A 53-year-old woman presented with left mandibular area pain, trismus, and facial numbness that had persisted for 4 years. Physical examination revealed a 3×5 cm, hard, non-tender, and round mass on the left mandibular area. Computed tomography and magnetic resonance imaging revealed an expansile tumor involving the left mandibular ramus and temporomandibular joint area with bone destruction, extending to the base of middle cranial fossa and left zygomatic bone. The mass at the segment of left mandible and zygomatic bone, and base of middle cranial fossa was removed. Pathological examination of the mass revealed a giant cell tumor. The defect was reconstructed with iliac bone for the mandible and temporal bone and fascia for the cranial bone and dura. The case is described along with a review of the literature. 요트 세일은 대부분 얇은 직물 소재로 만들어져 있어 바람에 의한 동적 유체력과 마스트, 붐과 같은 지지 구조에서 전달받은 외력에 의해 양력을 효율적으로 발생시킬 수 있는 캠버 형태의 세일 형상이 만들어진다. 이러한 입사 유동과 외력의 크기나 조건이 바뀌면 세일의 형상이 변하게 되고 이러한 형상 변형은 세일 주위 유동과 유체력에 영향을 미쳐 다시 세일 형상의 변형과 연동하게 되므로 세일의 유체역학적 성능에 대한 정밀한 최적화를 위해서는 유체-구조 연성해석을 해야만 한다. 본 연구에서는 캠버가 없는 단순한 형태의 세일을 대상으로 유동해석 결과를 구조해석의 하중조건으로 적용하는 One way FSI 기법을 사용하여 이러한 유체-구조 연성 현상을 살펴보았다. 해석 방법의 타당성과 수치 계산의 신뢰성을 확인하기 위하여 유한요소 수에 따른 변형 거동의 차이를 비교하여 보았으며, 세일이 마스트와 붐과 같은 리그에 의해 가질 수 있는 경계 조건을 모사하여 세일 변형을 살펴보았다. 세일은 두께가 얇은 직물 소재로서 주름과 같은 비선형적인 형상 변형이 나타나게 되므로 비선형 구조해석을 수행하였으며 그 결과를 탄성 소재로 간주하고 해석한 결과와 비교하여 보았다.

Colorectal cancer is a commonly diagnosed cancer in the world. Monoclonal antibody (mAb) CO17‐1A recognizes the tumor‐associated antigen GA733, a cell surface glycoprotein highly expressed in colorectal carcinoma cell, which is considered to be applicable for diagnosis and therapeutic treatment against colorectal cancer. In addition antibodies are glycoproteins, efficiently recognize and eliminate specific pathogenic and disease antigens. We have currently established baculovirus insect cell expression system to produce anti‐colorectal cancer mAb CO17‐1A. In this study, mAb CO17‐1A was expressed in the transgenic insect cell line SfSWT4, in which glycosylation processing pathway has been humanized. Immunoblot confirmed that mAb CO17‐1A properly expressed in SfSWT4 insect cells. mAb CO17‐1A was purified using protein G affinity column. In addition, MALDI‐TOF verified that the mAb CO17‐1A fused to KDEL, endoplasmic reticulum (ER) retention signal (mAb CO17‐1AK) had high mannose type of glycan structure. Migration assay showed that insect cell‐derived mAb CO17‐1AK (mAbI CO17‐1AK) with high mannose type of glycan structure was effective as mammalian‐derived mAb CO17‐1A (mAbM CO17‐1A) in inhibition of metastasis. Kinetic analysis of antigen‐antibody interaction using Surface Plasmon Resonance (SPR) confirmed that mAbI CO17‐1AK is efficient to interact with antigen GA733 as mAbM CO17‐1A. These results suggest that the insect cell expression system with the SfSWT4 possibly can be used as a useful alternative way to produce full‐size mAb for cancer immunotherapy.

일반적인 요트 세일은 두께가 얇은 직물 소재로 만들어져 있어 바람의 세기와 방향에 의한 유체력에 의해 복잡하게 변형되는 3차원적인 캠버 형상을 갖게 되며, 마스트와 붐 등과 같이 구조 변형이 가능한 리그에 의해 부분적으로 지지되어 있어, 지지 방법과 지지력의 영향을 받게 된다. 이렇게 변형된 세일 형상은 다시 유동 현상에 영향을 주고, 리그의 변형에 관여하게 되므로 세일의 유체역학적 성능에 대해 정밀하게 파악하고, 세일과 리그의 최적 설계를 위해서는 유체-구조 연성해석을 해야 한다. 본 연구에서는 30ft급 요트의 메인 세일을 대상으로 유동 해석을 수행하고, 그 결과를 구조 해석의 하중 조건으로 적용하여 형상의 변형을 계산하였다. 마스트와 붐과 같은 리그에 의해 받게 되는 지지력을 구조 해석의 경계 조건으로 적용하였으며, 변형되어진 세일 형상에 대해 다시 유동 해석을 반복하여 유체역학적 성능이 어떻게 변하였는지 살펴보았다.
The Immunoexpression of Visfatin in Oral Carcinogenesis from Korean Patients

Visfatin is a pro-inflammatory cytokine, which is thought to play a central role in systemic inflammation and the pathogenesis of obesity related diseases. Only a few studies investigated the effect of visfatin on human cancers. Furthermore, there have been no studies on the association between the expression of visfatin in OSCC tissue and its effect on OSCC patients. Hence, the present study analyzed the expression of visfatin in OSCC from Korean patients. Immunohistochemistry for visfatin was performed using 12 normal oral mucosas (NOM), 16 oral leukoplakias (with/without dysplasia), and 58 OSCC patients samples. Immunoreactivity was semi-quantitatively scored and the correlation between the expression of visfatin and clinicopathological parameters of OSCC patients was analyzed. The immunohistochemical analysis demonstrated that the expression level of visfatin increased in OSCC alone (p<0.05). Moreover, the immunoexpression score of visfatin was significantly correlated with TNM stage of OSCC patients. Our findings suggested that visfatin can play a certain role in the pathogenesis of OSCC. In addition, visfatin was associated with the tumor progression of OSCC patients and may act as independent biomarker of OSCC.

As the development of the computing technology and the expansion of networking, the way of transmitting information has been changed from two dimension to three dimension. Specially, it has been changes rapidly on the internet. In two dimensional environment uses simply get texts and 2D images, but now we can get information dynamically and really through three dimensional environment. The paper shows the definition and features of Web3D representing 3D technology on the web. We also discuss about E-Commerce on Web3D and actually test the feature of Web3D.
