Background: The recent COVID-19 pandemic is one of the worst disease outbreaks of the 21th century. Due to a lack of reliable antiviral therapeutics, wearing face masks is recommended to prevent airborne infection originating from virus-contaminated bioaerosols. Objectives: The aim of this study was to evaluate the filtration efficiencies of face masks that are commercially available in South Korea for a biological aerosol of Staphylococcus aureus (S. aureus) and murine coronavirus, a well-known surrogate for human coronaviruses. Methods: We collected six different kinds of commercial masks: two Korea Filter (KF)94 (KF94-1, KF94-2) masks, one surgical (Surgical-1) mask, one anti-droplet (KF-AD-1) mask, and two dust (Dust-1, Dust-2) face masks. S. aureus (ATCC 6538), a well-performing test bacteria and murine coronavirus (ATCC VR-764) were prepared under a suitable culture condition. Then, a mask biological filtration tester was used to examine the microbial filtration efficiencies of masks. Test microorganisms were quantitatively measured via cultivation methods and microbial filtration efficiencies were calculated appropriately. Results: All face masks showed over 99.6% filtration efficiency for S. aureus or murine coronavirus. There were no significant differences among the bacterial filtration efficiencies of the face masks. KF94-1 (99.97±0.08%) and Dust-1 mask (99.97±0.07%) showed the highest (over 99.9%) filtration efficiency for murine coronavirus. KF94-1 or Dust-1 masks showed a significant virus filtration efficiency compared to Surgical-1 mask (p<0.05; Mann-Whitney U test). Conclusions: All the commercially available face masks used in this study can filter S. aureus or murine coronavirus in bioaerosols efficiently, regardless of the mask type. Therefore, our results suggest that wearing a certified face mask is a reliable means to prevent the transmission of infectious airborne diseases via biological aerosols.

Objective : In this study, we conducted to analysis the patents about Korean medicine based treatment technology for pet. Methods : We collected the Korean, Japan, USA, China, EU and PCT patent for the Korean medicine-based treatment technology for pet using WIPSON data base registered by October 4, 2020 were selected. Results : Patents for the development of pet Korean medicine-based treatment technology have been constantly applied since the mid-2000s, starting in 1990, with a total of 84 applications. The number of patent applications filed in Korea was the largest, after Japan and China. The detailed composition of the applications reported until now is pharmaceutical compositions for the treatment of pet were the most applied with 39%(33 cases), followed by feed used as stocks for pet at 36%(30 cases). According to the patent application rate by disease, most of applications rate composed to be associated with immunity in 2009 to 2013 with 40% of applications. In 2014 to 2018 43% of patent applications are associated with gastrointestinal/digestive system. In this regard, multiple applications were filed in the order of immunity, digestive system, obesity and urinary system. Conclusion : This study analyzed the trend of 84 patents about Korean medicine-based treatment technology for pet to date to establish the basis for future research and development. There were many applications related to immunity from 2009 to 2013, and since then, related to digestive disease from 2014 to 2018.

본 연구는 2018 평창 동계올림픽 시설공사 프로젝트와 같이 국가적이고 대규모적인 멀티-메가 건설사업이 성공을 위하여 여러 분산된 장소에서 동시다발적으로 진행될 때 이를 효율적으로 관리하기 위한 새로운 건설사업 관리 방안을 제안하고자 한다. 이에 먼저 올림픽에 대하여 고찰하고, 올림픽 유산의 중요성과 그 활용의 성공 및 실패사례를 고찰한다. 특히, 올림픽 유산 중에서도 경기장 및 부속시설의 건립은 막대한 국가재정과 지자체의 자원이 투입되며, 올림픽 사후에 그 운영이 항상 문제가 되어 왔으므로 이에 대한 사례를 발판으로 삼아 이를 건설사업 사전에 반영할 수 있는 방안을 고찰하도록 한다. 이를 바탕으로 건설관리기술인 PM, FM, SM기술의 융합 모델을 제시한다. 즉, 각각의 관리기술을 금고의 다이얼적으로 조합하고 이를 각 건설사업에 적용하여 핵심적인 이슈인 주제를 선정 후 집중관리하는 모델을 제시한다. 이는 통하여 복잡한 관리의 대상과 항목 들을 효율화시키고 단순화하여 멀티-메가 건설 프로젝트의 성공적인 운영을 도모할 수 있다. 이를 목적형 건설사업관리 모델이라 명명하며, 평창 동계올림픽의 사례로 그 활용가능성을 제시한다. In this study, we suggest a kind of new paradigm and model in construction management technology about the national multi-mega projects which was constructed in nationwide and simultaneously such as 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympic venue construction projects. We have reviewed on the Olympic games and system on the point of view of the importance of Olympic legacy in maintenance after that. And there has been tremendous exhaustion of national and local government resources onto the Olympic venue construction projects. Therefore we should preconsider about the post-maintenance strategy on those projects. That is, we converge the three main management technology, project management, facility management and subject-oriented management into the orienting construction management (OCM) model just as a safe dialing. Then, we adopted the case of 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympic venue construction project on the OCM model which is shaped like circulating safe dial to check the adaptability of the newly suggesting model in this study. It is some kind of blended technology in construction management, which could be a kind of efficient and simplifying method on the multi-mega project management area to give a chance of the successful construction project.

The three-way catalyst diesel particulate filter for the purification of diesel exhaust gas was manufactured by the implementation of the high voltage discharging filter and three-way catalyst system. The high-voltage discharging filter was designed with the several pairs of the positive plate and the negative plate. The electric power 3.6 W with the voltage of 12 V and the current of 300 ㎃ was applied and the voltage was transformed to 5 ㎸. The three-way catalyst system was designed with DOC and De-NOx catalyst filter. The experimental measurement of the reduction of exhaust gas was performed by the implement of the truck named, "Carnival", a product of KIA Motor Co. at the engine speed of 2000 rpm. The exhaust gas was reduced by up to 30%.
