        급성 췌장염을 동반한 중증의 렙토스피라증 1예

        렙토스피라증은 전세계적으로 분포하는 인수공통질환으로 Leptospira로 알려진 스피로헤타가 원인균이며 늦여름이나 초가을에 발생하는 급성 열성질환으로, 간이나 신장을 침범하는 중증형을 Weil's disease라고 하는데, 국내에서는 이 임상형태가 흔한 편이다. 급성 신부전이 동반될 경우 혈청 아밀라아제의 증가가 있을 수 있으나, 급성췌장염은 드문 합병증으로 되어 있고 외국에서는 7예의 급성췌장염이 동반된 사례의 보고가 있었으나 국내에서는 아직까지 보고된 예가 없었다. 이에 저자들은 Weil's disease를 진단받은 55세 남자환자에서 혈청 아밀라아제 및 리파아제가 급격히 증가하고 복부전산화 단층촬영상 췌장부종 및 췌장주위 지방조직의 침윤으로 급성 췌장염이 확인된 1예를 경험하였기에 문헌고찰과 함께 보고하는 바이다. Leptospirosis is a zoonotic disease of worldwide distribution that is caused by spirochetes known as Leptospira; more than 20 serogroups and more than 200 serovars are known. The disease has seasonal incidence occurring in the late summer or early fall. The typical severe case of leptospirosis is known as Weil's disease; it is characterized by hepatic and renal involvement and is common in Korea. Elevated amylase can be seen when ARF is associated but true acute pancreatitis is an uncomon complication of leptospirosis and only seven cases of well documented pancreatitis have been described abroad, with there was no case report in Korea yet. We experienced a 55-year old male patient who had Weil's disease associated with acute pancreatitis which was confirmed by elevated amylase and lipase with pancreatic swelling and peripancreatic fat infiltration on abdomen CT.

        근골격계 질환 예방을 위하여 새로이 제시된 세탁기 디자인에 대한 생체역학적 평가

        Recently, many studies have reported the fact that an excessively accumulated psychological and physical burden induced from physical labor conducted routinely in home and industry can be one of main reasons of musculoskeletal disorders in the working population. This fact makes increase interests in studies to reduce a risk of musculoskeletal disorders through grafting ergonomic considerations on working environment. However, there are currently limited methodologies in quantitative evaluations of new ergonomic suggestions to reduce a risk of musculoskeletal disorders. The current study is therefore performed to evaluate quantitatively effects of a design of washing machine as a new ergonomic suggestion onto prevention of musculoskeletal disorders, through application of a biomechanical evaluation methodology, For this, three-dimensional motion analysis by using musculoskeletal models with Rapid Entire Body Assessment (REBA), which has been generally used for a simple evaluation of a degree of harmfulness of the human body at specific working postures to be considered, was performed, The results of REBA did not give us enough information and their results were somewhat simple and inaccurate, but the results of the three-dimensional motion analysis give us enough information such as alteration of main muscle forces and joint moments required during washing work. All results showed that the main muscle strengths and joint moments were decreased effectively for reduction of a risk of musculoskeletal disorders during the washing work with newly designed washing machine evaluated in the current study, compared with those generated during the washing work with general washing machine. From these results, it can be concluded that a risk of the musculoskeletal disorders, which may be induced by a repetitive washing work, may be reduced through using the washing machine designed ergonomically and newly. Also, it is thought that if our ergonomic design can be applied for improvement of working environment in lifting and laying works conducted repeatedly for a treatment work of goods, which have a strong resemblance to the behaviors generated frequently during the washing work, a possibility of occurrence of the musculoskeletal disorders by the lifting and laying works may be reduced highly.

        Analyses of Single Nucleotide Polymorphisms and Haplotype Linkage of the Human ABCB1 (MDR1) Gene in Korean

        Single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) in the MDR1 gene that are responsible for drug efflux can cause toxicity. Therefore, this study determined the SNPs of the Korean MDR1 gene, and analyzed the haplotypes and a linkage disequilibrium (LD) of the SNPs determined. The frequency of 9 SNPs from the MDR1 gene was determined by PCR-RFLP analyses of 100 to 500 healthy individuals. The frequcies of the SNPs were C3435T (47.7%), G2677T (37.6%), G2677A (4.4%), T1236C (21.7%), T129C (8%), A2956G (2.5%), T307C (1.5%), A41aG (9.2%), C145G (0%), and G4030C (0 %). Analyses of the haplotype structure and an estimation of the LD of the combined polymorphisms demonstrated that the frequency of the 1236T- 2677G-3435T haplotype is much higher in Koreans (14.1%) than in Chinese and western black Africans and the C3435T SNP in Koreans appears to have LD with T129C in Koreans for the first time. These results provide insight into the genetic variation of MDR1 in Koreans, and demonstrated the possibility of a new LD in this gene.

        In this study, 127 excellent college players of our country (16 boxers, 20 judoists, 23 Taekwondo players, 23 weight lifters, 31 wrestlers, 14 rowers) were put to the analytic test of five basic bodily powers directly relevant to the playing ability. The following are the results. 1. Muscular Strength In terms of the sporting event, players of rowing and judo were the best and those of taekwondo the worst; individually, the best two were a judoist and a wrestler, and the worst one a judoist. 2. Muscular Endurance Players of rowing were the best, and those of weight lifting the worst; individually, the best one was a rower, and the worst one a weight lifter. 3. Power Players of weight lifting were the best, and those of boxing the worst; individually, the best one was a wrestler, and the worst a boxer. 4. Agility Players were almost equal to each other regardless of sporting events; individually, the best one was a taekwondo player, and the worst one a weight lifter. 5. Flexibility In case of trunk flexion, players of rowing were the best, and those of weight lifting the worst; individually, the best one was a judoist, and the worst a weight lifter. And in case of trunk extension, players of Taekwondo were the best, and those of rowing the worst; individually, the best one was a wrestler, and the worst one a weight lifter.

      • 養液濃度와 培地種類가 Black Olympia 포도나무의 生育과 果實品質에 미치는 影響

        본 硏究는 養液栽培時 養液濃度와 培地種類가 대립계 포도품종인 Black Olympia의 生育과 果實品質에 미치는 영향을 구명하고자 하였다. 新梢長은 0.5배에서 1.5배의 양액농도에서 농도가 높을수록 길었고, 배지종류별로는 0.5배 농도에서는 밭흙과 퇴비를 1:1로 혼합한 배지에서 신초장이 길었으나 1.5배 농도에서는 오히려 짧게 나타났다. 節間長은 저농도의 양액농도에서는 밭흙과 퇴비를 혼합한 배지가 길었으나 1.5배의 고농도에서는 차이를 보이지 않았다. 각 배지에서 濃度가 높을수록 간경이 크게 나타났으며 배지종류간에는 펄라이트와 버미큘라이트 혼합배지가 밭흙과 퇴비를 혼합한 배지보다 컸으나 유의차가 없었다. 果房重은 각 배지에서 1.0배의 양액농도가 가장 무거웠으며 배지 종류간에는 밭흙과 퇴비를 혼합한 배지가 더 무거웠다. 糖度는 각 배지의 1.0배 양액농도가 높았으며 배지종류간에는 차이를 보이지 않았다. 果皮의 안토시아닌 함량은 배지별로 밭흙과 퇴비를 혼합한 배지에서 높았으며 양액농도별로는 1.0배에서 높게 나타났다. 收量은 펄라이트와 버미큘라이트를 혼합한 배지에서 양액농도가 높을수록 많았으나 밭흙과 퇴비 혼합배지에서는 1.0배의 농도에서 높게 나타났다. This study was carried out to investigate the effects of ionic strength and substrates on growth and fruit quality, and to establish fruit tree nutrient solution culture. The higher ionic strength showed the longer shoot length of grape. Among the substrates, upland soil+compost showed longer shoot length than perlite+vermiculite in 0.5 strength but shorter in 1.5 strength of Hoagland solution. Internode length was longer in upland soil+compost than in perlite+vermiculite in 0.5 strength, but there were no significance in 1.0 and 1.5 strength of Hoagland solution. Higher ionic strength and/or perlite+vermiculite of substrates showed tricker in trunk diameter than lower ionic strength and/or upland soil+compost. Cluster weight was heavier in 1.0 ionic strength than the others. Cluster weight in upland soil+compost was heavier than that of perlite+vermiculite. Soluble solids content of berry was the highest as much as 17.3。 Bx on 1.0 ionic strength of three strength, but there are no significances in substrates. Anthocyanin content of grape skin was higher in upland soil+compost than perlite+vermiculite, as well as the highest in 1.0 strength among three strengths. The higher ionic strength showed the more berry set. Each substrate showed uniformal berry set and growth. The best result in berry yields was obtained in 1.0 ionic strength with substrate of upland soil+compost in comparison to other treatments.
