in the greenhouse during the winter. This study analyzed the effect of day-length on the growth and regulation of flowering, which are closely related with differentiation of flower and amount of leaves. Development of new leaf was inhibited by short-day treatment for more than 5 days. As the period of short-day was longer, the effect on the development of new leaf inhibition was more evident. Number of leaves was reduced in both 40 days and 110 days short-day treatments as period of short-day length was longer. Short-day treatment for less than 3 days did not induce flowering, but short-day treatment for more than 5 days induced flowering. As the period of short-day treatment was shorter, percentage of flowering was lower and days to flowering was longer. That is, when treated for 20 days, flowering began in 20 days. Seed weight was reduced as the length of short-day treatment was longer.

        鳥足文土器의 變遷樣相

        鳥足文土器는 토기 동체면에 새 발 모양의 문양을 타날한 토기를 말한다. 본고의 목적은 한국 중서부이남지역과 일본에서 출토되는 조족문토기에 대한 검토를 통해 조족문토기의 시기적인 변천과 지역적인 특성을 알아보고자한다. 청주 신봉동고분군과 나주 반남·복암리고분군의 유물공반관계를 통해 교차편년을 실시하여 크게 3개의 분기로 설정하고 다시 세분하여 6개의 소기로 구분된다. 중서부지역권은 4세기 중·후엽~5세기 중·후엽으로 한성백제 단계이다. 중서부지역권은 Ⅰ-1기는 한성 백제양식토기가 부장되고, 조족문토기가 출현하는 시기이다. Ⅰ-2기는 석곽묘가 출현하고, 한성 2기양식토기기종(개배, 광구장경호)의 부장이 확대되는 시점에서 조족문토기는 발전된 양식으로 변모한다. Ⅰ-3기는 석실분이 출현하고 토기 기종과 무구류와 마구류가 백제화된 시점으로 조족문토기는 다양한 요소를 보인다. 이후로 이 지역에서는 조족문토기가 소멸된다. 이 시기에는 일본의 須惠器系 개배가 확인되고, 조족문토기의 기종양식이 비슷한 점으로 미루어 보아 이 지역 세력들의 일부가 백제를 피해 일본으로 건너갔을 것으로 추정된다. 남서부지역권은 5세기 후엽~6세기 중엽으로 웅진백제 단계이다. 남서부지역권 Ⅱ-1기는 대형옹관묘 존속, 영산강식석실분의 등장과 장고분의 출현 등으로 보아 마한의 독자성이 인정되고 조족문토기는 주로 고분의 주구에서 출토되며 단경호 및 조리와 관련된 기종이 확인된다. Ⅱ-2기는 백제계 유물의 부장이 확대되고 관식이 확인되는 시점으로 조족문토기는 장제의례행위와 관련된 기종이 확인된다. 이 시기에 일본의 조족문토기는 주로 5세기 대에 생활유구에서 조리용 토기들이 확인되며, 5세기 후엽에서 6세기 중엽에는 주로 고분에서 단경호가 출토된다. 이런 양상으로 미루어 4세기 말~5세기 전엽 부터는 마한의 사람들이 일본으로 이주했을 가능성이 높은 것으로 보인다. 6세기 중엽 이후는 조족문토기가 소멸되는 단계이다. Chochohmun pottery is the pottery with bird's footprint shape on the surface which was imprinted by paddling technique. The purpose of this paper is to trace temporal change as well as spatial variations of the characteristics in Chochohmun pottery, whilch has been discovered in southern midwest Korea and Japan. Tumuli in Shinbong-dong, Chungju and in Bannam and Bokam-ri, Naju, can be divided into three major periods and into six minor stages through relative cross-dating. Midwest area belongs to the Hangsung Baekje style pottery appeared at the Ⅰ-1 stage and earliest Chochohmun pottery was included in it. At the Ⅰ-2 stage, the outer stone coffin appeared, and the burial of the Hangsung stage 2-style pottery characterized by lid and bowl set and large-mouth and short-nect jar expanded. In this period Chochohmun pottery was changed into the developing style. At the Ⅰ-3 stage, as stone chamber tomb appeared and the pottery, the weapons and the harness were changed into Baekje style, various types of Chochohmun pottery showed up. After this time, Chochohmun pottery disappeared in this area. However, at this time, the lid and bowl of Japanese pottery tradition was found and the style of Chochohmun pottery became as same as that of Japan. Therefore it can be presumed that some powerful group of people carrying Chochohmun pottery moved from Baekje to Japan. Southwest area belongs to the Ungjin Baekje period in between late fifth and mid sixth centuries. At the Ⅱ-1 stage in southwest area, Mahan's originality showed up in the construction of large jar coffin tomb, and the appearance of Young-san river style stone chamber tomb, and the emergence of Jang-go tomb. At this period, Chochohmun pottery were found in the circular moat of the tombs, and short-neck jar and culinary potteries were found. At the Ⅱ-2 stage, the burial of Baekje style relics expanded and coffin ornaments appeared. In this stage Chochohmun pottery, which was related to funeral ceremony, was found. During this period in Japan, Chochohmun pottery was found in culinary potteries in residential remains of fifth century, and short-nect jar of late-fifth and mid-sixth centuries were found in ancient tombs. These indicate the movement of Mahan people into Japan from early fifth century. After mid sixth century belongs to the disappearing stage of Chochohmun pottery.

        Ehlers - Danlos 증후군

        A Case of Ehlers-Danlos syndrome Yoing Jin Joo, M.D., Sung Moon Choi, M.D., Young Ja Choi*, M.D., Ho Suk Sung, M.D. Department of Dermatology, Clooego of Medicine, Inje University, Pusan, Korea We presented a case of Ehlers-Danlos syndrome in a 25-year old female, who had hyperextensibility of skin, skin fragility, cigarette paper-like atrophic scar, joint hyperextensibility and skeletal abnormality of scoliosis since birth. There was no family history. Microscopic and electron microscopic examinations of the skin biopsy specimens from normal appearing skin on the forearm and the site of subcutaneous nodule was compatible with finding of Ehlers-Danlos syndrome. Although the manifestations of this case including marked extensibility of skin, joint, skin fraility and atrophic scar might be in accord with type Ⅰ(gravis) Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, skeletal abnormality of scoliosis did not correspond to this type, but to type Ⅳ(hydroxylysine deficient) Ehlers-Danlos syndrome. We consider this case as a type Ⅳ Ehlers-Danlos syndrome.

        백서 척수후근절로부터 슈반세포의 효과적인 체외 배양법

        Schwann cells(SCs), an important component of the peripheral nervous system, intract with nerous to mutually support growth and replication for the peripheral nerve regentation. Recently, ading SCs to the lumen of guidance channel is widely tried to improve regeneration or to make regeneration possible over otherwise irreparable gaps. however, it is not easy to isolate and multiplicate SCs as much as enough to help the axonal regeneration. For the allogeneic SCs source for tubular nerve guidance, we developed a little bit improved technique of harvesting and multiplicating SCs. by culturing dispersed dorsal root ganglia in specially designed medium with growth factors and serial processing, we repeatedlly generate relatively homogenous SC cultures. Our technique was compared with other methods of literature using immunostaining methods such as GFAP, S100, BDNF and the total SC count assessment at different time interval after primary culture.

      • Twelfth Night: 해학과 풍자(humor and satire)

        It has been pointed out that most of Ben Jonson's comedies retain "realistic" and "satiric" aspects whereas Shakespeare's comedies are "romantic" and "humorous" in plot and atmosphere. However, a closer examination shows thatm although tone and mood are different from those of Jonson, Shakespeare also deals with as much realistic and sariric scenes as Ben Ionson does. In this scenes on society, religion, and sexual desire. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to examine these satiric aspects and to appreciate the dramatic interest. First of all, Malvolio scenes seem to contain much of socio-religious satiric mood in that in appearance Malvolio looks a Puritian-like figure and retains a strict steward-image, but in reality heis a foolish figure who shows his incongruous desire to be a Malvolio Count by marrying Olivia. After all, he turns out to be a self-respected comic figure who foolishly tries to obtain high social status. Shakespeare seems to satirize here his contemporary religious or Puritan-like people who a pious in appearance but gluttonous in reality. Second, not to mention Titania-Bottom scene in A Midsummer Night's Dream, here in this comedy Shakespeare cleary satirizes th deeper layers of human beings, especially instinctual or sexual desires which are easily aroused by the disguised appearance. The lovers such as Olivia and Orsino are easily deceived by the trickster figure Viola-an illusion-who is a man only in appearance but a woman in reality. The lovers here seem to be satirized as fools who fantastically follow illusions of love and do not catch their real sexual partners. In conclusion, however, compared with those of Ben Jonson, Shakespeare's satiric scenes are a kind of mixture of humor and satire in that the characters' foolish actions or follies are comically satirized but they are never exposed to severe penalties. In these respects, Shakespeare's satire is warmer and more humorous than Jonson's.

      • 온천천 둔치의 공간별 이용형태에 관한 연구

        The purpose of this study is to examine and analyze behaviors of using peripheral areas of urban river, seeking towards an effective arrangement of such areas. For the purpose, this researcher surveyed the terrace land on the Oncheoncheon, expecially the section between Sebyeong and Yeonsan Brigdes, whose ratio of using by people was increased after arranged. Then the researcher investigated users of the terrace land by using tables under Observation Research Method and Behavior Mapping in accordance with their gender, age and behavioral type. Results of the study can be summarized as follows. First, there were differences in the behavior of using the terrace land among users in accordance with the type of facility located within th space. Second, there were differences among users in the ratio of using th terrace land at each time in weekdays and weekend, irrespective of those users' gender. Third, an area where there are sport facilities were being used more frequently than any other areas. Finally, the researcher hopes that results of the study will provide basic information for any other arrangement of area around river.

      • 一部 鍍金作業者의 淋巴球 姉妹染色分體交換 出現에 關한 硏究

        Since the sister chromatid exchange(SCE) technique was developed by Taylor in 1958, it has been modified and utilized in the fields of mutagenicity, teratogenicity and carcinogenicity evaluation not only for academic purpose but also occupational medicine. In Korea, however, very rare approaches to mutagenicity of toxic agents were performed. And no research on SCE in human lymphocytes was reported in relation to occupational working environment up to date in Korea. Therefore this study was designed to know the possibility of utilizing the SCE as an index which could evaluate the effect of toxic chemicals on the health of industrial workers. A total of 32 metal plating workers using chromium which was proved having mutagenicity and carcinogenicity were selected as an experimental group for this studies. The SCE in peripheral lymphocytes of the workers was studied including the amount of chromium excretion in urine, the smoking amount and working years. The results were as follows; 1. The average number of SCE per lymphocyte was significantly higher in plating workers than nonexposure group showing the rate of 1.6 (5.7 v/s 3.6). 2. The difference in SCE status by smoking habit was not statistically significant both in exposure and unexposure groups. There was no difference in SCE status by career of exposed workers. 3. The higher the concentration of chromium in working environment, the higher the number of SCE per lymphocyte in exposed workers was showed, which revealed a clear dose-response relationship. 4. The correlation between number of SCE per cell and amount of chromium in urine was statistically significant with the coefficient of 0.661 showing Y= 0.23X + 3.0 (P<0.01), in which Y indicates number of SCE per cell and X indicates chromium concentration in urine by ㎍/1.
