        한국에서 사용 중인 개 파보바이러스 백신의 유효성 확인

        Canine parvovirus (CPV) type 2a (CPV-2a) has recently been identified as the main genotype circulating in the dog population in South Korea. Although CPV vaccines protect domestic dogs from CPV-2 infection, the efficacy of commercial live or inactivated CPV vaccines against CPV-2a has not been reevaluated. In this study, dogs were immunized with one of 7 commercial CPV vaccines (4 modified live and 3 inactivated vaccines) followed by challenge with CPV-2a strain, KV0901 that had been isolated from naturally infected dog in 2009. All dogs vaccinated twice with 4 commercial modified live CPV vaccines were seroconverted (geometric mean HI titer >190.2) and most of dogs were completely protected against virulent CPV-2a strain infection. The dogs inoculated with 3 commercial inactivated CPV vaccines were also seroconverted and showed a slight loss of appetite and light diarrhea for 4 days after challenge and returned to normal at 5 days post challenge. However, the non-vaccinated dogs revealed the typical clinical signs of CPV infection including haemorrhgic diarrhea. In conclusion, the 4 live CPV vaccines licensed in Korea cross-protected dogs against virulent challenge with CPV-2a and are applicalble to pet dogs for the prevention of CPV infection.

        Psychosocial Impact of Chronic Orofacial Pain

        The aim of the study was to evaluate psychosocial impact of non-dental chronic orofacial pain (OFP) on daily living using the graded chronic pain (GCP) scale. It is also investigated the clinical profile such as demographics, event related to initiation of OFP and prior treatments for patients. During previous 6 months since September 2008, 572 patients (M:F=1:1.5, mean age=34.7 years) with non-dental OFP attended university-based specialist orofacial pain clinic (Dankook University Dental Hospital, Cheonan) to seek care although 63% of them already experienced related treatment for their OFP problem. They visited the most frequently general dental practitioner and orthopedic doctors due to their pain problem and medication was the most commonly employed modality. Most of the patients (89.2%) had TMD and the most common related event to initiation of their pain was trauma, followed by dental treatment. Almost half of the patients (46%) suffered from chronic pain(${\geq}6\;M$) and 40% of them exhibited relatively high disability due to chronic OFP. GCP pain intensity and disability days were significantly different for age and diagnosis (p<0.05) but not for gender and duration. GCP grades were affected by all the factors including gender, age, pain duration and diagnosis.(p=0.000) Female gender, elders, and long lasting pain were closely related to high disability. The patients with neuropathic Pain and mixed OFP rather than TMD were graded as being highly disabled. Conclusively, a considerable percentage of chronic OFP patients reports high pain-related disability in their daily, social and work activity, which suggest a need for psychosocial support and importance of earlier referral for appropriate diagnosis and tailored management.

        공공기관의 BIM 설계 활성화 방안 연구: LH 사례를 중심으로

        최근 국외 건설사들은 BIM 설계를 통하여 건설 생산성 및 품질향상의 효과를 얻고 있다. 반면에 국내의 BIM 설계는 추가 비용 및 전문 인력부족 등의 문제로 침체되어 있는 실정이다. 건설경기의 불황 등의 이유로 건설시장 규모가 축소되어 있는 시기인 만큼 일차적으로 공공기관을 중심으로 BIM 설계를 활성화하여 설계 초기 단계뿐만 아니라 시공분야까지 BIM을 적극적으로 도입하고 그에 따른 성과의 확산 및 국내 BIM 기술발전을 도모할 수 있어야 한다. 본 연구에서는 BIM 설계 활성화를 위해서 일차적으로 공공기관의 BIM 설계를 활성화시킬 수 있는 방안을 제시하였다. 이를 위하여 한국토지주택공사(LH) 사례를 통하여 BIM 설계 추진상의 문제점들을 분석하였고, 그에 따른 개선방향 및 구체적인 설계 적용 방안을 제안하였다. 또한, 제시된 방안을 단계적으로 수행하기 위해 "LH BIM 설계 적용 로드맵"을 수립하였으며, 그에 따른 기대효과를 제시하였다. 제안된 연구 내용은 한국토지주택공사에서 시범사업으로 적용될 예정이다. Recently, foreign construction companies through the BIM-design have the effect of improving productivity and quality construction. On the other hand, domestic BIM-design is a little depressed because of lack of additional costs and professional personnel problem. The construction industry of recession, as reasons of construction market is downsizing. First must, enabling the design in public institutions, mainly BIM.. Design for BIM the construction sector, as well as an early stage actively introducing and spreading of the performance of him and domestic BIM technology should be able to promote the development. Public institutions in accordance with this study presented measures that can stimulate the BIM design on LH. To that end, the public agency's design were analyzed, and suggested the Improvement and Application of the four aspects for Modular Coordination BIM Design. Also, gradually formulate a "road map for public institutions applied design bim" in order to carry out the plans put forward and presented the expected effect of him. The proposed work was public institutions will be used as a pilot project in Korea Land Housing Corporation.

        Occlusal Analysis of the Patients with Temporomandibular Disorders Using T-Scan II System

        Correlation between occlusal contact pattern and TMD have been hypothesized and partially investigated but results are controversial and not conclusive. The purposes of this study were to compare right-to-left difference of occlusal contact pattern, through contact points, contact force and occlusal balance, in the patients with unilateral TMD and also to evaluate its change related with TMD treatment. 36 patients with unilateral TMD from Department of Oral Medicine in Dankook University Dental Hospital were selected in this study (M:F=7:29, mean age of $29.2{\pm}14.8$ years). A computerized T-Scan II system (Tekscan, INC., USA) was employed for occlusal analysis and the simultaneity and occlusal balance through the number of tooth contact and magnitude of contact force were determined before and after TMD treatment. The number of contact points and contact force was more on the unaffected side than the affected side before treatment (p=0.056 and p=0.060, respectively) while significant difference between both sides was not found after treatment. The number of contact points and contact force on the affected sides significantly increased after treatment (p=0.038 and p=0.052), but the unaffected sides exhibited no significant difference between before and after treatment. In addition, sides difference in relative contact force decreased from about 27% to about 12% after TMD treatment (p=0.001). According to the results of this study, it is likely that unilateral TMD impairs right-to-left occlusal balance and that conservative TMD treatment alleviates the imbalance, subsequently leading to more symmetrical occlusal condition with increased contact points and force.

        연구논문(硏究論文) : K-IFRS 의무적용이 건설업의 재무상태와 영업성과에 미친 영향

        본 연구는 K-IFRS 도입 초기에 해당하는 비교적 최근 자료를 이용하여 K-IFRS 의무적용이 재무구조와 영업성과 측면에서 건설기업에 어떠한 영향을 미쳤는지를 살펴보고자 하였다. 이와 같은 연구목적을 달성하기 위해 우선 종합 건설업에 해당하는 상장기업표본에 대해 도입 전후 영업성과 변수들과 부채비율 변수들에 차이가 있는지 확인하고, K-IFRS 의무적용 여부 더미변수 및 통제변수들을 포함한 회귀분석들을 실시하였다. 구체적으로 각 회귀분석의 종속변수는 영업성과 변수와 부채비율 변수이며, 주된 독립변수들은 의무적용 여부 더미변수 및 분양매출비율 등이다. 주요 분석결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, K-IFRS 의무적용은 영업현금(CFO)에는 유의한 영향을 미치지 않았다. 그러나 당기순이익(ROA)에 유의한 음(-)의 영향을, 순이익 변동(|△ROA|)에 유의한 양(+)의 영향을 미친 것으로 나타났다. 즉, K-IFRS 의무도입에 따라 ROA가 감소하고, ROA 변동 폭이 확대되었다는 것을 알 수 있다. 둘째, K-IFRS 의무도입은 부채비율 (LEV)에는 유의한 영향을 미치지 않았으나, 충당부채(PRO, SPRO)에는 유의한 양(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 K-IFRS 도입에 따라 부채비율에는 큰 변화가 없었으나, 충당부채 등의 인식가능성은 커졌음을 의미한다. 또한 이러한 충당부채의 증가효과는 분양매출 수준이 높은 기업에서 두드러진 것으로 나타났다. The Adoption of K-IFRS was expected to have the greatest impact on the construction industry, because of industry-specific characteristics. Accordingly, the purpose of this study is to examine how the adoption of K-IFRS affected financial position and operating performance of firms in the construction industry. Empirical results are as follows. First, while the adoption of K-IFRS had no effect on cash flow of operating(CFO), it had a significant negative effect on net income(ROA) and significant positive effect on the volatility of net income( |ROA| ), respectively. This result implicates that new accounting standards(K-IFRS) could cause ROA( |ROA| ) to decrease(increase), in spite of no change in CFO. Second, the adoption of K-IFRS did not have an effect on total liability-to-asset ratio(LEV), but it had a significant effect on provisions(PRO, SPRO). This shows that construction firms listed in Korean stock market are likely to recognize a variety of provisions caused by the adoption of K-IFRS, even though total liability would not change.

        戰略金屬 스크랩 資源化를 위한 코발트 物質흐름 現況調査

        세계의 인구증가와 경제성장에 따라 천연자원 특히 전략금속의 수요가 급격히 증가하고 있다. 국가가 보유하고 있는 자원의 양은 천연자원 뿐 아니라 재활용을 통하여 얻을 수 있는 폐자원을 함께 포함해야 한다. 본 연구에서는 전략금속의 안정적 확보와 폐자원의 효율적 재활용을 위하여 코발트의 국내외 사용현황 등을 조사하였으며 아울러 미국 내에서의 코발트 물질흐름에 대한 자료를 정리하였다. 그 결과 미국에서는 2003년도에 약 8,000톤의 코발트가 사용되었으며 원료로 재사용된 스크랩의 양은 총사용량의 28%인 2,200톤이었다. 미국의 경우 초합금과 촉매의 재활용은 잘 이루어지고 있으나 자석류와 초경합금의 경우 재활용율이 다소 낮음을 알 수 있었다. As world population increases and the world economy expalds, so does the demand for natural resources especially strategic metals such as cobalt. An accurate assesment of the nation's minerals must include not only the resources available in the ground but also those that become available through recycling. In this paper, data on domestic and international supply of cobalt and its applications by end-user were analyzed for stable security of cobalt resources and effective recycling of cobalt scraps. Also, an initial evaluation of the flow of cobalt-containing materials in the United States was prepared. In 2003, 8,000 metric tons of cobalt were consumed in the United States and an estimated 28% of U.S. cobalt supply was derived from scrap. The superalloy industry and catalyst industries have well-established recycling or cobalt recovery practices. Recycling rates of cobalt scraps from magnet alloy and cemented carbide were relatively low.

      • 물류 출하 관제 서비스를 위한 효율적인 GPS 기반의 차량 모니터링 시스템 구현

        본 논문에서는 물류 출하 관제 서비스를 위한 효율적인 GPS 기반의 차량 모니터링 시스템을 설계 및 구현한다. 제안하는 시스템은 작은 아키텍처로 불리며 전체 시스템 설계의 안정화를 촉진하며 아울러 신뢰성을 향상시키기 위해 객체지향 모델링의 디자인 패턴을 적용하여 시스템을 설계한다. 또한 GPS가 내장된 PDA를 통해 클라이언트의 위치를 획득하고 CDMA망을 기반으로 클라이언트와 관제 서버간의 통신을 하며, 클라이언트의 위치는 맵 서비스를 통해 직접 확인할 수 있다. 효과적인 물류 차량의 이동 경로 관리 및 검색을 위해 기존의 TB-트리를 확장한 색인 기법을 제안한다. 아울러 실제 물류 운송에서 운송 차량의 수배 및 배차 등록, 상차 작업, 배송경로 및 목적지 도착 여부를 모니터링 할 수 있는 물류 출하 관제 시스템인 g-LOGICS 시스템을 구축함으로써 제안된 시스템의 유용성을 검증할 수 있었다. In this paper, we design and implement an efficient GPS based vehicle monitoring system for logistics shipping service. The proposed system is designed by applying design patterns of object oriented modeling called mini-architecture to enhance reliability of software as well as promote stability of overall system design. In addition, we can get a position information by means of the GPS embedded in PDA and communicate between client and monitoring server using CDMA network so that the position of client can be identified directly by the map service. This paper proposes an moving object indexing technique which extends the existing TB-tree to manage and retrieve a transporting trajectory of logistics efficiently. Finally, with development of the logistics shipping service called g-LOGICS system, we can verify the usefulness of our system which is able for monitoring a vehicle preparation, allocating registration, loading a burden, transfer path, and destination arrival in real world.
