The three main interests of biblical writers are the theological, the historical, and the literary. Nowadays, the literary approach to the Bible is changed from the classical tradition which sees literature as an imitation of reality to the romantic tradition which sees literature as an image of human experience. The stories of the Bible tell of the mankind's experience at its most moving and most memorable in words that go beyond mere chronicle: words that strike the human heart and light up the vision through the lens. One of the literary lens of the Bible which we can see the whole story about the leader's foreseeing ability is the Acts 1 & 2. Two types of the leaders, Judas Iscariot and David are introduced by Peter in the Acts 1 & 2. One of the 12 disciples of Jesus, Judas Iscriot could not foresee three days ahead, so he betrayed his master, whereas David could foresee one thousand years ahead, by the help of the Holy Spirit which confides in those who fear him and makes His covenant known to them(Psalm 25: 14).

A case of Niemann-Pick disease type A

Niemann-Pick병은 lysosome내에 sphingomyelinase의 결핍으로 sphingomyelin이란 지질이 축적된 세포들이 간, 비장, 골수, 폐, 및 뇌 등에 침착되어 간, 비장 종대 및 신경증상을 나타내며, 상염색체 열성으로 유전되는 대사성 질환이다. 1914년 Niemann에 의해 처음 보고되어 Gaucher병의 한 변형으로 분류되어 있다가, 1927년 Pick에 의해 새로 분류되어 Niemann-Pick병으로 명명되었다. 세계적으로도 희귀한 질환으로 국내에서는 1962년 정 등이 처음 보고한 이래 현재까지 저자가 조사한 바로 총 7례 정도가 보고되었다.저자들은 18개월 된 남아에서 임상증상 및 검사 소견으로 A 형 Niemann-Pick병으로 생각되는 1례를 경험하였기에 문헌 고찰과 함께 보고하는 바이다. Niemann-Pick disease is a group of autosomal recessive disorders associated with hepatosplenomegaly, variable neurologic deficits, and the storage of sphingomyelin and other lipids. Seven cases have been reported in Korea. We report an additional case presenting with hypotonia, early neurodevelopmental delay, hepatosplenomegaly and death by persistent pneumonia and asphyxia at the age of 23 months. MRI of brain and fundoscopic findings of our case at 4 months of age were normal. However, abnormal intensity of the thalamus and atrophy of the right temporal lobe on the MRI and macular cherry red spots were noticed at the age of 17 months. A bone marrow biopsy showed large foamy cells, while hexosaminidase A and B levels were normal. Although biochemical or molecular workup was not done, these findings led to the diagnosis of infantile onset Niemann-Pick disease, probably type A. A brief review of the related literatures was made.

This dissertation deals with the establishment of standard data, by using Group Technology, of baby care(cosmetics) manufacturing system which has been developed to, accommodate varieties of consumer's requirment. This kind of manufacturing system is usually adopted in cosmetics, pharmaceutical, food and other fields. The object of this study is to develop a standard data, by using Group Technology of manufacturing processes which makes it possible to establish standard time more easily, more consistently and more accurately than any other methods of time study does. The procedure to establish standard data using GT is as follows; a. Selecting similar processes from field. b. Coding element work by using Group Technology, c. Synthesizing the standard data compared with MSD data from the film analysis of the actual operations, d. Dealing with a case study for the actual applications and testing the properness. The standard data using Group Technology in this study may be used efficiently in establishing standard time which is one of the most important and fundamental too scientific labor management.

마가렛 로런스의 소설세계: 생존의 양면

There are two views about survival in Laurence’s fictional world; one is pessimistic, the other is optimistic. Clearly pessimistic are the characters’ survival conditions such as unwholesome climate, unproductive soil, oppressive society, racial prejudice, and their weak minds which cannot adapt themselves to these environments. These elements bring a pessimistic atmosphere to her fictional world. But most of her characters are free, little by little, from this pessimistic atmosphere to take a quiet mind to stand against their bad environments as the fiction goes to its end. Laurence asks us not to give up hope in this rough world. In her novels Laurence describes the dangerous and threatening world to show a strenuous protagonist who begins a new start with an optimistic mind. Laurence describes the desperate surroundings to show a strong mind which overcomes the threats to death, the sufferings, the alienation and solitude, the meaninglessness, and gets a spiritual awakening to get over all the outward hardships. Laurence is a typical Canadian writer who describes the lives of the first immigrants to Canada and their offsprings. So her fictional world can give us an important clue to understand the other Canadian writers such as Ernst Buckler and Hugh MacLennan. In these writers we also can find the optimistic mind to stand against and overcome the desperate surroundings. So, Magaret Atwood and Gail MacGregor who argue that Laurence is a pessimistic writer wrong, because both of them fail to see the character’ new start in spite of outward hard ships.

아파트 분양가상한제가 실내마감재 및 설비구성에 미치는 영향

우리나라의 대표적인 주거유형으로 자리잡은 아파트는 주택보급률 상승과 함께 국민경제에 상호 영향을 미치며 발전해 왔다. 특히 분양가 자율화 이후 아파트가격은 급상승하였고, 이에 대한 규제책으로 정부는 2007 년 9 월 분양가상한제를 시행하였다. 본 논문은 “분양가상한제” 라는 법적인 규제와 관련하여 그 시행 전후의 아파트 분양가격을 분석하고, 분양가상한제 시행이 아파트 실내마감재와 설비시스템 구성경향에 미치는 영향을 파악하는 데 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 2007년 8월에서 2008년 4월 사이 개관한 아파트 모델하우스 내 설치된 44 개의 단위세대를 조사 분석하였다. 공간별, 평형별, 분양가 상한제 시행 전후 별로 구문하여 조사하였으며, 이 때 조사공간은 연결, 공용, 개인, 가사, 위생공간으로 한정하였다. 조사 결과 분앙가상한제 시행 후의 아파트 분양가는 지역시세보다 약 10~15%p 하락하였으며, 분양가상한제 시행 전보다는 25%p 가량 낮아졌다. 이는 정부가 예상한 인하 폭과 부합하는 조사결과였다. 실내마감재는 분양가상한제 시행 이후 그 품질이 저하되었으며, 설비시스템은 각종 가산비의 영향으로 분양가상한제에 큰 영향을 받지 않았다. 다만 생활설비시스템 줄 빌트인 가전기기 등의 주방편의설비시스텀은 설치비율이 감소하였다. The apartment has developed as the most prevalent residence type in Korea, while receiving and exerting the influence from and to the national economy along with the elevation of house supplying rate. Especially, since the apartment price became freed, the price of apartment rapidly soared. As a regulation measure, Korean government introduced the apartment price upper limit system, first applying it from the public housing lands in September 2007. This paper has the purpose to analyze the change of apartment price before and after the legal restriction of ``apartment price upper limit system`` and to find out the influence of the system on the apartment interior finishing materials and the installation composition. To achieve such purpose, the field survey and the cyber model house research were made for 44 unit models that were opened between September 2007 and April 2008. The unit models were classified into the space, area type, and before/after of price upper limit system. Here, the space range was confined by connection, common use, private, housework and sanitary spaces. After the upper limit system, the apartment price became about 10~15% lower than the price of surrounding apartments and 25% lower than that of before the system, This result agrees well with the government. The quality of interior finishing materials was degraded. The installation system was little influenced by the price upper limit system. But, as exceptions, the installation rates of the built-in kitchen-wares and the bathroom equipments among the life convenient equipments decreased.

DHLA 항원을 이용한 친자감별

Background: A paternity test or a genetic parentage test is a method of proving paternity or maternity that is, whether a man is the biological father or mother of another individual. Our objective is to calculate the probability of parentage by 3 or 4 HLA loci. Methods: From February 1999 to June 2005, HLA serological or DNA types of 16 children were compared with those of alleged father or mother with ABO and Rh blood types. Results: Among 16 comparable pairs or trios, 12 pairs were found to have biological relationships while 4 pairs were excluded on the test. The probability of paternity calculated for the alleged father of each matching pair was >98% in 12 of the 16 inclusion cases. All the plaintiff accepted the outcomes described based on the probability. Conclusion: Although short tandem repeat (STR) or other DNA tests are gaining more popularity in parentage testing. HLA typing still can be applicable in inclusion or exclusion of paternity in limited cases.
