Micro drilling is one of the most important machining types and its importance becomes more and more increased in the whole field of industry. Micro drilling, however, has few the case of practical application, because it requests high techniques; manufacturing micro drill, treating, chip, producing precise hole shape and progressing machining efficiency. Micro drilling has a technical problem; drill breakage from drill breakage from the lack of drill stiffness and the interruption of chip. It is, therefore, essential to select of proper cutting conditions and of step fed for the method solving the lack of stiffness and the interruption of chip. Especially, study on step feed is requested more than the present. The purpose of this paper is to investigate experimentally about cutting conditions which affect on tool life and round errors and to estimate about the efficiency of step feed.

Neonatal lupus is a rare syndrome occurring In neonates with tranplacentally acquired maternal autoantibodies, In particular anti-SSA/Ro-SSB/Ra antibodies. Manifestations include congenital heart block, cutaneous lesions, thrombocytopenia, neutropenia, pulmonary or neurological disease and hepatitis. The non-cardiac manifestations resolve by 6 months of age, congenital heart block is irreversible. We experienced a case of neonatal lupus with congenital complete heart block in a newborn of asyptomatic mother with anti-SSA/Ro-SSB/Ra antibodies.

Object : This study was designed to examine the association between monocyte chemoattractant protein-l (MCPl) -2518poly morphism and major depressive disorder (MDD). Methods : Ninety patients with MDD and 114 healthy controls participated in this study. Genotyping was performed by the polymerase chain reaction-restriction fragment length polymorphism method. Results : Genotype and allele distributions in patients with MDD were significantly different from those of the controls, In particular, subjects with the allele A were found to have an increased risk of MDD. Conclusion : The present study suggests that the MCPl -2518 polymorphism may have a potential role for susceptibility to MDD in the Korean population and thus calls for consecutive studies in order to pile up the data with larger different ethnic background.

Photochemical reactions of saccharin with tertiary amines were explored. Saccharin was found to undergo an acid-base reaction with N-trimethylsilylmethyl-N, N-diethyl amine to form N-trimethylsilylmethyl-N, N-diethyl ammonium saccharin salt which is in equilibrium wit free saccharin and N-trimethylsilymethyl-N, N-diethyl amine in solution. Photoreaction of N-trimethylsilymethy-N, N-diethyl ammonium sacchrin in CH₃OH or CH₃CN result in the generation of desilylmethylated product N, N-diethyl ammonium sacchrin mainly along with benzamide. Photoreaction of N-methylsaccharin with N-trimethylsilymethyl-N, N-diethyl amine in CH₃OH leads to the production of o-(N-methykcarbamoyl)-N-ethylbenzenesulfonamide as the major product along with N-methylbenzamide as the minor product. On the other hand, photoreaction of N, N, N-triethyl ammonium saccharin, generated from saccharin and triethylamine, produces N-methylbenzamide as the exclusive product. These photoreactions are quenched by oxygen indicating redox potentials of saccharin and N-trimethylsilymethyl-N, N-diethyl amine, and the nature of photoproducts, pathways involving initial triplet state single electron transfer are proposed for photoreactions of the saccharins with the α-silyamine.
Min-Max Hash 를 활용한 다중 집합 기반의 유사도 측정

데이터 마이닝에서 클러스터링은 서로 유사한 특징을 갖는 데이터들을 동일한 클래스로 분류하는 방법이다. 클러스터링에는 다양한 방법이 존재하지만 대표적으로 집합으로 표현된 데이터들의 유사도를 측정하기 위해서는 자카드 유사도(Jaccard Similarity)를 이용한다. 자카드 유사도는 서로 다른 집합 간의 공통된 부분을 상대적으로 평가하여 유사도를 측정하는 방법이다. 그러나 최근에는 데이터를 저장할 수 있는 기술과 매체의 발전으로 표현할 수 있는 데이터의 영역과 범위는 발전되고 있기 때문에 많은 연산과 시간의 비용이 발생하게 된다. 이를 해결하기 위해서 두 데이터의 표본의 유사도를 통해 실제 데이터들의 유사도를 추정할 수 있는 Min-Hash 가 제안되었다. 본 논문에서는 이를 활용하여 집합의 영역을 다중 집합(Multiset)으로 확장하여 중복되는 값을 가질 수 있는 두 데이터 간의 유사도를 효율적으로 추정할 수 있는 Min-Max Hash 를 제안한다.
Preferential growth of boron layer in magnesium diboride (MgB<sub>2</sub>) by Mg diffusion method

<P><B>Abstract</B></P> <P>Growth mechanism and grain boundary (GB) contact of polycrystalline MgB<SUB>2</SUB> fabricated by Mg diffusion method are studied by STEM and EELS analyses. In contrast to the previous reports based on the computational calculation, preferential growth of (001) boron (B) layer and the B-B contact at MgB<SUB>2</SUB> GBs are confirmed by annular dark field (ADF) –STEM image and the combined EELS analyses. The effect of B-B contact at the GB on the superconductivity is further evaluated using First principles calculation. Superior GB linkage of the supercurrent flow via GB B-B contact is expected from the calculated density of states at Fermi level. B-terminated growth mechanism in Mg diffusion method and the effect of GB connectivity via B-B and Mg-Mg contacts are discussed. Finally, we suggest a model of GB linkage of supercurrent flow via B-B contact in polycrystalline MgB<SUB>2</SUB>.</P> <P><B>Highlights</B></P> <P> <UL> <LI> Preferential growth of boron in polycrystalline MgB<SUB>2</SUB> has been firstly confirmed. </LI> <LI> The B-terminated growth mechanism of an MgB<SUB>2</SUB> has been suggested. </LI> <LI> The GB linkage via B-B contact in polycrystalline MgB<SUB>2</SUB> has been elucidated. </LI> </UL> </P>

<P>Highly ordered mesoporous CdxZn1-xS materials were obtained via a simple nanoreplication method using a mesoporous silica template with a 3-D bicontinuous cubic Ia3d mesostructure. Combined analyses using X-ray diffraction, N-2 sorption, electron microscopy, and diffuse reflectance UV-visible spectroscopy revealed that the ordered mesoporous ternary compound semiconductor materials exhibited well developed crystalline frameworks, high surface areas of 80120 m(2)g(-1), uniform mesopore sizes of about 20 nm, ordered arrangement of mesopores, and outstanding visible light absorption properties. Photocatalytic activities were investigated by degradation of methylene blue and rhodamine B under visible light over the mesoporous CdxZn1-xS materials. Due to the high surface area and outstanding light absorption properties, the ordered mesoporous CdxZn1-xS exhibited excellent photocatalytic performances for the degradation of methylene bluetand rhodamine B. This study indicates a potential application of the mesoporous compound semiconductors in the efficient visible light-driven photolysis of organics that may cause environmental pollution.</P>
