        코로나19 이후 대학영어 수업에 대한 고찰: 대면ㆍ비대면 수준별 수업에서의 협동학습에 관한 학습자의 인식 비교

        This study aims to compare learners' perceptions of online non-face-to-face versus face-to-face classes and examine how learners perceive cooperative learning used to improve communication skills. To this end, a survey was conducted on students who had taken level-differentiated college English classes in the first-semester non-face-to-face and the second-semester face-to-face in 2022. We found the following results. First, learners expressed a slightly lower level of satisfaction with face-to-face classes than with non-face-to-face classes. Second, high-level students in both non-face-to-face and face-to-face classes reported significantly higher satisfaction levels with the professors’ teaching ability and communication and interaction with students. Finally, in both non-face-to-face and face-to-face classes, it was found that students recognized cooperative learning through communication with the professors and interaction between learners as meaningful. In the post-COVID-19 era, a blended teaching method that combines the advantages of face-to-face and non-face-to-face education with cooperative learning will be a good way to improve learners’ communication skills and motivate them to learn.         플립러닝(Flipped learning)과 직소(Jigsaw) 협동학습 융합을 통한 대학영어 독해수업의 운영효과

        The purpose of this study is to explore effects of Flipped-Jigsaw collaborative model in college English reading class and investigate the learner perceptions and satisfaction of the model. To achieve this goal, surveys were conducted in the fall semester of 2019, targeting freshman students. A total of 355 college students participated in the pre-questionnaire on the first week of the semester and 315 participants responded after the implementation of the Flipped-Jigsaw collaborative model. In parallel with the online survey, interviews were carried out with 12 students for an in-depth analysis. The results show that students were quite satisfied with the flipped-Jigsaw collaborative model of English reading class in its implementation and effects. Interview results also verified the high satisfaction of the students. Applying Flipped-Jigsaw collaborative model to English reading class will improve the satisfaction of students in their learning and thus, enhance the effectiveness of the education. Extended follow-up studies on this educational model are required based on this research.

        태아 사망을 보인 포진상 농가진

        Impetigo herpetiformis is a form of pustular psoriasis that occurs during pregnancy and may be life-threatening. The pathogenesis and etiology of impetigo herpetiformis is not clear, but several reports have associated onset of this disorder with hypocalcemia, hypoparathyroidism, and the use of oral contraceptives. The typical lesions are erythematous patches that are studded with tiny superficial pustules particularly coalescing at their margins causing pain, and a burning sensation. Laboratory findings include an elevated erythrocyte sedimentation rate, increased peripheral blood leukocyte counts, hypoalbuminemia, and in severe cases, hypocalcemia. The histopathology is the same as that of pustula psoriasis. Our patient, a 31 year-old female (Intra Uterine Pregnancy 28 weeks), was admitted to our hospital due to generalized skin eruption and severe constitutional symptoms. Her clinical features, laboratory and histopathologic findings were compatible with that of impetigo herpetiformis. In spite of our all efforts, intrauterine fetal death was noted at her 33rd week of pregnancy. We report a case of impetigo herpetiformis terminating in fetal death with the review of literature. {Kor J Dermatol 1997;35(1): 150-154}

        비대면 수준별 대학영어수업의 학업 성취도 변화 및 학습자 만족도 연구

        This study aims to investigate changes in students’ academic achievement through non-face-to-face level-differentiated college English education and their satisfaction with it. For these purposes, the researchers compared and analyzed two mock TOEIC tests given at the beginning of the 1st semester and the end of 2nd semester. We found that the academic achievement of the students at each level did not improve significantly. Surveys were conducted to check the satisfaction of the students with the non-face-to-face level-differentiated education. The results showed that the students in level 3 did not have much satisfaction with the non-face-to-face level-differentiated classes compared to the students in level 4 or 5. This shows that non-face-to-face classes do not give satisfaction to low-level students who have difficulty in self-directed learning. The expansion of non-face-to-face education is expected even in the post-COVID era. Therefore, professors' guidance and management will be required to improve students' self-directed learning ability. (Catholic Kwandong University)

        사람 그림검사(Draw-A-Person) 해석체계 구축 및 타당성 제고

        목적 본 연구는 사람 그림검사의 해석 체계를 구축하여 채점표로 만들고 그 타당성을 검증하였다. 방법 본 연구는 문헌고찰과 선행연구를 바탕으로 사람그림검사에서 표현되는 기본 표상들과 특이반응 표상들을 선별하여 전문가들의 평정과정을 통하여 정서적인 부분과 성격적인 부분을 나타내는 9개 대표 표상(공격성, 불안, 우울, 대인회피, 자존감위축, 정서불안, 애정결핍, 열등감, 퇴행)의 53개 문항으로 사람그림검사 해석체계 채점표를 만들었다. 타당화 검증을 위하여 본 연구의 참여자는 서울시에 소재한 초등학교에 재학 중인 4, 5, 6학년 343명(남: 173명, 여: 170명)이었다. 결과 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 자기 보고식 질문지 검사의 결과는 정규성을 따르는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 자기 보고식 질문지 검사와 사람 그림검사의 채점 결과를 분석한 결과 유의한 상관이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 공격성은 사람 그림검사의 공격성과 불안, 우울의 표상과 유의한 상관을 보였으며, 대인관계는 불안, 우울의 표상과 유의한 상관을 보였으며, 사회불안은 공격성, 불안, 우울, 대인회피, 자존감위축, 정서불안, 열등감, 퇴행과 유의한 상관을 보인 것으로 나타났다. 또한 자아존중감은 사람그림검사의 불안, 우울, 대인회피, 자존감위축, 정서불안, 애정결핍, 열등감, 퇴행을 나타내는 표상과 유의한 부적 상관을 보인 것으로 나타났으며, 우울은 사람그림검사의 불안, 우울, 대인회피, 자존감위축, 정서불안, 애정결핍, 열등감을 나타내는 표상과 유의한 상관을 보였다. 사회불안과 자아존중감, 우울의 요인을 사람그림검사의 해석체계 채점표를 통하여 더 분명하게 진단할 수 있는 요인으로 나타난 것을 볼 수 있다. 결론 사람그림검사에 대한 다양한 연구 결과에도 불구하고, 구체적으로 채점화하여 일반화하는 과정이 없었는데, 본 연구에서 그 과정의 타당성을 검증함으로 사람그림검사를 통하여 피험자들의 공격성과 대인관계, 사회불안, 자아존중감, 우울의 정도를 진단할 수 있으며, 전문가적 입장이 아니더라도 채점표를 근거로 진단해 낼 수 있는 해석체계를 만들었다는 것에 대해서 매우 높은 의의가 있다. 단지 초등학교 고학년을 대상으로 진행된 연구로서의 제한이 있다. Objectives The present study established an interpretation system for the Human Figure Drawing test, developed a scoring guide, and validated its effectiveness. Methods This study selected basic and unique representations expressed in the Human Figure Drawing test based on literature review and previous research. Through expert evaluation, a scoring guide for the interpretation system of the Human Figure Drawing test was developed, consisting of 53 items representing 9 key indicators of emotional and personality aspects (aggression, anxiety, depression, interpersonal avoidance, diminished self-esteem, emotional instability, affection deficiency, inferiority, regression). To validate this system, the study included 343 participants (173 boys and 170 girls) from 4th, 5th, and 6th grades in elementary schools located in Seoul. Results The results of the study are as follows. First, the results of the self-report questionnaire test followed a normal distribution. Second, the analysis of the scoring results from the self-report questionnaire test and the Human Figure Drawing test showed significant correlations. Aggression was significantly correlated with the representations of aggression, anxiety, and depression in the Human Figure Drawing test. Interpersonal relationships were significantly correlated with the representations of anxiety and depression. Social anxiety was significantly correlated with the representations of aggression, anxiety, depression, interpersonal avoidance, diminished self-esteem, emotional instability, inferiority, and regression. Additionally, self-esteem showed a significant negative correlation with the representations of anxiety, depression, interpersonal avoidance, diminished self-esteem, emotional instability, affection deficiency, inferiority, and regression in the Human Figure Drawing test. Depression was significantly correlated with the representations of anxiety, depression, interpersonal avoidance, diminished self-esteem, emotional instability, affection deficiency, and inferiority. It was observed that social anxiety, self-esteem, and depression could be more clearly diagnosed through the scoring guide of the interpretation system of the Human Figure Drawing test. Conclusions Despite various research results on the Human Figure Drawing test, there has been no process to concretely score and generalize its findings. This study validated that process, demonstrating that the Human Figure Drawing test can diagnose levels of aggression, interpersonal relationships, social anxiety, self-esteem, and depression in participants. It is highly significant that an interpretation system was created that allows for diagnosis based on the scoring guide, even without expert input. However, it should be noted that this study was limited to upper elementary school students.

        대학영어 단계별 교육과정에 대한 학습자 인식 및 만족도 연구: C대학 사례를 중심으로

        This study aims to examine the learner perceptions and satisfactions of the level-differentiated college English classes and suggests more effective education program based on the survey results. The level-differentiated English program was designed to correspond to students’ needs and abilities and carried out as a pilot study. The classes were offered for four terms(20hours/ term), and each term had a six-tiered course. An online questionnaire was administered to 205 students. The results show that almost all the students were quite satisfied with the adequacy of the placement test. However, there was not statistically meaningful differences in students’ satisfaction with the level test. Students in lower levels such as level 1 and 2 were highly satisfied with the class operation and course in general, and seemed to get more benefits from the level-differentiated classes than intermediate and high level students. This result implies the level-differentiated curriculum is more necessary and effective for lower level students.

      • 제7차 교육과정에 의한 고등학교 영어 교과서 듣기 활동 분석

        The purpose of this study is to anlayze listening activities in high school English textbooks and to ascertain whether the results are applicable to the 7th national curriculum aims. Based on the analysis criteria presented by Morley(1991), Richards(1983), and Ur(1984), two different analysis cirteria were applied for an in-depth analysis of the listening activities involved in the textbooks. The results of the analysis show that the philosophy of the 7th national curriculum is properly reflected in some parts of the textbooks. On the other hand, some listening activitis in textbooks are emphasized insufficiently and improperly. Through the results of the study, it is presented that the textbook should be designed and improved for the development of students' listening abilities and their communicative competence with the contents of more various and balanced listening activities.
