        델파이기법을 활용한 국가 공공(公共)백신 연구개발 정책수립 기초조사

        Background: Vaccination is the most powerful and useful preparation against infectious diseases. However, developing vaccines costs a lot and requires extensive long-term efforts. Therefore, the government should research and develop vaccines with a national-level policy. To greatly enhance the success rate of vaccine development, the policy should be set up considering priorities such as the current status of domestic research, the importance for public health, the urgency of research. Methods: The Delphi technique was utilized to draft this survey, through a brainstorming stage, then two inquiries, and finally the final panel meeting where unresolved items were discussed, to draw the conclusion. Results: Among the results, firstly, the highest ranked item on centralized fields for vaccine development by the Ministry of Health was ‘self-sufficiency of vaccines.’ Secondly, ‘emerging infectious disease’ was most highly ranked in prioritized fields of vaccine development and research. Thirdly, for the vaccine that needs to be improved and developed further by the government to improve its efficacy and safety, BCG (Bacille de Calmette) for tuberculosis was ranked the highest on both types (intradermal and subcutaneous injection) from National Immunization Programme (NIP) and non-NIP. As for the high risk pathogens, ‘anthrax’ and ‘smallpox’ were first and second, consecutively. Lastly, ‘development and control of vaccine candidates’ was ranked the highest for the area in need for technique development in order to improve domestic vaccine’s research level. Conclusion: The results of this study will be put to good use as basic data for the national vaccine research and development (R&D) policy of the country. This study was first step and more studies should be carried out for the final decision of the national vaccine R&D priority.

        유화-확산법을 이용한 폴리스티렌 방향 나노 입자의 제조: 특성 및 방출 거동

        An attempt was carried out to suggest a nano-sized agent for durable fragrant finishing of fabrics. By adopting emulsification-diffusion method, we could prepare polystyrene (PS) aromatic nanoparticles (ANP) with lavender oil (LO) in core. Effects of process parameters on mean particle sire and its distribution of PS-ANPs were also examined. With controlled preparative condition, we could obtain PS-ANPs of diameters ranging 200 to 400 nm with narrow distribution. PS-ANPs were coated with poly(vinyl alcohol) layer to restrict the diffusion of LO from PS-ANPs. Sustained release properties of PS-ANPs were also evaluated.

        도인승기탕에 의한 당뇨병성 혈관장애 개선효과

        Objectives : Diabetes mellitus is the leading cause for vascular complications such as atherosclerosis. The present study is to investigate whether Doinseunggi-tang (DST) improves diabetic vascular dysfunction in type II diabetes. Methods : The db/db mice were treated with high fat/high cholesterol diet and DST (200 mg/kg/day) for 8 weeks. Results : DST significantly lowered blood glucose and systolic blood pressure. In addition, DST also markedly decreased total plasma cholesterol, triglyceride, and LDL-cholesterol, whereas increased the HDL-cholesterol. Vascular relaxation of aortic rings by acetylcholine or SNP was ameliorated by DST in a dose-dependent manner. Damage of vascular intima and hypertrophic of media was improved by DST. Immunohistological study revealed that DST attenuated the increase of ICAM-1, VCAM-1, and ET-1 expression in thoracic aorta. Conclusions : Taken together, DST suppressed hyperglycemia and diabetic vascular dysfunction in type II db/db mice. The present data suggests that Doinseunggi-tang may be prevent a development of diabetic atherosclerosis.

        국가 화학물질 유해성정보 데이터베이스 구축 과정의 신뢰도 제고 방안에 관한 연구

        Objectives: According to the Act on Registration, Evaluation, Etc. of Chemicals, new and existing chemicals must be registered by 2030. In addition, industries need to submit hazard data as an attachment during the registration process. Therefore, we constructed a nationwide chemical database to support small industry by providing hazard data and original sources. During the process, we developed a new standard procedure for minimizing errors and increasing reliability. Methods: We analyzed the categories of errors and the cause of the errors through the verification results of the 2019 project. We present an improved database construction methodology and system. Results: Errors are categorized according to their causative factors into simple, technical, and structural type errors. Simple errors arise simply because of decreased concentration or negligence in following the instructions. Technical errors are caused by a discrepancy between the professional field and the type of data. Structural errors indicate systemic errors such as incomplete forms on the excel database or ambiguity in the guidelines. Lessons from the errors collected in the 2019 project are used to update the procedures for database authorization and technical guidelines. The main update points are as follows; ‘supplementation of review process’, ‘giving regular training to external reviewers’, ‘giving additional information to authors, like physico-chemical properties of substances, degradability, etc.’, ‘amendment of excel form’, and ‘guideline upgrades’. Conclusions: We conducted this study with the aim of improving the accuracy and reliability of the database of hazard information for chemical substances. The new procedures and guidelines are now being used in the 2020 project for construction of a hazard information database for Korea.

        식이제한이 마우스 신장의 글루타치온 대사과정에 미치는 영향

        Various benefits for the maintenance of metabolic homeostasis can be obtained through dietary restriction. Short-term fasting of mice may induce systemic metabolic remodeling, which may have a significant effect on the level of endogenous metabolites. This study was conducted to examine metabolic changes of sulfur-containing substances in the kidneys of fasted mice over 48 h. No change in the concentration of renal methionine was observed over 48 h; however, significant decreases in the concentrations of S-adenosylmethionine and S-adenosylhomocysteine were observed at both 24 and 48 h after fasting. A significant decrease in the concentration of renal cysteine was observed from 24 h, and this was maintained at 48 h. A significant decrease in the concentration of glutathione (GSH) was observed in the kidney at 48 h, whereas increased concentrations of taurine were observed 48 h after fasting. Although significantly increased expression levels of BHMT were observed, markedly decreased expression levels of CβS were observed at 48 h after fasting, indicating activated generation of methionine, but downregulation of cysteine synthesis. The expression level of γ-GCL was not altered by fasting for 48 h; however, a significant increase of cysteine sulfinate decarboxylase mediating the taurine synthesis was observed. Significantly decreased protein expression levels of solute carrier family 7 member 11, which imports extracellular cystine, were observed at 48 h. These results suggest that the renal methionine concentration was maintained during short-term fasting through an increase in the re-methylation of homocysteine. Moreover, a reduction in the concentration of cysteine was the result of an increase in the synthesis of taurine and a decrease in the uptake of extracellular cystine, which may result in a decreased concentration of renal GSH.

        성인용 한국판 신체자비척도(BCS)의 타당화

        본 연구는 Altman, Linfiled, Salmon 과 Beacham(2020)의 신체자비척도(Body Compassion Scale: BCS)를 한국판으로 타당화하는 데 목적이 있다. 예비연구에서 전국에 거주하는 성인 150명의 BCS 예비척도를 설문자료로 탐색적 요인분석을 실시하였다. 이 과정을 통한 결과를 보면, 원척도와는 달리 한국판 신체자비척도(K-BCS)는 총 19문항으로 구성되었으며 탈융합(8문항), 보편적 인간성(6문항), 수용(5문항)의 3개 하위요인을 확인하였다. 본 연구에서는 전국에 거주하는 374명의 자기 보고식 설문자료를 수거하여 타당도를 확인하였다. 먼저 한국판 신체자비 척도 (K-BCS)와 섭식태도(EAT-26)의 상관관계로 판별타당도를 확인하였고, 또한 한국판 신체자비 척도 (K-BCS)와 5요인 마음챙김(FFMQ)과의 상관분석으로 수렴타당도를 확인하였다. 위 결과들은 한국판 신체자비척도(K-BCS)가 개인의 신체상에 대한 긍정적인 개인의 인식을 측정해볼 수 있는 유효한 도구임을 증명하였다. 끝으로 본 연구에 대한 의의, 제한점 그리고 후속 연구에 대해 제언하였다. 본 연구결과는 향후 신체상에 대한 긍정심리치료 연구를 촉진할 뿐만 아니라 상담장면에 도움이 될 것으로 기대한다. The purpose of this study is to validate the Body Composition Scale (BCS) developed by Altman, et al. (2020) for Korean. In the preliminary study, a preliminary BCS measure of 150 adults living in the metropolitan area was conducted as a survey data. The results of this process show that unlike the original scale, the Korean version of the BCS consists of 19 itenms, and three sub-factors were identified: deconvergence (8 itenms), universal humanity (6 itenms), and acceptance (5 itenms). Next, 374 people living in the metropolitan area collected self-reported survey data to verify their validity. First, the discrimination feasibility was confirmed by the correlation between the Korean version of BCS and the eating attitude (EAT-26), and the convergence feasibility was also conducted by correlating the Korean version of BCS with the five-factor mind-taking (FFMQ). The above results proved that the Korean version of BCS is a valid tool to measure positive individual perceptions of the individual s body. Finally, we propose significance, limitations, and subsequent studies for this study. The results of this study are expected to help the counseling scene as well as facilitate future research on positive psychotherapy for the body.

        의료의 질은 효과, 효율, 적절성, 과학적-기술적 측면 등과 같은 4가지로 정의할 수 있다. 과학적-기술적 측면의 질 관리를 위해 의료기관에서는 매년 보수교육의 형태로 최신 지견을 현장에 보급하고 있다. 하지만 최신 지견이 가장 빠르게 보급되는 연구 결과들을 단발성인 보수교육만으로 임상 현장에 충분히 보급하는 것에는 명백한 한계가 존재한다. 빅데이터, 인공지능과 같은 지능정보처리 기술이 의료 분야에 적용될 경우 기존에 문헌 조사 등으로 연구되어 적은 정보만으로 연구를 수행해야 했던 한계를 극복할 수 있다. 본 논문은 기존 약재 처방 적응증을 확장할 수 있는 근거가 되는 데이터베이스를 구축한다. 이를 위해 한의학 관련 국내외 논문 정보를 수집, 저장 관리, 분석하는 작업을 수행한다. 약재 처방전의 확장 적응증 콘텐츠 구축을 위한 한의학 근거문헌 데이터의 처리 및 분석 기법을 설계한다. 본 연구를 통해 한의학 의사결정지원시스템에서 근거기반 약재처방 주치 정보의 기본 콘텐츠로 활용할 수 있을 것이라 기대한다. The quality of medical care can be defined as four types such as effectiveness, efficiency, adequacy, and scientific-technical quality. For the management of scientific-technical aspects, medical institutions annually disseminate the latest knowledge in the form of conservative education. However, there is an obvious limit to the fact that the latest knowledge is distributed quickly enough to the clinical site with only one-time conservative education. If intelligent information processing technologies such as big data and artificial intelligence are applied to the medical field, they can overcome the limitations of having to conduct research with only a small amount of information. In this paper, we construct databases on which the existing medicine prescription adaptations can be extended. To do this, we collect, store, manage, and analyze information related to oriental medicine at domestic and abroad Journals. We design a processing and analysis technique for oriental medicine evidence research data for the construction of a database of oriental medicine prescription extended adaption. Results can be used as a basic content of evidence-based medicine prescription information in the oriental medicine-related decision support services.

        인공신경망을 이용한 드레이프성 예측

        This study aims to propose a prediction model for the drape coefficient using artificial neural networks and to analyze the nonlinear relationship between the drape properties and physical properties of fabrics. The study validates the significance of each factor affecting the fabric drape through multiple linear regression analysis with a sample size of 573. The analysis constructs a model with an adjusted R<sup>2</sup> of 77.6%. Seven main factors affect the drape coefficient: Grammage, extruded length values for warp and weft (m<sub>warp</sub>, m<sub>weft</sub>), coefficients of quadratic terms in the tensile-force quadratic graph in the warp, weft, and bias directions (c<sub>warp</sub>, c<sub>weft</sub>, c<sub>bias</sub>), and force required for 1% tension in the warp direction (f<sub>warp</sub>). Finally, an artificial neural network was created using seven selected factors. The performance was examined by increasing the number of hidden neurons, and the most suitable number of hidden neurons was found to be 8. The mean squared error was .052, and the correlation coefficient was .863, confirming a satisfactory model. The developed artificial neural network model can be used for engineering and high-quality clothing design. It is expected to provide essential data for clothing appearance, such as the fabric drape.
